Dark Matches:
Michael Simons versus Quincy James
Exhibition: Singles
Michael Simons has been undefeated in PWW since his debut, and has yet to receive a singles loss in his entire career. Could tonight be a breakthrough match for Quincy James? As we go into the beginning lock-up, Simons uses his size advantage to force James into the corner. The referee asks for a clean break, cautiously after the way Simons snapped last week. Simons steps off, rolling his arms a few times. He’s ready to go tonight against his highflying opponent. James moves in for another tie-up, but Simons cuts him off with a knee to the midsection. He clubs James over the head with a vicious punch. Simons whips James off to the ropes, catching him on his return for a hip toss, but James attempts a reversal, only to have that blocked. Simons quickly drives a knee into Quincy’s gut and places his leg over his head, backflipping out and nailing a lariat to take him down to the mat. Simons outstretches his arms, expecting cheers from the crowd for his athleticism, but most of the crowd doesn’t give a sh*t. Simons flips them off, getting some boos. He grabs Quincy for a headlock, but James had enough time to rest to know to counter it, grabbing the left arm of Simons and twisting it into a hammerlock. Simons battles back to a vertical base and grabs James around the neck with his free arm, taking him over with a snapmare. Simons waits on James to get back to his feet and nails a perfectly placed dropkick on the chin, sending James into the ropes. Quincy falls through the ropes, landing on the outside floor. Simons walks to the corner, climbing to the top, and is preparing to take a page out of his opponent’s playbook with a plancha, but James blocks it as Simons lands, connecting with a HUGE dropkick that sends Simons into the steel steps! We get our first “Holy sh*t!” chant of the evening as Simons’ back collides with the cold, unforgiving ring steps.
James takes a breather before rolling back inside. He does a little point to himself, and then to the outside, getting a small pop from the crowd. James runs to the opposite side of the ring and comes back for a tope, but his feet get caught on the ropes, and unfortunately for him, Simons catches him, grabbing him by the neck. James feet are hung on the middle ropes now as Simons wraps him in a front facelock… AND SPIKES HIM WITH A DDT ON THE OUTSIDE! JESUS CHRIST! The fans are going insane, and Simons has damn near paralyzed his opponent!
Quincy lies on the floor for a second before Simons lifts him and chops him ferociously in the chest. Quincy looks to be in pain now as Simons rolls him inside the ring. Simons climbs to the top rope, taking his sweet time, before leaping off for a leg drop. But the endeavor is to no avail as James moves out of the way, causing Simons to land on his ass on the canvas. James gets to his feet, still holding his neck in pain. He springs off the middle rope, looking for a quebrada DDT on The Unknown, but Simons sidesteps, and James lands on his feet… only to take a tremendous lariat from Michael! James flips, landing on his neck! The fans groan at the sick display, but before James can even think about returning to his feet, Simons lifts him to them… and drives him into the canvas with the Blind Eye Halo! The Unknown hooks the near leg, and the three count is academic.
Winner: Michael Simons via Pinfall at 8:30
Brett Stokes versus Alex Berlot
Exhibition: Singles
Stokes extends his hand for a shake, but when Berlot goes to accept, he rubs his hand through his fingers. Classic heel maneuver. Stokes and Berlot lock up, with Berlot quickly shoving Stokes into the corner. The ref steps in to intervene, and Berlot backs off… before slapping Stokes across the face. That hurt both his cheek and his ego. Stokes responds with a few forearm shots before grabbing Berlot for an Irish whip attempt, only to have it reversed. Berlot attempts a double leg takedown on Stokes’ return, but Brett has it telegraphed and drives a vicious knee into the temple of his adversary. Stokes leaps over Berlot into a sunset flip pin attempt for a two count. Stokes gets back to his feet, and Berlot likewise, and the two meet in the center of the ring. Berlot attempts another collar and elbow tie-up, but Stokes cuts him off with a knee to the midsection and quickly runs to the ropes, springs off, and nails a tornado DDT! The fans pop nicely for that, and Stokes makes another cover, getting a two count again.
Stokes gets to his feet, pulling Berlot up slowly. He drives a few shots to the back of Berlot’s neck, but suddenly gets charged into the corner. Berlot lifts Stokes with ease, using the strength from his amateur wrestling background, and places him on the top rope. Berlot goes to climb the ropes, but Stokes slaps him across the face, reciprocating the disrespect from earlier. Stokes turns Berlot around and leaps off… CALF BRANDING! He drives Berlot’s head into the mat with his knee! Stokes grabs Berlot from behind and lifts him… IDOL BOMB! One, two, three! Stokes picks up a rather easy win.
Winner: Brett Stokes via Pinfall at 6:50
We’re on FX! now, in a late time slot, and you know what that means – LESS RESTRICTIONS! WHOO! MORE PROFANITY! WHOO! REAL WRESTLING! WHOOOOO! But not everybody is happy tonight. Nicolas Smirnov, the man who claimed his finances and influence throughout the world got PWW the time slot on Fox, claims he will make Roderick Brookes pay tonight for getting PWW thrown off Fox and put on FX! Furthermore, Kenzo Katana must defend the PWW World Heavyweight Championship against one of PWW’s hottest prospects, Adam Pugh. All this and much, much more is scheduled to come tonight from The Palestra in the heart of Philadelphia! Over 7,000 fans are packed in the arena as we go live. After the dazzling pyrotechnic display, we head to the back…
Match one:
Will Bryer versus Zack Wicked
Exhibition: Battle without Honor
To prove this is a new era in Pro Wrestling Warriors, we’re starting things off with a… Battle without Honor? What the f*ck? Well, whatever. I’m not the booker here. …Cough. Anyway, Will Bryer is coming off a loss last week and looks to avenge it. Adam Pugh is at ringside as Zack Wicked makes his entrance. Bryer takes one look and is a bit frightened by the 6’8, 300-plus pound frame of this mammoth. The fans don’t know what to think of Zack as he steps through the ropes to enter the ring. The bell rings, and Bryer immediately runs at Wicked, trying to get an advantage. Will attempts a clothesline… but walks into a big boot from Wicked, taking him down. Bryer lands on the back of his head, flopping about like a fish. Pugh yells at him to get back up, and Bryer does, only to take a lariat from Wicked, sending him back down to the mat.
