A voice, a deep, glorious, wonderful voice called down from the heavens.

Soleo looked up into the sky.

"You need to use better punctuation."

The voice called down, furious in its...rage.

"YOU DARE QUESTION THE GRAMMAR KING'S PUNCUATION?!?"

"I think your language could a bit of work, kind sir. Also, penises are no laughing matter, so your grammar king title is no longer an acceptable excuse."

The voice was a bit more curious now.

"Hmm, what problem did you find with it, as a point of interest? Also, I don't care, I still claim the title."

"You made it seem as if it was spoken by one person. Rem! ONTO SOL'JIN!"

After hours of meaningless arguments between the great god Ryan and the pitiful peasant Soleo, they finally arrived.

"Hey, Sol, do you remember what the flower shop was called?" asked Remy.

[Aura]

"Yes. The Shining Pistil flower shop."

Remy laughed.

"Smart. How many splits back was that?"

They continued this conversation as they tied off on the pier.

[Aura]

"Three splits ago. So, where is the flower shop? Should we wait until morning?"

[Addicted to Oi!]

"Nah, it's dawn. Might as well go now, it'll be morning by the time we get there," Remy said.

Rayne spoke up.

"Hang on, why are we going to a flower shop?"

[Aura]

"That is what I was thinking. We are going to see a guy about the Order."

"Why a flower shop, though? If they're an Order, they should have something a bit...grander, right?"

OOC: Rogue Galaxy is pissing me off. First, I can't find the second Factory Key. Second, it overheats my PS2, and the menus and dialog can't load for crap.

OOC: Factory key? I don't remember that. All I remember is that the factory was annoying as hell.

"That is exactly what I was thinking."

OOC: Did your PS2 ever have the heat problems? That's the only thing I don't like about RG.

Rayne laughed with a good bit of mirth.

"Well, great minds think alike, I suppose. Now, let's go find it."

Rayne jumped off the boat, not even bothering with the gangplank, and started running up the dock.

[Aura]

OOC: Never, actually.

"Remy, did he just call my mind 'great?'"

"Surprised me too," said Remy as he walked down to the pier. Tatrianna and Evo followed suit.

[Aura]

"He finds himself so great, and all others are wrong. Grr. Anyway, to the flower shop. But first, Flare Guard! For protection."

"Oh, no I don't, Sol. Just you. I respect Remy and Evo very much, and yet to have really talked to Tat, but I do not judge her."

Rayne was hanging upside-down from a lamp on the corner of the street.

"Also, this is a pretty calm place. You don't need the Guard."

"I don't find myself better than everybody else! Also, you look like a bat."

He laughed.

"Ha, not at all what I meant. What I said was that I only find myself better than YOU, but even you have some pretty endearing moments."

"You know, I really wanted this to be a serious RP, not one where Ryan treats me like I treat Carnane and Shane."

"It is. This is character development, an intergral part of any self-respecting RPG. Now, are we going?"

Rayne had jumped down by now.

"You haven't known me for very long. You have no right to judge me. We are going to the Shining Pistil flower shop."

"Actually, just knowing you for a small while gave me justification. It's only if you don't know a person at all that you can't judge. Plus, judgements have a tendency to change."

"You still have much to learn about me. Anyway, onto the flower shop."

They soon reached the marketplace at the interior of the town, a hustling, bustling place of foreign people, exotic goods, and exorbitant prices. The Shining Pistil could not be seen, though, for they had no idea of where such a shop was.

Soleo began asking random people where the Shining Pistil was.

One man was particularly helpful.

"Oh, yeah, it's over on the west side, near the fish market."

After regrouping with the party, Soleo told them of the shop's whereabouts. Remy had a question, though.

"Hey, Sol, what was the guy's name?"

OOC: Merely a quiz.

"We are going to go see Burt, that demon's former aid."

Remy nodded.

"Well, there it is. Let's walk in...in slow-mo."

[Aura]

"No, I say that we walk at a brisk pace."

OOC: "No, ma'am, this is Area 51A."

While Soleo made it in first, the rest of the group, even Rayne, walked in perfect slow-motion towards the shop. Obvious intrigued, the clerk asked Soleo about it.

"What's with you? Slow-mo is obviously better. Well, nevermind. Hello, my name is Burt, how can I help you?"

[Aura]

"Hath sent me."

[Addicted to Oi!]

The blood drained from Burt's face, and he cursed.

