Heya, I have to leave for bed. Thought I'd post this: You owe me for that egg thing... :^: Now, don't post here, just wait for me to edit in the update when I do it tomorrow ^_^
Whatever, EDIT:
Tropius rattles its wings and a furry attack of razor leaves strike the dazed Flaafy, knocking it out.
Girl: Aww.. well... That was.. er.. fun.. My name is Sandra. Here, you deserve this. So um... let's hit the pokemon center, you wiped out my pokemon! I have one other but... well, you'll see it in action later. What should we do after we go to center??
Level up Tropius + 200
Sandra
Pokemon: Flaafy Lvl 11 Female -- Cubone Lvl 9 Male -- Shellder Lvl 9 Male
~~~
I'll let you pick their abilities since I'm making you look up their moves.
Gah! So much editing, it's not like I have four new pokemon to put in there...screw it, I'll do it later. And pick their abilities later.
~~~
Gecko: Don't sell yourself ahort Sandra, my Tropius is pretty beat as well. Let's go heal!
Sandra: Yay!
*healing happpens*
Gecko: So, now what? I think I could use some training....
Sandra: Not a bad idea. Let's head out towards Violet City and look for pokemon on the way.
*leaving town happens*
Gecko: I think I'll take off for a little bit. I want to get some solo-training done. I'll meet you *points* on top of that cliff a little bit after the su sets. Think you'll be okay until then.
Sandra: Of course I will. I can take care of myself, thank you very much.
Gecko: Hah, I know, I'm just joking around. Well, see you in a bit.
Sandra: Hmmph. Fine then. I'll go catch a new pokemon for myself.
~~~
See what I did there? Now I'm training as Sandra! And also I stole your whole "bold the name of people who talk" gimmick.
Gecko walks off on a sandy road left of some tall grass. He dissappears over the hill and Sandra decides that it's time to get moving. She takes the path to the right-- tall grass and plenty of it.
After awile of searching nothing seems to be showing up. In the distance she hears a man yelling, he sounds distraught!
At the same moment a pokemon creeps out of the wilderness next to her. It's small and greenish, and you're surprised to see a pokemon of its species out in the day time...
Oh no! DILEMMA! Help the man who sounds like the situation is getting worse? Or catch this mysterious pokemon?
Alice!
May 12th, 2006, 04:45 PM
Sandra: All right. Moral dillema. Lesse.... Screw it! This pokemon'd be cool, but it sounds like someone's coming. I'm coming dude! *turns to pokemon* You wouldn't mind waiting here for a moment, would you?
Sandra then turns and runs at top speed towards the yelling guy.
~~~
I suppose you missed that, I want to do this training but as Sandra. Which is why she's doing things. I'm going to pretend that all person references in your post are transposed.

The spinarak blinks at Sandra and refuses her request, hissing and disappearing into the darkness of the woods.
Sandra takes off through the grass, tall stalks nicking her legs as he runs.
Sandra: I'm coming!!
Sandra stops short of a small house and peers through a window at what looks like a burglary.
Burglar: Hey man- just forget I was hear or you're gunna get it. I'll come back for you if you say anything!
Man: But that's my egg!
Burglar: Shut up. It's not just any egg, its a dragon egg, and everyone knows dragons are worth big bucks. Now outta my way!
The Burglar strikes the man across the face with his fist and a loud "Ooof!" is heard, followed by stumbling. Sandra hears a door open and foot steps drawing closer. The Burglar appears from behind the corner of the house and he is running straight at you!
Burglar: Outta my way you lil brat or you're gunna get it!
Stop him?
Let him pass?
Battle him?
Alice!