Wicked lifts Bryer to his feet, kicking him ferociously in the midsection. He whips him into the ropes, and Bryer manages to run up the corner turnbuckles, attempting a twisting corkscrew, but slips on the ropes and lands face-first on the mat! OUCH! Pugh yells at Bryer to stop eating so many donuts as Wicked grins sadistically and slides out of the ring. The fans cheer as Wicked grabs a steel chair and slides back inside, waiting on Bryer to get up. The protégé of Adam Pugh slowly rises… and ducks under a swinging chair shot at his head! He dropkicks the chair into Wicked’s chest, sending him staggering through the ropes to the outside floor, dropping the chair along the way.
Bryer grabs the chair and sets it up near the ropes. He runs to the opposite side of the ring, jumps off the chair, and jumps to the top rope… and springs off with a crossbody… BUT WICKED CATCHES HIM! What a blatant display of power by the 300-pounder Wicked to catch Will Bryer from that position. Wicked holds Bryer in position… and drives his spine into the turnbuckle post. The fans are chanting “We want tables!” by this point, and Wicked complies, grabbing a table from underneath the ring. He slides the table inside, grabbing Bryer and throwing him inside with a military press slam through the ropes! Wicked pulls himself up to the apron, and ultimately to the top rope, preparing his Wicked Splash, but Adam Pugh trips him up, crotching Wicked on the top rope. Bryer grabs the table and sets it up near the corner, then motioning to Pugh he’s going to drive him through the table with a huracarrana! Bryer sets up… but Wicked catches him! He lifts Bryer and sets up a superbomb through the table… but Bryer counters with punches, getting off the shoulders of Zack Wicked. Bryer grabs Wicked and attempts a superplex, but Wicked shoves him off, sending Bryer to the mat. Bryer shoves the table out of the way and climbs back up, driving some shots to the jaw of Zack Wicked. He leaps… and nails a huracarrana from the top rope! Bryer takes a moment to compose himself before making the cover, all the while Adam Pugh is yelling “Pin him!” at his student. Bryer makes the cover, but Wicked kicks out with great authority at two.
Bryer grabs hold of the top rope and leaps to it, showing some incredible agility and balance, but Wicked quickly pulls the rope out, sending Bryer onto it with his legs, before flipping and landing on the outside floor! HOLY SH*T! Wicked rolls out of the ring and grabs a table, leaning it against the corner where the guardrails meet. Wicked grabs Bryer and rolls him inside the ring, just barely. He climbs onto the apron and grabs Bryer, rolling him onto the apron. Oh, God… He can’t be… Wicked lifts Bryer… He’s setting up a Wicked Bomb from the apron, through the table on the outside! Adam Pugh quickly steps between the table and Wicked, motioning with his arms for him to stop. Wicked charges, throwing Bryer off anyway, but Pugh catches him before falling to the floor, yelling at Bryer to get off him. Bryer slowly gets up, and Pugh tells him to get his “fat ass back in the ring.” Bryer starts to walk toward Wicked, but before he can, Zack flies off the apron with a shoulder block that sends Bryer onto his ass again! Wicked lifts Bryer up and rolls him inside the ring.
Zack grabs the table from earlier and sets it up in the corner, leaning it against the turnbuckles. He lifts Bryer, but it seems Will has a second wind, firing some shots to Zack’s jaw. Will attempts a slingshot corkscrew splash, but Wicked catches him… and nails a release German Suplex, driving him right on his head! Bryer slowly gets up, but is in a daze. He walks into a boot to the stomach by Wicked, who hoists him to his shoulders, charges, and drives Bryer through the table that was propped in the corner with the Wicked Bomb! Holy sh*t! Holy sh*t! Holy sh*t! Wicked pulls Bryer from between the remnants of the table and folds him up like an accordion, getting a three count.
Winner: Zack Wicked via Pinfall at 14:20
Wicked gets to his feet, raising his arms, and he’s the only man in Pro Wrestling Warriors who can say he debuted in a Battle without Honor… and WON! Pugh slaps Bryer in the back of his head, yelling something about Jenny Craig as the two head backstage.
