Match one:
John Frederick versus Supernova
Exhibition: Singles
Frederick goes right after the Supernova in the early going, but Nova keeps him at bay with low kicks to the massive thighs of the brawler. Nova manages to snap off a few quick moves, but he gets caught during a springboard crossbody. Frederick connects with a rib breaker that stuns the returning Nova and reminds him of the hardships inside the squared circle. Frederick is unable to follow up, as Nova goes back to his martial arts kicks to the body and thighs. Frederick tries to clothesline him, but Nova bounces off the ropes with a handspring back elbow that stuns the big man. Supernova stays on the offensive, slowly wearing down his much larger opponent. Nova tries to end things with his patented finisher, the appropriately, but not so cleverly named, Supernova, but Frederick counters into a spinebuster! He only gets two, as the resilient Texan battles out. Frederick decides he’s going to go for broke here and hoists him to his shoulders for the Drop to Hell. Supernova counters into the Lights Out! He starts raining down knees on his skull, and the referee has to stop this one…
Winner: Supernova via Knockout at 4:20
Supernova celebrates after an impressive return to the wrestling ring.
Match two:
Nick Nexus versus Johnny Reed
Exhibition: Singles
Trent Taurus and Mike Vista are barred from ringside after the competitors’ respective entrances. Nexus and Reed battle back and forth in the opening moments of the contest, using their speed to counter each others’ attempts to moves. Reed manages to take Nexus down with a spinning headscissors that causes Nick to slide outside the ring, looking for a time out. Reed runs to the opposite ropes, setting up a suicide dive, but Nexus gets away from the side of the ring, causing Johnny to stop dead in his tracks. Nexus slides in on the other side, making sure he isn’t getting attacked on the way in. These two lock it up, and this time Nexus shoves Reed into the corner and starts choking him. The referee forces a break. Nick whips Reed into the ropes, but the agile Johnny Reed jumps off the turnbuckles and nails a back elbow. Reed runs to the ropes now, attempting a Lionsault. Nexus moves out of the way, causing Johnny to land face-first on the mat. Nexus follows with La Majistral, trying to end things early, but it’s to no avail.
Nexus stays on his man, using a few agile attacks, such as the breakdance legdrop and a standing moonsault. He can only get two counts however, and realizes this isn’t the way to beat Reed. Nexus drags Reed to the corner and climbs to the top rope, but Johnny shoves the referee into the ropes and nails a hard slap across the face of Nick Nexus. Reed climbs the ropes, setting up the superplex, but Nexus counters in mid-move… SUPER GOURDBUSTAHH~! DANGEROUSSS! Nexus nearly gets the pinfall, but Reed shows he isn’t going down without a fight tonight. Nexus stays on Reed, grounding him now with a modified stretch plum submission hold. Reed eventually battles his way to the ropes, much to the chagrin of his opponent.
Nicky pulls Reed to his feet, which proves to be a mistake when he counters a back bodydrop attempt with a swinging tornado DDT. Reed gets only two from the move, but he doesn’t let that deter him from his goal. The Big F’N Story decides to make headlines tonight as he goes to the top rope. Nexus gets to his feet and Reed jumps off with a crossbody, but it doesn’t pay off as Nexus nails a dropkick in mid-move, catching Reed in the stomach. Nexus nails a standing SSP! One, two, thr-NO! Reed is too determined to lose this match, and Nexus’ frustration begins to show as he pounds the mat. Nick motions for Reed to return to his feet, preparing a superkick. Reed ducks under and springs off the middle rope… DON’T CHANGE THAT CHANNEL~! Reed makes the cover… but Nexus kicks out! These two are putting on a real display tonight, in the midst of the world title tournament, showing that the vets and the big dogs aren’t the only ones trying to make a name for themselves here in Pro Wrestling Warriors.
Reed is ready to end it all now, placing Nexus on the top rope. He’s setting up the Front Page Bomb, but Nexus counters with a few kicks and knees to the back and the neck. He wraps his legs around Reed’s head… SPINNING POISON RANA~! WHAT THE FUUUUDGE?! One, two, thre-NO! Reed gets out of it, somehow, someway… Nexus climbs to the top rope now. He’s ready to finish him off. This move is TOO HOT FOR TELEVISION! He misses! Reed just barely moves out of the way as Nexus lands hard. Veronica runs to the ring… or well, walks quite quickly in her pumps, as Nexus lie in the ring. The referee turns his attention to the distracting beauty, who jumps on the apron. Trent Taurus runs in from the crowd and slides a chain in for Nexus to use. Reed gets to his feet and gets nailed in the face with the chain. Nexus tosses it outside to Trent, who grins cheesily and places the foreign object down his pants. That’s not the only thing from another country that’s been on his crotch today. SHAZAM. Nexus climbs to the top rope… FIREBIRD SPLASH! This one is over…
Winner: Nick Nexus via Pinfall at 13:25
The crowd boos as Studio 54 stands in the ring over the fallen Johnny Reed. Mike Vista runs down the ramp, but it’s too late, as Studio 54 and Veronica bail, leaving The Grandstands to cope with a loss.
Match three
Shawn Walsh vs. Cameron Mitchell
Exhibition: PWW World Title Tournament
Written by Dan
It’s the Hardcore Legend against an overall tough guy in Cameron Mitchell. The two lock up and Mitchell locks in a side headlock. Walsh pushes Cameron into the ropes, and upon his return, Mitchell evades a clothesline. Standing behind Shawn, he grabs both shoulders and pulls him into a backbreaker variant. Mitchell then tries to mount and pound Walsh, but he’s pushed off. Both men are on their feet and Walsh begins pounding Cameron into the corner. Mitchell hits a hard elbow, and begins climbing up the turnbuckle, but while stepping onto the second rope, Shawn Walsh hits him with an elevated reverse DDT. He goes for a quick cover but Cameron kicks out.
Walsh waits for Mitchell to get on his feet, and when he does, they both duke it out. Mitchell ends the punching frenzy with a knee to the midsection of Shawn Walsh, followed up by a quick DDT. Mitchell locks in a headlock and applies pressure. Walsh gets to his feet while in the lock, hits an elbow to the midsection, and tosses Mitchell into the corner. They throw a few more blows at each other before Mitchell rakes Walsh’s eyes and Shawn drops to the floor. Cameron climbs the turnbuckle, and goes for the Stagedive, but misses as Walsh rolls off to the side. Shawn then climbs the turnbuckle, and Cameron quickly runs to ring him up. However, the Hardcore Legend dives off, hitting the Whiplash! They crash to the canvas, and Walsh makes the cover to advance in the PWW World Title Tournament.
