Chapter 1: The unexpected welcoming.

It had been five months since I left that place and I have been wondering around. Today I have found a little village about 20 miles away from the ruins of my own village unlike most people from other villages who questioned me these people let me in. The Village Elder Roca was a kind old man who let me stay at his home as long as I need to after I explained to him I had been wondering around for five months. One day we both gotten into a normal coverstion like we usually do in the mornings.

"So you are one of the sons of the Elemental Demon?" Roca asked me.

"Yes I am but unlike my father I'm not a mass killer." I answered.

"I see. You are calm young man." He replied.

"Might I ask do you have any grandchildern?" I asked him trying to change the subject.

"Why yes I do. I have a grandaughter who lives with me, she is about your age." Roca answered.

"Can I meet her?" I asked him.

He laughed a little before replied, he knew something I didn't so I waited for him to answer the question before saying anything else. He smiled some as he looked at me again then he gotten up out of the chair he was sitting in.

"Why of coruse you can just follow me outside, if I remember she might be in the graden." Roca said making his way towords the door.

"Ok." I said happily.

I gotten out of the chair I was sitting in and followed Roca to the door, he opened the door and he began to walk outside. I followed him afterwords trying to catch up with him because he was in better shape than an elderly person I met before, he gave me a warm smile as we gotten closer towords the graden. Once we gotten there I noticed a girl working hard, there was alot of flowers that were being grown, this was the first thing I saw in my life other than the life or death battle Manain always but me through. I was speakless it was as if walking through a heaven for the first time, the girl looked up to see Roca and myself. Her face was bright yet she was pretty, my heart was pounding as I looked at her, she gave of a kind hearted smile which brighten up my day. I returned the smile as she started to walk towords us, she then hugged Roca then she looked back towords me.

"Hey grandpa who is this person?" she asked.

"This is young man's name is Chao." Roca replied.

"Hello Chao my name is Hauhi." she said.

"Hello, too you Hauhi, ugh might I ask what were you doing in your garden?" I asked nervously.

"Flowers that my late mother gave me." Hauhi replied.

"Oh, they look nice they are the nicest things I have seen in my life." I replied

"What you never seen flowers before?" she asked.

"No I haven't, my father but me through training so much and my mother died before she planted her own." I said depressedly.

"Do you want to talk about it Chao?" Hauhi asked.

"Not no I will explain it to you later on once I know you are ready to handly the truth." I replied.

She stared at me for a moment then looked back a Roca, with a smile he head back towords the house with Hauhi behind him. I started to make my way back slowly the past began to flood my mind I only ingored it as this might be the happest time of my life. I put a smile on my face and hurried back, Roca and Hauhi looked to see me catching up they laughed alittle to see me run. Then we all went back inside, it was only had been only about a few months since I met Hauhi but we were friends at first. One day while I was helping her in the garden she ask me a strange question.

"Do you like me at all?" Hauhi asked.

"I do why do you ask?" I said blushing.

"Because I like you Chao..." Hauhi said.

I huged her for the first time I every hug anyone it was so nice my face went completely red but it was a nice feeling. She garbbed me and her face was also red but she was enjoying it as much as I was. When we let go we both began to laughing I fell on my back it was the first time I every flet love, it was a good feeling she smiled at me and fell next to me.

"I hope this last forever Chao, your not a bad person really I love you so much too." She said happily.

"I do to, I hope that we never leave each other." I said happily.

Then came Christmas time shortly after we both admiting are feeling for each other, my present was a neckleace she had been keeping away waiting for the right time to give it up. She smiled as she handed it to me, I could help but to be shocked as I never gotten anything nice before.

"Thank you Hauhi." I said.

"Your welcome, I want you to give it to someone who you think is speical if I every leave you Chao." Hauhi replied.

"I will, I pormise you that." I answered.

Shortly after Christmas the rest of the year went by quickly this was the year of happiness for myself, but as most happiness is they must be a price that must be paided and for me it was Hauhi.

Chapter 3: Untold turn of events

It was the day that I would lose everything, love, my humanity, and my happniess. I was out looking for something that could help treat wounds while Hauhi was out in the garden planting more flowers when she heard the scream of Roca. Hauhi looked and saw that her grandfather was killed by my Shadow, she didn't know what to say as the words wouldn't come out looking in horror. Shadow Chao smiled at her with a wicked smile which made her feel more afarid than usual, Shadow Chao rose the dark Zanmato which was covered in blood unable to defend herself she was slaughtered like a pig. By the time I returned my shadow stood there smiling licking the blood on his blade, the two corposes on the ground were Roca's and Hauhi's my eyes widened fear shot down my spine.

"Haha they weren't a challange the old man stood there a got sliced and the girl begged me to stop but I killed her anyways." Shadow Chao said.

"No, not again this cant't be happening damn you, I'm going to make you pay you heartless fiend!" I roared.

"Bring it weakling your just going to die anyways." Shadow Chao said.

I looked around and noticed a figure near the large hills but couldn't make out who it was then the person left. Shadow Chao charged at me blindly I quickly withdrew my weapon blocking his attacks. Anger and hate filled me no as I couldn't forgive the heartless feind who kill Hauhi and Roca energy began to build withen the Zanmato. Shadow Chao looked confused for a moment then realizing that I was going to destory him.

"Die Thundara Blitz!" I roared.

"Fine then fool Shadow Blitz." Shadow Chao said with a laugh.

The Zanmato shot off sparks of lighting along the sharp side of the sword I charged at him blindly as rage and hate build. Shadow Chao's Zanmato turned even more darker as the darkness around it grew stronger. He went after me in a complete rage trying to kill me he swung his sword at me I blocked it slicing him in the side dark colored blood came out of the wound as it seemed familer. My shadow stared angerly at me with his dark eyes ready to kill someone but he knew he must escape before I show my ture power.

"The Next time we meet I will make sure that you die." He said angerly.

"I'll make sure to kill you and who you follow!" I snapped back.

"My master is Zo and you will never be able to kill her. Goodbye for now Chao Fist you want be so lucky next time." Shadow Chao said before fading away in the shadows.

After Shadow Chao faded away I looked at the two dead bodies I lost more people that I cared for tears flooded my eyes. The lose of both Roca and Hauhi brought much grif on me I swear to myself to protect the next person I cared for even if it would kill me. Then the words of my father echoed into my head "Protect the one you care for no matter what even if you must die to do it." were his words that echoed in my head. I searched for an shovel to dig the graves for Roca and Hauhi once I found it begining to dig near a sight where both of them would be layed to rest. Six long hours of diging before I layed the bodies it the large grave pits with two gravestones made of rocks. After throwing the dirt back in the holes I place the rocks next to the graves allowing the tears to flood out. Slowly getting up I stopped crying and held Hauhi's necklace in my head gripping it as I made that promise I will never break I walked away continuing to find a place called home.