Match two:
Rich Storrs versus Damien Helley versus AJ Cross
Exhibition: Triple threat
All three men plan to make a big splash in the PWW pool tonight. AJ Cross is coming off an impressive showing in last week’s ladder match for a title shot against Kenzo Katana, which Adam Pugh won. Damien Helley defeated Will Bryer last week in a good match. And Rich Storrs got his ass kicked by Roderick Brookes, but squeaked through with a win via disqualification. Storrs and Helley start things off against Cross, double teaming him with some shots in the ropes. Cross manages to fight Storrs off with a pair of slaps and a dropkick that sends him to the mat. Helley grabs Cross from behind with a school boy, getting a two count before Cross kicks out. AJ grabs Helley, but gets attacked from behind by Storrs, who nails a front dropkick to the back of Cross, sending him into Helley in the corner. Both men are squashed as Storrs runs to the opposite side of the ring and comes back for big stinger splash, but Cross nails a superkick to his jaw, sending him to the mat. Cross grabs Helley and the two start exchanging a barrage of fists and forearms. Cross gets the better of the inexperienced Damien Helley, shoving him into the ropes. Helley comes back for a shot, but Cross takes him to the mat with a drop toehold and quickly applies a front facelock. Helley battles to his knees before grabbing Cross’ arm and going behind him with a hammerlock. Cross sits now, grabbing Helley around the hair and taking him down with a snapmare. Storrs is back to his feet now, and quickly kicks Helley in the spine. Ouch.
Cross laughs at Storrs, wags his finger, and shows him how it’s done, delivering an even more painful kick to Helley, which omits a loud, echoing SMACK throughout the War Zone. Cross cups his hand around his ear, and the crowd cheers, letting him know he got the better. Storrs wags his finger this time, cups his hands, and breathes into them… then chops Helley in the back. Helley gets up now, infuriated at the two men. Helley slaps Storrs across the face, then Cross slaps Helley across his. Rich reaches back and slaps both Cross and Helley across the face. Cross quickly grabs Storrs around the nose with one hand and brings his other down across the bridge of his nose. Helley goes to poke Cross in the eyes, but he holds his hand up between his eyes and Helley’s hand to block his fingers. Helley reaches around Cross and slaps him in the back of the head, though. Cross falls forward, getting poked in the eyes anyway. Storrs grabs Helley by the hair and puts him in a side headlock and begins giving him a noogie. Cross rubs his eyes and grabs Storrs in a side headlock as well, giving him a taste of his own medicine with a noogie. The three men struggle around the ring a bit before Helley grabs hold of the rope, and by this time, the crowd is in stitches at the Three Stooges parody.
A loud “SHEMP! SHEMP! SHEMP!” chant grows as Cross chops Helley across the chest and whips him into the ropes, attempting a back bodydrop on his return. Helley leapfrogs over and nails an unsuspecting Rich Storrs with a flying forearm. Storrs falls through the ropes to the outside and Cross grabs Helley from behind with the tights, rolling him up for two before Helley kicks out. Helley grabs his tights and complains to the referee, but Cross loudly says “NOPE, DIDN’T DO IT!” Helley turns away from Cross for a moment, complaining to the referee, and Cross grabs Helley by his underwear, giving him a wedgie! JEEEEZUS H. CHRIST! Cross drops Helley ass-first onto his knee with an atomic drop. Greatness hops around, and Cross imitates his pelvic thrusts from earlier this evening, following with a bionic elbow! Helley drops to the corner, holding his head. Cross dances to the other side of the ring, before turning back toward Helley who’s slumped in the lower turnbuckles. “This one’s for Dan!” yells Cross, as he goes to run toward Helley, presumably for the bronco buster, but Storrs reaches in and trips Cross, sending him onto his face.
Storrs quickly springs off the top rope and drops the leg across the back of AJ’s head, rolling him over. Helley gets out of the corner and pulls Storrs off Cross at the count of two. Helley pulls Storrs to his feet and kicks him in the stomach, doubling him over for a snap suplex. Damien signals that the match is about to end as he lifts Storrs and prepares to drive him into the canvas with his patented double knee backbreaker, but Cross quickly grabs Helley around the waist… German Suplex with a bridge! One, two, but Storrs breaks it up! Storrs grabs Cross now… Reverse DDT! Storrs lifts Helley and boots him in the stomach. He puts Helley in the inverted facelock and sets up the Dollar Mark, but Helley flips out and lands behind Rich on his feet. Helley grabs Storrs and shows just why he’s GOT NO GAME! Storrs rolls on the mat for a second, but before Helley can make the cover, AJ nails him with the Cross Cutter! Helley drops to the mat, but instead of pinning him, he folds Storrs up… One, two, three! AJ wins!
Winner: AJ Cross via Pinfall at 12:55
Helley pounds the mat with frustration after he gets his senses back, but by that point AJ Cross has his arm raised and is declared the victor. Helley shoves Cross from behind, yelling at him that he stole his victory, but Cross isn’t backing down. AJ shoves Helley back before the referee steps between, telling the two men to either shake hands or separate. They opt to do the latter, with Helley leaving the ring to boos.
Match three:
Tristan Novak versus Rob Cavallo
Exhibition: Singles
Written by Dark Cadence
This pseudo Grudge Match from last week’s edition of War starts off with the two men circling around the wring, measuring each other up. After a few moments of hesitation, Novak and Cavallo go after each other, which leads to a Collar-and-Elbow Tie-up. This would eventually lead to Cavallo and Novak trading elbows, until Novak stomps on Cavallo’s foot before pulling Cavallo in for a side headlock. Cavallo tries to break the hold by whipping Novak into the ropes, but Novak stops the momentum in the middle of the ring. Novak then wrenches back even more, and tosses Cavallo over, keeping the headlock in tact. However, the hold does not last for long, as Cavallo shows his flexibility and locks in a leg scissors hold. Cavallo’s hold does not last long, however, as Novak powers out, and kicks up to his feet, which is quickly followed by Cavallo. Cavallo and Novak stare down at each other again, before Novak goes nuts and goes into a sequence of punches and kicks to Cavallo. Unfortunately, Cavallo is able to block every attack thrown at him, and during a Novak kick, Cavallo ducks behind, and dropkicks Novak so hard he goes through the ropes and to the outside. The crowd starts chanting for Cavallo, as he rebounds against the far left ropes, and flies over the ropes to hit a Tope Con Hilo, knocking Novak back down to the ground. Cavallo picks up Novak, and body slams him onto the ring floor, before lifting his arm up and pointing to the sky. Cavallo jumps onto the ring apron, climbs the top rope, and waits for Novak to get up. However, when he does get up, Novak anticipates the next move, and jumps into the seats to try and get away from Cavallo. This does not stop Cavallo, however, as Cavallo jumps and soars through the arena nailing Novak with a Tope Corkscrew Hilo. The crowd erupts with cheers, as Cavallo jumps to his feet to get congratulations from the fans for such a bad ass move. After a few moments of celebrating, Cavallo takes Novak back into the ring and goes for the pin, but only gets a two count. Cavallo gets up and starts to complain to the referee, which gives Novak time to recover and all that jazz.