Winner: Shawn Walsh via Pinfall at 5:13
Walsh raises his hands in the air after dominating Mitchell in this first-round match. He has to be a heavy favorite in this tourney…
Match four:
Komodo versus Thomas Wolfe
Exhibition: PWW World Title Tournament
The Toronto Tornado makes his return to Pro Wrestling Warriors tonight, and he isn’t given any slack opponent. He’s given the debuting Thomas Wolfe, a man who’s dominated BKW recently. But he’s about to embark on a tough challenge in his debut match in PWW. Komodo starts things off with a flurry of strikes and punches on the larger man, but Wolfe manages to catch one of his kicks and nails a nasty dragon leg screw. Komodo tries to return to his feet, but Wolfe rushes him with hard punches and knees. The two are brawling in the corner now, and this has turned into an old-fashioned slug fest. The referee seems content with letting the two men go, and Wolfe soon finds out why he shouldn’t strike with a shooter, as he nearly gets his head taken off with a Komodo Kick, sending him through the ropes to the outside floor. The fans pop huge for Komodo, who arrogantly bows to the crowd before slingshotting over the top rope with a pescado! Wolfe goes down again, and Komodo returns to his feet. He lifts Wolfe and tries to whip him into the steel guardrail, but Thomas reverses, causing the former World Champion to taste the harsh steel.
Wolfe kicks away at Komodo before rolling inside the ring, leaving him outside. Wolfe may be a monster, but he’s smart enough to know that he can win this match by countout and advance. Komodo makes it back in the ring at the count of eight, barely saving himself from a loss. Wolfe continues by standing over Komodo and jumping on the small of his back before applying a camel clutch. He’s trying to break Komodo’s back and make him humble here. OLD STYLE. Komodo manages to reach out and get the ropes before too much damage is done. Wolfe wisely stays on the back with stomps. Komodo manages to pull himself to his feet before getting Irish whipped into the corner. Wolfe charges and connects with a hard clothesline in the corner before nailing a bulldog. He gets a two count from that combo and some applause from the fans.
Wolfe pulls Komodo back to his feet and nails a snap suplex. He looms over his opponent, dominating Komodo for the last few minutes. Wolfe pulls Komodo back to his feet and places him in the corner, now driving shoulders into his midsection. He whips Komodo into the opposite corner again and charges, but this time the Tornado gets his feet up to the face of Wolfe, causing him to stumble backward. Komodo charges and nails a spinning heel kick that knocks down the debuting Wolfe. Komodo gets to his feet, and Wolfe returns to his as well. Jack nails some punches to the head and tries to whip Wolfe across, but Thomas pulls him in for a huge spinebuster! Wolfe pulls Komodo back to his feet, wasting little time, and connects with a double underhook backbreaker! Thomas makes the cover… one, two, thr-WHOA! Komodo BARELY kicks out of that one, and Wolfe almost stole one from the ex-World Champ.
Thomas stays on the back, delivering several knees to the spine now. He pulls Komodo back to his feet and applies a bearhug, wearing him down. The crowd rallies behind the Toronto Tornado, trying to motivate him to fight back. It seemingly works as Komodo fires shots to the head of Wolfe from either side and then nails a bell clap that stuns the big man fighting out of Mankato, Minnesota. Komodo frees himself from the submission and connects with a few forearms to the jaw. He attempts a T-Bone Suplex, but Wolfe uses some back elbows to stop it. Thomas now charges to the ropes and returns, but he gets caught with a stiff kick to the head, followed by that T-Bone Suplex Komodo was looking for earlier! Komodo is feeling it now, as Wolfe gets caught with a series of kicks to the abdomen and a spinning back kick to the jaw that sends him into the ropes. Wolfe nearly falls out of the ring, but he catches himself and charges, missing a clothesline. Komodo instead connects with a roundhouse kick to the head and then doubles Wolfe over with a kick to the stomach.
The Toronto Tornado attempts a butterfly suplex, but the larger Wolfe blocks it and grabs Komodo around the legs, lifting him into the air and delivering a huge slam. Wolfe desperately begins choking Komodo on the mat as the referee yells at him to stop. He releases it at the last possible moment and returns his focus to the small of Komodo’s back. He applies a reverse bearhug, sort of a modified waistlock, but Komodo gets back to his feet and fires back elbows to the head of Wolfe to fight out of it. Komodo nails a mule kick to the chest of Wolfe, sending him backward. Jack runs to the ropes and attempts the SalaSpear, but Wolfe leapfrogs over it, causing Komodo’s head to collide with the turnbuckle padding. Better that than the post for Komodo, but he gets caught with a hard kick to the back. Wolfe turns Komodo around and hoists him to his shoulders. He’s going for the Tommy Hawk! Komodo slips out at the last possible instant and connects with a Gila Suplex! Wolfe gets dropped on his head, and Komodo runs to the ropes. Thomas barely makes it to his feet before getting SalaSpeared out of his boots! One, two, three! The World Champ is moving on…
Winner: Komodo via Pinfall at 15:49
Jack gets praise from the crowd for defeating Wolfe, but I have a feeling he’s a bit disappointed in how hard it was for him to beat a man who he should have easily defeated…
The fans are on their feet as one of the most highly anticipated first-round matches in the World Title Tournament is about to begin.
Match five:
Jack Colville versus Alex Michaels
Exhibition: PWW World Title Tournament
Alex Michaels makes his way to the ring first, but seems pretty calm and is holding a microphone. He gets in the ring and orders that his music be cut.
Alex Michaels:
Ladies and gentlemen… Entourage fans… I have some bad news. It seems that… Jack Colville was unable to make it here tonight.
Some of the fans boo, but the rest are murmuring, wondering why Alex Michaels is making this announcement.
Alex Michaels:
Yes, it seems that he was involved in an accident earlier today and I-well, the footage speaks for itself, really, so just… Boys in the truck… Roll it, please. But I urge you… if you’re squeamish, pregnant, or a little p*ssy, you might want to just turn your faces away from your 13-inch black and white TV in your trailer park with forty lawn flamingos in your front yard right now… Just do it…
The video screen illuminates as footage of Jack Colville warming up in his locker room is shown. He’s stretching a bit on the floor when a knock is heard.
Jack Colville:
Who is it?
Voice from outside:
Room service!
Colville gets to his feet and opens the door and gets hit in the face by Trent Taurus! Nick Nexus, Damon Black, and Alex Michaels run in the room and begin stomping the sh*t out of Colville.
Alex Michaels:
Okay, freeze frame.
At Alex’s command, the image of Colville being beaten mercilessly is frozen on the screen as the crowd boos.
Alex Michaels:
As clearly demonstrated here, getting stomped in the face isn’t really a wise decision if you’re a half an hour away from a match… Yeah, that’s really a big no-no. But that Colville always had a weird training regimen. Anyway, proceed…
The video continues, as Studio 54 and Black all hold Colville up. Michaels slaps him repeatedly in the face…
Alex Michaels:
You just met a roadblock on the comeback trail, you little bitch…
Michaels, Studio 54, and Black drag Colville out of the room as the feed is cut…
We return to the live feed, as Michaels is grinning in the middle of the ring. The crowd continues to boo him…
Alex Michaels:
I’m not quite sure of the details after that. They’re a bit sketchy, but… I seem to remember something involving manholes or sewers… I’m not really quite sure. But one thing that IS for sure is that Jack Colville won’t be showing his wrinkled, battle-scarred face with his yellow tobacco-stained teeth and his bloodshot eyes around MY house anymore…
The crowd proceeds to boo.
Alex Michaels:
Wha-What’s that?
The fans begin to chant obscenities at Michaels now.