Jusso you know, Gecko is training his Tropius, and thus, shouldn't come back with a new pokemon.
~~~
Sandra: You wish. I'm quite a bit more noble than that. You're not getting away that easily. Just try to get past this. Go Flaffy! If he tries to make a break for it, hit 'im with Thundershock.
RipTide
May 13th, 2006, 08:42 AM
Burglar: You think I'm going to let myself get shocked? HA! I'll destroy that lil' puff of electricity. Go, Grimer! (Male, level 13.)
~~~
Hey, have you gone to Mr. Pokemon yet?
Alice!
May 13th, 2006, 11:50 AM
Ermmh, no. I forgot he existed.
~~~
Sandra: Eew. That things nasty. Flaffy, take it out quickly. Use Leer, the hit it with a Thundershock. Don't get too close though, keep your distance from its poison attacks.
May 15th, 2006, 01:51 PM
Flaffy flashes its bulb-like tail and charges at Grimer. The sheep leers and momentarily stuns Grimer. As Flaffy unleashes thunderbolt, Grimer hardens and tacks minimal damage as its thick, gooey outter layer absorbs most of the blow. Grimer unleashes a sludge attack and Flaffy narrowly dodges, taking the brunt of the attack in its rear foot.
Alice!
May 16th, 2006, 03:06 PM
Sandra: Uggh! This thing's so gross. Flaffy, if it keeps Hardening you're not going to be able to do a lot of damage. Run up while using Leer, and use Thunderbolt while tackling it hard. You can do it!
RipTide
May 16th, 2006, 03:20 PM
Flaaffy runs in at Grimer and leers straight into its eyes. Flaaffy tries to tackle but grimers Stench ability keeps it at a distance. Flaaffy can't get close enough for a tackle!! Flaaffy takes your other command and strikes Grimer hard with thundershock for great damage.
Grimer regains composure and hardens again, stopping the electrical attack. It seemingly dissolves into a puddle of goo and moves toward Flaaffy, it turns back into its full body and strikes Flaaffy with a surprise pound! Flaaffy lets out a small spark of electricity in fear and the spark flies into Grimers mouth, doing better damage than the thunderbolt did! In your surprised state you forget to call out to FLaaffy and it ends up taking a face full of sludge, obscuring its sight.
Weird...harden must not protect its mouth....
Alice!
May 16th, 2006, 09:29 PM
Whatev'. One Electric move is as good as the other.
~~~
Sandra: Uggh. That thing is incredibly nasty. Just worry about keeping your distance Flaffy! Use repeated Thundershocks to force it to Harden, then shoot a bolt straight through it's mouth and down to its gut. I'd bet that it isn't hardening its stomach as well as its skin gooey out layer!

May 17th, 2006, 06:27 PM
Flaaffy's combo works wonders and Grimer starts to screech in pain. It looks like its about to implode when suddenly a massive cloud of purple gas erupts from its mouth and shrouds Flaaffy! Flaaffy manages to find its way out, but its face looks flushes and sickly. Uh oh... Flaaffy has been poisoned!
Alice!
May 18th, 2006, 09:18 AM
Sandra: That thing just gets more and more disgusting, Flaffy, here's Antidote, you should feel a bit better now. Use Thundershocks to force a Harden again, then attack its mouth again. If it starts to freak out like it did beofe, just run away. Avoid its attacks no matter what!

May 18th, 2006, 03:29 PM
Flaaffy strikes Grimer hard with thundershock and it starts to harden. Flaaffy aims at its mouth now but Grimer has wisened up and closes its mouth. Flaaffy ends the thundershock and starts dodging an onslaught of sludge attacks. Suddenly Grimer starts to convulse again and the thick cloud starts pouring out of its mouth once more, but Flaaffy won't let it. Flaaffy uses thundershock and causes an explosion as the electricity and gas meet!
Flaaffy remains unharmed, but Grimer was blown away by the blast. It recollects itself but it looks nearly KO'd.
FINISH GRIMER!

Flaaffy shocks him with thundershock and he drops the dragon egg. Sandra grabs it and gets out of the Burglars reach. Flaaffy stands in front of her, threatening the burglar with bolts of electricity.
Burglar:ARGH! Fine! Whatver, I bet its a crappy pokemon anyways!
He turns and runs, and suddenly a man appears from the house, holding his head.
Mr.Pokemon: Well hello, thank you so very much for saving my dragon egg.
Suddenly the egg starts rattling in Sandra's arms. With a popping noise and a sudden poof of cottin, a Swablu comes bursting out of the egg.
Mr. Pokemon: For saving me... erm.. what's your name?
Sandra: Sandra, sir.
Mr. Pokemon: Ah, Sandra. Wll thank you for your kindness Sandra. I'd like you to keep that Swablu. I bred it specially so it could learn a special move.

