My favorite character is Sonic.

I am 22 years old.

I live in St. Peters, St. Charles County, St. Louis Metro Area, Missouri, United States of America, Earth, Earth's Solar System, Milky Way Galaxy, the Universe.

The first Sonic game I played was Sonic Spinball in February, 1996, almost 11 years ago. I was 11 at the time.

I have not played Knuckles Chaotix, Sonic Heroes, Sonic Advance (any of them), Sonic Battle, Sonic Rush, Sonic Riders, Sonic Rivals, or Sonic the Hedgehog (Next-Gen).

My best experience is beating Perfect Chaos is Sonic Adventure: DX, the first time I ever beat a Sonic game without cheating.

My overall favorite Sonic game is Sonic Adventure 2: Battle.

Next, I plan to play either Sonic Riders or Sonic and the Secret Rings.

When I was 6 years old, I got as a birthday present cause it came along with my Genesis. I shocked my family in amazement that a 6 year old beat the game in under an hour. That was my birth as a gamer.

Shadow the Hedgehog. Technically I have played it, but I only played it for 10 minutes.

Playing S3&K for the first time and getting all the emeralds. Fun!

I have DX on the PC too.. and actually I prefered the KeyBoard. And by the way you didn't need to use the "mouse" when playing it.. cause that way it would "really" suck but I don't remember I used any mouse in it. In fact the keyboard wasn't that bad too..

What's your best experience with a Sonic game? After S&K was released, my brother and I started playing Sonic 3 & Knuckles from the start to the end. He was Sonic and I was Tails. We beat the game together. Our strategy was simple. My brother (Sonic) would sit back while I (Tails) do all of the work since Tails is invincible while helping Sonic. Those were very fun times, especially since the age difference between my brother and I were almost exactly the same as the age difference between Sonic and Tails.

What's your overall favorite Sonic game? Sonic Adventure 1 was the best. I also really like Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for nostalgic purposes.

I like that game a lot, but I don't enjoy it as much as I enjoy SA1. For me, SA1 is the perfect Sonic game, but that's just me.

Anyway, I didn't get Sonic Riders because the racing aspect and the fact that it is not like the usual games kind of turned me off of it. Seemed kind of like that old Saturn game, Sonic R and I want another SA type game. I might give it a try, is it really a lot of fun or is it more like a very generic racing game?

i thought sonic riders was actually really fun, i actually just unlocked supersonic a few days ago, the game can be kind of frustrating at first but once you figure out how everything works you can come to enjoy it. i never played sonic r though so i can't really compare it to that, but i the game is really fast paced and unlike a lot of the other games i really enjoyed the cutscenes. even after you beat the story mode there's a bunch of missions with different (sort of) objectives, sort of like Sonic and the Secret Rings (which is probably the one game you absolutely must get if you can and haven't already!)
but yeah if i were you i'd give sonic riders a go :^: <----just because everyone is doing it

Coming from someone who's played both Sonic R (on Sonic Gems Collection) and Sonic Riders (I got it last week.), I think Sonic Riders is a lot better. Sonic R was just a bare-bones on-foot racer, but Sonic Riders is a full-fledged racer on cool airboards, plus it has a decent story (Sonic R doesn't have a story at all.).

Dude, really.. go get Sonic Riders if you didn't. Yeah after you finish it it might get boring (I think I'm the only one who felt that..) but finishing it originally is hard, alot of missions and stuff. I have to admit, it was SO much fun.. get it xDI played the demo of Sonic Riders and found it unbearable. Problem was probably that I didn't know the controls, but I blame that on Sonic Team for making the controls too hard. I knew the F-Zero controls as soon as I picked it up. Sonic Riders was just impossible, methinks.

The controls and gameplay mechanics are really hard to figure out without a manual or a FAQ (and still a little difficult even with the manual), but once you get used to them, it's not as hard as you think. However, it does take more quick thinking and skill with the controller to do well than with most other Sonic games.

Yes, they are. After the Sonic Adventure games, the major Genesis games (Sonic 1, 2, 3, Sonic & Knuckles, and the combos) are the best Sonic games in existance, and 3D Blast and Spinball are pretty good, too.

KinS2 is Knuckles in Sonic 2, which is basically just knuckles in sonic 2 =P, it's kind of neat though seeing as you can fly and his jump is just a little bit shorter, making the final boss a real pain.

Play S3&K with all chaos and super emeralds and see if you don't get mad at Sega for leaving one of the greatest features of older sonic games out of the new ones. The fact that they actually almost put that in sonic next-gen and decided not to is just ridiculous. when will they learn...

I'll never forget this one cuz I thought it was the best game ever; Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for the Sega Genesis.

Well...all I can remember was that I must have been like six...so about 13 years ago (cuz I'll be 19 in a couple of weeks).

Well...lets see, I havent played Sonic Rush 1 or 2, Sonic and the Secret Rings, Shadow the Hedgehog (still dont know why I havent played that one)...and thats about it I think...

What's your favorite experience with a Sonic game?
Hmmmm...thats a toughie cuz Ive had so many, but I'll give the best of the best: First there's the first I collected all the Chaos Emeralds for the first time in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and then there was when I played Sonic Adventure for the first time. I dont know but it felst like life just took a big turn for me all at once as soon as touched the Dreamcast controller (cuz Sonic Adventure was the first game I got for the Dreamcast), man it was just awesome...

What's you're all-time favorite Sonic game?
I know people are goin to be like "WTF, is he crazy!?" But I cant help it if Im a progressive gamer. My favorite Sonic game (believe it or not) is Sonic the Hedgehog-Next Gen. Ok, ok, thats it, thats my favorite Sonic game. I mean I cant help but fall in love it. So it has its quarks, but dont all games have quarks? Like Kingdom Hearts. Its one of the best Playstation franchises goin right now...and people still find things to complain about it. Well thats how I feel when I see bad reviews for Sonic Next Gen. Just because a lot of people gave bad reviews...ok practically everybody gave it bad reviews...doesnt mean that it didnt satisfy for a good, clean, Sonic experience.

Wow...I really dont know. I guess you can say Shadow The Hedgehog...but I might end up playing Sonic Rush first though because its cheaper and I have a DS...so yeah...I'll keep ya posted...