Alex Michaels:
Yes! I agree! Jack Colville is all of those things and more, but you see, there is no need for you to be disappointed. As a man of the people, I have found a replacement opponent who was WAY more worthy than entering this tournament than Colville EVER was.
Michaels reaches into his tights and pulls out some index cards. Eww… He reads them.
Alex Michaels:
This man is a LEGEND of the Ring, hailing from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania… He stands 6’2 and weighs in at 242 pounds. He is a former member of the Original HCW’s roster, and hell, if that doesn’t qualify you to be in this tournament, well… I just don’t know what would. Ladies and gentlemen, people of Virginia, put your hands together for… “The Incomparable”… DAMIAN… HAAAWWWWK!
The crowd goes dead as Hawk runs out of the entryway, jumping in the air, pumping his fists and screaming. Michaels sardonically applauds as Hawk gets a few cheers from the three members of the crowd who remember him. He slides in the ring and poses on the turnbuckles. Hawk hops down and Michaels extends his hand. They shake.
Alex Michaels:
Before this match gets started, I just want you to know… It’s an honor to have been in the same ring with you, Damian.
Hawk grins, failing to detect sarcasm. GMFG. A referee runs in and this one is underway…
Match five:
Damian Hawk versus Alex Michaels
Exhibition: PWW World Title Tournament
The fans have a hard time really getting into this one. Hawk and Michaels lock up, and Alex easily pushes the heavier man into the corner, showing his strength. The referee orders a clean break, and Alex obliges and again shakes Damian’s hand. Hawk grins and the two move back to the middle of the ring, where Michaels and Hawk lock up. Michaels applies a side headlock and Hawk pushes him into the ropes. Michaels returns and… actually gets taken down, courtesy of a shoulder block by Alex Michaels. Alex seems angry and gets back to his feet, yelling “What was that?!” Hawk shrugs, and Alex slaps him. Well, this one isn’t friendly anymore. Hawk gets shoved into the corner, where Michaels begins choking him with his boot as the crowd boos. The referee intervenes, and Michaels grins, stepping back. He waits on Hawk to stand in the corner, and Michaels charges, connecting with a big knee to the face. He grabs Damian out of the corner and nails a snap suplex. Michaels arrogantly places his foot on Hawk’s chest, getting a two count. He pulls Hawk to his feet and delivers a gutbuster.
The crowd boos as Alex places Hawk’s neck on the middle rope, runs to the opposite ropes, and returns by jumping on the back of Hawk’s neck. What a meanie. Michaels grabs Hawk and delivers a big back suplex and does another arrogant foot pin, with Hawk kicking out at two. Alex slaps the back of Hawk’s head, but this causes the curtain-jerking PHENOM to deliver a few punches to Alex’s midsection. Hawk connects with a clothesline and yells at Alex to get to his feet. Hawk fires punches to the head of Michaels, rocking him, as the crowd slowly gets behind their only hope to see Michaels lose. Hawk whips Michaels into the ropes… BIG back bodydrop! The crowd cheers as Hawk runs to the ropes again. He returns… YAKUZA KICK! Michaels is in trouble! Hawk says it’s time to end it all. He goes to apply the Hawk’s Nest, his modified Rings of Saturn, but Michaels makes it to the ropes quickly. Hawk gouges the eyes of Hawk and delivers a Schwein, dropping poor Hawk right on his head. Alex quickly transitions into the A.M.X., forcing Hawk to tap out almost immediately…
Winner: Alex Michaels via Submission at 4:30
The crowd boos as Michaels kicks Hawk out of the ring and picks up a mic from ringside.
Alex Michaels:
Thanks for comin’, junior! See ya… NEVER! Ha ha ha…
Michaels’ post-match celebration is abruptly cut as Back in Black hits the speakers and James Simpson walks out with a rolled up piece of paper grasped in his left hand and a mic in his right.
James Simpson:
Bravo, Alex. You’ve fooled us all. You beat Colville to a pulp and then humiliated Hawk. And as much as I’d love to punish you, there’s nothing… really… that I can do.
The crowd boos as everyone knows Simpson is in cahoots with The Entourage.
Alex Michaels:
That’s right, Jim! I advance!
Simpson holds his hand up, however.
James Simpson:
That’s right, Alex. You advance. And as I was saying… there’s nothing that I can do…
…That’ll be worse than what you receive next week when you face your opponent…
Simpson takes the piece of paper and unrolls it, looking at the brackets… (http://aycu12.webshots.com/image/20211/2003276893317411676_rs.jpg)
James Simpson:
Yes, you defeated… well, Damian Hawk, but also Jack Colville, which means you’re due to face…
…The man who beat Thomas Wolfe earlier tonight, KOMODO!
The crowd erupts (LIKE A VOLCANOMG) as Michaels throws a hissy fit in the ring and Simpson leaves to his music…
Match six:
Phreak vs. Tristan Novak
Exhibition: PWW World Title Tournament
Written by Dan
The returning Phreak goes up against the “chain smoking, binge-drinking, womanizing, racist, homophobic loud-mouthed Irishman” Tristan Novak. Novak pats his PWW Traditional title while smiling in the direction of his opponent, before placing it down in the corner. The match begins and both men walk out into the middle of the ring. Novak sends a stiff kick to the leg of Phreak, because with almost a foot difference between these two men, he’s going to have to slow his opponent down. Novak sends another kick to his opponent’s leg, before Phreak lands a wild haymaker on Tristan’s forehead. Phreak hits another punch before grabbing the Irishman, and executing a hard snap suplex. Novak’s back slams down against the center of the ring.
Phreak stands up and begins to stomp away on his opponent. Novak rolls over and gets on all fours, and receives a hard kick to the midsection for his troubles. He rolls over onto the apron, and begins to pull himself up using the second rope. Phreak approaches, and Tristan lunges his shoulders through the middle ropes, into Phreak’s stomach. Phreak bends over, and Novak hits him in the face with a straight kick through the middle rope. Phreak falls onto his back, and Tristan slingshots himself into the ring with an elbow drop. Tristan gets up onto his feet now, and hits Phreak with a few boots, before attempting a flipping senton splash. Phreak rolls and Novak hits his back against the canvas.
Both men have now risen back onto their feet, and Phreak charges, tackling Tristan into the corner of the ring. Phreak then locks the champ into a devastating guillotine choke. He squeezes, but Tristan manages to grab the bottom rope, and Phreak is forced to break the submission. Novak pulls himself up using the middle rope, and hops up onto the turnbuckle, diving off the middle rope with a clothesline. Both men go down, and Novak is up first. As Phreak gets onto his knee, Tristan runs and hits a huge shining wizard, knocking the veteran down. Novak attempts a pin, but Phreak throws him off at one. He sits up, and rises, before quickly dropping an elbow to the back of a rising Tristan Novak.
Phreak gets up onto his feet and claps his hands together, getting the crowd pumped up. He goes to lift Tristan by grabbing his head, but Tristan gets a thumb to the eye, and Phreak stumbles back. As he rubs his eyes, the fans boo heavily, and Novak gets onto two feet once more. He then hits the ropes, and with Phreak’s back turned to him, Tristan hits a dropkick to the back of Phreak’s leg. Phreak gets knocked down onto one knee, and from behind, Tristan clubs him in the back of the head. Phreak falls face down onto the mat, and Tristan climbs the turnbuckle. He taunts for a moment, as Phreak rolls onto his back. Tristan then dives off with a corkscrew moonsault, but Phreak gets his knees up! Novak hits them and clutches his stomach, as Phreak goes for a pin! 1…2…kickout at the last second by Tristan.