Without a moments notice a trio of Bellsprout, and two Weepinbell appear. Then a high pitched screech rang out and a Victreebell came tumbling out of the tree tops.
Sandra: Oh my god.
Sandra realizes the danger of a wild victreebell and starts backing away slowly. She hears an "oof" and turns to find Gecko standing right behind her.
Gecko:I can't find Violet City anywh- woah. That's a Victreebell!
The two friends keep backing up and make a run for it. As they run razor leaves go whizzing by. Suddenly they break through a wall of forestage and find themselves on the edge of Violet City!

Sandra: Oh right, Faulkner.... I'm not really at gym leader fight caliber right now. I'd just be in your way....
Gecko: Oh come on, you're not bad, you just need some training. Tell you what, let' go to the center, and then I'll fight Faulkner while you go train. Maybe even catch yourself a new pokemon!
Sandra: All right.
Going to the center happens. Healing happens. Splitting up happens.

The final thunderbolt hurrdled across the gym and struck Skarmory square in the chest as Faulkner cried out in horror. The magnificent bird took the attack full on, and fell to the ground, completely defeated.
Level Up +1 For Gastly (for effort...) and Level Up +2 For Dratini
The judge raised his flags, and signaled the end of the battle.
Judge: That's it! Skarmory is unable to battle. The win goes to challenger, Gecko!
Faulkner: I...how? What? I don't believe it. You battled spectacularly! Congratulations, Gecko. You deserve this.
Zephyr Badge Obtained!
Faulkner: The way you battle... its miraculous. You care so much for your pokemon... I- I haven't seen someone look at a Skarmory like that since the day I found my own. I think I have something for you that you will like...
...

...
*he returns*
Faulkner: Here, take this.
*He hands you a pokeball with the Zephyr symbol engraved into it*
Faulkner: A long while back my Skarmory, right after I obtained it, brought home an egg, obviously one of his own. I followed him and found a massive nest, his former home. I found pieces of scrap metal on the ground, and part of a beak. His mate had been killed by some kind of pokemon... So, I took the egg, and I raised it. It hatched into a baby Skarmory and I've trained with it since. But it needs a new trainer. It needs to go on a journey and see the world. Please, Gecko, take this pokemon in memory of our battle today.
Skarmory Obtained! Male- Level 8

Gecko: Well then, now that I've got a Skarmory of my own, I don't need a bird-type. I think I'll give Swablu to Sandra. It'll save her the time and bother of leveling hers up. Speaking of which...I wonder how she did with her training. I bet she caught something new and exciting!

You explain the battle and tell her about the pokemon you gained. You offer the Swablu, and she is overwhelmed.

Sandra: Wow! That's pretty crazy. And while we're at the center, I think I'll send your Swablu off instead of mine. I appreciate the thought, but I don't need your help with this. I'm gonna train the Swablu I earned into an Altaria!

The building looks ancient, but well kept, with statues of Bellsprout in various places. On the sides of the building are massive gardens in which hundreds of Bellsprout supposedly live.
You approach the door and a Monk stares at you suspiciously.
Monk: What's your business here? Are you touring the building or entering the gardens?
Alice!
July 13th, 2006, 09:54 PM

You may enter, but do not be scared if your passage is empty. My monk brothers have all met on the top floor today...
Sandra: Bye Gecko!

You start climbing and soon reach the top floor, you peer through a door and see a gathering of monks. You lean closer to hear what's happening but you lose footing and stumble in.
The monks gasp and the eldest readies a pokeball.

Muurrr. I was hoping this wouldn't end before Jeffie was able to update again. He's right outside the door right now, listening to the fight....
~~~
Gecko: Nincada, don't waste any time! Blast Bellsprout with Silver Wind as quickly as you can before it's able to attack you again. Just get the first attack! You should be able to knock it out in one more hit!
RipTide
Do what? He listening to a fight?
~~~~
Bellsprout is just too fast and its vines come out first, but Nincada's heart is in this battle just too much to loose. The bug barrel rolls to the right, dodging the vinewhip, and unleashes a wall of silver wind, KOing Bellsprout on contact.
Level up +1 for Nincada!
Eldest Monk: Incredible. You are truly talented. I can see the loving relationship between you and your pokemon. You have passed my test. For that, please take these gifts...
HM: Flash + $250 Obtained!
Eldest Monk: And also, as a symbol of the grass type, take this.
Miracle Seed Obtained!
Eldest Monk: Goodbye, young trainer. I hope to see you again.