"I thought this was all over...I can't face this again. I can't face the death."

[Aura]

"I was just sent here to learn about the Order. What?"

[Addicted to Oi!]

Burt sighed, and held his head in hands.

"I bet you know the story, the genocide. I tried to distance myself from all of the memories, the horror. Hath was able to deal with it much better than myself, he had come from a clan of battle-ready demons, ones that killed everyday. I had been a priest, a supporter, a healer, not a warrior."

He started to sob slightly.

"It was the most humbling sight I had ever seen, my bretheren dying before me in the name of greed, of power-struggles. So petty, and yet it could cause such a hard impact. It wasn't right, it isn't! We were only trying to help, and the kings and rulers made us martyrs."

[Aura]

"Do you want me to give you some alone time?"

The man collected himself.

"No, no, I'm fine. But, I wonder why you seek the Order...we died long ago."

[Aura]

"We need members. I am about to start a war, and I NEED fighters. We are going to liberate the Drow from the dwarves."

[Addicted to Oi!]

"Ahh, the Drow...quite the tragedy. I appologize for what the elves did to you, noble Drow," Burt said with a slight bow to Rayne.

"But I'm afraid our numbers are few and far between, young warrior. The Remnants, as we call ourselves, are scattered. Your best bet would be to find the Smith, and he's very reclusive."

[Aura]

"Oddly enough, he is the one who informed me about the Order."

"Well, that doesn't make sense. Wait, hold on, how do you even know of the Order?"

OOC: How'd you like it? I know it needs a rewrite, maybe, but for a first draft I thought it was okay.

[Aura]

OOC: I didn't read it yet.

"The smith, as well as your master, told me about it."

OOC: I see. Well, this is my first C&C RP, and I really need some help.

Burt chuckled.

"Master? Oh, no, not master. Colleague, ally, comrade, but not master. And he doesn't just reveal himself to random little boys."

"A wraith of the smith told me where he was staying."

"The smith...well, this is an interesting turn. I would seek him out, but I have no clue of his current whereabouts. He has gone into seclusion from everyone, including his own allies."

"When I fought his wraith, I felt that something was bothering him."

"Hmm? His wraith? Oh, this is quite intriguing. Please, go on."

OOC: I like how Joe completely blasted Magneto's idea of me modding. It makes me feel "oh so special." :(

Burt dissapeared into the back room of the shop.

"Rem, he might want you, as well. Come on."

Soleo walked into the back room.

OOC: As of now, I don't have any warnings.

OOC: As of now, I have 4 warnings and one caution, but warnings don't mean d*ck. I mean, seriously, I knew a guy that had 9 and wasn't banned or anything.

The pair followed Burt into the back room, a dark, torch lit chamber. Burt sooned stopped dead in his tracks.

"What I'm about to show you cannot be told to anyone else but the Smith."

He placed his hands over a block of stone, muttered a few incoherent chants, and let go. Where solid rock had been once before, now showed a shelf with many different weapons on it.

"Behold, nearly half of the Dragonic Arms."

OOC: Dragonic Arms are made from dragon bones, right?

Soleo simply looked, shocked and in awe.

OOC: No, nothing that crude, but close. To get the essence of the dragon's power, they would remove the heart, and harness its energy using containment magic, like a very Spirit Seal. Then, they would infuse that into the weapon. The only person that could make a weapon of such high quality was the Smith. Sorry, never quite explained it. Oh, and that person was my old alt account, supervegito21, before Kendo-Swordsman.

"Yes, I have been collecting these over the years to keep them out of the wrong hands. It's been an arduous task, though, because the Arms are few and far between, and some of the people I came across actually knew of their power. But, from what I know, the Smith never contacted any of them."

"You're fighting none of them yet, Soleo," mentioned Remy.

"He was just saying that the mages are near, and they might spot you. We should probably get out of here quickly. But to where?"

"How about we get to wherever the Drow are? And this town could use a little clearing out, don't you think?"

Remy looked around at the nearly pristine Sol'jin.

"Actually, it looks good from here. Why?"

[Aura]

"I meant do you want to clear out a few dark mages? If not, we can go back to the ship."

"Well, I suppose so, but I'm not even sure where to go," said Remy.

Come, Soleo, I'm strong but not entirely immortal, I don't have a millenium.

"One sec, Rem."

Soleo looked around.

"Blacksmith?"