Phreak rises, and hits Novak with a few boots. Tristan sits up, and Phreak hits him with a float over neck whip. He then turns around, and applies a headlock to the Traditional Champion. Phreak squeezes, using his size advantage to really get the upper hand. Tristan begins to fade away, as Phreak tightens the grip. Novak is out, and the referee begins to raise his hand. Once, it drops. Second time, it drops. The third time, however, Tristan makes a fist and begins to shake his arm. He begins throwing his arms back, trying to knock Phreak off of him. However, he is unable to do so, therefore he grabs the ropes. The referee breaks it up, and Phreak runs and connects a big knee to the face. Tristan falls down.
Phreak walks over, and lifts Tristan up onto his feet. He hits a boot to the midsection, and sets Novak up for a powerbomb. Phreak lifts his opponent up into the air, and Novak slides out, landing behind his opponent. Phreak turns around, and gets kicked in the stomach. Tristan then grabs him… and hits the Abolition! He gets onto his knees and crawls to his downed opponent, and pins Phreak with a three count to advance in the tournament.
Winner: Tristan Novak via Pinfall at 14:57
Novak gets a round of applause from the fans, who despite his abrasive nature, can’t help but young the spunky Irishman. Novak even goes as far as to shake Phreak’s hand for what was an incredible match, and in a show of support, Phreak raises Novak’s hand… and then mouths something about a rematch down the line. Novak grins and nods as the crowd cheers both men. Novak… showing class… Never thought I’d see the day.
Match seven:
Chris Linden versus Lance Van Leer
Exhibition: PWW World Title Tournament
Linden starts off like a HOUSE AFIRE~! against Lance, throwing himself at the guy with forearms and punches. Scarlett cheers her man on from the commentary position, which she has been relegated to due to her frequent interferences in Van Leer’s matches. A leg lariat stuns Lance, but Linden doesn’t stop there. He continues to go after him in the corner until the referee forces him off. Linden gets the crowd cheering as Lance is taken aback by The Passion of the Chris (lolz horrible punz). Linden charges Lance again, but this time Van Leer is ready as he knees Chris in the stomach. LVL clubs Linden in the back of the neck with a few shots and whips him into the ropes. He charges, but Chris moves out of the way, causing Lance to collide with the turnbuckles. Chris runs up the ropes and connects with a corkscrew body press that gets a two count.
Linden runs to the ropes and springs off, looking for a springboard leg lariat, but Lance catches him mid-move and nails a back suplex that drops Chris on the back of his head. He pulls Linden back to his feet and then tosses him outside, showing his strength. The fans boo Lance as he raises his arms in the air in a flexing pose. He heads outside and grabs Linden, Irish whipping him into the steel ringsteps. Chris is definitely at a disadvantage on the outside, as Lance is a much more experienced brawler and has the size edge. Lance grabs Linden and Irish whips him into the steel guardrail… only Linden slides underneath the guardrail, showing his incredible agility and speed. He gets up on the other side and leaps to the top of the guardrail and jumps off, snapping off a huracarrana! Lance gets taken down on the floor. Linden gets to his feet and makes a pumping gesture. Lance gets to his feet and takes a kick to the stomach… Oh, no… Not out here… DAMAGE REPORT~! Lance didn’t flip all the way, and he’s landed on his neck in a really awkward position…
Linden gets to his feet, but the referee upon seeing something has gone wrong, gets out of the ring immediately. He motions for Linden to back off a bit as Scarlett removes her headset and goes to her husband’s side. The referee calls for the bell immediately, as Lance is unable to move, lying on the floor with his hand on his neck. The fans are wondering just what the hell is going on, but their questions are answered when Todd Duvet makes the announcement…
Winner: Chris Linden via Forfeiture at 6:17
Linden seems a bit shocked by this, asking the referee is LVL is okay. Several EMTs rush down to the ringside area with a stretcher and lift Lance onto it. Chris mouths apologies toward Lance. The fans know it isn’t his fault, but Chris holds his head, shocked… Regardless, Chris Linden has just… managed to defeat one of the elite number one seeds in PWW and move on in this tournament.
Match eight:
Malice versus Rob Cavallo
Exhibition: PWW World Title Tournament
Written by TD
After the travesty that had just occurred, it’ll be nice to see two smart mark favorites battling it out in this round one tournament match. So here we go, we got the return of Malice, a man known for his hardcore style of wrestling and we have Rob Cavallo, the GOD of rock. The match begins with the two locking up, Malice using his slightly bigger size to his advantage as he powers Cavallo over into the corner and thrusts a knee into the gut, followed by an elbow to the side of the head. Malice begins to send rights to the face of Cavallo, who is falling victim to a man who appears to show little to no ring rust, Malice seems to have a distinct advantage as he sends Cavallo into the opposite corner with an irish whip. Cavallo uses his speed advantage runs up the turnbuckle, to the top and flips off backwards, looking to hit a moonsault, but as Malice rushes past him, Cavallo lands behind on his feet! The crowd stirs at the acrobatic display, as Malice turns around he is met with a sickening Muay Thai kick right to the skull! Malice drops to the mat holding his head and Cavallo quickly goes for the cover but only manages to pull a two count out of the predicament. Cavallo gets up, wasting no time on the veteran and begins to send stiff kick to his sides until the referee forces him away. Cavallo continues to build his advantage as he walks over to the downed Malice as hits a quick leg drop, Malice slowly begins to get to his feet and Cavallo bounces off the ropes, he attempts a cross body but Malice catches him in mid-air, hoists him into the air and drops him with onto his knee with a backbreaker! Malice, who seems to be getting relatively cocky about the situation casually as he stomps on the chest of Cavallo. Malice seems to be waiting for Cavallo to get up and just as he does, Malice sends him down with a fairly stiff spinning heel kick. Malice quickly crawls only for the cover but only manages to get a two count.
Malice continues to show control in this match, isolating Cavallo with a variety of punches and kicks, even the occasional suplex to show that although he is looked at as a brawler, he does have his technical side. This continues for a while until Malice attempts a spinebuster, but from a burst of momentum, Cavallo somehow manages to grip a hold of Malice’s held and drops him with a sickening DDT! Both men are down as the referee begins the slow count to ten, both men begin to stir around the five count and Cavallo is first to his feet, but by less than a second. Malice tries to capitalize with a clothesline, but it’s quickly ducked by Cavallo and he plants Malice with a bridging tiger suplex but Cavallo only manages to get a two count. Cavallo quickly gets to his feet and seeing that Malice is still down, he runs out onto the apron, Malice begins to get to his feet… but Cavallo slingshots over the top rope, wrapping his legs around Malice’s head and sends him flying with a hurracanrana! Cavallo seems to now be steadily in control, this match seems to constantly be going back and forth, Cavallo makes his way over to Malice, but as Cavallo goes to grab him, Malice quickly throws Cavallo out of the ring! Cavallo tumbles to the ground and Malice steps out onto the apron, motioning that it’s now his turn for an acrobatic move, Cavallo begins to get up but Malice jumps onto the middle rope and connects with an asai moonsault! Malice is showing why he’s considered a well-balanced wrestler, showing that he has speed and will take risks as well. Both men get to their feet and Malice grabs Cavallo, he hoists him up into the air and drops him throat first into the guard rail! The referee leans through the ropes and starts lecturing Malice, who simply just shrugs off the referee, Malice grins and pulls Cavallo back to his feet. Malice doesn’t let Cavallo stay on his feet for long though, as Malice whips Cavallo into the ring steps with full force, you can hear the clang of the steel as Cavallo does a front flip over the steps, holding his leg. Malice seems to be focused on inflicting pain on Cavallo, the referee is at now about an eight count, so Malice slides into the ring, but slides back out to reset the count.
