I'm officially having the greatest fantasy week ever. Larry Johnson, Tony Gonzalez, Rex Grossman, and Ahman Green combined for 140 points, and two of my four defenders scored double digits. I still have 3 receivers and 3 defensive players, one of which is Merriman, who has 2 sacks already.
Colston had 39 points!
Hehe, Kris Brown missed a PAT.
I just realized that I forgot to start my only kicker. I guess I start my kicker from last week then, who is Akers...

Man... Wayne and Vick exploded this week. That should make up for the abysmal amount of points the rest of my team put up.

So did Marques Colston. Geez...
No one on my team had a stellar week. Oh well, it happens.

I hit 235 points... it's officially the greatest week ever.
Yue's rb's combined for 4 points, but two of his receivers combined for 90 points. I believe Reggie Wayne is the first player to go over 50 points. Him, LT, and LJ had incredible games.
Doom starts at least one receiver who is hurt EVERY WEEK :P.
Scores for my people:

Curious, how much did LT get me?

49 Tom. I'll have my people's points up in a bit.
Here are the scores up to this point. Pontus has yet to drop Arrington. In order of most points scored.
Pontus- 140 (Fred Smoot)
Freakish- 131 (Julius Jones, Jason Witten)
Gabby- 125 (TO, Chris Gamble, Doug Gabriel)
James89- 119 (Peppers, Chris Draft)
Velo- 119 (DONE)
Apu- 111 (Delhomme, Chester Taylor, Roy Williams)
Gabby is the luckiest person. I changed Justin Smith for Kerney, and Smith would have got me 20 pts (over Kerney's 7). Also, the worst possible play just happened for me. A TO catch and a Gamble tackle on the same play.

Used NFL.com and smash, you forgot to add Robbie Gould in there. And I don't care because I won and I know I won, but its helpful to know that the guy tallying my points isn't gonna **** up in simple math
QB:34
Bulger had 327 passing yards which is 13 points, plus 5 for over 300 = 18. He also threw for 2 TD's which is another 12, so 30. And then 4 points for completion percentage (67.5%, rounds up to 70 which is 4 points), so 34
RB: 39
Lundy had 116 rushing yards for 16 points (11+5 for over 100). He also had 5catches for 33 yards which is 8 points, so 24 for him
Jones had 92 rushing yards and a TD which is 15
WR: 36
Boldin had 4 catches for 44 yards = 8 points
Joe Horn had 5 catches for 126 yards and a TD. So thats 12 points for yards + 5 for over 100 + 5 for the catches + 6 for a TD = 28
TE: 20
Witten had 6 catches (6 points) for 80 yards (8 points) and a TD (6). So 20
DE: 11
Umenyiora didn't play but the Giants only gave up 3 points, so 5 for him
Castillo got 6 tackles for 6 points
LB: 15
Witherspoon had 12 tackles and his 5 point gain for having over 10 is negated by the Rams giving up 30 points
Jeremiah Trotter had 3 tackles, 3 points
DB: 15
Kerry Rhodes had 6 tackles for 6 points
Gibril Wilson had 4 tackles and he gets a bonus 5 cuz the Giants only gave up 3 points, which means he has 9
K: 14
Gould had 5 PATS (5), a 43 yard FG (5), and a 36 yarder (4)
Util:17
Bush:16 rushing yards (1) 4 catches (4) and he threw a pick, so that 2
Antonio Pierce gets the 5 for being on the Giants, 8 tackles for 8 points and a Forced Fumble for 2 more which comes out to 15
so using my handy-dandy calculator, 34+39+36+20+11+15+15+14+17 = 201.
And to show you were off before, if you take out Witten and Jones, thats 35 points, which means at your score report, I should have had 166

I can't believe I forgot to post my lineup this week. Sorry about that. I promise it won't happen again. But I think I may have lost this week...my guys weren't performing too good.
I won in my money league though:D. Goin up against Brady, I had a 6 point lead in the fourth quarter, and I started yellin at the TV when they KEPT PASSING with him when they had a 31-7 lead with 6 minutes left...what is that crap?
The Eye in the Sky!
October 31st, 2006, 07:34 AM
It's called making short passes to make yards because the Vikings have the best run D. They were still trying to give them respect in that they knew running would fail. You gotta make a team feel good about something after decimating them.

FINAL SCORES for my people:
smashbro14: 235
Zackman: 143

Dr. Doom: 144
Big Da- d'oh!: 139

After my absymal fantasy picking this week, I'm surprised I won. David Carr didn't do anything and my kicker wasn't even playing...
James89
November 1st, 2006, 01:09 AM
Im pretty sure we only round up when it is like 69.5, so Bulger would get 32. And, you never posted your kicker, so Gould's points dont count. Even with that, I was still off by 19 points, so I apologize for that. With Jones and Witten, I have your final score at 185. (-14 cause you never posted Gould, and -2 cause of Bulger) I could be wrong about Bulger. I'll have everyone's final scores up in a bit.
And Gabby, you are one lucky SOB.
In order of most points scored.
Freakish- 185
Gabby- 167
Pontus- 145
Apu- 125
Velo- 119
Jmaes89- 117
Im the low man for the first time ever.
