During Destiny is Fulfilled, the screen goes black. The fans in the audience scream no as do the countless viewers at home. Then, a light bulb goes on. It dangles back and forth on the chain, then when the light focuses, we see Adam Pugh sitting backwards in a chair and painting.

Adam Pugh
Another night, another masterpiece. Kenzo Katana, you are nothing more than a footnote on my path to greatness. You try to brush me off as just another Chipton, but in reality, I’m more like Michelangelo. My apathy while in the ring will bring about your demise, as well as my own. I care not for what I do to my body: if it means a victory in my name, then so be it. Self destruction comes to all artists in the end, look at Hemingway.

He stops, licks his thumb, squirts some more paint onto the palette, starts to paint again, and starts talking once more.

I am now the only underdog in this tournament. No one wants or expects me to win, but at the end of this night, my copasetic smile will prove that I won. Katana, you beat KANSHI, but I took out Stoors without breaking a sweat. Do you really want to step in the ring with me? Do you think you are immortal? Well, I made a dent in Rich’s armor, and I will find and exploit yours. Not a threat? NOT A THREAT?!?

At this point he picks up his chair and smashes it to the ground, sending wooden splinters everywhere. We see his new paints, light blue tie die at the top, but at the knees where it turns from tights to pants, it becomes dark pink tie die. He calms down and looks at the camera.

You claim that I am nothing more than a moderate concern, due to my belief that this barbaric sport is nothing more than art. But that is precisely what makes me the most dangerous man you will ever behold inside the ring. To be an artist means to give everything you got and more in your art. Katana, after I destroy you I will take down the rest of this tournament. My apathy in the ring will paint my destiny for future generations to see.

Pauses again, stares down the camera.

Just as art has no boundries, neither does Adam Pugh.

Adam stares at the camera, then reaches up and shuts off the light.

OOC: Tried a little harder to show he's a heel. As always, comments appreciated.

Wow, this was some of your best stuff yet. I'm glad you've found this character, as it's working really well for you... The grammar and spelling seem great, and the character development itself is astonishing. Awesome work.