Malice walks over to Cavallo, grabbing him and aggressively tosses him back into the ring, following him inside. Cavallo begins to stumble to his feet, as Malice is lurking from behind, measuring him up, Cavallo spins around noticing that Malice is nowhere in sight, but gets dropped by the Downfall! Malice quickly floats over and covers Cavallo, that’s gotta be three, NO! Cavallo kicks out after two and a half, Malice sits up, clearly frustrated with Cavallo managing to kick out. Malice motions that it’s over and he begins to pull Cavallo to his feet, looking to set him up for the Nail in the Coffin, but out of nowhere, Cavallo pulls out everything he has and counters with a northern lights suplex! Cavallo doesn’t even have enough energy to go for the cover, so he remains on the mat, breathing to try and recover. Cavallo slowly begins to stumble to his feet, as does Malice, these two are putting on quite the match, the two begin to exchange fists until Cavallo starts to reel. Malice whips him into the ropes, attempts a clothesline but Cavallo manages to duck underneath it, Cavallo continues to run and just as Malice turns around, he gives hit my a beautiful spinning wheel kick! Malice drops to the mat hard and Cavallo quickly crawls over to hook the leg, no! Only a two count.

Cavallo stumbles backwards as the referee hits the mat, Malice drops Cavallo with a quick reverse DDT and hooks the leg. He then looks over at the referee and realizes that the vulnerable ref is knocked out. Cavallo quickly hooks the leg, the referee crawls over to the cover, one… two… thr- Malice kicked out! Cavallo can’t believe it and he pulls Malice up to his feet, motioning that it’s about time for things to end, Malice however has a different idea as he hits a drop toe hold out of nowhere onto Cavallo! And guess what, Cavallo conveniently lands on top of the ref, right on the back of his head, so yeah, that flimsy ref is out again. Malice pulls Cavallo up quickly, into a double underhook… he hoists Cavallo into the air and drops him into a backbreaker. Malice then turns his attention to the referee as Cavallo slides out of the ring, out of sight from Malice… where is Cavallo going… this isn’t looking too good for Malice, Cavallo has a steel chair! Cavallo slides into the ring with the chair, just as the referee looks as if he’s beginning to stir. Malice turns around and sees Cavallo with the chair, Cavallo tosses the chair over to Malice and out of instinct, he catches it. Cavallo quickly drops to the mat, holding his head, faking an injury! The referee seems to have come to, he sees Cavallo lying on the mat holding his head, with Malice standing on his feet… steel chair in hand. The referee calls for the bell and disqualifies Malice!
Winner: Rob Cavallo via Disqualification at 19:32
Malice has a look of disbelief on his face, he disputes to the referee for a moment, the referee starts shaking his head and points at the chair. Cavallo sits up and you can see him begin to laugh to himself at the situation, Malice however does not find the situation so funny, as he walks right over to Cavallo and sends a devastating crack to the head! The referee quickly runs up to Malice and tries to grab the chair from him, Malice shoves the referee aside, as he hits the mat and rolls out of the ring. Cavallo begins to stir and Malice sends yet another chair shot to the skull of Cavallo before tossing the chair aside. Malice slides out of the ring, then goes underneath the ring! He’s not done, he pulls out… a big wooden object… yeah you guessed it, it’s a table. Malice slides the table into the ring, then slides in himself. He begins to set up the table and has it fully set up, he walks over to Cavallo and motions that it’s over. Malice pulls Cavallo over to the table with him, but Cavallo quickly drops to his knees and hits a low blow on Malice! Cavallo doesn’t want to be in the ring any longer with the angry Malice, so he slides under the table, right out of the ring and walks backwards up the ramp, staring back at Malice. Cavallo holds his head in pain but still manages to crack a smile, advancing in the tournament.

Brett Stokes eagerly awaits the arrival of his opponent in this first round contest. 187 gets in the ring and stares down Stokes, who mouths off to the troubled man. Stokes eventually slaps 187 across the face, which proves to be a mistake, as Rizzo connects with a stiff right that knocks Stokes on his ass. The fans cheer, but Brett backs up and gets to the ropes, where Maria Rounds gives him words of encouragement. The two men circle the ring a bit, as Brett is once again put up against a man of much larger size and strength, but also more in-ring experience. The two lock up, and 187 easily backs the featherweight Stokes into the corner. The referee forces a break, but 187 whips Stokes across the ring. He charges, but Brett moves out of the way, and 187 stops himself from connecting with the turnbuckle pads. The two men circle the ring again. Stokes runs at 187, but gets caught with a big forearm to the face. 187 fires a few forearms to the face and attempts a vertical suplex, but Brett slips out at the peak, landing behind 187.
Brett starts kicking away as the thighs and shins of 187, but the big man catches one of his feet and spins him around, only to take an enzuigiri. Stokes uses a few rights and lefts to daze 187, but it doesn’t seem to be too effective, as he still gets caught going for a crossbody. 187 throws Stokes overhead with a fall away slam, sending him into the mat. Stokes slides out of the ring and gets comforted by Maria, who gives him some more advice. 187 gets sick of waiting on him, so he gets out of the ring. Stokes runs around the ring and slides back in the other way. Anthony gets back in now, and Stokes immediately jumps on him, delivering kicks and punches. He grabs 187 and tries an Irish whip, but it gets reversed. Stokes wisely springs off the middle rope and nails a leg lariat that actually takes 187 down, shocking the crowd. Stokes runs to the ropes again and this time springs off the middle rope with a corkscrew senton to the stomach. He makes the cover, but 187 easily avoids defeat, kicking out at two.
Stokes applies a rear chinlock, but can barely keep 187 from getting to his feet. The veteran shoves the young gun off to the corner, and Stokes again uses his agility by running up the ropes and delivering a moonsault to the standing 187, sending him to the mat for another cover, but again only a two count. Brett kicks away as 187 rises. He runs to the ropes once more, springing off the middle rope for what appears to be a tornado DDT, but 187 catches him. Stokes gets to his feet and 187 charges, looking for a clothesline. Stokes ducks under and connects with a leaping sidekick to the jaw that rocks 187 and causes him to stagger into the corner. Stokes mounts him and starts gouging his eyes. The Idol lets go at the referee’s request and pulls 187 out of the corner. He nails a European Uppercut and pulls him into a front facelock. Stokes runs up the corner turnbuckles again and nails the Tornado DDT he was looking for earlier. He makes the cover… but 187 again kicks out, showing his tenacity.
