Pokemon present in Pokemon Stadium N64

I would like to know if it is possible to acquire other pokemon than Charmander, Squirtle and Bulbasaur in Pokemon Stadium for N64. Well I've completed the gym castle , Elite Four and Rival so I've got apokemon for my blue version. However I read that it is possible te get a hitmolee or Hitmonchan, Omanyte or Omastar, or even another Evee, when you complete the rival challenge. Although I bet the challenge numerous times and all I was offered was Charmander, Bulbasaur or Squirtle.
How can I get other elusive pokemon for my blue version via Pokemon Stadium for N64.

I'm positive you can get all those other Pokémon because I got a ton of them trying to fill out the Hall of Fame and get my Amnesia Psyduck. Have you tried finishing Round Two yet? That might be a pre-requisite. I'm not sure though since I haven't played Stadium in ages.
