Sorry, I don't have a banner or anything fancy, it's just a blog. A day-to-day summary of days I feel like sharing (or days where I am not busy).
So, before I start, let me tell you about me. I live in New Haven, Connecticut, along the shoreline. In fact, it's only a walk up the street and I'm at the seawall. I'm a student in one of the best magnet high schools in New Haven. My favorite sports are swimming, tennis, and baseball. My hobbies include airsoft, video games, paintball, and computers. I'm 14, and honestly I have been thinking about making a blog for sometime.
And now I'm making one! :D
I was actually a member on the Nintendo NSider Forums, but they closed down, and here I am. Send me a message if you were once a member to, maybe I'll remember you ;)

I'm really mad right now, I just finished my entry and it wouldn't let me post it, so I re-logged in and now I have to type it all over again! :bashhead:
When I woke up this morning, I felt in a mood to get things done. So I got dressed right away, and then watched the news until about 6:30. Then I had my usual cup of coffee (2.5 scoops of sugar and cream), brushed my teeth, and headed off to the bus stop.
But I forgot my iPod! Dang it.
When I got to school, I waited outside the cafeteria, debating whether or not to buy a drink from the machine. But the bell rang a few seconds later, and I decided not to.
When I got to my locker I opened it and pushed down the little lever that opened the compartment above my locker, for my books. The door opened in such a manner that I thought to myself It's just a matter of time before that door hits somebody- and then my hand hit the door and the door hit me in the side of the face.
Since I have block scheduling (A days and B days), I only have four classes a day. I love it!
First period (PE): I did 30 curl-ups as part of the state fitness test.
Second period (Spanish 2): I almost fell asleep. Spanish never really interested me.
Third period (Honors physical chemistry): I learned about density.
I had lunch next but I'll skip that and go to last class.
Fourth period (Honors English 1): I read the story "The Necklace" (the ending is quite ironic) and chatted with friends. When the teacher called my name and a girl's name to get our textbooks, almost everyone in the class assumed that we liked each other, and that we would make a cute couple. Two of my classmates actually tried to get me to go out with her, but when I went to talk with her, I just said hi and talked about other things.
Finally I got home. Since I did all my homework yesterday and thanks to block scheduling, I didn't have any homework to do today. So I played the Sims 2. I got a promotion, and now I go to work in a limo!
Then I jogged to my grandma's house to get some groceries.
And since dinner won't be ready for a while, I wanted to make my first blog entry.

There was no entry yesterday because I was out painting and didn't get back until late last night.
I woke up late for my bus stop. I never thought I would finish getting prepared so fast.
I ran a mile today in 9:35, not too bad.
Spanish was boring yet again.
I learned about atoms in Phy-Chem.
I had a burger, a bottle of water and chips at lunch today.
And last period (English) we prepared for a test.
So far today all I did other than go to school was do my homework and go to the local Stop and Shop. This is a rather short post, I know, but I just didn't do that much.
But at 7:00 I have to go to Boy Scouts. I am a first class scout with 11 merit badges.

Sorry for the delay of no posts, things have been busy for me lately.
So, I woke up on time for school today, but still had to get driven to the bus stop because it was getting a little too late to walk. I'm glad I did, because the bus was actually on time today!
Nothing interesting in school happened, it was all the usual, and good grades on tests and papers I got back.
But I had different classes today: Algebra, Latin, History, and Keyboarding.
I listened to my iPod to and from school. Sometimes the bus ride is so boring. So when I got home I had some snacks, did my homework, and rode my bike to my grandma's house to work on a project.
Dinner was delicious, as always.
And here I am, typing away on a blog.

So many things have been happening that I haven't been able to come on here. I tried yesterday but the site didn't load up so I didn't get on yesterday.
First, I am passing most of my classes with A's and B's. The only two classes that needed some improvement were phy-chem (C) and English (D). But now I have an A+ in phy-chem (thank you extra-credit and teacher error) and around a B in English (thank you 90% on a big project)
I finally felt Fall today. It's been in the 70's all month long, and now finally it feels like Fall. While waiting at the bus stop this morning listening to my iPod (Sonic Adventure 2 sounds good at 6:40 am), it was 34 degrees. I had to wear a heavy jacket, a hat, and gloves. And as always the bus didn't come.
But other days all I hd to wear was a light jacket or a hoodie.

