Tej stands alone under the lights of Bravo's training grounds. He is unarmed and waiting patiently with his eyes closed.

Meanwhile, back at the main part of the school. Jenny's voice echoes through the PA systems.

Jenny: Tej is challenging everyone at this school. That's right. EVERYONE! No one-on-one, just an all out battle. If interested in clobbering the life outta my brother, go to the Bravo training grounds now!

"I am unable to understand the logic behind this, but I will observe anyhow."

Haarku walked in and sat on a seat.

"Would you please explain the logic behind such a feat?"

Kylsos heard the news, and leapt out of bed. His staff shrunk until it was about the size of a branch as he morphed into a Peregrine Falcon, the fastest animal on earth, scooping up the newly shrunken staff in his talons. He whizzed through the halls like a bullet shot from a gun, startling people who he passed by.

When he arrived at the Bravo Training, he morphed as he was coming out of a 200 mph rush, resized his staff to its normal size, and plunged it into the ground, wedged between a bench and a wall. This abruptly stopped his momentum, nearly ripping the staff out of his hands, and as he came to a full stop, he hopped complacently to the ground, ready for the challenge.

"You seem the be in a rather large hurry. Might I ask why?"

Haarku walked down to Kylsos and asked him. "It was quite interesting."

"C'mon, Tej," Hioni said, finally finding Tej in the training grounds. "Don't you have a job to do, or something?"

"No," Tej smirked. "But I'm glad you're here. I was trying to find you so you could help me with this challenge, but I had no idea where to look."

"Try a classroom," Hioni said, glaring at Tej. "Who know? I might have a class to teach, or something?"

Then he saw the ready look on Tej's face and sighed in defeat. He decided to stay and help with this-take-on-all-comers challenge of his.

"Well now, is that really true? Is that dumb little brat really going to take on this entire school? Hah!" Aye, the mad old scientist Grim had been up and about, and upon hearing the news he couldn't have been more happy. A chance to get rid of that annoying little punk, without being chased off by the other students!

The manical scientist grinned to himself, slowly floating down to the Bravo Traing Grounds. Floating? Of course he was floating! What with being in a small, rounded pod, which he intended to use in combat against Tej.

Grim came to a sudden stop a mere three feet from the ground, leaning back in his chair and putting his legs up over the dashboard, while raising an eyebrow at Tej. "Well now, fire-boy, only you could've been so stupid as to think this one up. I'm really going to enjoy shooting you in the back." As if on que, the mad scientist arched his back and began laughing in a way that only evil scientists can. Aye, he was a total nutter.

Kylsos turned to Haarku.

"I guess. I like to be early for things, that's just how I am. Besides, I am rather intrigued by Tej's challenge. You heard the announcement, correct?"

Haarku nodded.

"Well, I've seen Tej in action only a couple times, and I know he is powerful... but the whole school? Doesn't that seem a little over the top? In any case, I like to be wherever there's anything big going on. And I definitely wouldn't mind having a test of my skills either." Kylsos explained.

Tej: Small change of plan. Hioni's gonna be fighting with me.

A loud groan echoes throughout the room. Tej nudges Hioni and looks over to Haarku. Hioni nudges and sets his own targer.

Tej: The only rule here is NO WEAPONS! Time to make someone cry!

Tej runs for Haarku, launcing several medium powered embers during his advance.

"Well now that's not fair." Said a voice from behind Tej. He turned just in time to have his feet sweeped out from under him. Tej landed hard on the ground to bounce up again, ready to fight. Hikoru smiled, his fists raised in a fighting pose. "Two-verse-all eh? This oughta be interesting..." At the same time, Hioni's vision blurred for a moment as wind blew against him, causing him to flinch. Gust appeared before him, in his armor but without his cape. He flexed his hands, his claws emerging slowly. "Very well Nokosu, let us fight." He said.

Cedric sat on the edge, his swords ready, but staying away. "I don't need to join this, in fact his is a rather good opportunity to see how my pupils have improved..." He said smiling. Shadow and Thunder sat beside him, much to his surprise. He frowned at them. "Why are you here?" "To watch" Thunder said simply. Shadow nodded in agreement. "And the Kitsune girls?" Cedric said. "Sleeping." Shadow responded with a shrug. Cedric sighed.

Kylsos' staff dropped to the ground. clattering a bit as he kicked it off the field.

