View Full Version : Easiest game for achievements
~Lightning~

I have to say that it's 'Viva Pinata'. In the 3 days I have had it I've also managed to get 660 out of 1000 achievement points with ease. Other than that I believe that Oblivion is easy to get the achievements on, it takes a while but it's pretty damn easy to actually get the points.
Your opinions?

I've heard that King Kong's achievements are pretty easy to get. But the easiest of the games I have is Oblivion, it just takes a lot of time.

King Kong's achievements are pretty easy... the only problem is that to get them you have to PLAY KING KONG :shake: So it's hard to say whether or not it's worth it.
This is the final word on the easiest achievements possible: TMNT
It's the shortest, easiest game, there are no surprises. You get 935 points for merely beating the game, and you get the other 65 by going back and playing the first level without being killed. And it's enough fun to say that it's not as much of a punishment as playing King Kong was... but you'll have the full 1,000 in about 4-6 hours.

The early sports games, there were only at most 8 achievements and most of them were worth over 100 GP each.

College Hoops 2K6.
I got all 5 achievements in one game, that lasted 45 minutes. I agree that all early sports games were the easiest, no contention.
TMNT is close behind.

That reminds me that I gotta finish Viva Pinata... I got 400 points in it quickly, then got sidetracked with something else. I've been putting it off and off and off, and I think I'll start to finish it.
I'm finishing Madden 07 right now. I got 910 in that game in 4-5 days, and then put it down for 5 months. It took me like 4 hours to get 3 achievements in it yesterday. 2 more to go and this crap is done.

NBA 2K6 without a shadow of a doubt. I have rarely ever played any basketball games before, and don't follow the sport. I only bought it due to me wanting to try a few genres that I don't normally play and to expand my horizons (which is when I also bought NFS Most Wanted). It took me half an hour to get all 1000. Incredibly pointless. I did enjoy the game, though.

Yeah, Viva Pinata's achievements are easily attained, but they're very time consuming... and I unfortunately had played for about 43 or 44 hours when I got my 49th achievement :shake:... the game wears pretty thin after that 49th achievement (the 50th is 'play for 50 hours', BTW)

Ok, I've changed my mind. It has to be Samurai Warriors 2: Empires, 4 hours in and I have 650 gamerpoints from it, You basically get 100 for unlocking a scenario and another 50 for performing the title battle along with another 50 if you find a rare horse/get consultations

Harry Potter Ootp 5hours-900/1000 XD only missing the hardest difficulty I thought I had it on hard but i over clicked it.....I thought it seemed to easy lol. Also Viva Piniata is simple 3days and i got all but the 50hour achivment which i couldnt do because i managed 99%completion and had nothing left lol. 3rd would be oblivion with a proper guide and class u can speed through this in a good day or so depending on ur loot and skill and if u can focus i have 1000/1000 and plan on another 250 as soon as i get 30$. Shadowrun has some decently easy achivments that can be gotten by playing it enough. With luck u can get most of them in one day aside from the play 100games as "insert race here" and unless ur really good the 100 of "insert weapon here" achivments

They have Call of Duty 2 as their third easiest game to get achievements in.

That article is ridiculous. Call of Duty 2 shouldn't even be there. It probably wouldn't make a top 20 at the moment. The mere suggestion that getting 1000/1000 on CoD2 is easier than NBA2K6 is just unbelievable.

Pass Time Without Prompts or Delays
Simply press 'X' and choose the Tower of Sour (Up-Right). You can remain here for as long as you like without ever having to worry about a prompt coming up asking you about a pinata request or anything else. Note that your garden will still be in play, and your pinata are likely to get eaten, so this works best on gardens without valuables. This makes getting the 50 hour real-time achievement much easier and faster. Link (http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/xbox360/code/932328.html)

Then, pfft, only 100 kills with each weapon? No problem!
20 wins on all Hidden Fronts maps? Easy!
100 Annex games with 3 captures in each? Ha!
10,000 kills you say? This won't take long at all!

Never said it was extremely easy not did I suggest the game was an "achievement game". But if you are going to do the achievements and do not want to spend 10 to 15 extra hours completing the game on difficulty setting that you could skip then go straight to insane. It's as simple at that.

You could, but it also would take more time in the long run. Since casual is quite a bit easier than hardcore you could actually zoom through the game rather fast.
I obviously wouldn't suggest a casual gamer to jump straight into insane but for someone who is an achievement whore it would be right up there alley.
Hell, even doing the campaign in co-op with a friend would be efficient if done on the highest difficulty. It might even be easier in the long run since. The only bad parts are when you split up.

But that can only be done if you super sim them...to those who don't know super sim was introduced in the 06 game and it has 2 uses I guess. Rather than simming a game, you can super sim it and call each play and your team will respond (if you are losing or something you can go in and play the game). And if you are in the middle of a game you can super sim the rest of it.
As easy as the achievements are...I only have 8 so far. There's no doubt I'll get the 1000 quickly, but I'm finding the game much harder than last year's. And my passing game gets nowhere, and my running game gets even less, and Steven Jackson is my running back! I still haven't hit 100 yards with him!

I would say a couple from Bioshock...
Beating Ryan is the easiest, All you have to do is listen to him for 2 minutes he tells you to kill him then our guy becomes a NPC for a bit and kills him... then...
Achievment Unlocked!
Fountain wasn't that hard either... Just KO him 3 times and then the little sisters come and Pwn him... and that's worth... 100 GS...
Just about half the achievments can be done in 1 run of the game.

Yeah, I just played the demo this morning. it's definitely a classic platformer-style. I fought the giant Lard Lad... he has three hatches on his butt, back, and back-of-the-head. You knock them open with Bart's slingshot, then jump up and start pulling wires and you have to use the character's individual little skills to get high enough to pull the wires. If the other levels are much like this the 'dying ten times' achievement might actually be something of a challenge :)
It won't be the greatest game ever, but as a Simpsons fan I'm certainly going to pick it up.

Well, a couple of the skulls are pretty easy, but the majority are in the weirdest, most hidden away places. Like the one on the Ark, it's on one of the beams of a bridge that you go under, and is nearly impossible to see because it's in a shadow.