As Cavallo turns around, he is met with a stiff kick to his right thigh from Novak, which is followed by another to his left thigh. Novak follows this up with a rolling elbow that staggers Cavallo. Being the opportunist that he is, Novak then runs against the ropes, and rebounds off hitting a spinning wheel kick to Cavallo’s face taking him down. Novak then stomps on Cavallo’s face before hitting a running flip leg drop across Cavallo’s throat. Novak then scouts Cavallo, and as soon as Cavallo gets to his knees, Novak charges and nails him with a Shining Wizard! Novak goes for the cover, but is only able to get a short two count. Novak is clearly pissed, and stomps on Cavallo’s stomach a few times, before going over to his legs. Novak lifts up Cavallo’s legs as if he’s about to lock in some Sharpshooter-esque move, but instead, he flips over in a somersault and nails another leg drop to the throat of Cavallo. Novak goes for the cover again, but once again, is only able to get a two count. Novak puts Cavallo on his side before hitting him with a running dropkick to the back. With Cavallo down, Novak goes over to the referee and asks what the hell he’s doing. The answer seems to be inaudible, but in all likeliness it probably consisted of a phrase that contains many obscenities. Novak then goes back over to Cavallo, who has apparently been playing possum, as he rolls Novak up with a small package, only to get yet another two count.
Cavallo then picks up Novak and whips him into the ropes. Off the rebound, Novak ducks a clothesline attempt from Cavallo, and springboards off with a Cross Body Block, taking Cavallo down. Instead of going for the pinfall, Novak signals to the crowd, and runs against eh far ropes and comes back with the Chastise. Novak quickly goes for the cover, but once again, only receives a two count. From there, Novak climbs the top rope, and looks to go for a moonsault, but as he jumps, Cavallo moves out of the way, and instead of crashing and burning like most would, Novak lands on his feet, only to get taken down with a STIFF Superkick from Cavallo. Cavallo then jumps up onto the turnbuckle and waits for Novak to get back up. Once he does, Cavallo jumps off the turnbuckle and goes to hit a Springboard Hurracanrana, but he is unable to flip Novak over, as Novak holds on to the Hurracanrana, and is about to Powerbomb Cavallo, until Cavallo is able to do a backflip to get out of the situation. Novak goes for a Superkick of his own, but Cavallo blocks it, and takes him down with the Time Traveler.
Cavallo then goes to the outside, and stalks Novak for a bit, before attempting to hit the Back To the Future. However Novak has it scouted, and ducks, leaving Cavallo to crash and burn. Novak wisely goes for the pin cover grabbing the tights for the win.
Winner: Tristan Novak via Pinfall at 11:55
Match four:
Seth Frost versus Tyler Hart
Exhibition: Pure
Written by Dean
Frost and Hart have no love lost. These two have been at each other’s throats for the past month, with Hart finding his niche as a promising wrestler with loads of potential and a member of The Awakening. While he shares the same view on giving 100% in the ring and keeping the body clean of poison as Seth Frost, the two men differ in styles. Hart subscribes to the British Lucharesu style of technical wrestling while Seth Frost uses a more traditional style of technical wrestling. Hart is also fonder of cheap shots and attacks than Frost, who believes in upholding as much honor as possible in the ring.
Frost offers a handshake, but Hart quickly grabs it and twists his arm into an arm wrench. Frost rolls through to reverse the pressure and then applies an arm wrench on Hart, before going behind with a hammerlock. Hart reverses into a hammerlock of his own, before pulling forward back into an armwrench, then spinning out of that on the mat, getting to his feet, slapping Frost’s arm down, and dropkicking him in the face, all in the span of about forty-five seconds. The fans pop as Hart mounts Frost’s back, slapping him across the back of the head with disrespectful paintbrushes. Frost manages to get to his feet and grabs Hart after turning around, driving some forearms into his head. Hart grabs Frost and begins delivering some blows to his midsection from the inside of a clinch. Frost backs off momentarily, and Hart fires a stiff chop to his chest, lighting him up.
Frost looks none too pleased about this and returns fire, unleashing a brutal chop that sends an echo throughout the arena, reverberating in the deep recesses of the Palestra. Frost whips Hart into the ropes and attempts a clothesline on the return, but Hart grabs the arm while ducking under, twisting it into a modified half straitjacket. He places his foot inside of Frost’s knee, taking him down to the mat. He attempts to grab Frost’s other arm and apply a full straitjacket, but Frost rolls through, getting out of the arm hold. He slides through Hart’s legs and locks on a pumphandle. Frost lifts Hart and delivers a nasty pumphandle suplex, sending Hart to the mat. Hart rolls out of the ring, shrugging his shoulder. Frost attempts a baseball slide out, but Hart sidesteps and quickly slaps Frost across the face. Hart grabs Seth and whips him into the steel guardrails!
