Well many people like myself have nick names. I thought we could use this thread to post your own and how you got it or comment on others. So i'll start off with mine which is Jesus. I got this coz of my long hair.

Ants is the official GW Jesus, damn you. Personal Jesus qualifies too, I guess.

All my nicknames come down to variations of Vicky. To the point where they turn into things like Bixingstable, thanks to Frik. That's GW though. In life it's pretty much the same, only it's variations of my last name. Fefilova. Turns into things like Feffers. Goddamnit.

Well, I dunno how the hell my nickname started. My friend had started calling me Lego Hair, because he said and quote "it looks like you take your f***ing hair off."

...so I came up with a nickname for him, "K-Nex", cuz it looks like he snaps his hair in.

I haven't got any nick names myself. But my friend has an unusual one. We call him Ploppy because he fell and his face landed about 3 inches away from cow sh!t. Another friend of ours; who at the time was wasted, randomly pointed at him and yelled Ploppy. From then on he's been known as Ploppy.

Well, I nickname everyone I come into contact with :P

My nicknames include Joe (just a shortinin' of my name Joseph), Joey, Zep, and "Guy under the hair".

My frieds got tired of Joe though so they began callin' me every "J" name in the book. Jake, John, Jimmy, Dr. Jeckles, and Jughead. They are currently on Jason. Jason irritates me the most for some reason :P

The nicknames I have are mostly variations of Iván (huh, that's my name). So I'm stuck hearing crap like Ivancito/Ivancho/Ivanchu/Ivi/Ivandroide (that's a mixture of Iván and android fyi) and Ivana (though the explanation for that one is a story for another time).

My nick name should be fairly obvious. I got given it about a year before I joined Gamewinners, and it's stuck ever since.

There's a girl that calls me Jamby all the time.

I really only have 3 nicknames, excluding variations of my name (Kevin). Those are Stubbs, Hawk, and K-Stub. Stubbs is a shortened version of my last name (with an s at the end). Hawk is because I wore a Tony Hawk shirt a long time ago, and some guy couldn't remember my name, so he called me Hawk. It's stuck since then. And K-Stub should be self-explanatory. I don't really like it though.

Forbees; Forbsito; Forbeas; Forbster; and most recently Forbes (the last three letters sound like the first three letters frm "best"). Coach says he calls me the last one because it sounds French. :hmm:

My friend used to call me "Pepper" because she thought Filipino (my ethnicity) sounded like Jalapeño... She stopped calling me that a while ago for some reason.

Well, ever since I started using this name at school for LAN games of Soldier of Fortune, Liero (best game ever! :D) and some others, it just kind of stuck, except for people in year 10, some year 11's and definately below don't know me, but I've got it on the back of my year 12 jumper, so when I wear it (which is VERY occasionally, due to the weather :D) I get a couple of chortles. :D :P

Usually for me it's just Matt. Which isn't technically a nickname, as that's what is on my birth certificate...

At school there were about 5 Matt's, though, so it got a bit confusing... people started calling me Manderson, to differentiate me from the rest of the Matt's. Then one idiot shortened it to Mandy, though luckily he's the only one who calls me that...

Online, since I always try to use some version of Mattimeo, that's become my nickname. Though it seems to get shortened to Matti more than it gets shortened to Matt, for some reason... so now people who I regularly converce with online have started calling me Matti in real life...
