Shortly after a promotional segment for next week’s event, we are taken to the backstage area, where a camera is standing outside a door. Nothing is on the door, however, behind the closed door, sounds can be heard. Loud banging sounds can be heard. The camera scrolls down to the bottom of the door, and smoke can be seen escaping the room. What is going on in there? The door opens, and the camera steps through. The door closes behind the camera. The camera goes into night vision mode as it walks through the dark room. It soon becomes evident that it was steam, not smoke, leaving the doorway, as water can be seen and heard falling from the sprinklers on the ceiling, as the banging sounds continue. Grunting can also be heard. It is hard to make out anything in the room, but eventually, a man with long blonde hair is seen. Upon closer examination, KANSHI is revealed. In front of KANSHI are large stone tablets, some sort of system holds them upright facing him, steady. Blood is seen dripping from his hands, fingers possibly broken, as he sends his fist hard into the stone. A grunt of pain is heard, but The Perfect Warrior merely shrugs it off.

KANSHI
I welcome the each of you back into my dark room. Welcome, as I give you a first hand account of the sort of training I put myself through. For those with weak stomachs, please turn away, for this is not for you. As you see, my hand is already pouring with blood. Do not worry, because my hand has been hardened by these conditions, I have trained myself to be able to take this kind of pain.

As if to back up his own claim, he sends another hand hard into a stone tablet.

KANSHI
Do you people not yet see what makes me better than you? This is what makes me a perfect warrior. I put myself through the conditions, you might not feel it, but it is very hot in here. The man holding this camera can barely stand it, I’m surprised he has yet to drop his camera and ran. I commend him for sticking through this, for never do you want to miss what I have to say. I don’t speak just to hear myself talk, every word that comes from my mouth has meaning. And tonight is no different.

Instead of sending his fist into a tablet, KANSHI puts his head into the stone tablet. Blood can be seen trickling down his face.

Last week, the people here in Philadelphia saw a true classic. As I, KANSHI, battled against Darius Falcon, the feeling that went through my body was nothing short of elation. We both went to our limits, and I commend him, for putting up such a battle, it was a spectacle indeed. After the match, you saw the formation of a pact. Myself, Darius, and Tyler Hart each set aside our competitive nature for a more personal gain. We each have the others back. At first I admit to my reluctance to join with Darius Falcon. I have been accustomed to working alone. However, after considering it, I realized that no harm could come from us working together. They both share similar ideals to my own, they value the warrior spirit just as I do. They are not weak-minded, weak-spirited individuals, like all the others in this arena. They are warriors, and they belong here.

KANSHI walks towards the door as he continues speaking

KANSHI
Now, you see, this leads me to this week. Here we are, at the event titled “War for the Title.” A tournament to ultimately decide who will be the first PWW Champion. And, tonight, I face a veteran, a warrior in his own right, Kenzo Katana. Earlier tonight, Kenzo said a few things about my decision to side with Darius Falcon and Tyler Hart. He believes it was a mistake, a sign of weakness. However, I believe it shows strength. Being a warrior is not only a challenge of the physical, but also a challenge for the mental.

KANSHI opens the door and leaves the room, walking towards his locker room.

KANSHI
You see, it took me setting aside my pride to join with Darius. Pride has always been a problem of mine, I’ve always prided myself on working alone, so setting aside my pride was indeed a hard thing to do. He complains about how PWW management screwed him out of something, but having allies in this business is a near necessity. Indeed, I could make it without the help of Falcon and Hart, but I’ve decided that it’d be easier to avoid all the political drama that happens behind close doors by having them by my side. They’re not allies, they’re insurance policies. I expect nothing more than great from Kenzo Katana tonight, as he is indeed a great competitor.

KANSHI is bandaging his head and fists to stem the blood flow.

KANSHI
However, he is not a perfect warrior, which makes the ending to our match already written. Kenzo, I wish for you to bring every bit of skill you have, for I want a match that can go down in history books. You say that I am setting the bar a bit to high for myself, however, this time I set the bar high for you. Bring everything, for, in the end, I want no excuses when my hand is raised.

KANSHI finished wrapping himself up, and begins to stretch, doing basic pre-match preparations for his match later in the show.

There were a lot of run-on sentences in this. I noticed a lot of improperly conjugated verbs, too.

Overall, the idea was really good. The application and execution could've been better, though.