“Over here! Over here! Over here!” is screamed from one side of the arena, and Hart flips them off, getting boos from the crowd. Tyler goes to follow up, but Frost quickly drives a kick to his abdomen and whips him into the guardrails from whence the cheering came. Frost charges Hart, but Tyler quickly back bodydrops him over the top of the guardrails. Seth uses his agility to land on his feet, and grabs Hart by his long hair, pulling him toward the barrier. Frost throws a right hand shot, and the referee warns him about it. The ref has had enough now, having counted to ten, and demands the men get back in the ring. However, due to the pure rules, they can go to twenty without being disqualified. Frost chops Hart across the chest now, and tries to step over the guardrails, but Hart dropkicks him in mid-motion, sending Frost all the way back into the crowd, a few rows in.
Hart leaps over the barrier with ease and clubs the back of Frost’s neck. He lifts Seth up and drives a big knee into his midsection, setting up a snap suplex on the concrete. Frost blocks it and attempts his own, but Hart hooks his leg between Frost’s for the classic block and releases the hold. Frost charges forward… and Hart rolls him into a single leg crab! Hart attempts to lock Frost in the Texas Funeral from the position, but Seth manages to wriggle free. He gets to the reasonably safe haven of the crowd, and Hart loses him for a moment… before being blindsided with a lariat! Both men go down to the floor as the referee is at eighteen. Frost suddenly realizes he’s running the risk of being disqualified and tries to head back, but Hart grabs hold of his leg, tripping him to the floor. Frost’s body smacks off the concrete, and Hart jumps on him, applying a sleeper. Frost tries to fight toward the ring, but can’t get Hart off him in time…
Result: Double Count-Out
Hart tries to choke Frost out with his own finisher now, the Cryonic Sleeper, but Frost fights out, and the two men continue to brawl in the crowd. Several security guards have to pry them apart, as they’re practically foaming at the mouths.
Match five:
Voltaire versus Drake Vinaldi
Exhibition: Singles
Voltaire and Vinaldi detest each other by this point. Vinaldi goes into his karate pose as Voltaire circles the ring crazily. They move in to the center, and Vinaldi quickly unloads a series of kicks to the lower extremities of Matthew Voltaire, working over the legs. Voltaire manages to leap over a few of them, and quickly dropkicks Vinaldi in the chest, sending him flipping backwards. Vinaldi gets to his feet, but before he can react, Voltaire splashes him in the corner. Voltaire unleashes a side we’ve never seen before – a non-apathetic, sincere, serious side, as he drives some stiff shots into the head and back of Vinaldi. Drake manages to shove Voltaire off, stunning him a bit, before rolling forth with a kappou kick to the head! Voltaire crashes into the turnbuckle pads, holding the back of his head, and Vinaldi charges with a knee strike to the temple! Vinaldi places his foot on Voltaire’s face… and viciously SCRAPES it against his nose and face, trying to peel the skin of his skull. Voltaire runs to the opposite side of the ring, coming back for the face wash, but Voltaire catches his foot and flips Vinaldi backwards, sending him onto his back. Voltaire quickly leaps to his feet and nails a standing shooting star press on Vinaldi, making the cover for two. Vinaldi gets to his feet, and Voltaire runs at him for a shot, but Vinaldi side steps and quickly kicks him in the legs, taking him down to his knees.
Voltaire is kneeling, stunned now, as Vinaldi drives a series of vicious kicks to his head, over and over again, causing Voltaire to become busted open once more, and blood begins to ooze from his eyebrow, splattering on the mat. Vinaldi continuously drives his foot into the face of his adversary before lifting him to his feet… BRAINBUSTER! Vinaldi screams angrily now, and the referee tries to calm him down, but Vinaldi kicks the referee right in the head, knocking him out! HOLY SH*T! The Sicilian Shooter lifts Voltaire and throws him through the ropes to the outside floor. He steps onto the apron, with Voltaire lying on his back on the outside floor, and leaps… LUNATIC HIGH ON VOLTAIRE ON THE OUTSIDE! He nearly crushes Voltaire’s sternum under the force of his own two feet.
Vinaldi grabs a steel chair at ringside and places it over Voltaire’s skull. He climbs back onto the apron, setting up a Lunatic High onto his face, with all the fans screaming horrified at him. Voltaire quickly throws the chair up, striking Vinaldi in the head with it. Vinaldi grabs hold of the top rope to keep from falling, and Voltaire manages to get to his feet, pulling on the apron to climb onto it. Voltaire jumps over a low kick from Vinaldi and quickly grabs him into a DDT onto the apron! Vinaldi falls to the floor, and Voltaire reaches under the ring… grabbing a ladder! Oh, sh*t. Voltaire sets the ladder up and grabs Vinaldi, rolling him onto the floor. Voltaire climbs the ladder, setting up a huge dive. By the time he gets to the top, Vinaldi is to his feet, and Voltaire adjusts… HALO OFF THE LADDER! Voltaire crashes on top of Vinaldi, and the two men collapse on the ringside floor! Holy sh*t! Referees come out to separate the men, which is an easy task at this point.
