Pro Wrestling Warriors presents:
War
Blue Cross Arena - Rochester, New York – 12,000
[02.21.07]

Match one:
Richard Storrs versus Tim Noble
Exhibition: Singles

Richard Storrs wants to continue his winning streak as of late – Of course, facing guys with less accolades than even he has isn’t going to get him anywhere. He faces against Tim Noble, a virtual unknown in Pro Wrestling Warriors. After a feeling out process in the beginning, Storrs draws first blood after a modified neckbreaker. He only picks up a two count on his lesser-experienced opponent before the kickout. Storrs stays on Noble, trying to work a ground game as opposed to his usual flashy offense. Being the billionaire he is, he probably doesn’t want to get injured. Noble mounts a comeback after a splash in the corner misses for Storrs. Tim tries to string together a few combinations, but Richard is able to cut him off after a stiff European Uppercut. Storrs moves in for the kill early – much too early – and pays for it as his variation of the Standing Shiranui, the Dollar Mark, gets reversed into a powerful cobra clutch slam by Noble, the slightly taller competitor. Noble gets a two count before Storrs gets a foot on the rope to force a break, avoiding exerting any unnecessary energy with a kickout.

Noble now appears to be on the offensive, getting a decent response from the crowd due to their hatred for Richard Storrs. He rallies together some rights and lefts before whipping Storrs off to the ropes. Noble attempts a back bodydrop, but in the blink of an eye, Storrs regains momentum with a tornado DDT that drives Noble’s head into the mat! Richard takes a breather before making the cover, which may have cost him the win as he only gets a two count. Richard again calls for the finish, this time lifting Noble into an inverted facelock. He tries spinning him around before delivering the Dollar Mark, but Noble counters and delivers the Tim-Plosion! Storrs gets spiked into the mat, but Noble is unable to follow up after taking the beating from Richard Storrs for a solid four or five minutes of action. Noble finally makes the cover, after about thirty seconds of hesitation, but only receives a two count. Noble tries lifting Storrs to his feet again, but this time Richard is ready, catching his opponent off guard with an eye poke. He grabs Noble and prevails with delivering the Dollar Mark. The three count is imminent at this point, and Richard walks away with another victory against… well… someone who is, frankly, below him.

Winner: Richard Storrs via Pinfall at 8:30

After a commercial break, we return to where Myles Ravington is standing in the ring, with a clipboard in his hand and a microphone held to his mouth with his other hand. YOSHI is by his side, silent and loyal as ever.

Myles Ravington:
"I possess in my hand a contract that is near and dear to AJ Cross’ heart. I know you fans are hoping it’s AJ Cross’ contract, and I am about to reveal that I now own his services – or better yet – he is about to be fired from Pro Wrestling Warriors. Unfortunately, this is not the case. Instead, I have acquired AJ Cross’ permission to have him face my servant, YOSHI, in a Battle Without Honor. Should Mr. Cross lose the match in which he will perform, he will be forced to face me at Malice for his REAL contract. After my little green friend kicks AJ’s ass tonight, I will beat him at Malice and completely own his services. AJ, I hope you have a thick skin because my crack will need a little waxing come Sunday night. Consider it my way of giving you a warm welcome into Myles Ravington Enterprises."

Ravington continues to laugh smugly as he and YOSHI nod to one another and the match gets underway…

Match two:
AJ Cross versus YOSHI
Exhibition: Battle Without Honor

Cross doesn’t seem very worried going into his match against the GREEN MACHINE, YOSHI! Nah, YOSHI isn’t really a dinosaur. It’s short for Yoshimoto, Ryo. Now, I know what you’re thinking. ‘But Dean, RYOSUKE doesn’t wrestle in PWW?’ Well, apparently RYOSUKE has enough spare time to be a loser in TWO companies! YOSHI has a literal bag of tricks with him, which is being held by Ravington. Myles tosses him the large, beige, mailbag, and YOSHI pulls out a few strange objects: a construction cone, a Popsicle stick, and deadliest of all, some pantyhose! YOSHI seems confounded, wondering what to do with the objects. AJ Cross makes his entrance, wearing normal clothes, but with knee and elbow pads over them. He’s wielding a Singapore cane in his hand, and YOSHI seems scared. Ravington is at the commentary position now, sitting next to Straker and Scoop. He yells at YOSHI to use the pantyhose. YOSHI watches as Cross enters the ring and immediately charges, swinging the pantyhose wildly. He hits Cross a couple times before AJ cracks the cane against YOSHI’s leg, sending him to the mat in pain. YOSHI screams as Cross begins to beat him profusely with the cane.