He's been standing outside the door. I decided that the two of us happen to be in the same dimension.
~~~
Gecko: Thank you very much monk, you also have an obvious connection with your pokemon. It was truly an honor to be able to fight you.
Gecko smiles slightly and walks towards a large window in the room.
Gecko: Now then, I must be off.
Gecko then jumps out of the window, stunning the assembly of monks. The eldest monk looks out the window and see a burst of red light come from Gecko's body. His Skarmory appears beneath him and the two take off in a controlled flight down to the gardens.
Eldest Monk: That young man...he has such a bond with his pokemon. I think he could easily become the new champion.
~~~
So yeah...I'mma fly down to the gardens and check up on Sandra.

Haha, I just read Jeffie's thing. Now I get it :P I thoght you meant in the real world that you had Jeffie waiting outside your door... BTW, nice using almost identical posts about the monk, the gardens, and entering the Tower in Jeffie's dex ^___^
~~~
You soar down triumphantly and find Sandra walking out of the gardens.
Sandra: Heya Gecko! Looky! I trained my shellder and gained a level! Then a monk saw my Bayleef and gave me a miracle seed for it to have. Isn't that awesome??
You two chat for awhile and then decide where to go.
Thanks. Plagiarism is fun. :^:
~~~
Gecko: Well, there's one more place of interest here that I'd like to check out.
Sandra: Really? What is it?
Gecko: There's supposedly a famous pokemon school somewhere in town, run by Earl. Appropriately enough, it's called Earl's Pokemon Academy. I say we check it out and see if we can't learn something.
Sandra: Sounds good to me, let's go check it out.
RipTide
July 24th, 2006, 04:56 PM
The two of you head down the main street and soon find yourself standing outside the famous Pokemon School. You knock on the door, but no one answers. You jiggle the handle and find the door to be locked and then Sandra notices a broken window.
Sandra: This doesn't look good.
Investigate?
Forget about it and leave?
Alice!

Gecko: No it doesn't. Gastly, check this out. Make yourself invisible, then float through the walls and see what's going on.

Gastly disappears before your eyes and then returns within moments. Suddenly an illusion appears before you, Gastly is showing you what the inside looks like!
Sandra: Wow, the school got trashed!
Gastly all of a sudden sticks out its tounge and gives you something...
Note Obtained!
You open the note and see that Earl wrote it moments before his obvious kidnapping.
"Whoever finds this, please help me! Men in black suits have come for me and I'm afraid of what's going to happen. They where red R's on the front of their shirts and I heard that they were going to do something at the Ruins of Alph. If they get me, and someone finds this note, please look for me!"
Do what?
Alice!
July 24th, 2006, 05:52 PM
Gecko: The Ruins of Alph. Perfect. That's where I was planning on going next. I just need to make a quick stop at the mart.
Moments later, after the purchasing of some items....
Gecko: All right, let's get going. Skarmory, I choose you!
Gecko and Sandra board the bird.
Gecko: All right Skarmory, let's head to the Ruins of Alph. Take off and follow the path below so we don't get lost. And fly quickly, time is of the essence. Sandra, you better hold onto something.
As Skarmory takes off into the sky, Sandra instinctively wraps her arms around Gecko's waist. He blushes slightly as the two head off towards their next adventure at the mysterious Ruins of Alph.

After a while of flying you soon see the ruins and Skarmory dives down, landing softly. The two of you stare at eachother, confused as what to do now...
There are some people going into the ruins, there are sure to be scientists in the building close by, and maybe there are some guards there too.
Do what?
Alice!
July 24th, 2006, 07:22 PM
Gecko: Sandra, you go check out that building and see what you can find out, but don't mention Earl. If we do this covertly, the men who captured him will be less likely to know we're on to them.
Sandra: Right. So I suppose you'll....
Gecko: Sneak into the ruins? Of course. I'll look around for a different way in.