Result: No Contest
Match six:
Nicolas Smirnov versus Roderick Brookes
Exhibition: Singles
Brookes starts things off quickly, charging Smirnov with a stiff clothesline that sends him to the mat. Brookes doesn’t even take the cigarette out of his mouth as he drops some forearms into Smirnov’s face, before… clawing him, tearing into the skin. He lifts Smirnov and chops him viciously in the chest. Brookes whips Smirnov into the ropes, who comes back for a shoulder block, but fails to take the bigger man down. Roderick takes the cigarette out of his mouth, tossing it aside, and slaps Smirnov across the face for trying something so stupid and whips him into the ropes, but this time gets taken down via yakuza kick by Smirnov. Nicolas lifts Brookes and starts driving some knees into his midsection. Smirnov sets Brookes up… and takes him over with a snap suplex! He makes the cover, but barely gets two on Brookes. Nicolas lifts Roderick to his feet and drives a European Uppercut into his jaw, but Brookes shrugs it off, laughing a bit, before driving his own stiff as hell Euro Uppercut into Smirnov, sending him staggering into the ropes. Smirnov comes back with a big forearm shot that rocks Brookes. He attempts a bodyslam on Roderick, but Brookes blocks it with an elbow to the side of the head, causing Smirnov to drop to a knee. Roderick drives a kick to the temple of Nicolas Smirnov, and he falls to the mat, holding his head in pain.
Brookes makes the cover, but Smirnov kicks out at two. Brookes lifts Nicolas and chops him in the chest. He follows with another Euro Uppercut, causing Smirnov to fall into the ropes. Brookes whips Smirnov across the ring, setting up a back bodydrop, but Smirnov kicks him right in the chest. Brookes gets up and turns around, looking to be in agony, and Smirnov rebounds off the ropes with a lariat! He takes the big man down and makes the cover… one, two, no! Smirnov pulls Brookes up once again and shoves him into the corner. He begins duking it out, driving some shots to the midsection of Brookes, but Roderick quickly clinches and drives some vicious knee strikes into Smirnov’s head. He grabs Nicolas and nails an STO, dropping him right on his head! Brookes makes a motion with his throat that he’s going to kill Smirnov now. Brookes lifts Smirnov to his shoulders, setting up what looked to be a modified emerald frosion, but Smirnov slides out, nailing Brookes with a knee to the ass – simple, yet effective. He bulldogs Roderick into the mat, but doesn’t make a cover, and instead does something we don’t see Smirnov do too often – climbs the ropes. He gets to the middle rope, facing Brookes. Smirnov leaps off with a big knee strike, nailing Roderick right in the head.
Nicolas gets to his feet again, once again opting not to cover, and runs to the ropes… big leg drop! Now he makes the cover… but Brookes still kicks out! Smirnov’s had enough, taking his elbow pad off. He pulls Brookes up and slaps him across the face. Smirnov runs into the opposite ropes, coming back for another lariat, but Brookes ducks under… T-BONE! He takes the 240-pound Smirnov over, keeping the hold on. He lifts Smirnov back to his feet… URA-NAGE SLAM! Brookes quickly goes behind Smirnov now, locking on a cobra clutch. He lifts Smirnov all the way to his feet, and eventually off his feet with a cobra clutch backbreaker! Brookes makes the pin, but Smirnov shows impressive resilience by kicking out at two. Roderick pulls Smirnov to his feet before snapmaring him to the mat. He chops Nicolas in the back, kicks him in the chest, and drops a big knee into his head! Smirnov is stunned, and Brookes takes advantage. He lifts him to his feet and nails an inverted atomic drop. Brookes runs to the opposite side of the ring and rebounds for a kick, but Smirnov ducks under and grabs Brookes… RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! Smirnov is too tired to make the cover right away, but eventually hooks the near leg, only getting a two count!
Smirnov pulls Brookes up once again… but takes a palm strike to the head! Brookes grabs Smirnov… CHURCH BOMBING! He folds Smirnov down… one, two, thr—NO! Smirnov somehow kicks out! Brookes looks in disbelief and quickly grabs Smirnov into position… Spike Piledriver! Smirnov’s head collides with the mat! Brookes hooks both legs, and Smirnov cannot kick out. He gets the three count.
Winner: Roderick Brookes via Pinfall at 10:05
Brookes stomps the sh*t out of Smirnov after the mat, kicking him all the way out of the ring. He gets on the mic and trash talks Bruce Bishop about their match next week, saying Bishop doesn’t stand a chance. Brookes then grabs the infamous steel chair and brings it into the ring. He pulls Smirnov on top of it, wraps his legs around his own, then lifts his arms… CURB STOMP ON THE CHAIR! Bruce Bishop isn’t in the building, which is common knowledge! Roderick Brookes is a *****!
