The competitors will receive points according to their placement in each round.
10 points for 1st, 7 for 2nd, 4 for 3rd, 2 for 4th and 1 for 5th.

Description:
Make an image that indicates a thread split, fit for use in GWIT. (#EEEECC as background color can be handy here).

Scott's was just awesome, plain and simple, loved it as soon as I saw it. Volant's didn't really seem like a thread split kind of... picture. aceman's was really hard to read the word split, even now I can't tell what's part of the P, L ,I, T and what isn't. CounterBlow, nice idea, just... didn't like it. Not for a thread split really. I liked Lacoste's, but again, not really a thread split pic, not something I'd like to see everytime the thread is split really, still preferred it over others though. Don't think there's anything to comment on with Dyno's entry, it's simple, nothing wrong with it, just that it didn't match up the Scott's lol ^^

I liked Scotts and Aceman's but Scott just seemed more usable. So I voted for that. In close second place was Aceman.

Mainly because it is different from the rest but it is close between Lacoste and Scott. Great work all around though.

IMO, Scott's entry is the only one that is above decent this round... and that kinda describes the way how unpopular this constest has become...

I voted for Lacoste's, even if the wording is kinda weird. :)

It's not as if it's unpopular, it's that the majority of the GWIT members can't be f*cked to actually do something and enter.

Maybe we need a mass clean-up of the member list...

The last few themes have been rather boring though.

But yeah, it wouldn't hurt to clean up the member list a bit.

They can't really complain about that though; they're the ones who chose the damned themes, we just came up with the rules for them.

I didn't choose half of the themes, it seems the one I thought sucked badly got chosen and... have sucked badly lol. I am wise, follow my words!

Yeah, I would make entries, but I quit the GWIT as a member and I really cba to make anything right now either. lol

But yeah, I thought Lacoste's wording was a bit weird too. Something about just seems wrong when you say it.

yeah i'm not english... didn't realize at all it was weird :-\
I remember someone at GW once said that sentence (or maybe my imagination has gone loose)

A lot of members didn't show up for a while like archangel(i liked his designs... wonder why he doesn't show up no more...), buchanan(can't blame him for that though, he does have an exuse), and some people only posted a couple of times, like ashlee.
So it would be a good idea to clean up the list, but i wouldn't hurt if more people would join either...

No, not impatient at all. :P

I'm not at home now, so I don't have the notpad document with all the theme descriptions and restrictions and stuff here with me...
I'll see if I can remember what we had decided for next round after I've got myself a new toothbrush.