Stokes is back to his feet… Standing Phoenix Splash! He covers… but 187 won’t be denied. Stokes pounds the mat with the utmost frustration, but he pulls 187 to his feet again, only to receive a stiff uppercut to the jaw and a t-bone suplex that drops Stokes on his head once again. Stokes rolls out of the ring, and Maria Rounds jumps on the opposite apron to distract 187. She starts taunting him, and he gets pissed and goes to grab her, but Rounds jumps off the apron in the nick of time. Stokes sneaks in the ring and rolls 187 up from behind with a schoolboy, using the tights, but 187 kicks out. Anthony is pissed at the dirty tactics used by Brett and grabs him around the throat with a chokehold. He hoists Stokes above his head and throws him over the top rope, sending all 190 pounds crashing to the outside floor. It seems something has snapped, as Anthony runs to the opposite set of ropes and returns… SUICIDE DIVE! 187 clears the ropes, crashing onto Stokes with a topé!
187 gets to his feet, screaming like a madman, and he grabs Brett and sends him back inside. 187 tries to crawl in the ring, but Rounds grabs him by his foot. He kicks her away, causing her to fall on the outside! 187 looks over the ropes, shocked at what he’s done, realizing he’s once again succumbed to the violence he expresses great loath for. He looks over the top rope as the referee checks on Maria. This allows Stokes to connect with a low blow. Maria makes a miraculous recovery, getting to her feet as the referee returns to the ring. Stokes has laid 187 out with a DDT and he’s climbing to the top rope now. He’s going for a 450 splash, but 187 crotches him on the turnbuckle. He grabs Stokes and pulls him off the ropes, hoisting him onto his shoulder… GENOCIDE DRIVAAHHHH~! One, two, three!
Winner: 187 via Pinfall at 13:16

Match ten:
Sean Walker versus Jay Wallace
Exhibition: Singles
The God of Thunder, one of the biggest legends the sport has ever seen, makes his return to the ring after a lengthy absence. The Internet has been abuzz with rumors of Walker’s return for months, but now we know for sure, that Sean Walker has chosen Pro Wrestling Warriors as the premise for his mighty comeback. The cocky Jay Wallace, a youngster in the sport, hopes to score a victory that would make a contribution to his résumé that not many men can boast – a defeat over the legendary Sean Walker. Walker stretches a bit on the ropes as a huge “Welcome Back!” chant booms throughout the arena for one of the greats. He and Wallace slowly move to the center of the ring, where they lock it up, and Sean Walker’s first wrestling match in Pro Wrestling Warriors begins…
Walker and Wallace jockey for position, with the God of Thunder slowly forcing the DEFinition into the corner, showing his strength. The referee moves in for a lock up, and Walker complies, giving him a clean break. Wallace, however, has other things in mind. He viciously slaps Walker across the face, disrespecting the former multitime World Champion. Walker holds his cheek, almost shocked at the spunk in this youngster, and Wallace doesn’t give Walker much time to think about. He grabs Sean and throws him into the corner, unloading with chops and forearms to the head. Walker doesn’t seem to fazed by any of these, and Wallace decides to whip him across the ring. That plan backfires, as Walker reverses with a quick knee to the stomach and a Russian leg sweep that ends with Wallace lying on his back. Walker grins as he holds his cheek again, rubbing it a bit, almost enjoying the disrespect from his outspoken opponent.
Wallace gets back to his feet, and the two men move in again. Walker pulls Wallace into a side headlock this time. Wallace fires a few shots to the side and shoves Walker into the ropes. Sean returns and mows down the newcomer with a shoulderblock that sends him into the mat. The fans cheer as Walker runs to the ropes. Wallace stays on the mat, trying to trip Sean up, but Walker oversteps it and runs to the other ropes. Wallace is back to his feet and leapfrogs over Walker… or so he thinks. Sean catches him mid move and delivers a flapjack that plants Wallace’s face on the mat. Jay grabs his face now, and Walker has returned the favor from earlier. He lays into Wallace with hard punches to the head before whipping him across the ring. Walker charges with a hard clothesline and follows with a bulldog that gets him a two count. Sean doesn’t look like he has any ring rust tonight, showing the crowd that he’s as impressive a phenomenon in the squared circle as he’s ever been.
Sean tries to lift Wallace to his feet, but the sneaky bastard catches him with an eye poke that stuns Walker. Wallace applies a front facelock now, trying to wear down Walker, but Sean shoves him into the corner. The referee asks for a clean break again, and this time it’s Walker who disrespects his opponent with a hard slap to the face, stunning Wallace. Jay has a backup plan, however, as he swiftly kicks Walker in the shin. Walker hobbles a bit, and Wallace follows with a few low kicks and then runs to the ropes, returning with a dropkick to the knee that sends Walker to the mat. Wallace returns to his feet, posing with a cheesy grin that gets the crowd angry. Wallace places a few well-guided stomps to the knee joint of Walker, focusing over his left leg. He grabs him around the leg now and pulls back, wrapping his own legs around it and falling to the mat with a knee bar. Walker is in the middle of the ring, being stretched by this young punk. But for anyone who knows Sean Walker, you know he’s too proud to tap out…
Walker uses his free leg to stomp on the stomach and chest of Wallace, forcing a break before any severe damage is done. Walker hobbles back to his feet, and Wallace stares at the leg, knowing he’s going to make it his target during the mat. Sean and Wallace move back toward the middle of the ring. Wallace goes for a kick to the stomach, but Walker catches it and trips him. He tries to apply a Boston crab, but Wallace quickly maneuvers his way to the ropes, forcing a break. Walker pulls him back into the ring the hard way, pulling his legs up and causing Wallace’s back to smack off the canvas. Wallace returns to his feet, holding his back, and Walker lays into him with hard right jabs to the jaw. He nails a discus lariat that sends Wallace into the mat, and Walker hobbles toward the ropes. He steps over the top rope and onto the apron. Wallace gets to his feet and Walker prepares to strike Wallace with Heat Lightning, but Wallace dropkicks the top rope, causing Walker to trip and flip off! The fans groan as Sean grabs his knee, holding it in pain, as Wallace grabs his leg again and this time drops down with his weight on the joint and applies a leg lock, pulling back on the knee.
The fans begin clapping and cheering as chants of “God of Thun-der!” (clap, clap, clap-clap-clap) echo throughout the Coliseum here in Hampton. Walker manages to fight out of it and get the ropes, and it’s evident that Sean has been underestimating this newcomer a bit. Wallace pulls Walker back to his feet and sets up a suplex… but Sean quickly blocks it and nails the Lightning Spiral! One, two, thr-NO! He almost got the win over Wallace there, but Jay narrowly escapes the move. Wallace goes back to kicking Walker’s knee, and Sean gets to the ropes, forcing a break. Jay disrespects the referee by shoving him out of the way and grabs Walker, but Sean connects with a hard back elbow to the face. Wallace staggers back, holding his face, but he charges Walker… and takes a spinebuster for his efforts! Walker is battling back, hobbling a bit, but he’s fighting back. He screams at Wallace to get back to his feet, and he complies, taking a hard shot to the face.