Match seven:
Darius Falcon versus Lance Van Leer
Exhibition: Singles
Lance Van Leer is making his entrance, but doesn’t even get to the ring before Falcon attacks him from behind, nailing him in the back of the head with a vile chair shot! Van Leer drops to the floor, and Falcon raises the chair above his head, smacking it across Lance’s back! Van Leer crawls toward the ring, getting his entrance gear off. He pulls himself up, only to take another shot from Falcon’s chair, this time to the ribs. Falcon rolls LVL into the ring, grabbing another chair from ringside and sliding in. He places a chair under LVL’s head and grabs the other, setting up a conchairto… but LVL quickly grabs the chair underneath him and drives it between Falcon’s legs! Falcon drops the steel chair, and LVL gets up, tackling Darius and pounding on him with some vicious shots to the head! LVL wants his vengeance, but KANSHI runs from the back. He grabs Van Leer, but takes a clothesline. Tyler Hart runs in from behind Van Leer with a steel chair and cracks it over his head as LVL turns around! Van Leer has been busted open! The fans are booing until Kenzo Katana and Brady Cruise run to the ring. The Awakening scatter, but the damage has been done…
Result: No Contest
Main Event:
Kenzo Katana © versus Adam Pugh
Exhibition: Singles; PWW World Heavyweight Championship
The fans are pounding the PWW signs that are draped over the barricades as Kenzo Katana awaits Adam Pugh’s arrival in the ring. After narrowly saving Lance Van Leer from a career-threatening injury, alongside Brady Cruise, Revolution head backstage. Adam Pugh makes his way to the ring, with Will Bryer by his side, who is still rubbing his neck after the ass kicking he got earlier from Zack Wicked. Emily is also at ringside for the match, cheering her man on. The bell rings, and we get a handshake from these two. Collar and elbow tie-up starts it off, with Katana shoving Pugh into the corner. Pugh turns Katana around, getting him backed into the corner. He lets go of the tie-up and chops Katana in the chest, but Kenzo just smirks, grabs Pugh, throws him into the corner, and unleashes a nasty palm strike to the sternum, causing Pugh to go into a violent coughing fit. Kenzo whips Pugh into the opposite side and charges him, but Pugh lifts his legs over Katana’s shoulders and flips him into a sunset flip pin attempt for a brief two count. Kenzo quickly rolls backwards to get his shoulders off the mat and grabs Pugh around the legs and waist, lifting him and spinning him around… SICILIAN CRAB! He drags Pugh toward the center of the ring, but Bryer manages to reach in and pull Pugh back into the ropes. The referee sees it and orders Bryer to go to the back, with Emily slapping him in the back of the head for being so obvious.
Katana gets to his feet and rakes the back of an unsuspecting Tragic Artist. Pugh turns around, and Katana catches him with a knee to the sternum. He whips Pugh across the ring, setting up a spinning back chop, but it is Pugh who strikes first, with a leg lariat that sends Katana into the canvas. He covers for two before Katana uses a matrix-style escape and grabs his leg, tucking it under his femur, before dropping it with rapid quickness into the back of Adam Pugh’s head! Flick kick! Pugh rolls around on the mat, holding his head. He gets to his knees, but by that point Katana is ready, driving a vicious kick to Pugh’s chest. Adam falls backwards, landing on the mat. Katana moves in, but Pugh leaps up… kip up rana! He takes the unsuspecting World Champion down with the move. Pugh goes to cover, but Katana’s leg flies upwards, catching Pugh in the face. Pugh staggers through the ropes, landing on the outside floor. Katana gets to his feet and charges, dropkicking through the ropes like a heat-seeking missile, colliding with Pugh’s face! The fans go nuts as Katana gets to his feet, taking an unneeded risk in this championship match. But it has a huge payoff, as Pugh seems out of it after that effective, dazzling display of agility and martial-arts technique.
Katana throws Pugh back into the ring, rolling inside himself for a cover, but Pugh kicks out at two and a half. Katana looks a bit annoyed and gets to his feet before casually kicking Adam in the side of the face. Adam turns, getting to his feet again, and Katana fires a nasty chop to his chest, sending Pugh into the ropes. Katana goes to follow up, but Pugh grabs hold of the ropes and lifts his leg, shoving them into Katana’s chest. Kenzo staggers backwards, and Pugh charges, snapping off a nice enzuigiri kick to the back of the head! Pugh imitates some Japanese wrestler taunts before running to the ropes, springing off the middle rope, and nailing an asai moonsault on the downed Katana! He hooks the leg, but Katana powers out at two. Pugh quickly grabs Katana’s arm and rolls him into la Majistral, but Kenzo shifts the weight to get his own pin on Pugh. Adam kicks out before the three count and quickly slaps Kenzo across the face, showing disrespect to the PWW Champion!
Katana gets up, holding his cheek, and staring at Pugh very angrily. Adam seems a bit intimidated, so he runs to the ropes, and comes back to take a knee to the stomach that sends him flipping onto the mat. Katana lies Pugh down prone and viciously kicks him in the side of the ear! OUCH! Pugh rolls over, holding his ear and screaming “WHAT?! WHAT?!” as if he’s just gone deaf. Katana kicks him in the head quickly and follows up with a snapping t-bone suplex! Kenzo doesn’t make the cover, and instead applies an arm triangle choke on Pugh. Adam manages to roll over and put his other hand between Katana’s leg to prevent the hold from being applied appropriately, and uses his weight to force Katana onto his shoulders for a two count before our champion grabs Pugh’s arm and twists it into a fujiwara armbar! Pugh is in trouble now as the champion has him locked in the submission hold! He struggles to find the ropes, and Emily is pounding on the apron for Pugh to get a break! After a moment of struggle, Adam gets to the ropes, and the referee counts Kenzo down, forcing him off. Kenzo lifts Pugh and sets up an Irish whip, but Pugh reverses. Kenzo rebounds off the ropes for a springboard enzuigiri, but Pugh counters with a dropkick, nailing Kenzo in the stomach! Kenzo drops to the mat, and Pugh quickly grabs him… CHICAGO FIRE! CHICAGO FIRE! Pugh has Kenzo locked in the grounded double arm chickenwing, and he has nowhere to go! Kenzo struggles as he’s in a lot of pain here, and for the first time since winning the title, he’s in serious jeopardy of losing it! Kenzo manages to fight to a vertical base, amazingly, and breaks the hold, somehow using his strength and elasticity to counter the submission. Pugh seems disappointed, but doesn’t allow it to get the better of him, as he nails a nice leg lariat.