"A small handicap, but one that can be compensated for." he thought, morphing into a Grizzly Bear, showing his claws, "after all, claws are natural weapons."

He ran towards Hioni as he flinched by Gust' wind, swiping a huge right claw towards his head...

"W-what?" Had he just heard that damned idiot right? He wanted everyone to fight, without the use of weapons? That could be a slight problem.... "I'm a scientist, not a fighter! How the hell do you expect to put up a fight if I can't use a single bloody weapon?!"

Still, try as he might, the old git couldn't argue with Tej, it was his challenge afterall. "Hmph! Fine, fire-boy! But..." Grim put a pause on what he was in the middle of saying to climb down from his pod, before it somehow folded up until it ws but the size of an icecube, after which the scientist pocketed the micro machine. "I'm not get involved here! You'll just use this as an excuse to bash my face in! Hah! Forget it!"

Haarku grabbed a cluster of leaves and threw them at the embers, each catching fire. He grabbed a leaf and hurled it in the direction of Tej.

Tej: Don't sweat it Granpa, I'll let weapons in later. For now just be sure to take your viagra and stay put. :P

Grim began to curse at Tej, who turned away to face Hikoru.

Tej: Just lettin' you know now. I am so NOT paying for your face surgery.

Tej snapped his fingers creating a small candle in his finger tips. He began to wave it around as if it were some amazing magic trick.

Tej: Huuzzaah! Now you see it...

Tej snapped his fingers again and the flame dissappeared.

Tej: Now you don't!

Hikoru: Be serious, or else you'll regret it.

Tej: Oh, I'm being totally serious.

Both fighter's eyed each other and remained poised in his respective fighting stance. The fighters remained idle until Hikoru smelled smoke coming from behind. He knew it to be one of Tej's tricks. If he looked back now, Tej would have the upper hand. Tej took a step toward Hikoru.

Tej: You know, that hair of yours is really nice. That small flame on it is gonna cause some real problems, don'tcha think?

Tej was right, Hikoru felt a the back of his head heating up. However he was strong, and would not give his enemy the chance to strike.

Tej: I bet now your starting to wonder where that flame went. Maybe now you believe that I was serious about that magic show.

The heat continued to slowly advance to the top of his head until the pressure was unbearable. His hands scrambled to put off the flames. His eyes shot open when he realized... there was no fire!

Before he could get his hands back into a defensive stance Tej had already pummeled his fist into Hikoru's gut. Hikoru doubled over from the impact allowing Tej to complete his combo with a several more punches to the abdomen and finishing with a jump kick to the face. Hikoru was sent reeling for the wall.

Tej: So, did the mind game work? ^_^

Hikoru smiled, wiping the blood from his lip. "You wanna play mind-games flamey? You picked the wrong guy." Hikoru laughed, his eyes glinting. Suddenly, Tej found himself standing in a field of darkness, no light anywhere around him. He could however, hear everything still.

"How do you like it Tej?" He heard Hikoru's voice say. "How do you fight when I can selectively cut off your senses?" Hikoru laughed and Tej found himself then suddenly in the middle of a battlefield strewn with corpses. He glanced around him in shock, wondering what was happening.

He looked down at his feet, and there was a man on the verge of death, raising up a dagger to attack Tej, only to collapse and die. Tej raised his hand to shake the man, and found his hand covered in blood. He reeled back in shock, glancing at his other to find both of his hands smeared with blood.

Hikoru smiled as he watched Tej, locked in the Illusion he had created for him. Tej could not as of now see, hear, or feel anything around him. Hikoru nodded to himself. "I wonder how he'll get out of this."

"Don't flinch," Hioni said calmly as the bear Kylsos continued his charge on Hioni. The demon caught the bear claw in one of his own.

"It might make you miss," he continued as he took the arm and spun around, taking Kylsos with him. He threw the bear and turned to Gust, pulling the Muramasa out of its sheath. He stuck it in the ground and pulled the scabbard out as well. He bent his knees and stood ready for Gust's attack, paying no attention to Kylsos, who was getting to his feet while rubbing the part of his head that had crashed into the ground.

Tej: Oh man... dude what happened to you...

Tej was totally intranced in this imaginary world. He wiped his blooded hands on the floor, but only filled himself with more blood. Tej began to scream in his confusion. Hikoru laughed at his accomplishment.