Walker pulls Wallace in, setting up a double arm DDT. The DEFinition quickly knees Walker in the stomach and then kicks him in the leg again. Jay decides it’s time for Walker to Drift Out~! He hooks the leg… one, two, thr-NO! Walker kicks out of one of Wallace’s patented maneuvers. Jay shows a bit of frustration for the first time in this match, but he tries to go back to work on Walker’s leg. He attempts to apply a figure four, but Walker rolls him into an inside cradle for two. Wallace gets back to his feet, but Walker gets to his quickly as well, feeding off the energy of the crowd. Wallace runs into a hard lariat that knocks him down. The crowd cheers for Walker as he shakes off his knee and knocks Wallace down again with a discus clothesline. Walker grabs Wallace into a reverse facelock and attempts the Aftershock, but Wallace drops to the mat and kicks Walker in the head. Sean staggers into the ropes and Wallace gets to his feet, charging. Walker gets a boot up to the jaw that sends Wallace into the mat, and Sean climbs onto the apron…
Let’s try this one again. Wallace gets to his feet… HEAT LIGHTNING BETA~! Walker takes Wallace down, showing incredibly agility. He crawls over and makes the cover, but Wallace, to his credit, kicks out before three. Walker limps back to his feet and motions for Wallace to get up again. Wallace is on a knee, and Walker charges, looking for the Shining Thunder. Wallace manages to jump to his feet before the move connects and sidesteps the knee before grabbing Walker from behind… SWIFT COLLAPSE! Wallace makes the cover… one, two, NO! Walker kicks out… Sean Walker may be the most durable man in professional wrestling.
Jay Wallace decides it’s time to unleash the big guns and pulls Walker back to his feet. He attempts the Redefinition, his swinging reverse Russian leg sweep, but Walker blocks it with a few punches to the face. Walker charges and goes for a clothesline, but Wallace ducks under and locks on a sleeper hold. Walker quickly backs into the corner, sandwiching Wallace against the turnbuckles. Jay staggers out, and Walker hoists him onto his shoulders, looking for some type of military press. However, Walker can’t hold him up, as Wallace slips out and rolls behind him into a schoolboy! He pulls the tights… one, two, thre-NO! Walker barely escapes… Wallace almost stole one from the legend.
Walker returns to his feet and gets caught with a kick to the stomach. Wallace is in full control now as he runs to the ropes, but Walker connects with a vicious palm strike to the face on his return. Wallace gets driven into the canvas! Walker hooks the leg… one, two, three! What a contest!
Winner: Sean “Thunder” Walker via Pinfall at 18:25
The fans give both men a standing ovation, but especially Walker, as he has shown the world that without the drugs, without the glitzy bullsh*t, deep down inside, he is a professional wrestler and can hold his own in the ring against the youngest, hungriest bastards the business has to offer.
Main Event:
Dimitri versus Drake Vinaldi
Exhibition: PWW World Title Tournament
And now, it’s time for our main event of the evening, as two martial artists embattle for the right to advance in the tournament to crown the new World Heavyweight Champion of Pro Wrestling Warriors. The 7’4 Russian karate master, the former Scorpius, Dimitri, versus the “Sicilian Shooter” Drake Vinaldi, in what will surely be a display of stiff combat. It’s hard to pick a favorite in this contest. Dimitri is a former champion in GWF and his most obvious assets are his size, strength, and durability. Drake Vinaldi’s kicks have been described as crisp, accurate, and lethal. What he lacks in size, he makes up in pure obstinacy and drive. While many would place Dimitri as the favorite in this contest, it must be remembered that Vinaldi has recently defeated a larger man – Kaimutsu – in one-on-one combat. Dimitri has made a career of being one of the most intimidating figures in wrestling. Will the presence of the giant strike fear in the heart of the former PWW World Champion tonight, or will Vinaldi overcome a great obstacle and advance in the tournament?
Vinaldi is pretty cautious in the early going, throwing a few quick kicks that don’t really connect with much impact. As Dimitri looms over the ex-champion, Vinaldi seems a bit content with quickly pressing the action and then backing off. Dimitri goes to grab Drake, but he ducks under and fires a series of five kicks to the leg that snap off so quickly that you can barely see where one kick ends and the other begins… Vinaldi backs off quickly, and Dimitri grabs his leg, grinning sadistically as if he enjoys the pain. Vinaldi quickly runs forward, dropkicking the leg of the former Scorpius. It seems Drake is looking to use a similar strategy that Wallace used against Walker in our last match, focusing on the leg. However, that comes to a screeching halt when Dimitri delivers a clothesline that sends Vinaldi on a full revolution and sends him into the canvas. Drake grabs his head but doesn’t even have time to get back to his feet before the Russian Monster nails an elbow drop to the spine.
Drake finds out the hard way why Dimitri is such a feared man in the business. The Russian Legacy wraps his mighty hands around Drake’s throat and throws him into the corner with ease, before unloading with punches to the midsection. Drake gets pretty f*cked up, for lack of a more technical term, before Dimitri nails a sidewalk slam that gets a two count. Vinaldi rolls out of the ring, looking for a break, as Dimitri stands in the squared circle, seeming even mightier than before. The PWW fans are shocked at how easily Dimitri overpowered the most popular wrestler in Pro Wrestling Warriors. The crowd is on Vinaldi’s side for sure, as all the fans are chanting for him to go after Dimitri. Drake gets back in the ring, and Dimitri wants a test of strength. He holds his hand up and Drake… quickly kicks him in the leg and backs off. The fans cheer. Dimitri is less than pleased with Vinaldi’s tact.
Dimitri charges Vinaldi, but Drake moves out of the way and rolls through, getting back to his feet. He nails a dropkick that doesn’t even stun this big monster. Drake throws himself as the former Scorpius, but he gets caught and tossed overhead with a belly-to-belly suplex that drops Drake on his back and neck! Vinaldi gets to his feet, holding his neck, and Dimitri connects with a kick that sends Vinaldi through the ropes and to the outside floor again! Discontent with not attacking Vinaldi, he follows the Sicilian Shooter on the outside. The fans boo Dimitri as he grabs Drake and Irish whips him into the steel guardrail. Dimitri charges, but Drake counters with a drop toehold that sends him face-first onto the top of the steel guardrail! Dimitri could’ve cracked a tooth on that… Jesus.
Drake places Dimitri over the guardrail now and climbs onto the steel guardrail himself… before delivering a mushroom stomp to the back that causes all 410 pounds of this mammoth of a man to flip forward and crash against the chairs in the crowd. Vinaldi knows he’s got Dimitri reeling, so he… heads back to the ring. What a coward. The fans begin booing Vinaldi, but he holds a finger up. Drake climbs to the top rope as Dimitri stands up in the crown. HOLY SHHIIIIIIIIITAKE MUSHROOMS~! Drake flies off the top rope with a crossbody on Dimitri in the crowd, clearing about 15 feet! The crowd goes absolutely, positively nuts for the Shooter.