"Sol, I heard him too," Remy said with a grin.

Ahh, you got the bow. That bastard killed one of the only Order members that weilded a Dragonic Arm, and killed many more people. If anyone deserves it, it's you, Remy.

Now, I've followed your exploits, and I have some advice, as well as predictions. Sol, the next blue moon is in one week. You must drop your sister off. Also, tell her that since she carries the wound of the Wild, she will always be connected to it, as she understands the ferocity as well as the fear in it. The wolf was scared, just like all other emotions that we take for granted. She will pass.

"I'll tell her. Thanks."

Soleo turned to Burt.

"What do you know about the dark mage Tatrianna?"

"I'm right here, Sol," said Tatrianna. Indeed, she was still there.

"I thought that only the two of us were allowed into the back room."

[Addicted to Oi!]

"No, we all came, Sol," said Evo.

"So, are you in any way particularly suspicious of me?" asked Tat.

[Aura]

"Well, you tried to kill me...is this the third time? Let me count. The bear, you, and Rayne. Yep. Three."

"How did I try to kill you, and how is Rayne or the bear my responsibility?" asked Tatrianna in a very defensive voice. Soleo was angering her.

[Aura]

"Damn, you get angry or upset at everything. Go get some black eyeshadow, emo. I never said that Rayne OR the bear had anything to do with you...hey...I have an idea. Rayne, come with me, please. Outside."

Soleo walked outside.

Rayne followed him, obviously amused by the dialogue.

"You know, she's right. You did say 'You tried to kill me...is this the third time?' You blamed it on her. But, what was your plan?"

[Aura]

Soleo looked around to make sure that nobody was around, then he whispered into Rayne's ear "You could turn me in, saying that I had died. I could then open my eyes, use the power of the harpoon, and kill the evil WHILE taking the money. What do you think?"

Rayne looked hard into Soleo's eyes.

"I underestimated you, Soleo Raes, but alas, it won't work. I've gone over and over that plan and many others involving non-violent resolutions, but they always seem to go awry because of that ONE variable: they're a lot more powerful than I thought. Getting in would be a problem in in of itself, but I'm patient. The Order seems like the best way now, and your sister is really worried about you being so gung-ho about going after those Mages. Don't make her worry like that."

[Aura]

"I just don't want to see people suffer. I want to make the solution that works the best for everybody."

Rayne nodded.

"I understand. But right now, more people need you up here than down there. I'll come back, but not right now. I'll be much more effective to my people underground."

Rayne set off down the Sol'jin road.

[Aura]

Soleo simply stood there, confused.

"He finds me worthy if he doesn't want to kill me."

[Addicted to Oi!]

Rayne yelled back.

"Pretty much. But, really, I find you worthy because you seem to know where your priorities should lie. I like that in a fighter, and a person. I can't kill that person, or put him in danger. Seems wrong, don't you think?"

[Aura]

"You are a good person. Do me a favor. The next time you leave wherever you live, stop by a city called Revald. I'll be waiting there."

Rayne smiled.

"I'll be sure to, Raes. Up near Raijin, right?"

Soleo was surprised, and Rayne simply laughed.

"I've been scouting you for a while. Plus, you guys are a bit overtly visible in the Cursed Light, especially to a hooded guy in the corner."

[Aura]

"So, you've been stalking us? Well, it doesn't matter. I'll be back there soon."

Rayne walked down to the docks and out of sight. Tatrianna stood there, fuming.

"Why did you say what you had said before? I don't get it, I did nothing to you!"

Remy stuck up for her, as well.

"You were pretty harsh, Sol. She's been through a lot."

"I know. However, you said that you were going to."

[Addicted to Oi!]

"But I didn't, did I? I told you, I repented for my sins, and I fear for their karmic results each day."

[Aura]

"...You really are odd. So, Rem, what now?"

[Addicted to Oi!]

"Well, I say we go back to Evo's home, and then wait for the Smith's directions."

[Aura]

"Okay. Let's go back to the boat."

OOC: I checked both her's and yours, and I couldn't find the source of said argument. What exactly happened?

The group walks back to the boat, Rem and Tatrianna hanging back a bit, leaving Evo to talk to Soleo.

"So, why are we going back home?"

[Aura]

"A blue moon is coming. You bear the wound of the Wild. You can pass the test. Show them your courage."

"Wound of the Wild? Wha...?"

They had boarded the ship by now, and we off on their way to home.