After Cross relentlessly destroys Ravington’s servant with cane shots, he drops it and grabs the construction cone and Popsicle stick. He looks at them confusingly before breaking the Popsicle stick and stabbing YOSHI in the forehead with it a few times. YOSHI appears to have a splinter after Cross gets through with him, but AJ refuses to let up. He grabs the orange cone and sits YOSHI on the mat. Cross places it on YOSHI’s head, like a hat, before violently kicking him so hard in the face that he falls backward and the cone ends up flying out of the ring. Cross lifts YOSHI to his feet as Ravington is yelling at his servant, complaining about his substandard performance in the match. AJ delivers the Cross Cutter on YOSHI and hooks the leg, getting an easy win over the less than stellar performer.

Winner: AJ Cross via Pinfall at 6:55

Cross gets to his feet, his hand raised by the referee… but suddenly gets cracked in the back of the head with Myles Ravington’s scepter! Cross drops to his knees, and Ravington grabs the microphone he brought into the ring with him and starts hitting Cross in the head with it. He drops the microphone and lifts AJ back to his feet… and whacks him with the Singapore cane! Cross goes down again, after taking a stiff shot to the head. Ravington grabs the microphone and speaks.

Myles Ravington:
"You stupid son of a bitch! Didn’t your lawyers review this document before you signed it? Oh, I forgot… low class citizens like you can’t afford lawyers! You didn’t sign on for one match tonight, AJ Cross. You signed on for two. Prepare for a royal ass-whooping!"

Ravington pulls Cross back to his feet… and drops him to the mat with the Royal Cut! BOOM SHAKALAKA! He rolls Cross over and hooks both legs as the referee makes the three count. Ravington gets back to his feet and does a little jig, much to the dismay of the New York crowd. He gets back on the microphone.

Myles Ravington:
"AJ Cross, enjoy your last few days as a free man. Get some prostitutes. Go to a strip club and say hello to your mommy. Because after Sunday, you… are… MINE!

Cheap heat. You have to love it.

Myles Ravington:
"Not only am I the King of Philadelphia… I’m now the Emperor of New York City! Bow down to your motherf*cking King, you peasants!"

Ravington basks in the boos of the crowd, dropping the mic in the process. He heads backstage as AJ Cross peers angrily toward his adversary.

Match three:
The Awakening © versus Rob Cavallo/Brady Cruise
Exhibition: PWW World Tag Team Championships

The reigning World Tag Team Champions face two men against whom they have a storied past. Cruise and Cavallo are the underdogs going into this contest. Cruise starts things off with Hart. They have an impressive exchange of wrestling moves, with Hart getting an advantage. Hart grapples with Cruise on the mat, pinning him to the mat a few times for a two count from each opportunity. He eventually tags into Zack Wicked. Hart holds Cruise as Wicked pummels him with a few shots to the side and back. He throws Cruise into the corner and tries to jump him, but Brady moves out of the way and fires some shots to Wicked, stunning him. Brady runs to the ropes and comes back with a big dropkick that sends Wicked barreling through the ropes to the outside floor. Cruise runs to the opposite ropes, but before he can connect with a dive, Hart extends his foot and cracks Brady right in the head with a vicious kick, causing him to get caught up in the ropes.

Hart drops a leg on the back of Cruise’s head, and the Revo member flips forward and falls out of the ring. With Hart distracting the referee, Wicked whips Cruise into the steel ring steps, exacting more punishment. He rolls Brady back into the ring and begins blatantly choking him. The referee turns around and forces him off Cruise. Wicked makes the cover, but Cavallo breaks it up. Brady takes a beating from both Wicked and Hart as they tag back and forth, utilizing both men effectively. After putting the boots to Cruise, Hart tags back into Wicked. Zack grabs Cruise and hoists him onto the top rope with a draping front suplex. Hart tries to rebound off the opposite ropes in hopes for his patented leap frog attack on Cruise while in the position, but Cavallo pulls the top rope down, sending Tyler falling to the outside floor!