Hikoru: (He's not as smart as he looks.)

Then, Tej does something very unusual. He grabs the dagger and inspects it for a little while. Tilting it in every direction to get it's entire structure understood.

Tej: You know... Even with all these senses down...

Tej grips the hilt of the dagger and throws it forward. The darkness fades away and Tej is brought back to the regular arena. He is again able to see Hikoru, only this time his arm was bleeding. Protruding from his wound was the dagger.

Tej: ...You still smell like sh*t. Let's change the rules a little bit. Weapons are available from now on!

???: Finally!

A leaf landed in Tej's chest. He picked it of, giving a bewildered look as he threw it on the ground. He looked to see where it had come from to find an entire barrage of sharp leaves headed in his direction. He drew his sword from it's holder and managed to deflect a most of them. Blood dripped to the ground. When Tej rested his sword on his side, two sharp leaves were sticking out of Tej's chest. He burned them off and looked around. He saw no one.

Tej: Damnit Haarku. Where are ya?

The bear growled as he fell. Kylsos involuntarily morphed back from the pain from his pounding head.

"Ow..." he muttered, "Oh, that does it!"

As Hioni faced Gust Kylsos stood, morphing into the Peregrine Falcon form which he was beginning to grow fond of. He flew forward, bridging the distance gap faster than you could say "Ok!", at speeds upwards of 100 mph (he could go faster but he had had not much time to accelerate). At the last second he morphed into a rolled up armadillo. He slammed into Hioni's back like a cannonball, knocking him forward off his feet. Kylsos picked up his staff, leaping into the air and bringing it down two-handed towards Hioni's head.

Gust materialized the Reikon-ken into his hand, sliding it into his belt and drawing the blade. "I have met your sister fool." Gust said, raising the blade. Hioni's Shingan snapped open suddenly as he felt a massive oncoming of souls. Suddenly the field around Gust was filled with souls. "It's time to start taking this seriously." Gust said simply, and the souls swarmed Hioni, intending to do harm.

Hikoru removed the blade from his arm, his cells repairing as he accelerated his cell regeneration via psychometabolism. He shook his head softly and then focused on Tej once more. "Clever." He said with a smile. "Materializing my illusion and making it real..." Hikoru grabbed that dagger and several of his own, and launched them at Tej extremely fast, two more in his hands as he began running fast and low, sweeping up with the blades just as the initial daggers reached Tej.

"Ugh... I'm tired of this guy constantly throwing me around like a paperweight!" Kylsos groaned. He transformed into an eagle, flying high, gaining altitude swiftly as only an eagle could. He circled around in midair, nose-diving toward's Hioni. When he was about 100 feet of the ground, he morphed into an Elephant. A ton of weight (literally) picked up speed rapidly in the course of a few seconds until it was at terminal velocity not even a second away from impact. "Throw this," he thought. The souls below Gust was swarming Hioni with should keep him busy... until it was too late.

The mad old scientist was far to busy ranting on about Tej's annoying little comment, before he heard that weapons were now allowed. "Damn you straight to...... wait...... weapons?! About friggin' time!" That yelled out, Grim stuffed a gloved hand within his labcoat, searching for one of his many weapons, while giving the odd glance now and then towards the fight.

"Aww, c'mon! Where the hell is it?!" The manic scientist kept on growling at both himself and, guess who, Tej, while he searched for a weapon it seemed he didn't have. Well, that was until he felt something metal touch his fingers. "Gotcha!" And just what did the madman pull out? Something that looked to be a very futuristic sniper rifle.

So, getting down on one knee, and making sure he was a fair bit away from the main fight, Grim pointed the weapon at his target, looking down the scope at that cursed fire-boy. "Dodge this, you little brat!" He pulled the trigger, sending one, burning white bolt of plasma energy speeding towards Tej. And guess what? Grim happened to be a very good shot.

Tej readied his sword to block Hikoru's assault. A flash emitted from the left and through his peripheral he could see a raging bolt headed his way. He knew there was no way to dodge both, but thank goodness for his awesome brain power.

Tej: (I'll just have to use this to my advantage.)

Tej drew his second sword and set them both infront of him like an "X". He turned to face the bolt as his entire body erupted in flames. The electricity shot much faster than the daggers. It shredded through Tej's flames and sent shockwave's through his entire body. The combination of fire and electricity sent the daggers shooting back out to random directions. A few shot out towards Hikoru and even more towards the source of the electricity, Grim.

