The Story:
Fire Emblem: The Gray Dawn
The world was born in chaos: an epic battle between two Goddesses, one of Light, and one of Darkness. They’re battle continues for a millennia, neither victorious over the other.
While this was going on, the children of the Earth (humans) were caught in the middle suffering major casualties during this time.
One day, a third Goddess emerged. She was in fact born a human with the power to seal away the Goddesses of Light and Darkness.
Now that the storm was over, the Gray Goddess (as she was called by the children of Earth) sealed herself away, fearing someone would try to use her power to do evil.
Humans flourished with the absence of the Goddesses, living in relative peace for more than one thousand years. Would this peace last? Only time would tell…
Five kingdoms arose. Trippy map here. (http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i119/relmitos/untitled-31.png)
First was the Babylon Empire. The first settlements of mankind turned into the greatest cities of commerce and trade. As time passed some settlements left to form a new kingdom.
The first was the northern ice nation of Europa, covering the entire northern seaboard. Next was the nation of Pyroce, covering the entire southern coastline. For nearly 400 years these nations enjoyed peace.
Unexpectedly there was a religious coup in Europa. The zealots sought to overthrow the king but were unsuccessful. But, instead of executing them the king saw fit to let them create their own kingdom, thus resulting in the nation of Ishzal.
Another coup of sorts happened in Pyroce. Several lords saw fit to take up arms against Babylon. However, there were many lords who remained loyal to Babylon. A civil war in Pyroce ensued, leaving the western half of the nation in chaos as the revolting lords splintered into their own factions. The western half of Pyroce is now known as Helji, a lawless, leaderless nation of bandits.
Europa then discovered an island nation off their western coast. The inhabitants had kept to themselves till now. Both were interesting in peace, and thusly good relations were established, allowing free trade.
The center of the continent is dominated by a desert wasteland, rejecting all life.
These nations lived in peace for another six centuries, only occasional bandit skirmishes on Pyrocian border.
A Pyrocian Lord is on patrol. The young lord arrives at a village close to the Pyroce-Helji border…

Physical Description: Click me (http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i119/relmitos/untitled-24.png)
Bio: Bort was the illegitimate child of a stunningly beautiful common woman named Sarah and a noble. Although he was never told the identity of his father before his mother’s death, Bort was never terribly interested in his identity. They lived together happily for 13 years, Sarah supporting the pair by working at a local inn. They lived a humble life, but were happy none the less. One evening, Sarah did not return. Concerned, Bort went to the inn to search for he mother. Upon arrival, Bort found a crowd around the inn. He broke through their ranks, only to see his mother’s bloody corpse on the doorstep. She had been murdered as she was leaving. Bort went to the local church and prayed for guidance. For some reason, Bort was unable to mourn for his mother. A Bishop took him in and taught him the arts of healing. At 15, Bort discovered an wounded mare while he was taking his morning walk through the forest outside of town. Using his newfound talents, Bort healed the animal and nursed it back to health. He named her Sarah. Bort wanders now, healing those who are in need of help, perhaps to try and ease his own wounded heart.
