Week 5
The Purple $corpions vs. Hot Dice
Doom vs. Sexy Mother F’ers
The Velociraptors vs. Wildboyz
PICK A TEAM NAME ALREADY vs. The Troopers
The Smashbr-Owners vs. Freakish
The Laughing Mules vs. The Hard Hittaz

Byes: Atlanta, Cincinnati, Seattle, Houston

Jesus, I wont have Kerney, Justin Smith, Rudi Johnson, or Chad Johnson, and McNabb plays the Cowboys. I dont think im winning this week.

I just looked at the points for everyone. Velo has the 3rd most points (2 behind Tom, lots behind me) and is 1-3. BD has scored the least amount of points, and is 3-1. Talk about matchups.

That's four Bills...and not so worthless. Angelo Crowell leads the team in tackles, but I chose not to play him this week because of public complaint. (Smashbro in particular)

Also, not being able to have a say in the draft doesn't help much. It's nobody's fault, it's just my excuse for doing so bad.

October 7th, 2006, 01:26 PM
DL: Angelo Crowell (BUF) he's a linebacker, why is he here Smashbro?
I knew he was a linebacker when I edited the rosters, I just wasn't thinking. There are too many worthless Bills on your team :P. But yeah, you'll have to edit change your starting DL's, and LB's if you want to.

he was written as having -2 pts... he also had 27 return yards... do we count those?

smashbro14

... then he had 3 tackles. I just assumed it was (-1).

And no, we don't count return yards . Look at the point chart.

Stop complaining. You won, and everybody has players who get them negative points. It's not uncommon.

Im going with McNabb over Alex Smith. McNabb wants more than revenge against TO, he wants to finally get a win against an NFC East opponent. They have lost 7 straight to the NFC East.

Yue, you forgot your defensive utility.

And Doom, if he returned it for a TD, you would add 6, so he would have 5.

XZ, you have about an hour left to get your line up in, otherwise, we will use your line up from last week.

smashbro14
October 8th, 2006, 12:00 PM
Well Yue's defensive utility last week, Jermaine Philips, is in his starting lineup this week. I was going to make his defensive utility the highest drafted player that he played last week, but none of the three he started last week were drafted by him. I'll talk to James and we'll figure out what to do. It will either be DeMeco Ryans, Bryan Robinson, or Madieu Williams.

XZ's roster is officially the same as last week:

QB
Jake Delhomme - CAR

RB
Chester Taylor - MIN
Clinton Portis - WAS

WR
Chris Chambers - MIA
Keenan Mccardell - SDG

Bubba Franks - GB

I don't have anybody available for D utility and I didn't want to drop anybody on my team so... I go w/o this week.

What really made my day was when Colston did nothing and Moss caught a TD.

October 8th, 2006, 06:47 PM
Hehe, Yue had 3 players who did nothing, two of which had a bye. And yeah, I didn't notice that all three of the cantidates that I mentioned earlier had byes.

Hehe, Ryan Longwell.

Okay... XZ we are counting the roster you posted because every player that would have been different wasn't playing at the time.

I'm going to be 1-4 :(.

Wow... Al Wilson scored 30 points last night.

For my people, this was an extremely low scoring week. Tom, of all people, led my 6 with 150 points, and only 7 players broke 20 points.

Dr. Doom - 135 (Hehe, Ryan Longwell again)
The Eye in the Sky! - 150 (Ew)
Big Da- d'oh! - 149 (1 less than Tom!)

According to this, London Fletcher made 13 tackles this Sunday. So that makes 18 points (1 point per tackle; +5 per 10 tackles) Then his final score should be 13 points. (involved in a game allowing more than 30 points) I know it won't change my standing, but I feel London Fletcher deserves his points. Smashbro...

This is the source that James and I use. (http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/gamebook/NFL_20061008_BUF@CHI)

It says that he had 9 tackles, and as you know, he got -5 for the 30 point game. The Bills website might have given him tackles that NFL.com didn't, but we will always go with NFL.com so that everybody has the same reference. Obviously, the tackler on a play isn't always clear. For example, a couple weeks ago, Gamecenter said that Leonard Little, my DL, had a sack, but the gamebook said he didn't, so I went with the gamebook. Sorry.

James89
October 11th, 2006, 08:32 PM
Velo, that sound like the Lions of this year. They lose 9-6 in the opener, and they lost 41-38 or something like that 2 weeks ago. Im not sure if smash posted the Week 6 thread yet. If he didnt, it will be up in a few minutes.

And I never thought I would be 5-0.