The electricity had finally settled down. The attack caused quite a considerable amount of damage, but it was minimized by Tej's defensive stance and fire aura. He began to devise a plan of attack when he noticed the huge shadow of an elephant in the distance. Below it, unable to move, was Hioni.

Tej: I'm comin' buddy!

Tej disappeared in a puff of smoke.

In the midst of the soul brigade, a light wind began to form. A puff of smoke appeared infront of Hioni, followed by a violent outburst of wind that blew away all the swarming souls. Beneath the shade of the elephant stood Tej in the center of a human-sized tornado. He aimed his palms at the enormous creature and released the entire tornado at the elephants bottom, blowing it just enough to divert it's path. Kylsos (elephant) crash landed 5 feet away from the two, obviously feeling the pain of such a hugh momentum fall.

Tej nudged Hioni and pointed at the Muramasa.

Hikoru ducked and weaved, avoiding the daggers nimbly as he launched himself backward until he stood beside his long-time partner Gust. He smiled at Gust. "Seems we've got one hell of a tag-team here eh bud?" He said with a grin. Gust nodded. "Let's show them our teamwork." Hikoru brought out more daggers, Gust quickly infusing them with souls ready to explode. Gust made wind copies of himself, each of the twenty copies taking a dagger and disappearing. They re-appeared in a circle around Tej and Hioni, the daggers at the ready. The original Gust and Hikoru drew their respective weapons, Gust his sword and Hikoru his staff, and vanished.

The Gusts ringed Tej and Hioni, Tej laughing softly. The Gusts smirked in unison, then threw the daggers. Tej and Hioni readied themselves to block the attack, only to have the daggers explode several feet in front of them, kicking up tons of debris and dust, clouding the air around him to the point where they couldn't even see. At that precise moment, Gust and Hikoru dropped from above, Gust slashing down at Hioni's head, while Hikoru brought his staff down for a devastating crushing blow to Tej's skull.

"Thanks for the assist," Hioni managed to say as Gust and Hikoru begun their attack. When the two dropped out of the air, Hioni took his moment and acted for both himself and Tej. He leapt to meet the two and called the Muramasa to his hand and brought it up to defend against Gust's blade. Using the force of the block, Hioni whirled around in the air and lashed out at Hikoru with a kick to the staff, sending it off course along with its wielder. With the remaining momentum Hioni brought his other foot around and planted it against Gust in the side of the head, sending him after Hikoru. All three landed, although Hioni landed cleanly on his own two feet.

"And now that's the return," Hioni said, shaking Tej's hand. Then he stood at Tej's back, the Muramasa held tight in his right hand.

Kylsos grunted.

"Again, they counter my shifting tricks. Even when I combine them for maximum effect, they devise some way to get out. Urg..."

"Of course, I haven't revealed everything I can do as of yet..." he thought.

While Gust and Hikoru kept them preoccupied, Kylsos began to silently concentrate, bringing all of his senses inward. What was like an eternity to him was mere moments to the outside world. Finally he opened his eyes, a green tint of magic flooding his pupils.

Tej had already seen much of his skills during his fight with Death. That was fine. He would just improvise.

Roots sprung up from the ground under Tej and Hioni's feet, entangling their feet and stopping their movement. While this was not much of a threat of its own, the fact that a stream of needles were flying seemingly out of Kylsos' hands towards them and Tej and Hioni had split seconds to react, was. Kylsos also summoned three giant bramble tentacles, arcing themselves pointed at the epicenter of the fight. Kylsos and the three tentacles were at the cardinal compass points around the brawl in the middle. In the event that Tej and Hioni managed to free themselves and avoid the needles, the tentacles or Kylsos would assault them mercilessly with thorn or staff.

"Oh, bugger...." The scientist yelped as he began darting around, doing his best to avoid the mass of daggers that had been thrown his way by his own attack. Next time, he'd aim for the idiots head! The man was pulled away from his murderous thoughts when one of the dagger caught him in the back of his right shoulder, drawing blood. "Ow! That hurt damnit!"

Right, he needed another plan. So, after the onslaught of daggers died down, and of course removing one of those blades from his shoulder, Grim went about searching through his coat again, before finally pully out a small metal device about the size of a cigarette case.

