I've noticed that recently, more and more topics are descending into SPAMapaloozas. As we all should know, SPAM is a bad, bad thing. It makes a forum stupid and worthless, much like the messages themselves. We don't want this forum to be stupid and worthless, do we? So please, next time you intend to make a post, please think it out clearly, and refrain from posting at all if you think it could possibly be SPAM. SPAM includes (but is not limited to): answering topics that have already been answered; bumping dead threads; bumping your own threads if they haven't been answered in a certain period of time; and one word posts. Quite a few of you might want to re-read the rules, possibly several times.
In short, STOP BEING PSYDUCKING IDIOTS. If there's a probability that your post won't contribute to the topic at hand, then don't post at all.
Update time: apparently the message isn't getting through. So, until further notice, this forum will be put on Zero Tolerance for SPAM.
What does this mean? If you are a first time user and slip up a bit, you'll get a caution as normal. However, should you have a caution against you (or if the SPAM is flagrant enough), you will be punished in the following manner:
First SPAM warning: one week forum block from date of warning
Second SPAM warning: one month forum block from date of warning
Third SPAM warning: permanent forum block
Be advised that you will not be retroactively punished for prior warnings.
IMPORTANT EDIT: Please remember that minimodding is SPAM. If you have a problem with a post or thread and want the moderator to know about it, please use the "Alert a Moderator" button instead of posting "that was spam you'll get warned" or something in that vein.
