Yue, Sonic, XZ, and Pontus still have to post their starters...
Also, I never mentioned this before, but Michael Vick was the offensive player of the week and Keith Bulluck was the defensive player of the week.
On a side note, BD is going to... lose!
James89
September 15th, 2006, 06:56 PM
Had the 49ers won, Frank Gore probably wouldve been offensive player of the week. Michael Vick? Considering his stat line, it was a low week for offense in week 1.

... I'm talking about players of the week for this league, not in real life. Vick scored 35 points and no other starters really came close. Silly James.

How about Rashean Mathis?
3 Tackles and 2 INTs.
9 points from a DB, pretty good.

I am so glad I picked up L.J. Smith in the draft... he's probably my favorite tight end anyway, and very underrated.
Dr. Doom
September 18th, 2006, 10:37 PM
Julius Peppers: 8 tackles, 3 sacks, and a blocked kick
James89
September 18th, 2006, 10:41 PM
Underrated, but not good enough this week Velo. And gabby, we count assited tackles too, plus the 5 point bonus fora shut out, give mathis 15 points. Here are the final scores from week 2.
James89 (201) vs Velo (178)
Freakish (134) vs Pontus (217)
XZ (123) vs Doom (132)
Gabby (117) vs Sonic (146)
smash (147) vs BD (177)
Tom (176) vs yue (167)
Smash will post the individual stats/points form every player in the standings thread tomorrow. And, I will start putting the stats and points instead of just the points starting next week. Post in here until you see the week 3 thread, which will be in about 10 minutes.

Julius Peppers: 8 tackles, 3 sacks, and a blocked kick
Now that's just scary.
Well Ray Lewis and Kirk Morrison both had INT too...that's one good intercepting defense for the HARD HITTAZ. I seem to be lacking sacks though....if only INTs were worth a lot more.
James89
September 18th, 2006, 10:42 PM
And yea Doom, Peppers was beastly. Never ever ever ever will I bench him again. Thats 21 pts, from a DL!!
Gabby Jay
September 18th, 2006, 10:42 PM
EDIT: Damn, despite that AWESOME performance, I still lost. And low score of the week too OWCH! 0-2 not a good start. I may have to start making trades here...