Cruise fights out of the tag team and fires some shots to Zack Wicked, stunning him. The referee gets caught up in Cavallo and Hart exchanging blows on the outside floor, and suddenly, Will Bauer shows up with a lead pipe in his hand! Cruise is on the top rope, but he gets whacked from behind with the pipe, causing him to fall to the mat. Cavallo sees Bauer with the pipe and runs after him, with Bauer darting for the backstage, the sneaky bastard. Meanwhile, Hart tags into Wicked and gets back in the ring. Wicked lifts Cruise to his shoulders in position for the Wicked Bomb… and drives him right onto Hart’s knees with a Lung Blower! OUCH! Hart hooks the legs and retains the gold as Cavallo slides into the ring, a second too late.

Winners: The Awakening

Hart and Wicked get out of the ring, forgoing their celebration, as their incredibly annoying music plays. Cavallo consoles Cruise in the ring, upset with their tainted loss.

Match four:
Alex Michaels/Michael Simons versus Tristan Novak/Brett Stokes
Exhibition: Tag Team

Michaels and Simons, despite their earlier friction, seem a bit more cohesive going into this contest. Novak seems disgusted by Brett Stokes, who has Maria Rounds at ringside with him. Novak and Simons start things off with a few technical exchanges. Neither man gets a definitive amount of momentum until Novak takes a shortcut and shoves Simons into the corner. He tries to mount him and fire off some punches, which are illegal in Traditional matches, but not in tag team matches. Simons shoves Novak off after a few punches and charges him with a double leg takedown. He starts firing some forearms against Novak, until Tristan is able to kick Simons off him and get back to his feet. Simons tries to charge him again, but Novak shoves him aside, sending Simons into the ropes. The Unknown returns and takes a snapping huracarrana from the lightning quick Tristan Novak, sending Simons into the mat. Novak runs to the ropes and springs off the middle, delivering a springboard corkscrew moonsault on the stomach of Simons. Novak springs off him and immediately goes after Michaels, firing a forearm shot to his jaw that sends him down to the ringside area. Novak gets fired up and actually has the crowd on his side for a moment. He charges Simons, who is finding refuge in the corner for now, and tries to deliver a huge shot, but Simons catches him and flapjacks Novak head-first against the top turnbuckle, dropping his chin on the hard pad. Novak staggers around and gets caught with an overhead t-bone suplex by Simons, sending him into the mat. Michael makes the tag to Michaels (say that five times fast) and the two deliver a double pendulum backbreaker on Novak to wear him down quickly. Perfection makes the cover, getting a two before Novak shoots a shoulder up.

Alex stays on Novak on the ground, delivering a few knee and elbow strikes while flattening him on the canvas. He picks apart the neck of Novak, halting all of his momentum as he slows down the process of this contest. Michaels keeps the rear chinlock on as Novak tries to battle back to a vertical base. Novak succeeds, firing off some elbows to the midsection. He runs to the ropes and tries to connect with a crossbody, but Alex catches him. Michaels quickly delivers a rib breaker, driving the side of his opponent into his knee. Novak grunts with pain as Michaels tosses him overhead with a fall away slam, showing that impressive amateur wrestling strength. Michaels takes a move outside of his usual arsenal to catch Novak off guard and pursue softening him up for Malice. Michaels pulls Novak to his feet, but Tristan isn’t going down with a fight and connects with a flurry of forearms and punches. He gets momentum from the ropes and connects with a spinning wheel kick, taking Michaels down. Novak makes the tag into Brett Stokes, and… gets some weird smear of glitter and goopy white… well, what he would hopefully assume is paste and not… another white substance… on his hands. He shoves Stokes into Michaels, who connects with a superkick! Michaels tags into Simons, who gladly comes in. He grabs Stokes and starts going after him with punches. The referee tries to pull Simons off, but Michael tells the referee to f*ck off. He swings at Stokes now, but Brett uses his speed to duck under and spring off the ropes with an asai moonsault that takes out both his opponents. The crowd pops for the weird individual as he gets back to his feet and tags into Novak, again smearing him with his weird glitter. Novak is pissed now and punches Stokes right in the face, sending him to the mat. Novak sighs and opts to just leave instead of bothering with this tag team match. He heads to the back as Maria Rounds curses him out.

