Post counts turned off in Clubs and Clans?

Well, I was talking to Cole about it earlier and thought that with the ZT, the forum has cleaned up quite a bit but there is still a bunch of clans that do nothing but chat back and forth about things unrelated to their clans. I'm not sure what anyone else thinks, but should we turn off post counts to eliminate alot of this useless banter? It has become excessive in some forums leading towards doing alot more splitting and just becoming another chore for me to do.

Yeah. I'm getting so sick of all their f*cking SPAM and bullsh*t. They really just don't deserve the posts they get, and this is a helluva lot easier than warning them all the time.

Well, I modded that place longer than almost anyone, so I'm going to throw in my two cents here.


Yeahh, the ZT has worked wonders, it's almost back to where it was way back when I first modded that forum shortly after it was created...but...even then I felt like maybe posts should not have been on in there...it's just a haven for useless posts and spam...it's probably helped a lot of members break into the thousands of posts, and some even the tens of thousands...


I'm not under the impression that it should just be outright deleted just yet, but I'll be following it for a little while to see if I'd rather recommend that.

Post count off in the C & C is the best idea ever.

No, I think that's too drastic.

What I think you should do is renew the ZT, but make it a full-blown Zero Tolerance.

Any infraction they make, at the discretion of you fine gentleman of course, and its a full blown ban. That'll keep them in check.

Hell, if post counts are off in CV, I don't see why they'd be on in C&C.

Plus it might help get rid of our large idiot problem. If they have less places to SPAM, maybe they'll just leave and go somewhere else.

I hate when post counts are off (yeah, CV especially). What's the problem? It's just a number. Let those of us who like recognition for our posts have it and stop complaining.