Before I start my entry, has any other user here been told that they are not logged in when they are about to post a long entry, such as this blog entry? It's happened to me too many times.
So, I took my quarterly exams this past week and got grades back for some of them. I got a 102 on the Latin exam (best grade in the class), and a 93.4 on the World History exam.
My grades in my classes have greatly improved. My C in Honors Phy-Chem is now an A+ and my D in English is in B range. And with the quarter having just closed, my grades have managed to hold on to the near honors level.
On Thursday I was selected by one of the administrators at my school to attend a special Board of Education meeting in downtown New Haven with someone from Cambridge University. I was the only freshman student council officer attending, but other than that I am not going into too much about it. And then we got pizza, yum! And I missed my 2B (Latin) and most of my 345B class (World History). Remember, I have block scheduling.
In other school news, my school was accepted for a playwright program. I am a terrible actor, and I'm not good at memorizing things. If I was an off-stage narrator, or maybe even an on-stage narrator, it wouldn't be too bad. And, I'm in the "you guys weren't picked by anyone so why not make a group?" group. Fortunately I'm with most of my friends.
I caught some kind of cold this weekend, and it's been causing me sneezing and congestion, two factors of a cold I loath. Part of me wants to get rid of it, but another part wants me to keep it long enough to the point where I may not go to school tommorow.

Happy late Thanksigiving!
I got my report card for the first quarter, and I must say I exceeded my own expectations. I passed this quarter with high honors and straight A's, and good comments from my teachers. I was very glad to know that I went from a D in English to an A. That's three whole letter grades up.
Today I spent my whole day home playing games. My parents went shopping (they said that they avoided the electronics section as a whole because customers were going crazy, lol I'm not surprised).
I wouldn't really go into detail about me playing games except for the fact that something really odd occured today while playing Worms 3D.
When I play W3D on my Gamecube, the game is always having problems and will stop in the middle of cutscenes, making me restart the game. Today it was acting unusually bad, when I decided to try the Wii's backwards compatibility. When I played the game, the game played perfect with no stops and I was actually able to finish cutscenes that made me laugh so hard.
I find that really weird, but it makes me happy so why not?

Today schools were closed statewide, because it is snowing pretty heavy outside. The whole state had a heavy snow warning, while the immediate shoreline had a winter storm warning. I plan to go outside later and shovel a bit and have some fun, but for now I'm going to "let it snow, let it snow, let it snow".
While it's cold out today, it was hot yesterday in downtown New Haven: there was a "downtown inferno" (as stated by the news) yesterday morning. Five businesses were burned down, 14 other businesses affected, and a big evacuation. I was surprised I didn't see the smoke, because I was near that area yesterday while on the school bus, and I heard that the smoke could be seen as far away as East Haven, which is a pretty good distance away.
In my last post I talked about how W3D was working really well with the Wii and not so with the GCN. Surprisingly, W3D is still playing perfect on the Wii. Now I'm thinking: was the game defective or was the GCN to blame? I think that the GCN is getting too old.
12 days until Christmas, and I'm getting excited. The three things that top my list are Worms: Open Warfare 2 (which, though it came out 2 or 3 months ago is already no longer carried by Gamestop), a paintball gun, and an iHome for my iPod.
It looks like the snow is letting up a bit, though the Weather Channel says it's supposed to snow throughout the rest of the day. And I really hope that the weather stays cold overnight, schools may be closed tommorow if it stays cold. But it's likely we are going to have a delay, probably 90 minutes or 2 hours.
So yeah, that's about it. I have a sandwich that was supposed to be for lunch at school today (it's saving me money!), and I'm hungry...

