View Full Version : A look in my mind

Screw it, I'm going to do one of these. At first, I considered calling this "Peering into the mind of an idiot", but then I was like "D'oh, PIMI already had that name" so yeah. Anyways, I'm just going to randomly post things here sometimes, usually pertaining to my life, sometimes just crazy writing that I feel like putting down somewhere.

So yeah. First, you gotta know me. I live in a small town in Northern California that you may have heard of: it is the place that Ricky Williams is teaching Yoga at (yet I have never seen him in person). Here, the things to do are pretty much either A)go to the movies B)go to the bowling alley, or C)stay at home. Not too much going on.

I am a Junior at Nevada Union High School, the same place that Greg Anderson (the trainer that hooked Bonds up with steroids) went to, which really shocked me when I found that out. Right now at school, we are signing up for our SENIOR YEAR classes, and I can't wait. Senior year is going to be awesome. And on another note, I have a test...no THE test April 23rd. Good ol' license test. I hope I pass. I don't plan on telling my friends about it, as if I fail I would never hear the end of it.

Anyways, that's what's going on right now in my life. I'll update later. Also, I was thinking about just posting random stories here for comical reasons. Maybe every other week post like a long story about me claiming to be some irrelevent person (like the dude who jumped onto the field at that AFL game last night) and talk about how awesome I am (as in "I'm so cool, I jumped onto the field in an AFL game, and the refs didn't do ANYTHING to me! Of course they didn't, I'm so tall and intimidating that no one walks up to me and tells me to do anything, because I would kick their ass if they talked any smack." kinda thing).

If you have any comments (which you probably do, because I feel like I am coming off as really weird right now), just go ahead and post them in here (I have a question for myself: why am I using so many parentheses? It must be all that math/english that I learned telling me to put things in little half circles if they do not have anything to do with the topic on hand), as it seems that according to Isis' rules you have to ("Update: The Blog Comments forum has been scrapped. You can now reply to people's blogs directly. Editing is also now on. Blog owners can also close/open their blogs."). So go ahead and post comments here.

Well it has been awhile since I wrote in this, my bad. Anywho, back to point.

So school finally stopped for Spring Break. Nothing is better than a nice break from all the pressure of school. And even better, no homework to do during the entire break. Although I probably won't do too much, I'm still happy that it is Spring Break.

And in my sports fan section, it's pretty sweet. Baseball season started, A's are about .500 which is great. As long as they hover around there, they will be in the playoffs, because after the all star break, BAM! they will be on fire. The Kings suck, but hopefully suck enough to get a good draft pick. The Raiders...well we'll wait to comment on them. And then, some no name guy swooped in and took the Masters. Who honestly thought Tiger would lose? I didn't. I still thought he could knock in that one from 140 yards out on 18 to send it to the playoffs.

And I have had a Rubix Cube for ages, and just decided to work it out for some odd reason (my friend thinks it's because of The Pursuit of Happyness but I havn't seen that movie). I've gotten okay at it, I can get one face then 2x3 around the rest, but no further than that. I'll keep working at it. My goal is to have it done by the end of break; if not then, then by the end of the school year.

And I think I'll try and make myself a sig. I accomplished Step 1: deleting my current sig. Now it's on to Step 2: collecting images of whatever I am going to base my sig on.

And by the way everyone, Happy Easter. But if you watch South Park, you know that it is all a hoax, just like the DaVinci Code!

Well, not much is going on. Pretty much, I have just been focusing on school for these past few weeks. I had spring break which was really good, but other than that nothing. Tomorrow I have my license test. I better pass it.

I saw two movies this weekend that were both pretty good. The Good Shepherd, the CIA movie with Matt Damon, was a peek into the life of one of the CIA's former agents. Quite interesting, yet a bit confusing. I also saw Blood Diamond which I thought was a really great movie. It showed the war that is going on in Africa to this day over diamonds. I recommend both of them, but I'd see Blood Diamond over The Good Shepherd.

Lots of upsets happened in the NBA Playoffs today. Pretty crazy. I am looking forward to more games. Even though Golden State had beaten up Dallas during the regular season, I never thought they would beat them in the playoffs. How about that? Could an 8th seed really dethrone a 1 seed?

I'll edit a wee bit more in this post tomorrow, but I must go to bed right now. Early day tomorrow, and it is nearly 11:00.

I enjoyed The Good Shepard up until the last 20 minutes or so until I lost what the crap was going on and who was who.

Those were my exact thoughts. I was tryin to work the whole thing through, then at the ending I was like "Wait, who was that? What's going on? Is that guy Ulysses?". So confusing. Blood Diamond was a lot more straight forward with its message about the violence over the diamonds over there. Deja Vu comes out soon, and I gotta get that. It looks great, and all I've heard is that it is great.

And GAHHH the A's put Rich Harden on the DL. I hate it, he can only stay healthy for like 3 starts before he gets injured. It is like having Mark Prior, except Harden is a better pitcher (in my opinion). Hopefully we can still win without him.

And because of "No Child Left Behind" Testing, we had block scheduling today. Pretty interesting surprise. I went to school and "Oh, I have to stay in this class another 50 minutes?". It wasn't bad though, didn't have English or Spanish today.

Had my license test today. I am extremely angry. I got screwed and failed pretty early. I was driving along, everything perfect, and then went to turn left at a light that was green, it changed to yellow I was already commited, and it turned red by the time I was about half way through the intersection. Bam, auto-fail. Re-scheduled to May 18th at 9:40 am, so I get out of 2nd period and there should be much less traffic.

If you want to talk about screwed, my first one was almost all neighborhood and it was trash day and every house had cars parked in the street. Streets littered with trash cans and cars and I was failed for being in the left lane too much.
