View Full Version : Civilised... or not? (1st promo for Destiny Fulfilled)

Destiny Fulfilled opens in its usual fashion on live television (if, in fact, it is aired and whatever the opening to the show maybe… could be a five minute porn show for all we know) and after all of this the screen shows something that happened earlier in the night.

A shot of the stadium is shown to the fans before fading into a corridor viewing a wall. This soon moves to the left and moves past a corner of the wall revealing a person standing in full wrestling attire looking at a poster of sorts on the wall. We move in for a closer shot of this person and slowly he begins to read off the poster.

???:
Number one, wrestlers must shake hands before and after every match. Well, how nicely civilised that is.

Number two, wrestlers must refrain from harming officials. Ahh, too true. So much of that going on in other places.

Number three, wrestlers must respect the referee's decision. They do not stand for any insubordination here; I must say I am impressed.

Number four, wrestlers cannot use weapons unless otherwise established. I rather like this wrestling promotion.

Well if you haven’t already guessed he is reading the commandments of PWW.

???:
Number five, wrestlers cannot have someone interfere on their behalf or interfere on someone else's behalf. Well I like myself a fair fight, so I whole heartedly agree with that statement.

Number six, cheating and shortcuts are not permitted and are heavily frowned upon. Law and order prevails I see.

Number seven, wrestlers are expected to show up when scheduled. True to a job, bad form to those whole fail to arrive on time.

Number eight, wrestlers must not cause intentional disqualifications. I say hang those no good people who do.

Number nine, leaving during a match is strictly prohibited. The cowards must face their destiny.

Number ten, sneak attacks are not allowed, and wrestlers will face serious consequences if they occur. Face-to-face combat is how it should always be done.

The man takes a step back and rubs his hands together as a big smile spreads across his face.

???:
Hmm, well I must say this wrestling promotion… is gonna kick some mother f*cking arse. Get ready PWW, Eric Smith is on the roster and he’s here to kick some booty.

Wow, civilised speech and then a complete u-turn into… not so civilised speech, interesting character. Eric turns and walks off down the corridor and starts to sing his entrance music (One of a Kind by Breaking Point btw  ) and does a really weird ass dance to it as well.

The screen, back at the Destiny Fulfilled arena, turns black once again as the show gets back to normal viewing.

OOC: I want comments, I’m about 80% sure this character will work, what are your thoughts? I wanted to get this done and posted before I actually write a promo for the match he has, get in-put and what not.

Good introduction for your babyface. I think you'll be able to pull him off.

Is he a jokester? Cause, um, he'd have to be joking to say "kick some booty".

That's why I thought he was a babyface because of the jokingly statements.

Yeah, was trying for a kinda half-straight talking, half-jokster type face... wasn't sure if it would work. But if that's what a babyface is then... I guess I'm doing it lol

*has no clue what a babyface is *

a babyface= face. I just used the term because it seems like the name you would give a lovable character. Kinda like... Crash Holly maybe.

No, no, Crash Holly is a comedy character, or was.

A babyface is someone like AJ Styles... or John Cena.
