Cheats are not working onany games no matter who the manufacturer is. I have been following the instructions to the letter.I started the single player game with the correct drive and folder path. Then I pressed ~ to display the console window and entered the appropriate cheat code.Except for "maplist", all other commands are not recognized. In the Target area before starting the game, I tried clicking OK or Apply but that only got me the message," The name +set Etc........ in the target box is not valid. Make sure the path and file name are correct". I stopped clicking OK and Apply and went directly to the game. Cheats are not recognized. Am I being locked out by a program in the backgroung? Is there a solution to this because certain sections of games are so difficult that it is time to move on.

You know, different games have different cheat codes built-in. It would help if we knew what game you were talking about and what cheat codes you were trying to use.

I agree, different games come with different consoles, come with different creators.
