GW Fantasy Football League Season II Sign Ups (GWFL)

Its here people!!! The return of the GWFL. Here is the sign up thread. Remember, this league will takes lots of time and effort, so anyone who signs up for it, please, be committed and in it for the long haul. There are nine open spots. Me and smash (the owners) are already in, and Eye gets a chance to defend his title. You dont have to post your team name yet, just make sure you get it in before we start drafting. Anyone who takes an excessivley long time to pick a name will be "PICK A TEAM NAME ALREADY!!!" In memory of the not so great Pontus.

And we have made a few small changes. There will no longer be a +/- 5 for points allowed for defensive players. Fantasy football is not a team sport. Also, remember you are not required to draft anything, just make sure your roster is all right before week 1.

For the newcomers, we do everything manually here in the forums. Set line ups, add/drop free agents, and we even draft here. Its all done right here on GW. And we also draft defensive players, except for Patrick Kerney. Anyone who takes him, will be laughed at for all eternity.

But as for my team name, I tried to think of something intimidating, so that every week it would make people say "Damn, I have to play ____!"

So I decided on THE RAIDERS The 'Roid Droids. All professional athletes use 'em anyways. Who wants to play a bunch of beefed up hormonal athletes?

He asked me to reserve him a spot, and he was really looking forward to this, so I'm not going to be a jerk. He'd have signed up by now if he wasn't away. I would have done this for just about anyone. He reserved a spot.

Also, my position sucks so hard. You guys lucked out. I think XZ has the same spot as last year, but I'm not sure about that. Somebody needs to pick Tom Brady before Eye or else... I'll kick him out of the league. Remember guys, you are allowed to trade picks and players but until the draft ends, each party must lose the same amount of things. In other words, there are no 2-for-1 or 3-for-1 trades until the draft ends. So if you guys want to start trading picks or whatever, go right ahead.

We swap 1st and 2nd round draft spots and 4th round draft spots. What does that mean exactly? You go later in the 1st round, earlier in the 2nd round, and earlier in the 4th round. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me.

Haha, I can think of no better way than using a hat to choose divisions and draft order. Hats are great too! They cover your head, keeping it away from the heat...have a visor to cover eyes...and if your team is trailing, you flip it inside out and it becomes a rally hat!