"Alright! I need something big.... BIG! With plenty of guns..." Grim pushed a few small buttons on this odd machine, before it shot out a light blue beam just a few feet infront of him. The odd light began to warp and twist, until he began to take the shape of something very large indeed. "Hmph! Damned slow teleportation!"

"Kid isn't bad," Tej said with a smirk as he eyed the entangling roots at their feet. "I'll get the needles?"

Hioni nodded with a devilish grin and they went to work. Tej angled his body around so his blades, both of them, were able to block the onslaught of needles. Hioni moved his own body so that he could do it. During that time, he closed both his eyes and began to focus. He would have to get rid of their bonds, the tentacles, and both blasts at the same time. Part of this was made easy by the roots composition, and the fact that Hioni was fire incarnate. He opened his eyes sharply and the roots, brambles, and tentacles all incinerated at once, leaving the ashes behind. In that same moment, Hioni flung out his sword and sheath to divert Gust and Hikoru's attacks and they flew off into the ceiling. Tej gained a better footing and stood against the needle storm while Hioni moved quickly about behind Kylsos and held his sword pointed at the back of his neck.

"I really don't want to have to hurt you," he said quietly, crouched down and poised to strike. "But your tricks are getting annoying. Back down now, because you don't stand a chance. And I have better things to do than deal with you."

Kylsos smiled. The brambles that had been incinerated grew back, regenerating. Also, a bramble shot up from beneath Hioni's feet, forcing him to leap backwards. Several dozen brambles enveloped Kylsos in a cocoon of brambles, with tentacles waving out from the cocoon at Hioni and Tej. Needles shot from the tentacles at them, keeping them on their feet.

Tej: Eh?

While Tej continually dodged Kylsos's attacks his eyes caught the sight of a radiating blue light.

Tej: What's grandpa up to now?

The blue light took the shape of a rather large figure, but it remained stationary after transforming. Seeing it as no 'current' threat, Tej switched his focus at both the oncoming leaves, needles, and tentacles.

Tej: (This SUCKS!) I didn't want to have to do this. But...

Tej decided to handle one problem at a time to avoid being overwhelmed. Two black feathered wings stretched out from Tej's back. He swung them forward as a shield, fending off the needles and leaves, then swithched his aim for the tentacles.

Tej: No fire you say? Fine.

Tej's elemental blade flashed an icy blue. He remained on the defensive, blocking hit after hit of every tentacle that whipped at him. With every hit, Kylsos could feel a gradual chill run through him. After about the 5th hit, Tej decide to up the tempo. The 6th hit didn't even reach Tej's blade. Instead, Tej faced a frozen icicle. Although only that one tentacle was physically frozen, the rest of cacoon was crippled with cold.

Tej: NOW!

Tej and Hioni entered a frenzy of sword slashes, shredding through the weakened brambles and shattering the cacoon. They both pointed their sword Kylsos.

Tej: *Phew* Finally! You're really something you know. But we've all got our limits. I mean look at Grim for example. He's like 500 years old. Talk about useless!

"Grandpa?! Hah! It's be a very wise move to put a hold on the insults, fire-boy!" Grim's voice seemed..... odd, somehow. As if he were talking through a machines com-system.

Of course, it was soon revealed where the mad old scientist was from a string of low, but loud thumps on the earth, a sign that something very big, and metal, was heading into the battle. "Hmph! I'll grind your bones to dust and scatter your ashes across this damned planet!" And now, Grim's death-machine came into full few, standing a mere four feet from the fighters.

From the looks of it, this monstrous machine was just one big cannon with a pair of robotic legs, though that giant cannon wasn't the only weapon on the beast, as it had many auto-turrets strewn over its heavly armoured body. And, at the very heart if th emachine, just under that cannon, was Grim, grinning like a total lunatic.

"All systems, full power! Open fire!" On the scientists command, each and every range weapon on his machine, the cannon included, unleashed a manic wave of explosive shells, and one huge ball of super-charged plasma from the main cannon. And all of it directed at Tej and Hioni.

Hikoru and Gust frowned, watching their blasts deflected so easily. "This is not cool." Hikoru said simply. "Agreed." Gust said, nodding. Hikoru glanced at the two. "They are to strong together." He smiled. "It's time to separate them." Hikoru slapped his hands on the ground, sending out a telekinetic wave across the ground, causing it to ripple and vibrate. Hioni and Tej stood on uneven ground, trying to keep their footing, when suddenly the ground split and launched them to opposite sides of the room.