Adam climbs to the top rope, setting Kenzo up to end the match… Harlem Hangover! Pugh nails a front-flip leg drop off the top rope on Kenzo! He hooks the leg… one, two, thr—NO! Kenzo shoots a shoulder up at the last possible instant! Pugh pounds the mat, but Erica tells him to stay on Kenzo. Adam fires some shots to Kenzo’s head and lifts him to his feet. He grabs Kenzo into a front facelock and runs off the turnbuckle pads… Tornado DDT! No! Kenzo counters… Release Northern Lights Suplex into the turnbuckle pads! Pugh’s in a world of hurt now as he collides with the corner pads after that vicious throw! Kenzo pulls Pugh back to his feet… TIGER SUPLEX! One, two, NO! Pugh kicks out with authority!
The fans applaud the effort of both men now as Kenzo plots his next move. He lifts Pugh and whips him into the corner… Kenzo attempts the Shining Wizard Omega, but Pugh moves out of the way, causing Kenzo’s knee to collide with the turnbuckle pad! Pugh grabs Kenzo and puts him on the top rope, slapping him in the face. He climbs the ropes himself, trying to superplex Katana from the position, but Kenzo blocks it and shoves Pugh off. Adam lands on his feet and runs at Kenzo, only to take a kick to the head. Pugh turns around, dazedly, and Kenzo grabs him… Reverse Tornado DDT! Kenzo makes the cover… BUT PUGH KICKS OUT!
Katana can’t believe the durability of Adam Pugh, and the determination of the Tragic Artist may be the one barrier that Kenzo Katana cannot overcome. He lifts Pugh and attempts a belly to belly suplex, but Pugh forces him off with a few forearm shots… Complete Shot! Pugh drives Kenzo’s head into the canvas. Adam wastes no time, lifting Kenzo to his feet… He lifts Kenzo for the After Shock, but Kenzo drives some knees into his skull! Pugh staggers into the corner, and Katana follows in… Machine Gun Chops! Katana unloads a series of rapid-fire chops to the chest of Pugh, winding him down! Katana whips Pugh off to the corner and charges… Shining Wizard Omega!
Katana grabs Pugh and sets him up for a brainbuster… but Pugh blocks… AFTER SHOCK! Pugh nails his finisher, but can’t capitalize! He finally makes the cover… One, two, NO! Katana kicks out, and Adam Pugh is in shock. Pugh gets to his feet, yelling at the referee that it was a three count! He throws Katana through the ropes to the outside floor, disgusted at what has transpired!
The referee checks through the ropes on Katana, when suddenly, Darius Falcon emerges from the crowd. He slides into the ring with a steel chair, and before Pugh can react, nails Adam in the back of the head with a chair shot! Falcon disappears quickly, hiding under the ring as the fans boo. The referee counts Katana out, getting to six before the World Champion rolls back inside the ring. Pugh is crawling on his hands and knees, and Katana is as well. Kenzo slowly gets to his feet, grabbing Pugh from behind… KATANA KLUTCH! KATANA KLUTCH! Kenzo wraps his legs around Pugh into a body scissors, holding him on the mat. Pugh can’t fight it and succumbs, losing his consciousness. The referee raises Pugh’s arm once… and it falls. He raises it again to the same effect. The referee raises Pugh’s arm a third time… and it falls limply to the canvas! Katana retains!
Winner: Kenzo Katana via Pass Out at 20:20
The fans boo as Katana tries to get to his feet, but Falcon slides inside the ring, nailing Kenzo over the head with a steel chair! Litter and debris are thrown into the ring now as KANSHI and Hart run to the ring, putting the boots to a bloodied Kenzo and Adam Pugh. Falcon gets on the microphone.
Darius Falcon:
You know, Kenzo, I tried to reason with you – I really did. I tried to f*cking let you figure this out on your own, but you’ve shown me we’ve got to do this the hard way.
KANSHI and Hart hold Kenzo down as Falcon drives the chair into his back a few times.
Darius Falcon:
I may be hated – I may be LOATHED by these PWW fans, but they won’t do a DAMN thing for you in this ring.
Suddenly, Brady Cruise runs out from the back, sliding into the ring. He jumps Falcon, tackling him to the canvas. The fans roar as Cruise unloads with shots to the head, but Hart quickly restrains him and KANSHI delivers a few kicks to Cruise before Hart nails a Tiger Suplex. Hart pulls up cruise and Falcon bashes the chair into his skull! The fans are outraged now.
Darius Falcon:
At least I have f*cking back up. WHERE’S YOUR ****ING BACK-UP?!
Right on cue, Lance Van Leer, head bandages and all, comes from the backstage, getting a large pop. He’s wielding a baseball bat, and heads to the ring, but The Awakening decides they’ve done enough damage for one night and bail. Lance swings at them as he enters the ring, but narrowly misses. Van Leer stares down the three men as the show closes…
OOC: Sorry for the drop in quality. A lot of people kept putting off their RPs, and there were ten matches to write. Fortunately, Dark Cadence wrote the Novak/Cavallo match. Hart/Frost isn’t finished. I don’t have time to finish it now, and I put it off intentionally due to the fact they were the last to RP for their match, and I figured if anyone should have their result be late it would be them. I will hopefully finish that match in the morning. I hope you enjoy this part of the results.

Adam wastes no time, lifting Kenzo to his feet… He lifts Kenzo for the After Shock, but Kenzo drives some knees into his skull!
