does anybody here meditate and if so what is ur favorite method of meditation

my favorite form of meditation is the river of life (dont worry if u havent heard of it i only know 10 people who has heard of it)
what u do is u imagine yourself in an area very dark area heavy mist on the ground this area is supposed to represent ur negative energy. u then walk around a little after a while imagin a river of lava this is the extreme it represents all of your fears and things that make u angry after u imagine all of the things that make u angry imagine a cloud that takes u to a field with another river with a rock next to it this area represents all of ur positive energy look into the river and this is also the extremes it represents all of the things that make u happy and content just sit there thinking of every thing that makes u happy if any negative thoughts appear have the cloud take it back to the negative area

that is my favorite form of medatition but there are many others and I would like to hear about them

Wow Ive never done it but I would like to learn

Thou your method of it sound quite complicated O_o

A friend told me once that you had to sit with your legs crossed (like the "clasical" meditation posture) and keep your back straight imagining that your spine is a rope thats being pulled up and down keeping it streched. He told me you also have to stare to the ground thats around 1.5 meteres in front of you and keep looking there. And then just start breathing in and out slowly.

is that a correct way of doing it? or not?

In my opinion theree is no corret way to meditate..As long as your in a state of mind thats oeaceful, or pondering about whats happened that day/week/month theres no "wrong way" to do it really

A friend told me once that you had to sit with your legs crossed (like the "clasical" meditation posture) That would be the basic "Lotus". I meditate when I'm angry or frustrated because it helps "calm the storm of my mind"