Happy New Year everyone.
Today I came home early from school, I caught a cold and that cold made for a pain to concentrate in school. So I don't have much to say about school. I've been wondering to myself, though: Does anybody who reads my blog get tired of me talking about school? Because I think I'm talking about school too much, and not talking enough about other things.
Tomorrow I have to go to Guilford to have a "leadership training session" for Boy Scouts. Yes, I finally have a leadership position in my Troop. I know I am getting Quartermaster (Master of Quarters!) and possibly something else. It felt like forever to get some kind of position like that, but I guess it was my time now.
Today was cold, but yesterday was freezing. In most towns and cities across Connecticut the temperature was a single digit. In my town, the temperature was between 6 and 8 degrees Fahrenheit. Several of my friends had the hair on their heads frozen when they went outside to get on the school bus. I could tell at first sight that my friend's hair had frozen when I first saw him.
So now that the holidays are pretty much over here are some of the things I got for Christmas:
-Worms: Open Warfare 2
-Super Mario Galaxy
-3-in-1 game table (includes pool, ping pong, and air hockey)
-New gaming chair
-A ton of cothes
-The Simpsons Movie
Yeah, I have to say I got most of what I wanted, except I didn't get a paintball gun.
Speaking of paintball, my cousins got new airsoft guns: An AK-74 beta and a G36, and the Deutsche D5K from Goldeneye 007 on the N64! A few days after they got the guns we went to play airsoft with a bunch of our cousins. There was about 5 of us playing airsfoft in the woods.
So, here's what we played with, and how many BB's each gun held(there's an asterisk next to the gun I used):
-AK-74 Beta: 400
-G36: ?
-D5K (really the MP5K): 40-50
-assault rifle with a name I can't remember: 80
-Shotgun*: 12
I'm not a shotgun person in airsoft. The shotgun I used was accurate, yes, but just not my type. I tend to use assault rifles and handguns. My weapon of choice is my AK-47, but that needs repairs. So being stuck with a gun I don't know and with a snmall clip, I was obliterated by rapid BB fire as I was stuck pumping after every shot.
When we were playing "capture the backpack", I was hiding behind a big rock facing my cousins with the AK-74, G36, and MP5K with a shotgun. It was a lose-lose situation for me. When I tried to sneak around the huge rock (I consider it a mini-mountain) that two of my cousins were hiding on as well as the backpack they were guarding, I was ripped with AK-74 fire in the legs at 410 FPS (feet per second). I got two bruises out of that. And as I ran back, my cousin with the D5K lept on top of the rock and opened fire on me and my cousin that was on my team.
That MP5K is so small but very underestimated.
And then while I was trying to scale the mini-mountain I was getting shot at by my own team! Thank goodness I had my puffy jacket on to make all the BBs ricochet away from me.
The next airsoft gun I plan to buy is a MAC11-type gun, like the ZMG 9mm from Goldeneye 007. As for my cousins, they already put in orders for M14 airsoft sniper rifles. The next airsoft war we have, I predict it is going to be with more people and with more guns, including my AK-47. My cousins and friends agree: I better get that AK-47 repaired soon, because I kick butt with it.
I'm getting hungry, and it looks like lunchtime for me!
I think this may be longest entry.
Yay! Party!

Mid-terms start tomorrow for me. Am I nervous? Nope, at least, not for most classes. My mid-terms for tomorrow are in Algebra and Latin. Algebra is one class I am somewhat nervous about. My teacher has a different way of teaching and it's not working for pretty much anyone in my class. Thankfully I've been studying and I'm feeling confident, but only to an extent.
As for Latin, I'm not worried one bit. I have an A+, and the Latin comes easy to me. At first I thought Latin was going to be a lot harder, but it really isn't. Those are the only two classes I have tomorrow, I get out of school early for the whole week.
Now that school is aside, my repair part for my AK-47 airsoft gun has arrived. The only problem: the piece isn't just a tube that gets glued where the original broke, but it's the tube and the part where the BBs are shot out. So, I'll need a pro to put the piece in place.
Recently, I've been wondering about what I want to be when I'm able to get a full-time job. I think I've decided: I want to be a judge! I've always had a strong interest in law, and one of my cousins is also going into that same law area soon, but as a lawyer. I know that you need to be a lawyer first to become a judge, right? So, if anyone here is a judge (civil, criminal, etc.), could you send me a PM that describes what the job is like, what kind of skills are needed, and what judges do other than sit, listen, and ask questions? It would be greatly appreciated and helpful!
I've finally gotten over this cold that I've had for several weeks, so that's gotten me into a good mood for mid-terms.
I'm a bit upset that Brawl has been delayed--again--to March 9. I was really getting excited, after all it isn't too long until February starts. But I'll just have to keep patient and know that this is only to better the game even more. But it is annoying when it has to be delayed twice. Does anyone think that Sakurai and his team may be putting too much into the game to delay it this much? I don't, but it could be a possible reason as to why the game is being delayed so much.
I really want it to snow in my area. The last time snow was in the forecast for my area, it was a predicted 6-10 inches. I woke up in the morning, looked out my window, and saw an ever so sorry-looking dusting of powder. It was a wasted snow day. It's been cold enough, but there hasn't been any rain to turn into snow.

