Yeah, since I did this for Betrayal. I'll put one out for Bloodlines too.

Good book, I liked the Boba part, was cool and all. I liked all the family, and death thoughts. The way he got close to Mirta was cool too.

Jacen turning Sith seemed so cool for awhile. I was starting to like him more and more. I liked how he had the GAG, and how him and Ben seemed like they were gonna be the new Sith. Then he went and killed Ailyn, and Ben saw that, and it was just like, woah Jacen, what happened?

Ben maturing so much is kind of cool. The fact that he is getting his own name is cool.

Jaina being kicked off Rouge Squadron by Jacen no less isn't among my favorite things in this book.

And the death of Thracken, that was overdue, he shouldn't have made it through the NJO.

Oh, and Mirta being Fetts granddaughter and being trained by Ailyn to bring him to her to be killed, didn't really see that coming. Cool, and the fact that hes dying and needs her to help find what can be his last link to life too.

Yeah, I never figured out who decided that Thracken made a great villain... I've never liked him and I've never loved to hate him... I've just hated him.

Jacen's transformation seems a bit quick... book two and he's already head-first decided to go dark side? It just seems like the non-questioning decision to go forward with the dark side is just far too unlike Jacen to really be feasible. And at the end how he's like, "Yeah, I guess I just gotta go kill my daughter." It seems like that would be the part that he would be looking back on his decisions

The Boba story was flawless. I loved every single moment of it. This is Karen Traviss' best Star Wars book yet... I know from her blog and threads on StarWars.com that her heart is in Republic Commando books, but she really needs to stick with the Legacy era and never look back--she writes the Solos better than most authors, too. I assume that Boba won't appear again in any major way until Sacrifice (her next book in the series) so I'm most looking forward to that gem.

I just re-read and theres another Han shooting first moment.

Boba said something along the lines of "You need to learn to shoot first Solo."
