"Do you have any experience with Magitech cannons?"

"No, but do they have the basic mechanical setup as the bikes? Pull a trigger, make it fire up?"

"Magitech cannons feed off of elements. Hence, we can have our elemental beams be either water, air, or whatever is inside Absolution."

"Still have any magma left?"

"Yes, I do. However, it might overheat the cannons. We can use it in small amounts and mix it with air."

"Or with water, and make giant anti-craft rock shells. Think about it, it would pierce their armor so quickly."

"True. But the steel might deflect it. Anyway, I hope that we won't need to use them."

"What if we only mixed them with a small bit of water, just cake the outside to cool down the cannons? I hope we don't have to, either."

"You just gave me an idea. We could use lava to heat the metal, water to cool it, then rock to puncture the weak metal. How does that sound?"

"Knocking down the structural integrity. Very good idea. Heck, we might even pierce the hull of the airship that way. But, we need a way to make the lava tacky, so it sticks. It'll just slip off the steel at that velocity."

"Or, it might be just enough contact to heat it. Or even..."

Rengal thought for a bit.

"If we can just hit the crew, we might be able to make a blockade runner out of that thing."

"What, steal the airship? Are you mad? There has to be 100 plus men on that thing."

"No, I meant one boat in the blockade. One of the boats cannot see another boat, nor hear them, so we will be fine."

"It would be nice to have a Servan boat. Alright, I'm in. Are we going to do this Swashbuckler style?"

"I suppose we should simply invade one from behind. But we need to stay behind. Attacking from the side or front leaves us open to their cannons."

"Full speed ahead, then."

"Er...what do you mean? We aren't going to fight right now. We are going back to my hometown."

OOC: These guys are Native American tribal, not African tribal, FYI. Same skin color, as well.

"Oh. I see. Where do you live?"

OOC: I kinda guessed that. Native Americans were actually very organized. They actually created civilization on their own, with relatively no influence from the rest of the world. Amazing, huh? They were one of the most stable civilizations in the history of the world.

"So, I'm guessing we're getting off the boat again?"

"We won't be able to attack them. They will ambush us because they will think that we are Serva. Don't worry, they know the human language."

"Oh, yeah, that was my biggest worry. Ambush? Shouldn't you tell them we're peaceful before they have the chance to capture us?"

"They never take chances. Although, I will admit that us lacking Serva armor might make them not attack us."

"Well, I suppose we should go there as quickly as possible."

"It is a two-day walk on foot. Are you ready for that?"

"If it means helping these people, yes."

"Okay. Sleep in the hammock tonight, and tomarrow we go inland."

Jarek made his way to a lone hammock, a large, wool model, and fell asleep after a few minutes of deep contemplation.

Jarek was awoken rather early.

"We're leaving. It is 2 A.M., but we need to get there quickly."

"Huh? Oh, right..."

Jarek grudgingly gets up, retrieving Gathol and Hist.

"Oh, and we'll replace those with Alexan weapons. Much better."

[Addicted to Oi!]

"Uh, f*ck no. These have been with me for most of my life. So, I'll check those other weapons out, but I like these."

[Aura]

"Those are still really cheap blades, and the ones before transformation could be fixed into something better."

Jarek growled.

"Don't EVER insult my father's craftsmanship. These are fine blades, you insufferable twit."

"I meant the blades that your father made before they were turned into Gathol and Hist."

"You said Gathol and Hist were fake, so that would mean they are the same blades."

[Aura]

"Gathol and Hist are the weaker versions. Honestly, Gathol and Hist are compact dirt and paint."

"So, what? I'm keeping these blades the way they are."

[Aura]

"You're fighting with compact dirt? Your choice."

The plains were extensive. It looked the same wherever Jarek looked.

"...Fine, I just want the original blades back. Those were very special to me."

"I expected as much. However, you might want an Alexan weapon. They are very high quality."

"Yeah, sure."

Jarek was still a bit fumed. Those swords meant a lot to him.

"Your anger is not needed. Don't make Kemi cause Shane to enter Drow Epic."

"Kemi doesn't run Drow Epic, though. Just, be careful with them, 'kay?"

[Aura]

"Well, don't make Shane come into the story somehow. Now, run. It will make us get there faster."

Jarek started to run, to where he didn't know, but he did anyway.

They ran all day, but night had fallen.

"We'll have to set up camp here."

[Aura]

"Eh, We didn't bring anything."

Rengal fell asleep on the grass.

"...That was smart."

Jarek fell down on the ground.

[Aura]

Jarek woke up with spears lining his head and neck. It was still night.

"The welcoming party. How thoughtful," he said with a gulp.