Stokes gets pulled to his feet by both Simons and Michaels, who now have easy pickings. Simons whips Stokes into the ropes and drops down, hoping to trip him. Stokes jumps over him and grabs a waiting Alex Michaels, who is attempting a back bodydrop. Instead, Stokes pulls him into a front facelock, kicks off the ropes, and delivers a tornado DDT, dropping Michaels right on top of The Unknown! Stokes makes a cover on Michaels, but Simons breaks it up. Simons pulls Stokes up and tries to deliver the Blind Eye Halo, but Brett blocks it with some elbows and counters the move with a snapmare. He dropkicks Simons right in the back of the head and launches himself as Michaels, but gets thrown back into the canvas with a vicious slam! Michaels does a powerful MMA-style slam into the canvas, drilling Stokes. Simons goes back to the corner, and Michaels tags him in. Michael comes in and lifts Stokes back to his feet and prepares the Blind Eye Halo, but Stokes somehow blocks it with his knees, driving some knees into the skull of his opponent. Stokes grabs the dazed Simons and delivers a lung blower! He hooks the leg, but Michaels breaks it up once more. Michaels gets tagged back in and starts stomping Stokes. He grabs him and sets up the Guillotine Choke, or should I say, the “Perfect F*cking Choke,” but as the referee is getting Simons out of the ring, Stokes low blows Michaels! Brett grabs him from behind… He’s going to get Michaels Stoked with his patented driver... but Michaels counters into a victory roll… one, two, three!

Winners: Alex Michaels/Michael Simons via Pinfall at 14:30

Michaels pins Stokes, but after doing so, Novak returns to the ring and begins beating down his opponent for Malice. He stomps Michaels a few times as The Unknown looks on. Simons turns his back on Michaels and heads to the back, as there’s no love lost between these two. Novak pulls Michaels to his feet… ABOLITION! He delivers the sick flip piledriver, drilling Alex into the canvas. Novak grabs the Traditional Title and raises it above his victim’s prone body before dropping it on top and shoving Stokes out of the way to leave the ring and go backstage.

OOC: I’ll get the Main Event up later.

Main Event:
Kenzo Katana © versus Drake Vinaldi
Exhibition: PWW World Heavyweight Championship; Match four; Battle Without Honor

Katana and Vinaldi hate each other. That’s needless to say. They despite each other, and in this contest, much more than their detest for one another and pride is on the line. Kenzo Katana leads the Best of Five Series two-to-one, and with that position, he has much less at stake against Drake Vinaldi. However, it’s no secret Katana would much rather defeat Vinaldi tonight to forego risking his World Championship at the pay-per-view, no matter what match they compete in. The fans are on their feet and excited as hell for this one as the two men stand in the center of the ring, locking eyes and clenching fists. The bell rings, and the first few seconds of the match hear the arena filled with deafening cheers and chants for both men.

Vinaldi and Katana begin exchanging chops and punches immediately, wasting no time in getting this much-anticipated bout underway. Katana fires off a huge chop to the chest! Vinaldi responds with a huge forearm! They continue to tear into each other as the referee, much like the fans, cheers them on. Hell, he can’t do anything else. This ain’t your grandpappy’s wrestling. This is a battle without honor. There are no rules here. Vinaldi fires a series of slaps to Katana’s face, but Kenzo responds with a few forearms of his own. They’re rocking back and forth. Kenzo attempts a spinning back fist, but Vinaldi ducks under and tries to take Katana over with a saito suplex. Kenzo twists and counters by shoving Vinaldi into the canvas and mounting him from the side, throwing punches and elbows. Drake uses his size to roll Kenzo onto his back and respond in kind, delivering some nasty blows. They end up brawling all the way outside the ring, going through the ropes, even. Once on the floor, they continue to fight and roll, swinging with forearms and punches. Vinaldi places a hand over Kenzo’s face and starts punching him in the back of the head as he’s blinded. Katana manages to counter that with a few stiff knees to Drake’s midsection, forcing him off. They return to their feet, and Kenzo lunges forward, attempting a palm strike. Drake evades and viciously connects with the back of Kenzo’s head with an enzuigiri. The reigning world champion staggers forth and leans against the guardrails, trying to shake the cobwebs. Vinaldi dropkicks him in the back, sending Kenzo flipping forward, falling into the crowd.