Sandra walks off and you turn to the only cave entrance you can find. You enter, and find a weird puzzle...
Intrigued by the game, you decide to play. Within minutes you are finished.
Gecko: HA! Easy. It's a puzzle of a Ho-Oh it looks like.
Suddenly the ground quakes and you tumble into a dark cave... fire suddenly bursts on the cave walls and you see torches lighting themselves up. Creepy...
Without a moments notice a swarm of odd shaped black pokemon surround you, humming in a strange tone.
Do what?!
Alice!
July 24th, 2006, 09:10 PM
Gecko: Woah! Easy there guys, I'm not there to hurt you. Gastly, how about translating for me? "I'm very sorry for intruding, but have you seen any men in black suits with red Rs on their chests around here?"

July 24th, 2006, 09:18 PM
Gastly appears before you and starts chattering with the Unown. They all giggle and shoo Gastly away, obviously telling him they don't need a translator. The uknown start whizzing around and start spelling words with their bodies!
Unowns: T-E-A-M-R-O-C-K-E-T-N-O-G-O-O-D
Unowns: T-W-O-T-A-K-E-M-A-N-D-E-E-P-I-N-T-O-C-A-V-E
Unowns: I-F-F-I-N-D-L-A-D-D-E-R-Y-O-U-F-I-N-D-M-A-N
Gecko: Hm... interesting. Guess I need to search for a ladder. It must lead to them!
Unown: G-O-O-D-L-U-C-K-T-R-A-I-N-E-R
You start heading down the tunnel and look back to find the Unknown giggling and watching you. They write one last message and fly off into the darkness.

You leave the cave and find Sandra sitting on a bench watching a hoppip fluttering by in the wind.
Sandra: So what did you find out?
Alice!
July 24th, 2006, 09:29 PM
Gecko: Evidently there's some sort of ladder we're supposed to look for. It would seem that, if we find it, it'll lead straight to Earl. My theory is that it's somewhere down in the ruins. Unless, of course, you found out anything that could help.

July 24th, 2006, 09:33 PM
Sandra: I came up blank... except I did meet this scientist man and he said he thought he found a new species of grass type in the woods the other day. Isn't that awesome? Just think, there could be hundreds of undiscovered pokemon out there...
Gecko: Um.... yeah. Of course. We can't have found them all yet. Nintendo hasn't made enough money off the franchise Anyways, want to go into the ruins to look?
Sandra: Of course!
The two of you head into the cave again, but this time as you tumble in, the lights don't blast on themselves. That must have been the magic of the unown before...

July 24th, 2006, 09:40 PM
Gecko: Man it's dark down here. Perfect time for this new HM. Sandra, you might want to cover your eyes. Nincada, I want you to let loose with Flash. Make it so we can see!

Nincada appears and unleashes a blinding light. With the everlasting light aglow, you can see all the way down the part of the cave your in. Sure enough you can see the ladder, but it doesn't look too safe.
Sandra: Ready to go down there and climb the ladder? It looks pretty old...

Gecko: Ermmh...better idea. Skarm can fly us down.
Sandra: That does seem safer....

You touch down on the ground and put Skarmory back in its ball. You step forward and accidentally kick a rock that sends acoupld tumbling causing quite a ruckus.
Man: Who's over there? Help me! *ouch*
You hear a punch
Man 2: Shut up you!
Woman: Yeah, we don't need you anymore know that you've told us what we need.
Suddenly two people appear before you, about 50 meters away.
Man and Woman: Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light! Surrender now, or prepare to fight!
*A meowth appears and yells*
Meowth: That's right!

