I was thinking it may be fun if we all start a game on FM using the same team and same database and after that compare our progress. I would be completely open to suggestion on team/league/update/size so let me know if your game

I'd certainly be well up for this. We could do a lot of different things with it. There should certainly be an element of difficulty so that we can slide either way. Perhaps a League One side, or a struggling Championship outfit?

A real chalenge would be one of those Pays Basque clubs that only accept players from Pays Basque. It adds a whole new spin to the game.

That is certainly a real challenge, though perhaps we should have something with more flexibility for our first game.

Anybody have any local clubs of their's that they'd like us to take on? Tranmere and Chester are my local suggestions.

Cheltenham surviving is hard.

Rotherham surviving is hard.

Hinckley are awesome.

Cambridge United or Cambridge City. Also I'd be very interested in being a part of this, so long as it gets the go ahead. And again, either of the Cambridge sides would be a challenge.

Scarborough are the worst off team in the English leagues to begin with.

-10 points in Conference North.

Doing well with TNS, the Welsh Champions, in Europe is always hard.

I'd rather go with a professional club to begin with. That way there's scope to go up or down, bigger range of possible players, more possibility of unlikely cup runs etc. I just think it would be better to go for something like that first time round. Rather than people being stuck in the Conference North/South forever it allows people to slide one way or the other.

I take your point, if it was someone from the championship or leagues 1 or 2 then there is room to go both ways