Vinaldi doesn’t even hesitate before leaping over the barrier and grabbing hold of a steel chair. Katana turns just in time to see the seat of the chair crack against his skull, sending him to the floor in a world of hurt. Vinaldi throws the chairs down as a few fans pat him on the back. He pulls Katana to his feet and smacks his head off the seat of another chair, right after a fan empties it. He grabs a can of Coca-Cola on the floor, takes a sip… and spits it in Kenzo’s face, sending Katana to the floor again, this time trying to rub the drink out of his eyes. Drake puts the boots to Katana before choking him. The referee can’t do anything about it, and he probably doesn’t want to cross Vinaldi right now anyway. Drake grabs another steel chair and begins choking Katana with the end of it, really grinding it into his trachea. He eventually lets up and kicks Kenzo a few more times. Vinaldi finally throws Kenzo into the steel guardrail, from the opposite side of the ring. He grabs a steel chair and takes a few moments to jaw with his admiring public. He charges Katana, but Kenzo gets both feet up, causing the chair to smack in Drake’s face. Vinaldi drops the chair, stunned, and Kenzo takes advantage… by T-Bone Suplexing him over the guardrail and back to ringside! A chant of “Holy sh*t!” fills the arena, and for good reason. Kenzo eventually climbs over the guardrail, and the cameras now get a good shot of him, revealing that he’s bleeding from all the previous attacks. Kenzo rolls Vinaldi into the ring, but instead of going in himself, he opts to reach under the apron, revealing a table. That gets a pop.

Kenzo slides the table inside the squared circle and finally crawls in himself. Vinaldi’s back to his feet, and he cuts Kenzo off, kicking him in the head as he enters the ring. Drake fires some overhead punches to the crown of Kenzo’s skull before grabbing the table and setting it up in the corner, leaning it against the turnbuckle. Vinaldi returns his attention to Kenzo, but Katana catches him off-guard with a vicious strike to the jaw. Kenzo fires with machine gun chops to the chest before whipping Vinaldi into the corner. He tries the Shining Wizard Omega, but Vinaldi moves out of the way, causing Kenzo to connect with the corner. Drake grabs him out of the corner… TIGER SUPLEX! He drives Kenzo into the canvas. Vinaldi slides out of the ring and grabs a couple steel chairs, wanting to revert to his weapon of choice for the evening. He tosses one in and brings the other with him as he slides into the ring. Kenzo ducks under a misguided chair shot and delivers an enzuigiri to the back of Vinaldi’s head to cause him to drop the chair. He attempts a follow-up, but Drake blocks an attempt at a belly to belly suplex with a Mongolian Chop, sending Katana staggering away.

Drake tries to follow up, but Kenzo connects with a spinning back kick to the midsection. He tries a Burning Blade, Vinaldi’s own finishing move, but Drake ducks under… and connects with a Dragon Suplex this time! Katana gets dropped on the back of his head. Vinaldi returns to his feet and grabs the table, pulling it out of the corner. He sets it up normally near the corner, but set up on the mat. Vinaldi grabs Katana and fires a shot to the back of his head, but Kenzo returns fire with a forearm to the jaw. Vinaldi fires back with a few shots, and they begin exchanging punches. Drake swiftly kicks Katana low, doubling him over, and follows with a tremendous knee lift to the head, causing Kenzo to drop to his knees. Vinaldi attempts the Killing Blow, but this time it’s Kenzo who narrowly escapes. He tries to deliver a German Suplex, but Vinaldi breaks the waistlock and connects with a Pele Kick! Kenzo is out of it, and Vinaldi grabs him…. Fisherman’s Driver! He hooks both legs… one, two, thre-NO! Kenzo kicks out! Vinaldi is in awe. He grabs Kenzo and rolls him onto the table now, saying it’s time to finish this thing. Drake tries to climb to the top rope, but Kenzo rolls off the table and crotches him. Kenzo makes the throat slash motion… He climbs to the top rope and prepares an Avalanche Brainbuster, but Vinaldi blocks it. He gets back to a vertical base and drops Kenzo on the top turnbuckle, causing him to fall backward and lie on the table. Vinaldi leaps off… LUNATIC HIGH THROUGH THE TABLE! He hooks both legs… Vinaldi wins!

Winner: Drake Vinaldi via Pinfall at 16:20

Vinaldi ties the series up at two-all, meaning these two will fight for the PWW World Heavyweight Championship at Malice… in a PURE WRESTLING MATCH! We’ll see you there.

Alright, it's up. Sorry it took so long, but it was hard to judge between those five-star masterpieces by Vinaldi and Katana this week. :P
