"Yeah, really adds something, doesn't it?" he yelled as he slashed up another tentacle, making it bleed a bit.

Rengal slashed through the final tentacle.

"Honestly, having a Legend Blade makes things easier."

"Bah, someone will fix it. YOU!"

Jarek yelled over at a lone sailer, one with long black hair and a red overcoat.

"Fix the boat!"

"Okay."

The sailor began his repairs.

Jarek walked up to the captain.

"We almost there?"

"I am not a pirate. I am a captain of a mercenary squadren from Calmera."

"Ooh, you were promoted...I mean, shut up. You are-wow, that's a cool sword."

Drel pulled out his spear.

"This spear? It is called Seivi, named after the island where I grew up."

"Wait, woah-woah-woah. Only one cool dude with a spear allowed from Seivi. I believe THAT'S the true reason you were deleted. Soleo was better, and you were deemed obsolete."

"Actually, for a few months, I was going to be the main character of the Illuyad book series. I even have a huge backstory."

"Ha, Fyre is way cooler, and Rolicial is more interesting. And Valreki's a f*cking angel. You lose."

"Yes, and Valreki planned for me to become the mercenary leader of Illuyad."

"Why? Fyre was my very first RP character. His name was not original, and he fought with claws. Claws."

"Why is Vierra>all? Just curious. I mean, she doesn't even have a profile."

"Vierra>all because she is the quintessential all-powerful, yet silent type. And she's a girl. The silent, power types are always the best, in any RPG."

"And, you have never seen her face. So, she might be ugly, or she might be beautiful."

"Ah, yes I have. You posted her drawing back her hood once. She has purple hair."

"No, it is blue. And her face is very pale, but she is very beautiful."

Jarek started plotting out their course, finding they were heading a bit too far north, towards the Sea of Demons.

"Stop telling us what we are doing wrong."

Drel walked over to Rengal, and told him about the problem. Rengal changed course.

"Wait, I'm doing something wrong because I took initiative and found the problem, only to be yelled at and have this dude actually tell you the problem...and got results?!?"

"Life isn't fair. Go away."

Drel began working even harder on the hole.

"Oh, I didn't notice you were working on the hole. Fair trade-off, I suppose, but let me help you with that."

Jarek starts carting away pieces of splintered wood, and brings Drel some new nails from the hold.

"You really should be more careful with your magic spells. You could have killed somebody that was belowdecks."

"It was split-second, I'll be more careful next time."

OOC: Did you just get a warning for sig size?

"Feel lucky that it did not strike the bottom."

OOC: No, about a year ago. I was talking about that, and saying how McCloud's was too big. For some reason, I still have those guidelines on.

"Yeah, I guess I am," said Jarek with a laugh, secretly getting angry at the constant criticism.

OOC2: Farmer's Markets are the coolest places ever.

OOC: We have one every Tuesday. This guy kept talking for twenty minutes about his pans. My feet hurt.

"Stop saying things and do something."

OOC: Pampered Chef doesn't count, those are lame. I'm talking about the original "Party". Tubaware.

Jarek gritted his teeth, and started hauling away more wood. He twice "accidently" hit Drel in the head with a stray board.

OOC: It was the Cold Stove. Magnets and crap.

"You really need to stop hitting me. I am the leader of a mercenary squadren, and I can get my allies to come up here and throw you overboard."

OOC: Haha, that's like the ultimate pathetic one. It's not even useful stuff.

"You need to stop criticising what I do. It was a mistake."

"I know you did it for a reason. You hate me because I am not 'good enough' for an annoying ass such as yourself."

Jarek growled at the man.

"I was joking, you insufferable tool of a man. What kind of great 'Mercenary Leader' goes on a boat, anyway, pathetic simpleton?"

"This was a covert operation, and the dragons were not secret enough."

"...Starlight was way nicer, douche."

Jarek retires to his Captain's Quarters, and hopes to continue with his story after this small little boat ride.

The boat arrives at a large volcano. Lava is running down the sides, and there is a dark storm in the sky. The rain is hard.

Jarek runs over to Rengal.

"Alzorane is quite dynamic, isn't it?"

[Aura]

"It is. Anyway, I hired a mercenary group from Calmera to help us. Their leader is Drel Kalvor. Have you met him?"

"Oh, yes. He's a nice fellow, very dedicated to his work," said Jarek without a shred of sarcasm.

[Aura]

"Don't be sarcastic. He told me what you said. He is actually a rather talented fighter. You'll see soon enough."

"I'm not being sarcastic, Rengal, I actually find him to be dedicated, even if he IS like Valreki's normal characters, silent, edgy, and judgmental."

[Aura]

"Only Valreki and Drel are like that. Soleo is...different, Fyre is a protector of the ones he loves, Rolicial is fun and outgoing, and Vierra is simply...she isn't too well developed."

"Rolicial and Fyre are cool, I will give you that. And Valreki can be fun, but only when he has the 'Carnane-Shane' dynamic with, well, Carnane of all people. And Vierra makes up for it by being the most powerful being in all of Illuyad, or angel, not sure which is more accurate."

"Vierra is the most powerful angel. She has very little physical power, but her magical abilities are beyond belief."

"Oh, I know that."

[Aura]

"Anyway, we need to get into that volcano. Drel's scouts have found the cave. Let's go."

Rengal began running.

Jarek, used to the quick sprints, ran after the man, keeping his head low to cut down on his air resistance.

OOC: I can't decide if this is a serious RP or a completely new Pokedex...

OOC: I'm trying to make it serious.