"Go." Gust said, taking off after Hioni while Hikoru went after Tej. Hikoru drew his daggers, launching them after Tej who was still flying through the air, he then began gathering telekinetic energy around himself, creating a veritable layer around his body to help deflect attacks and to increase his offensive power. Gust threw out a gust of wind, aiming to throw Hioni against a wall where several more explosion souls awaited him.

"It's time to approach this differently... Tej and HIoni work well as a team. Thus, the only way to beat them is to work as a team ourselves."

He saw Gust and Hikoru split them, then frowned as he saw that they had actually pushed Tej and Hioni out of the way of Grim's fire. This was easily remedied though.

Kylsos dashed in front of the blasts of Grim, spinning his staff in a circle. As he spun, the bullets and plasma were blocked, and then suddenly redirected so that they lanced outwards to Kylsos' left and right, towards Tej and Hioni. Also, Kylsos had added some of his own power, and a green tint combined with the plasma, spiraling around it, becoming ever larger.

The souls that Gust had placed were ready to do their job, but Hioni glared at them with his Shingan and they froze in their respective places. Then he kicked off the wall and flew straight for the beam fired by Grim.

"Reforge, Muramasa," he yelled as he prepared to strike. "Become Shirasaya!"

The only noticiable change from Hioni's weapon was the hilt. It became wooden, similar to shrine swords. But that didn't mean that the weapon itself didn't change. Hioni reached the beam and sliced cleanly through it as if it were water. The two halves of the magic-enhanced beam veered off-course and blew up on opposite sides of the arena. Then Hioni took half of a second to think. All he had been doing was reacting.

"My shot," he said as he drew back his weapon as if he were to throw it.

"Second," he yelled as he lashed out at the air in front of him. A resounding boom echoed from the blade as Hioni unleashed his ranged attack. The blade sliced through the air and created a shockwave of his own, easily capable of cutting through several layers of diamond.

"Tsuchi Kabe no Jutsu!" Rang out through the arena, as a wall of earth emerged in front of Hioni, the shockwave colliding with the thick layer of stone and burrowing in until there was a layer of stone only paper-thin left. "That would have hurt..." Tsuchi said, walking out to stand by Gust. He smiled beneath his mask. "Now, shall Wind and Earth fight together?" Tsuchi asked, glancing at Gust. Gust nodded simply, gathering a gust about him and using it to launch himself into the air.

Tsuchi grinned. "Tsuchi Shouken no Jutsu." He muttered, and slid into the ground as if into water. Gust vanished, melding with his element. "Wind and Earth against Fire..." Hioni heard Tsuchi's voice echo as if in a cavern. "What will you do now Hioni?" Even as these last words echoed, the earth around Hioni began to tremble, and then swing up in two slabs in a motion made to crush. At the same time, incredible air pressure pressed in on three sides in order to keep him enlosed.

"Don't forget nature!" Kylsos shouted as he once again caused roots to spring up under Hioni, binding him in place, so he was completely bound and surrounded by the attacks. Blocked in by Wind, tied down by Nature, and impending doom approaching by Earth. How was that for harmony of elements?

It wasn't enough. Trapped on all sides, Hioni closed his eyes and smirked. The huge stone slabs collided and dirt rose up from the ground. And it finally looked like Hioni had been stopped. Kylsos breathed a sigh of relief and Tsuchi made himself visible again.

"He wasn't so tough," Kylsos said, his breathing slightly off. However, Gust hadn't reappeared and Tsuchi was looking left and right. The stones that he had called up from the ground slid back into the earth and everything was silent.

"I'll bet he isn't too happy about that," came Hioni's muffled voice. Before he had a chance to move, Kylsos was in the air. The ground under him had almost exploded in fire and Hioni shot out of a hole in the ground like a bullet. Kylsos changed into an armadillo just as Hioni came onto the same level in the air. Hioni let loose a devastating kick that would have shattered Kylsos very being had he not rolled into a ball. And if it weren't for the fact that Hioni was holding back enough force to level the school. The little creature rocketed into, and through, the training grounds wall as he was sent flying. Hioni landed and watched him go.

"You have been quite the little thorn in my side," Hioni said, twirling his sword lightly in his hand. "You should take this opportunity to think. You can't possibly beat me. Not now, and not for several more years. And as for you..."

