M4tt=Endless Twilight right? If not, how the f*ck is he not a mod yet? He's the most active kid in that forum.
I think one mod for the FFVII is enough seeing has how its barely got a pulse. Regardless, congrats to all new mods that passed.

Firstly, huge congrats to m4tt, like Cecil I feel his modding is long overdue. He is perfectly suited for any FF forum, not just FFVII
Secondly, congrats Seero. I don't know you that well but I've seen good enough signs overall to suggest you'll do the right thing by the Dynasty Warriors forum
Thirdly, tough luck Fanta. I for one would have loved another passionate about the Star Ocean forum get a chance. Unfortunately despite the strong forum vote the staff here feel otherwise...
I also cannot believe gamertech ain't getting a mod chance...tough luck again I guess :(
Anyway, congrats to any others I don't really know who got modded :^:

I feel bad for Shane, he'd be good as a mod but that Dead Rising forum has like 2 more weeks before it's dead. Bad luck gamertech.
I'm glad I got in now I can finally edit my walkthrough in the forum, and do a bunch of other stuff. Thank you all very much!

Thanks to everyone who supported, voted for and congratulated me :D
Also, congrats to people like me who passed this vote, and hard luck to the people who failed this time around. Hopefully you will have another chance in the future. Everyone clearly has many supporters, judging by this thread already, whether they passed or not.

Woo! Hah, I knew Woozie would be up there sooner or later. Good stuff! :link:
Gamertech.. sorry about that. I was pulling for you. Although I have a feeling you'll be up there eventually too.. Just give it some more time for people to get a feel for you. I'd be more than willing to bet you'll be nominated again in the future.

MY NAME SHOULD BE UP THERE!!!
No, it shouldn't. I just love sarcasm.
m4tt, I wish you the best. Have a great time as a mod.
And I wish McCloud great times as a mod. Even though I'll need to get used to seeing that name in red...

It's quite the shocker that gamertech didn't make mod. He's one of the smartest people on this site, particularly when it comes to the PS2.
Congrats to m4tt and Woozie, though! The rest of you I don't really know.

Congratulations. Woozie modding GTA was a long time coming. I remember when I joined back in May '04 that was where I started off. Kudos to the rest as well.
I'm also confused as to why gamertech didn't become a mod. Answers plz kthnxbi.
I have a rotator.

I'm also confused as to why gamertech didn't become a mod. Answers plz kthnxbi.Uhh...he didn't win the vote...
...not really sure on where your confusion lies.
If you're asking why he lost when the poll in the PS2 forum had him winning, it's because that poll is used in conjunction with the mod forum poll. Mods are encouraged to look at that poll to gauge how the members feel of them. Unfortunately it didn't sway enough to win the mod forum vote.

Apparently, as you guys state before each poll, that vote REALLY doesn't matter. Gamertech got 2 pages of yeses and Woozie got 1/2 a page of so-so and apparently the mod vote was the opposite. :(
Congrats to all, even the non-winners, because hey, you still got considered so you must be doing something right.

They don't mean nothing. But getting a yes in there (or a no, or an abstain) in no way guarantees that will be the outcome.

Is the voting system still an all or nothing? Meaning, if one mod votes against someone getting modship then he doesn't get accepted? Or has it been changed to a majority-type system?

Yeah your right man, gt had a heck of alot of yes votes in that poll, as did Fanta has ALL yes, not one NO from the forum regs, yet he didn't get modded either
I too wonder why they even bother with them, too bad Fanta, Pontus & gt didn't make it. Despite what I thought, and the forum votes it didn't seem to be enough, I feel for you guys :(
Although on the bright side some good new mods have being added, I guess you can't win 'em ell...

The in forum votes aren't going to get anyone modded if they fail the mod forum one, but it's possible that a resounding no from them could prevent someone from getting modded.
It's really to weed out a mod shamelessly reccomending a friend just to get them modded, I guess.

gamertech to co-mod Playstation 2: Failed
Oh well, it's not like I didn't see that coming from a mile away. I want to thank all of those who voted for me and who had confidence in my ability to handle the job.
Congratulations to those of you who did get the positions you were vying for. Do us proud.
I agree that Woozie's GTA promo was well overdue.

Where'd you get that idea..? It's a majority vote. And there is always some f*cker who votes "No", no matter how good a candidate is.