I'm so glad that mid-terms are finally over. Most of the tests were pretty easy with the exception of maybe one or two. The second marking period also closed today, so that means that freshman year of high school is already halfway over. This school year has been moving quick.
The weather has been cold but sunny in my neighborhood. I went to ride my bike the other day but it was too windy to ride around for long. I was a bit disappointed by that.
Two days ago my mom and I were arguing over the subject of how to keyboard. My mom said to keyboard you must be able to key without looking at the keys. I know that's the correct way to keyboard. But I do it as a bit of a hybrid: I look at the keys and then look at the screen. I still type very fast, but my mom kept trying to get me to do it the right way.
I've been getting out of school early all this week, so that's been a bit of relief for mid-terms.
Yesterday I tried Rock Band for the first time. On my first song I kept forgetting to hit the thing that strums the strings. But after that dilemma everything else went quite smooth.
I've been upset with my SNES. I popped in SMW to beat the only level I didn't find every exit in, and when I got to the saves screen, all my data was gone. I was on 95! One less than the last one!

Yesterday was, as you may know, "Super Tuesday", where around 20 states held primaries. Connecticut was one of those states. I couldn't vote, but if i did vote, I know who I would vote for.
Also yesterday, when I got to my period 1B class, my class and I did the usual sit and wait for the teacher to come in. The late bell rings. Still no teacher. 10 minutes later, the teacher still isn't here. At that point everyone takes out their cell phones, PSPs, and one of my friends even took out a tennis ball and a baseball glove, and we started to play catch. It stayed that way until 9:00 am, when the teacher who shares the room with our teacher walks by and notices that my friends and I are playing catch and that everyone else is doing whatever. He swings the door open, asks where the teacher is, and goes to his computer. At the very last minute, a substitute comes in and gives us a packet of work for homework.
Today is also Ash Wednesday, the start of Lent. And for Lent, I'm giving up videogames for forty days. Being the gamer I am, it's a difficult task, but I'm allowed to play a videogame only on Sundays. Fortunately, the Brawl release is on a Sunday, giving me time to enjoy the game the day I get it. Phew.
I had to get rid of the red x in my sig: I just couldn't look at it anymore. Though sad to see it go, I am in a way glad that I no longer have a broken image link in my sig.
Tonight is report card pickup/conferences at my school. I'm not worried about my grades, I know most of them already. I know I have at least one B, and the rest should be As.
Before the gaming stopped today, I made a great advancement in "Enter The Matrix". I was playing around with the PORTKEY.EXE in Hacking when I entered a number that started filling up the screen with letters. At first I was like "WTF is happening?!?!". Then when I read the "Knock, knock" message I got a little chill in my spine. But as I progressed the nervousness disappeared, but re-appeared when I got the operator's message about how the file I sent him was a Trojan and that it was corrupting the entire system. Once again, the operator was really only playing and the nervousness disappeared. Then I unlocked the special sword weapon.
Turned out the only thing I had to be nervous about was getting the blue solution on the puzzle in hacking, remembering how close I came to getting the blue solution when I first played the puzzle. For those of you that ask "Why would you get nervous"?, if I got the blue solution the line would be traced and I'd have to try to kill the tracer in near twenty seconds. If I don't, I lose all progress there.
While I stop playing games, I'm starting to focus more on exercising. I don't have a structured plan yet, I haven't worked out how to fit it in to my schedule. But I know I'm probably going to be watchiong some of my mom's old Tae-Bo workout tapes.

It's actually snowing pretty good today. I was out after school playing bouncing a tennis ball at my chimney and whacking it back with a tennis racket when it begun to snow :omg:. It actually stuck to the ground and in no time the snow was getting in my eyes and I decided to go inside.
For Boy Scouts, I'm going to merit badge college and taking the following badges:
-Citizenship in the World (E)
-Law
-Communications (E)
The ones with (E) are Eagle Scout required badges, and I need a total of four to move up to Star Scout. The only one I have is Swimming, but I'm doing Lifesaving this summer, and if I get all three merit badge college badges that brings me up to four Eagle badges.
I have all next week off from school, so I'll be using that time for some merit badge requirements.