Hioni threw his arms over his head and held his katana behind him, blocking a direct attack from Gust. He had thrown his arm like a weapon and sent vortices of wind at the demon, each on capable of cutting through flesh and bone as if it wasn't there.

"Come out into the open," he said. "I'm getting annoyed with all this fighting. I want it to be over soon."

Kylsos stood, dazed, gazing through the hole. He could still hear Hioni's words. THey rang in in skull, spiting implications in his face. What is he? was Kylsos' question, but then he rethought it. Hioni was strong, that was true. Strength came from a fighting spirit, and determination was the greatest weapon of all. To say that Kylsos could not beat him, implying that no matter how much determination he had, he couldn't win, either placed Hioni with the foolish, the overconfident, or the ridiculously powerful. Kylsos refused to believe that there was an opponent that absolutely could not be beat no matter how much determination he gave.

Anger welled up inside him. Josef's voice rose to warn him about it. Never fight with anger. Kylsos considered it, considered releasing his anger, then let his temper fall. Reckless action would gain him nothing.

He stepped back out of the crack, eyes glowing bright green. One looking might say that sparks were flying from his eyes, so intense the light seemed to crackle in his pupils. Clouds gathered overhead in an instant. Suddenly the wind rose to about 60 miles per hour and kept rising. Rain, sleet, and hail began to fall, mingling in with the wind, creating a damaging torrent. Lightning crackled in the sky.

Over the din of the building hurricane, Kylsos shouted, "Gust, help me speed up the wind! Tsuchi, get some debris flying into the twister!"

Then he concentrated on retaining the magics holding this ultimate attack in place. If this failed, he would be drained of nearly all energy and would essentially be spent of any of his shifting or magic powers for the rest of the battle, let alone be very fatigued physically as well. He hoped the others heard him and would help.

Tsuchi melded into the Earth once more with a grin. Suddenly, sharp rocks began firing up from the earth, joining into the whirlwind just as Gust threw a portion of his power into the whirlwind, kicking the speed up to 120 mph. At the same time, both threw out attacks aimed at Hioni. Spikes of stone Shot up from the earth around Hioni, aiming to puncture him. At the same time, blades of wind shot down at him, strong enough to pierce through the strongest steel.

The combined efforts of Kylsos, Gust, and Tsuchi would have been perfect if it hadn't been for one MAJOR flaw they overlooked.

Tej: YO! CHECK ME OUT!

The opposing team searched around for the distant voice. However, none of them could focus much beyond the chaos that was unfolding infront of them. There was too much going on, making it all too easy for Tej to fly above the clouds and muster a high level of Fire Energy. He released the flames into the clouds that readily absorbed the heat. Immediately, the rain began to die out.

Kylsos: What's going on?

The cloud began to expand and glow red. At the same time, the entire room became reddish and the air began to rise in temperature.

Tej: Time to end this.

An eruption occurs within the clouds, emitting vibrations that shake everyone below off their feet. Fireballs begin to rain from the clouds, devestating everyone below with heavy explosions. Tsuchi, Kylsos, and Gust switch to the defensive and dodge the explosions. The tides turned against them even greater when the wind began to die down. Gust looked up and saw the problem.

From amidst the clouds, a winged comet was soaring down towards him. The comet was traveling so fast that all the wind was absorbed into it's overwhelming momentum. The rocks and spires that were floating through the wind were also absorbed into the comet but orbited around it. They were spining around the comet so fast that it created a spinning stone drill infront of the comet.

Gust used his superior wind manipulation to dodge out of the way, but leaving his ally Tsuchi wide open. Tej's comet smashed directly into Tsuchi's chest, greatly injuring his chest bones. He was sent flying through the Training ground's wall and out into the field.

Tej landed on the floor perfectly and looked out the hole he had made. He grinned and turned back to Gust and Kylsos.

Tej: Looks like you guys are out one ally.

OOC:. How can you hit him if he's fifty feet DOWN IN THE GROUND!? also, Gust is currently blended WITH the wind, he wouldn't need to dodge. Not to mention you ignored the fact that Hikoru was attacking you.

"I strongly dislike being forgotten."

Haarku stood alongside the wall, with many orbs surrounding him. He pulled a cluster of leaves and started throwing them around where Tej was.

"You move, and you will get hurt. Stay still, and you will also be hurt."