Also, Andi asked me on Wi-Fi if I was gay for you. :O_O:

"Through here!"

Rengal leaped into a hole in the ground. It was too dark for Jarek to see.

OOC: That's odd. And it doesn't seem that bad, but that little Drel thing seemed reminiscent.

"Dammit! Holy Aura!"

Jarek surrounded himself with a bright, opaque bubble that would light his way as well as protect him from any of the elements he encountered or the fall.

The fall was about ten feet. Rengal was close by the hole. It was the start of a long cave.

"Is this an old vent?"

Jarek was looking at the obsidian lining the walls.

[Aura]

"It seems like that. Be cafeful."

OOC: I feel no sympathy for Sean Connery. He was being completely immature and stupid, and he pissed off a lot of people. I could almost understand him doing it the first time, it being my first time to the T-Dome as well, but he kept on it and kept on it.

Jarek walked down the path, right next to Rengal.

"So, are they using Prage's remains and channeling the volcano's power to carry on the ressurection? Seems like the simplest and easiest thing to do."

[Aura]

OOC: I see...

"They are using the power of the volcano. I think they are trying to get his soul. Too bad that the body of him has been destroyed, and he would just be another person."

"But wait. If they only get his soul, wouldn't that make him more powerful? I mean, they could harbor him in any shell they pleases, instead of his weak mercenary persona. Think, they could store him in a dragon, or worse..."

[Aura]

"Remember, dragons can be slain. Prage's power has been sealed away by Vierra. We are safe. We just can't let return. If we can time it right, we can make Prage's soul move on to the afterlife."

"Though what afterlife remains to be seen."

Jarek drew his weapons.

"I'm ready."

[Aura]

Rengal and Jarek arrived at the end of the cave. At the end was the bottom of the volcano. A small path led to a large island in the pool of lava. On the island were mages sitting in a circle, chanting.

"I could sink them with a well placed Harsh Judgment, and then we could take care of the stragglers here."

[Aura]

"First, we need to deal with this heat. We'd die if we went out there. Observe the power of an Elemental Seal."

Rengal held Absolution over the road. The lava slowly moved into the blade until the room was fairly cold...and black.

"...Whoa. I need to try that, you know, on something a bit less powerful."

[Aura]

"Now, stand back. And I mean it. Stand back."

Jarek walked twenty feet back. Rengal began slashing the air, each swing sending a wave of lava at the mages, who were running around the room, judging from the sound.

"What's happening?" yelled Jarek over the noise.

[Aura]

"I'm throwing the lava back in hopes of killing them with ease."

"Hitting any?"

OOC: Bulbasaurus is as bad as Pontus, I swear. He's a little Micro-mod.

OOC: Pontus is much worse. He almost got me un-updatered by writing a one-page complaint of how I was only updating a few dexes at a time.

"Do the screams of pain answer your question?"

OOC: Wow...where is he, anyway? Don't see that little idiot anymore. Also, GW NEEDS to start deleting stuff. It's getting annoying.

"I suppose."

OOC: Indeed, the crashes are annoying.

At Rengal's last swing, the last scream as heard.

"We are done here."

"Well, I suppose I need to be on my way, Rengal. Good day to you, and thank you for your help."

"I'm going back to Soljin. Do you want to go there, or do you want to go to the Alexan plains? Or, you could stay here, as I am your only boat ride out of here."

Jarek laughed.

"Well, I suppose I have nothing in Soljin anymore. Let's go to the Alexan Plains."

OOC: I spend an hour making a map of the Alexan Plains...and it sucks...

"You are aware that there is a war going on there, and unless you pick a side, you will be killed."

"Set sides are for people who don't know how to fight a war. I'll pick one, but it's not like it's going to be my last choice."

Jarek laughed.

"I'm just going to do what I think is right. I'll change sides if it suits me."

"Do you want me to tell you the story?"

"Yes, I suppose you should. I don't want to get into this thing on false pretenses and misplaced morales."

"The Alexan are a group of tribal plainsmen who lived on the Alexan Plains, an island, for many years. However, Serva, a group of armor-clad, civilized people who view down upon tribes, invaded the Alexan Plains. The war has been going on for six years, with Serva winning. The island's only freshwater lake, the only source of water, is under Serva control, and Alexan are now allowed to cross the ever expanding Serva border, thus making them unable to get water. However, they have smugglers and a few ports, but water is still expensive. Soon, the war, as well as the ever expanding Serva border will wipe the Alexan from the Alexan Plains."

"Just for land? Or what? Surely, Serva has intentions other than just random violence."

"Serva is power hungry. It wants to expand its borders, and by taking over islands, it can do that."

"Ahh, good. I know who I'm fighting for, then."

"Who are you fighting for, might I ask?"

"The natives, of course. The Alexans need a helper."

[Aura]

"I am glad that we are on the same side, then. We will arive in a few hours."

Jarek passed the time on the boat by taking up small bets with the sailors on when they would die. He would collect payment upon decease.

OOC: That gets so old.

"We've arrived."

They had arrived on the north patch of land. Grass could be seen from east to west, as far as the eye could see.

OOC: Arr gar arr.

"I'm guessing the main conflict is around the lake region?" Jarek asked Rengal.

[Aura]

"Most of the fighting occurs on the borders. Serva will built a fort in Alexan land, thus extending the border. Alexans will attack the forts."

"Ahh, forts. Well, I suppose we should make our way farther inland."

[Aura]

"Yell at your updater to get the map. And make it offensive. I want to hear crying."