Last night I got my new feeding tube for my airsoft gun in place, but with all the work me and my cousins did, the gun itself was reduced to pieces no longer than 12". Amazing, isn't it? What's even more amazing, my only job was to manage the screws that we un-screwed. But, being that there were so many itty bitty screws that all looked the same, I naturally lost track of what screw went where. Needless to say, the gun wasn't fully re-assembled. But I didn't lose any screws, and even found a spring in the process, which turned out to be more important than I thought.
Next Saturday is my last Merit Badge College day, and I'm using the week off from school to work on my requirements. I only need four more for Communications (an Eagle required badge), three or four more for Citizenship in the World (another Eagle required) and I'll be clearing 10 requirements for Law in one swoop if I pass the test next week.
Just a few hours ago, I was outside bouncing the tennis ball off the chimney again when I created a new concept: I angled my racket, tossed the ball up, and hit the ball upward as it came down. The ball rockets upward like a missile and then forward, flying clear over my house without touching the roof and landing on my side of the yard!

I am very, very psyched for Brawl right now. It's only a week away now, and I'm looking forward to being able to brawl with my cousins and friends. I think that all the delays were worth it.
All this week in school, the sophomores are going to be taking the CAPT exam and freshmens and everyone else who isn't taking it (from what I've heard) are going to be kept in homeroom and be doing workshops. It wouldn't be fair to give everyone except the sophomores a week off from school, so this week is going to be pretty interesting.
Freshman year is going by fast for me.
Well, my neighborhood finally got a decent amount of snow this past week. We got somewhere between 4-6 inches, and it was perfect for snowball-making. I spent my time clumping snow together in massive mounds from the hoods of the cars and then hurling them at my sister. It was all in good fun, though.
And, my AK-47 airsoft gun is now fully re-assembled and better than ever. I got to use it last Sunday when playing in the woods. Though it didn't stand up to the power of the other guns, I still managed to get people out.

It's finally time for tennis season: I was the first student to sign up for my high school's tennis team. I can't wait for tryouts and stuff to begin. I also had to get a physical to be able to play, and I happened to have an appointment right after school that day.
I expected a quick, routine check-up. Well, it certainly wasn't routine: I ended up having to get a booster shot and another vaccine. Then I had my finger pricked, which is never enjoyable for me. After the appointment I felt fine. But today in school one of the shot sites turned into a bulge, and a really soft and sensitive one. I figured that was the extent of it, until I started getting sick in Keyboarding.
And the extent of my sickness was cold-like symptoms: sore throat, dry nose, etc. I doubt I'll get any worse.
I literally just got a call from Gamestop around two minutes ago to tell me they'll be selling Brawl Saturday at midnight. And, if I traded in two select Wii games, I could buy it for $9.99! But I already have a deposit and a reserve, so I'll keep my Wii games. I don't know if I'll go to the midnight event, considering my reserve, but I can only play video games on Sundays and I really want to play Brawl with my cousins. I'll probably pick it up in the morning.
I'm super-psyched for Brawl, now that school's out for the weekend. But not only is Sunday the start (or end?) of daylight savings, but I also have a two-hour long rehearsal for some church activity. I'm going to try and unlock as many characters and get the best possible feel for the game.

Remember when I said that a cold was going to be the worst I was going to get from that shot? Well, I was very, very wrong. I ended up getting a fever, cold, and upset stomach. I've been out of school for three days now, an dI was at the height of the fever on March 9, Brawl's release. I didn't get to play the game, as much as I wanted to, until Monday. And even then I could only play for about fourty minutes tops before I got too dizzy. And because of that I unlocked very little, but did unlock:
-Luigi
-Marth
-Ness
-Snake
-Captain Falcon
-Mario Bros.
-Mushroomy Kingdom
-Luigi's Mansion
-Super Mario 2
For being sick, I say I got a fair bit unlocked.
Today, my fever is gone, and I'll be back in school tomorrow. Once I'm absent for two or more days from school, I just don't want to go back at all. I'm going to miss being on the Internet and sleeping late.
I've been spending a lot of time (though I don't know why) watching YouTube poops and other videos. Some videos I came across were actually funny, while others were blah. Too much Mama Luigi, indeed.