Woman: I have given up monologing thank you very much!
Man: But I sure haven't! We are Jessie and James of Team Rocket. We took this man in order to find out everything we could about each legendary type, seeing as he is the world's smartest Pokemon Teacher. But that was just side information for later missions. What we really intended this time was to know what the Unown are and how we can control their amazing psychic powers to manipulate time and reality in order to take over the world!
Earl: *Beat up and tied down behind Jessie and James* And surely I do not know how to do that!
Jessie: Shut it you, *hits him* Now, what are YOU two going to do to stop us? Huh?!
Alice!
July 27th, 2006, 06:54 PM
Gecko leans over and whispers to Sandra.
Gecko: Look, we can't get anywhere with them having a hostage. The best thing to do would be to incapacitate them. Here's the plan. I'll use Nincada's Flash to blind them temporarily, then rush in to get Earl free. Luckily enough, I carry a survival knife just in case of emergencies.
Sandra: I'll one up you. As soon as your Nincada use Flash, cover your ears. My Bayleef's Grasswhistle can put them to sleep so we'll have any easier time with this while operation.
Gecko: All right. We'll go on 3. 1...2...3!
RipTide
July 28th, 2006, 08:55 AM
On the count of 3 you do your plan and everything works out. Jessie, James, and Meowth are blinded and then put to sleep... I wonder if this will be the last you see of them?
Anyways, you grab Earl and start to run out of the cave. You finally reach the light of the outdoors and you find that Earl is passed out!! The grass whistle might have hit him too...
Do what?
Alice!
July 30th, 2006, 11:12 PM
Gecko: Bah. Poliwag, blast him in the face with Water Gun. But be gentle. We don't want to blast his face off....
Sandra: I'll go try to find someone to take him back to Violet City.
Gecko: Actually, you should probably find someone with authority to go down into the ruins and find those Rocket types. I'll guard this exit, and I doubt they could get out the main entrance with all those people swarming around.
RipTide
July 31st, 2006, 05:34 PM
Poliwag's water gun does the trick, and soon Earl wakes up, but he is in terrible pain from the cut on his head.
Earl: Owwww! They hit me with a rock to keep me quiet! Owwww!
Gecko: Are you going to be alright?
Suddenly Sandra appears with Officer Jenny by her side.
Jenny: We'll take it from here, kiddos. Great work. For everything you did you deserve a reward.
+$300
Gecko: Those Rockets should still be in the ruins...
Jenny: That's what your friend said. We've closed the ruin tours until we have them in custody. Thank you.
Gecko: Waiit! What about my pokemon school test?
Jenny: I'm sorry. But Earl is no state to give you a test. You'll have to see him another time.
As the ambulance arrives and the medics put Earl on a stretcher he reaches out to you and gives you and Sandra something.
1 Rare candy obtained for both You and Sandra!
Earl: Thank you for everything.
DO what now?
Alice!
July 31st, 2006, 06:38 PM
F*ck yeah! $300 and Candies without even having to battle!
~~~
Gecko: Well, since I can't take my pokemon school test now, we'll just have to fly on back later. In the meantime, we should probably start heading towards Azalea Town.
Sandra: All right, but that Buggsy's no push over. We should probably find some wild pokemon and get to training immediately.
Gecko: All right, let's do it!
RipTide
July 31st, 2006, 07:57 PM
The two of you head down a path that has a sign reading "Azalea this direction."
Seeing as its the obvious thing to do, the two of you follow the sign's direction and head down a dirt path surrounded by tall grass. Soon you come to a fork in the road; one way leading into tall grass, and the other to a bridge-covered pond.
Where do you want to go/look for pokemon?
Alice!
July 31st, 2006, 08:13 PM
Gecko: Hmm. Tropius could use some training, and the pond is likely to have some water pokemon. I think I'll head over there.
Sandra: In that case, I'll go into the tall grass and train with Cubone.
Sandra: Weez we seperate a lot!
Anyways...
You head along a small bridge and begin looking for pokemon, but there's not too much going on at the moment. Suddenly something causes a huge splash and you get soaked!
Fisher: SOrry man! I ran out of bait and I saw a Qwilfish! I was diving in with my net. DO you understand how RARE those are?
Do what?
Alice!
August 1st, 2006, 10:28 PM
August 7th, 2006, 10:40 PM
Gecko: Awesome. I choose you, Tropius! (Male, Level 14) Now then, flap your wings hard and kick up a strong Gust attack to try to blow that overgrown turtle off the bridge. When its in the water, nail it with your Razor Leaf attack, it should be pretty powerful against him.
RipTide
August 8th, 2006, 04:58 PM
Tropius beats its wings with tremendous power, sending Warotortle off the bridge and into the water. Unlucky for you, Wartortle starts to hide in the water and all of Tropius' following attacks miss.
Alice!
August 10th, 2006, 06:15 PM
Gecko: Hehe, silly Wartortle. Tricks are for Alakazam. Tropius, beat your wings hard and fly over the water to stir up the surface so its harder for Wartortle to see out of the water. Then use Nature Power to spray an unavoidable Swift attack at him, and use Razor Leaf whereever the stars go. You can do it!