Drake returns to his feet and grabs a couple chairs, tossing them over the guardrail. One goes into the ring and the other lands at ringside. Vinaldi leaps over the guardrail and yells as Dimitri to come on. Vinaldi rolls inside the ring and back out, not wanting a count out in the main event of War. Dimitri steps over the guardrail as Vinaldi yells at him to bring it. Dimitri hobbles a bit, obviously having taken a bit of punishment in this contest. Vinaldi charges as Dimitri… and dropkicks him so hard in the f*cking stomach that the 410-pound beast topples to the floor! The crowd cheers as Drake grabs a steel chair. The referee yells at him, telling him he can’t use it, but Vinaldi places the chair on the floor. He waits on Dimitri to get to his feet near the guardrails and runs, jumps off the chair… and narrowly misses Dimitri as he manages to sidestep, causing Drake to collide with the steel. The fans groan as Dimitri grabs Drake and throws him back inside the ring before stepping inside himself.
Dimitri has regained control of the contest, as Drake crawls on the mat. A sharp kick to the ribcage stuns Vinaldi and allows Dimitri to apply a camel clutch. The crowd begins chanting for the Sicilian Shooter, hoping he’ll fight out of this hold. Dimitri pulls back on the choke, attempting to force a submission hold, but Vinaldi crawls toward the ropes. After being in the hold for over a minute, he reaches the ropes and finally gets a break… Dimitri seems disappointed.
Dimitri lifts Vinaldi back to his feet and places him in the corner, delivering an overhead chop to the chest that echoes throughout the Hampton Coliseum. Dimitri whips Vinaldi across the ring and charges, but Drake gets both boots up to the jaw of Dimitri, stunning him. Drake unleashes a few quick kicks to the thighs and knees, but Dimitri grabs him around the neck and throws him back into the corner, unloading with a few stiff chops to the chest before placing his boot firmly against the throat of Drake, choking him in the corner. The crowd boos as the ref counts down, forcing Dimitri off. Drake stuns Dimitri by kicking him right afterward, going after his kneecap. He fires a few more kicks to the knees that drops Dimitri to the mat, and you know what’s next… KILLING BLOW~! Drake hooks the legs… one, two, NO! Dimitri somehow kicks out of Vinaldi’s vicious kick to the head. Drake is stunned and climbs to the top rope…
Dimitri grabs the referee, and with one hand shoves him into the ropes, causing Vinaldi to fall and get crotched on the top. Dimitri pulls Drake in closer… and nails a hanging DDT, a modified Bukkorosu! Cover… one, two… Drake gets his foot on the lower rope… Dimitri pulls Vinaldi back to his feet and chops him in the chest, echoing throughout the arena again. He whips Vinaldi across the ring and goes for a big boot, but Vinaldi ducks under and quickly sweeps Dimitri’s other leg, sending him to the mat with a big thud! Vinaldi runs to the ropes, getting a lot of momentum… and nails a running version of the Lunatic High! Cover… one, two, NO! Dimitri once again kicks out, and Vinaldi is stunned.
Vinaldi makes a cutthroat motion and jumps on Dimitri’s back, applying a dragon clutch. The fans cheer as Vinaldi seemingly has the former Scorpius right where he wants him, in the middle of the ring with a submission hold. After fighting for a moment, Scorpius gets to a knee and finally gets to a vertical base. The persistent Vinaldi hangs on his back, but Dimitri connects with a hard overhead blow to the skull. He pulls Drake forward… and nails a shortened version of the Gekimutsu, his modified Schwein! He covers… one, two, thr-Drake narrowly avoids defeat by getting a shoulder off the mat.
Vinaldi is clearly drained after trying to put away this monster… Dimitri prepares to end it all by lifting Vinaldi to his feet and placing a hand around his throat, choking him. He points to the sky, signaling the Eternal Darkness. He goes for the move, but Vinaldi counters at its peak by wrapping his legs around Dimitri’s arm and neck and applying a triangle choke! He hangs from this mountain of a man as Dimitri sort of swings Vinaldi around, trying to escape. He eventually lifts Drake and drops to the mat, powerbombing him! The Russian Monster can’t go for an immediate cover, having expended quite a bit of energy there, but when he does, Vinaldi is able to kick out again.
Dimitri seems annoyed by the resilience of his opponent and begins choking Drake right in front of the ref. The referee yells as Dimitri, but he intimidates him by getting in his face, forcing the referee off. Dimitri lifts Drake to the top rope and places a throat around his hand. He’s setting up a super chokeslam… but Drake begins biting his hand! Vinaldi kicks Dimitri right in the face, stunning him. He forces Dimitri’s head down and jumps off the top rope with a mushroom stomp to the back! Dimitri is stunned as he tries to battle back to a vertical base. Dimitri takes a stiff kick to the head and falls to the mat. Drake goes to the top rope… 450 Splash! He hooks the leg… one, two, NO! Dimitri again kicks out, stunning Vinaldi…
What will it take to put this monster away?! Vinaldi again climbs to the top rope… LUNATIC HIGH! MISSES! Dimitri moves out of the way. Drake rolls forward and gets in the corner. Dimitri is back up… TORPEDO DROPKICK! Dimitri takes another hard kick to the abdomen that causes him to fall in the corner. Drake places a boot on the face of Dimitri and gives him a face wash. He runs to the opposite set of ropes and returns with a jumping dropkick into the face of the GWF legend! Vinaldi manages to roll this monstrous 410-pounder back toward the middle of the ring to cover, but Dimitri powers out of the pin. Vinaldi waits on Dimitri to get on his knees and ferociously kicks him in the chest. He nails another stiff kick to the chest and finally delivers a Killing Blow! Drake isn’t done yet… He climbs to the top rope… LUNATIC HIGH! Vinaldi hooks the far leg… one, two, three!
Winner: Drake Vinaldi via Pinfall at 22:18
It took damn near every ounce of strength Vinaldi had, but he puts away the monster to advance in the tournament…
The crowd cheers as Vinaldi grabs the microphone from ringside.
Drake Vinaldi:
Now that’s how it f*ckin’ should be.
The fans roar with their approval for the Shooter.
Drake Vinaldi:
You’re lookin’ at the next PWW World Heavyweight Champion…

Nick Nexus versus Johnny Reed

Cavallo pulls Malice to his feet, beginning to hit him with hard rights to the side of the face, Cavallo goes to irish whip Malice into the corner, but Malice reverses it, turns the other direction and sends Cavallo right into the referee! Cavallo stumbles backwards as the referee hits the mat, Malice drops Cavallo with a quick reverse DDT and hooks the leg. He then looks over at the referee and realizes that the vulnerable ref is knocked out. Malice looks frustrated as he begins to try and wake the referee up, the referee begins to stir as Malice turns around, BAH! Cavallo hits the Time Traveler out of nowhere!
Match nine:
187 versus Brett Stokes
Exhibition: PWW World Title Tournament
The fans get on their feet and roar with cheers as the man from Philadelphia, the bad ass from the wrong side of the tracks, 187, makes his way to the ring. Brett Stokes eagerly awaits the arrival of his opponent in this first round contest. 187 gets in the ring and stares down Stokes, who mouths off to the troubled man.

It took damn near every ounce of strength Vinaldi had, but he puts away the monster to advance in the tournament…