Yesterday I got my braces off my bottom teeth. I now wear a retainer all the time except for brushing my teeth and eating. It's not comfy, but it isn't uncomfortable. It's really hard to avoid flipping the retainer with my tongue, it's just a bad habit, and something I figured I could have fun with. But I need to stop it.
My school mailed out progress reports, and I got mine yesterday. But, oddly, there was only one teacher that left a comment, and no others. It was a good comment anyways, though. However, I know I have a B- in both Spanish and Algebra. I know I have an A+ in phy-chem, but not sure about other classes. I don't really worry about the other classes, though. I feel confident.
Third quarter closes in two weeks. It seems to have zoomed by.
My progress in Brawl has been slow, but sure. The only characters I haven't unlocked are Toon Link, Wolf, and Jigglypuff, and I don't quite know all the stages. Then again, I haven't really been able to play every day.

Yesterday I was an official starter for my tennis game against North Haven, one of the best teams. I played doubles, and lost both sets against one North Haven doubles team. Just about everyone else on my high school's tennis team had the same results, but we did win two matches in the end.
Science Fair has started up in my school, and just when I thought I dodged the bullet for the year. This year, I am going to test what type of material best blocks magnetic waves. Though the actual project is still a work-in-progress, that is going to be my topic, I still need to work on the specifics.
About a month after I really was able to play Brawl, I have unlocked every character and stage. I know I now have over 500 stickers, and more than 250 trophies.
And finally, spring is in the air... two days ago it was sunny and warm, with temperatures near 60 degrees. Yesterday it was windy, but the temperatures are probably going to stay above 40 degrees for the season. It's also been rainy, but "April showers bring May flowers".
I haven't been able to be here lately because I have been working on so many different assignments and tasks and going places, doing things, I have been kept busy. I still am, but I figured it would be good to make a journal entry.
Now I need to go finish a few more things, namely some yardwork. Raking and the like.

I just recently realized that I'm only two days away from being here for one full year! I can't wait, I've been thinking of a few good CTs to use.
Today, we had a fire alarm in second period, making it the fourth time the fire alarm has gone off this month. Three out of the four alarms were real alarms. The one that was a drill was because we didn't do so well for a real alarm. Today's alarm makes it the second bomb threat called in to our school this month, the first was April 1 (surprise much?). The other real alarm was some kind of gas leak.
I got my report card over spring break, and once again I was content. One B+ in Algebra kept me from getting high honors, but I still received honors. I'm hoping I can get high honors on this last quarter of my freshman year. So many memories, my favorite so far was the time at the beginning of the school year, I managed to find some friends I could have lunch with and talk freely and comfortably about videogames. I was only sitting with two other people, but they were (and still are) great company.
Yesterday my high school's tennis team beat our rival high school. That makes us 2-5 for the season. This is probably the best the tennis team has done in years.
It's actually hot today. When I was picked up from a school meeting at 3:00, it was 78 degrees. It wasn't deathly hot, it was still nice out. And because of the heat I was able to make my favorite thick milkshake: chocolate chip cookie dough milkshake! I made about 4 cups, and I only have a little left over now.
Also over spring break, my family bought a German Shepherd puppy. Our new puppy is 4-months-old, who's name is "Quex" (pronounced "Q"). If there's one thing I have learned about our new puppy (who seems to be completely perfect living with us), is that he can be very lazy. When I put him outside, all he will do is lay on the steps waiting for the door to open again. But that seems to be happening less now. And for a puppy that is used to running freely on a farm, he's been dong super well on a leash.
Another thing over spring break, I bought Pokemon Pearl, the first Pokemon game I have bought. I have to admit I've been spending a lot of time playing it, less than ten days after I bought it I already have 7 Gym Badges.
Dinner is going to be ready soon, and mom's making delicious chicken cutlets. I can hearing them sizzling in the pan right now...mmm....

For Mother's Day, I (and several others) bought my mom tickets to a concert coming soon to Connecticut featuring Cheap Trick, Journey, and another band. It was funny at first, because she was almost upset that we spent so much to get her the tickets (and the show was sold out), but in the end she was super happy.
I also got my Q3 report card, and I am once again content. All my grades were in the A range except for a B+ in Algebra. Speaking of school, tomorrow I am picking out my classes for sophomore year. Freshman year really did fly by. So far I am choosing to take:
-Honors English 2
-Honors Biology 1/ (possible other class)
-Honors US History 1
-Latin 2
-Personal Finance
-Intro to Public Health (elective)
-Honors Geometry/(Possible other class)
-French 1/Medical Spanish (undecided)
I'm trying to get as high a QPA as possible. Honors classes=more QPA, and more QPA=better class rank and possible honors diploma.
I was really busy this weekend, juggling between two projects. Both are finished, and one has been turned in. One of my projects counts as extra credit, so I am getting a break from the new project in Phy-Chem, where we need to build pasta bridges under quite tight limitations.
Chinese food is what's for dinner tonight...yum.

