well even if we cant see it, I think Velocity can see who votes for who. being it's his thread and a mod so he can view it...the earlier polls were public, but the last two I think Velocity forgot to make them public.

You are missing the point... there are two votes for a5s, and only Velocity posted he voted for him. I just don't know who is the other person who voted for him.

You look at some of the earlier polls, and the same thing has happened.

Well of course you would post your reason for voting. You been at GW for some time now. But in my opinion, it's not a good idea to show which people vote for because it may persuade someone to vote for that person, and it is unfair. Velocity would be the one to monitor the voting.

I was looking at the posts in this thread and can only say this.

Give it up. People vote and don't post. It's not an anomaly here, or anywhere for that matter, so deal with it. A vote for somebody is a vote regardless of whether or not the voter leaves an explanation. Yes, it's only natural for many to do so, but others don't feel the need (like DMC here).

Also, the polls won't be public.

yeah its gonna happen so Im not worried about it. and its a good idea not to have the poll public, cause what if someone gets 0 votes on a public poll they can see who voted for who, and possibly hold a grudge against someone (sounds stupid cuz its only the internet but I've seen it happen a few times in the C&C threads, and then arguements flare up and its lost its fun) and esp. if favorites are played.

there are a few times were I thought I wouldnt post a reason, just because it kinda looked liked I was pickin favorites. but in all the contests so far everyones photo is great, and I honestly vote for the one that grabs my attention the most. if Johnmark had a different photo I would of voted for a5s.

and to try to keep me from pickin favorites (which I do have) when I open the photos, I click on the links random and fast so when they load I dont know whose is whose until I decide then figure it out from the links whose picture it is.

Right. Reason. Forgot. I'm the one that voted for Dave. I had to read a book so I was in a hurry.

Dave's pic is not overly blurred and you can see the whole car. Although the really blurred one gives a great sense of speed.

I voted Dave myself. I love the look of the picture in general. It looks like to me, that the car is going pretty fast, because the camera man didn't have time to get it in the center of the shot. ;)

Oh and with my vote, that pushes Dave over the top. :P

Hmmm... the redesigned UI looks peculiar...

But anyway, to be on topic, some more reasons I voted for Dave. It's a nice 3/4 view, the hydraulic spoiler looks great in that position, and to me it looks like it's zooming by a speed camera.

Its really awesome that I started these contests. It boosted up activity and people's creativity. Especially mine!!! :dunce: j/k. The original contest was a blast. I hope this continues for a long time, as I'm planning on staying.