Jarek was already preparing Holy Aura if there was trouble.

"Hold, Guard. He is an ally."

The people stepped back a bit, and Rengal walked forward.

"Sorry about that. They took us. We are two miles from Shri'kann."

"Ah, good."

Jarek raised his hands to show that he hold no weapons.

[Aura]

OOC: The dress looks like triangles and that crap in loose-fitting clothing.

"I have told them about us. They are very pleased. The chief wishes to speak with us."

"Well, I suppose they should lead us there..." said Jarek slowly, still a bit weary of his rude awakening.

"Follow them. I have some recon to do."

Rengal ran off, leaving Jarek with the guards.

"So, should we head toward your village, now?"

[Aura]

They nod, and Jarek follows them. They soon come to a very large village of huts.

"I'm supposed to see your chief, can you lead me to him?"

[Aura]

Jarek is lead to a rather large hut.

Jarek walks in, and looks around.

"I'm here to see the chief of this fine village."

"Yes?"

An old man looks at Jarek, and strokes his beard while holding a cliche staff for some reason.

"Your villagers said you wanted to see me. I'm the man that wants to help your people fend off the Servan invaders."

[Aura]

"Ah, yes. Jarek, is it? It is odd for a foreigner to want to help our poor tribe defeat the horrible Serva. What can you provide for us?"

"Weapons, fighters, and supplies. My group's resources are vast, but, alas, they are not infinite or free. If we are to help you, we will need just enough payment to buy your supplies."

[Aura]

"Did you say payment for our supplies? What do you mean? And what group? You mean Rengal? He might be a decent fighter, but he isn't a force..."

"Sorry, let me explain. I come from a group of fighters, led by a man named Drel. Part of this group is Rengal, who could take out more than you think. And yes, we have to have payment for the supplies we are going to trade you if we are to give you more."

"So...you are buying things that we cannot get? Interesting. And I have heard of Drel. He is the vice-captain of Calmera."

"I see...apparently, emerald ore is easy to find, even after it gets deleted."

"Yes, he went on many missions. He has a girlfriend, you know."

"Haha, that's a funny joke."

Jarek was a little bitter, as he has committment problems, or when he does want to commit, something gets in the way. Like moving away, and losing the girl's phone number. Or finding out the girl is one of those ultra annoying pop-queen, preppy upstart, high voice, desperate last-resort girl...

OOC: That's the one I was telling you about on Gaia about 6 months ago.

"I'm serious."

OOC: Lauren. She was...like every preppy girl at the school. EXACTLY like every preppy girl there.

"Oh, yes, I'm sure. I don't remember him even MEETING a girl, except for one he completely hated/was apathetic about."

"He had a secret one that he didn't tell people about. Anyway, Sir Jarek, I hereby offer you control of 300 spearmen and 50 archers."

"Haha, Starlight," says Jarek in his best impression of Phil Ken Sebben (WHY OH WHY DID THEY KILL THAT SHOW?!?).

"Well, thank you. I shall try to find Drel and Rengal, and decide on our next course of action."

Jarek ran outside the village, and tried to contact the others. But, he had no idea how to.

Dammit, where are those guys?

"They are currently at another village, a barracks of sorts."

Jarek turned to see Drel.

Jarek smiled.

"Well, thank you. It's good to see a familiar face. Are you going that direction?"

[Aura]

"Yes. The three of us were assigned 300 spearmen and 50 archers."

[Addicted to Oi!]

"Each of us? That's amazing that they can spare that amount of manpower at any given moment."

[Aura]

"Most of the Alexan people grow up to be hunters for the women and children, who stay at home."

[Addicted to Oi!]

"...That seemed very trivial and random, I have to say."

[Aura]

"It was to explain why their forces are so large."

[Addicted to Oi!]

"Well, it seemed a bit of a random reason."

[Aura]

"You know what I mean. There are thousands of Alexan hunters. Giving up a little over one thousand isn't that big of a deal."

"Yes, I know what you mean, I'm just saying there were better and more direct ways of saying it."

Drel sighs, then runs to the east.

Jarek follows him, trying to pry out a few pieces of advice about leadership.

"Yes? Is there something that you want from me?"

"How do you gain the respect of your battle-mates?"

[Aura]

"Do you mean fellow fighters, or fighters under your command?"

[Addicted to Oi!]

"Well, both. I've always worked alone."

[Aura]

"To earn the respect of fellow fighters, show great courage in battle. Stay calm, and overall help your cause. As odd as it sounds, earning more kills gives you greater respect. As for the people under your control, be a good role-model. Control them well, and make your requests reasonable."