Our family has decided that it is time we open our pool for the summer. We've had several weeks now that had temperatures in the 60s and 70s, so we figured now is a good time. However, the weather is pretty bad today so we're not going to do it today. The weather currently is cloudy and (ugh) humid. But it's quite cool out.
I've picked my courses that I will be taking sophomore year. I really want a class rank in the top 5, so I'm taking difficult courses sophomore and junior year, and getting an easy senior year because by senior year QPA (which determines rank) is no longer scored. Here's my deicded schedule:
-Honors English 2
-Honors Geometry/Algebra 2 (double)
-Honors US History 1
-Honors Biology/Introduction to Public Health (double)
-Medical Spanish (an honors-level Spanish 3 class)
-Honors Latin 2
Basically the same as the previous mentioned.
I won't be taking any PE classes until senior year, or Personal Finance classes because those are low-level, easy classes with low QPA rates.
And finals start June 13th. This school year is coming to close.

I just got back from a campout in Bethel, Maine. It was alright, but the main focus of the campout was canoeing. I didn't have a problem with that, but we had to canoe 15 miles in one day. I managed to canoe 15 miles successfully. What I did:
-6/26: Set up our tents and established our camp. Slacked off and relaxed most of the day.
-6/27: Canoed 15 miles. I had quite the canoe partner: he would not shut up at all, and he complained a lot. I ended up cooking some of the dinner that night, and I went swimming.
-6/28: Fortunately I did not have to canoe 8 miles today thanks to evil marshmallows that got to me overnight. I spent most of my morning and afternoon in town getting food and whatnot, and cooking the soup for the canoers. Even though today was a shorter route, a lot of people complained and some even ended up getting sick while canoeing.
-6/29: Packed up and left. It was pouring rain when we were packing up.
Now I'm home, and for some reason I'm not in a good mood. I also start tennis camp tomorrow, and I know I am not going to like the instructor one bit. Fortunately it's only for three days.
My Nintendo DS and four games (NSMB, Mario Party DS, MvDK 2, and Pokemon Pearl) were all stolen from me. Unfortunately I was not able to track down the theif and am now stuck with having to replace $260 worth of stolen items. I'm more upset about the games, because I will have to start all over again, not easy when:
-Having a "2-star" file in NSMB
-Completing the entire game and obtaining over 30 silver medals in MvDK 2
-Having every minigame in Mario Party DS
-Catching two legendaries (Palkia and Azelf), almost completing the Sinnoh Pokedex and having all eight gym badges in Pokemon Pearl
It really disappoints me.
I ranked up to Star Scout at our last Court of Honor. On July 12 I am going to Maine again for a whole week of camping. This year is going to be extremely difficult as I know I will have to do Lifesaving (ES required badge) and Motor boating, two water badges when I do not want to spend that much time in (or on) the water. Lifesaving is extremely important though.

Dang, I'm tired. This entry could be a bit of a letdown but I'm way too tired right now. I went camping in Maine and got back Saturday (the ride home was hell). I got four merit badges there along with two achievements:
-Lifesaving
-Environmental Science
-Motorboating
-Fishing
The first two are Eagle Scout required. My achievements:
-Paul Bunyan Axman (meaning I am qualified to use axes and the like)
-Master Angler
*Yawn*
I'm going to bed.
Goodnight.
Or, good morning.
Whatever. I'm going to sleep.

So I finally came back to this website after a long time gone. It's nice to be back.
My birthday was August 31st, I turned 15. I got a new laptop and a few other things, namely a DVD, cell phone cover, and new earbuds (which I really needed).
School has finally started up, I'm a sophomore this year. A lot of my friends are in most of my classes, and I'm doing well (so far!) in most of my classes.
I haven't gotten any new games lately, except for Star Fox: Assault, which I've been hooked on the past couple weeks. And really, everything's been...the same. I feel like nothing has really changed.
I'm hungry, once again. Well, sort of.
Also, two of the games that were stolen have been replaced: Pokemon Pearl and MvDK2. It's going to be a long road back to my former status, especially with Pokemon Pearl.
