Yeah, it was over already. Boo!

Anyway, I need a new opponent.

I'll fight ya, I haven't done one in awhile, so I need to basically create a character, but it makes it even more fun. You choose the numbers, and can go first if you like, I have absolutely no preference.

I warn you though, I'm very rusty.

I guess we'll do 1-2-1, and you can go first, whenever you've created a character.

Wow, it feels really weird to be writing these again. I apologize if my character doesn't fit in exactly with what the "theme" is supposed to be, or if this is just a generic RPB, but I'll try to keep him as vague as possible to allow your character to fit in whatever way you see fit.

The sky grew darker with each passing minute, the sun drawing its last breaths as it fell slowly behind the horizon line. The sky burned a bright crimson and gold as the fiery orb dropped behind the hills while the moon floated calmly in the blue-black sky.

Down amongst the hills a warrior known only as Valient stood shrouded in his own cloak, its darkness shrouding his battle-honed physique. The moonlight lightly shined down upon the left side of his face, illuminated his stoic features. He reached up with his hands and drew back the folds of his hood from his face, revealing his youthful experience. His black hair was cut a medium length, blowing softly in the light breeze. His hazel eyes bored deep into the distance, watching the horizion for any signs of movement. He breathed in deep as the wind rushed up against his face, and memories came flooding back into his mind. Gazing around, Valient found a tree and sat beneath it, resting his head against its trunk. He couldn't understand why things had gone so poorly, why he was in those desolate hills. He could only hope that it wouldn't end like he knew it would have to.

The wind continued to blow over the grass and through the scattered trees, rustling the leaves and disturbing the peace. Birds could be heard off in the distance, quietly communicating with each other in the night. Tired of sitting, Valient stood up and then resignedly leaned against the very same tree. As he put his back to the tree, his flowing cloak moved back with the wind to reveal the two identical swords belted to his hip. Their black blades were hidden by the sheathes, their wicked edges veiled by the leather that covered them. His armor, too, reflected the moonlight, its dark surface molded to the shape of Valient's chest.

He continued to stare off into the distance, his mind slipping from his surroundings, his hands unconsciously dropping to the hilts of his swords. Standing there in a dream-like state, he wandered his own mind, searching his own heart, wondering.

Suddenly, he was shaken back to reality as he heard footsteps behind him. He didn't need to turn around to know who it was, but his hands subtley gripped both of his blades, but didn't remove them from their sheaths.

Wow, I think I've been outta this way too long. I was never that good at intros, but hey, this is what practice is for right?

I had such back writer's block the entire time I was trying to write this. Me <--- :bashhead:

Dan sat alone in the darkness of the night, up in the hills, above all the towns below. He looked at the moonlit buildings, the people walking around with torches. He wished that one day he would be able to have his own life, that he would be able to live as all the others had. However, they all knew his face, they knew he was trouble. And, the people knew, that his capture would pay them a pretty penny. Dan turned his back to the small town, gathered a few sticks from the ground, and rubbed them together to start a fire.

Dan's fire began to burn wildly. Looking down into the flames, through the flames, he thought of the things he had done in the past. He thought of the items he had stolen, and the men he had killed. A few embers shot up toward his face, and he scooted back, sitting down on his bottom. Dan looked out over the hills, and noticed a man, sitting down in front of a tree. He put out his fire, in fear of being noticed, and layed down on the ground to hide.

Dan began to crawl slowly, rising up the hill, toward the tree. He thought in his head that this man would have something, anything he could sell for a good profit. It had also been a while since he had the sensational feeling he got from killing a man. Dan had come close to this tree now, and decided to rise to his feet. He reached behind him, pulled out his sword, and got ready for a sneaky attack. He took a step forward, and after hearing it, he knew the man sitting before him had heard his feet. Dan began to walk a little faster, but now, he saw the man reaching for something.

Okay, let the battle begin.

Valient made no sudden moves, his body still leaning against the tree. Underneath his armor, though, his muscles were tensed, the grip on his swords increasing. He didn't know who the stranger was, but he distinctly heard the sound of metal being unsheathed, and footsteps cautiously moving through the brush. From the corner of his eye he could see a silhouette against the faint moonlight, sword poised, ready to strike him down.

As the stranger moved closer and closer, Valient still made no move to indicate he was aware of the intruder's presence. Regardless, he knew the man had his weapon raised, ready to strike. In the blink of an eye, the shadowed man's sword came flying at Valient's shoulder, but before Dan knew it, his target had slipped away in a diving roll.

Turning to face Dan, Valient now had both of his ebon blades drawn and hanging calmly at his sides. Their wicked edges gleamed in the moonlight, their rigid blades promising nothing more than pain. As Dan recovered from the powerful swing, Valient watched his every movement, raising his swords slightly, preparing himself for the oncoming battle.

Dan charged in again with his sword raised, his arms surging, and his eyes honed on his target. With one deft parry, Valient lifted both of his swords into a cross and caught Dan's powerful blow inbetween his blades. He let his arms give slightly, allowing his adversary's face to come within inches of his own. Valient smiled as he caught a glimpse of the other fighter's face, he instantly recognized him. He knew that wanted man's face, he had seen it all over the town below the hillside.

"Come to rob me eh, Dan?" said Valient wryly.

Without a response, Dan shifted his weight to remove his sword from the tangle of black steel. He charged again fiercely, his blade waving wickedly in front of him. Every time he attacked, however, the biting ring of metal shrieked into the night, sparks flying into the dusk.

Valient kept on the defensive, observing Dan and the way he fought, watching and waiting to make his move and fight back. Without warning, Valient suddenly lunged forward, his left blade taking Dan's sword up high, the other diving at his opponent's stomach. Seeing the attack, Dan attempted to dive to the side but still caught the razor-like edge of the sword in Valient's right hand.

Both combatant's backed away from each other, Valient smiling while Dan looked to his hip. This time Valient charged in, blades held forward while Dan waited for the oncoming attack.

My apologies if your fighting style wasn't what I put it up to be in this fight, though I tried to be as vague as possible. Sorry I took so long, I was getting ready for a road trip, but it seems to have fallen through so my other posts should come faster.
