Following the trend over the past few days of attempting to clear out the detriments to the Gamewinners staff, we come to another issue that was brought to our attention a good while ago.

That issue being Lawson and TheGreatOne's activity in some of their forums, which we recieved multiple complaints about, and the following stats more or less speak for themselves:

TheGreatOne

TheGreatOne is obviously not doing jack in either of the Grand Theft Auto forums, and hasn't been for a long time, so he's being demodded from those. He'll retain his spot on Music & Radio and Soccer, as long as he keeps ontop of those forums.

Lawson only visits the San Andreas forum when a post is reported, and still has only posted 7 times in the last half a year. That's ridiculous, and it's going to stop. He's also not doing anything in Need for Speed, so he's being removed from that too. What's more, his co-mods in The Voting Booth have expressed a desire to have him removed as he's not pulling his weight there, either. So Lawson is being completely demodded for inactivity.

Man, you guys really are clearing out all the inactive mods, aren't you? Quite a few have gone out since this began. Well, I guess it's good in a way, puts more active mods in place to take care of things.

Wow, the GTA: San Andreas Fourms went from having 5 mods to just 1 mod in almost no time at all.......

And what about Wildchild?...Vincent I know was gone already, TheGreatOne and Lawson are now demodded, and Coleman is still "alive".

So where in this thread states of Wildchild's loss for being a mod?...Was it explained in other threads already? He was active in the months of June and early July, but not in August on the GTA:San Andreas forums.

If these mods weren't demodded, will you guys consider the same people from the mods in GTA SA when the new GTA comes out, or is that a new string of mods?

If these mods weren't demodded, will you guys consider the same people from the mods in GTA SA when the new GTA comes out, or is that a new string of mods? When a new forum is created for a new game or other reason, the usual procedure is to check to see if any current moderators wish to take the forum. And, nine times of ten, one or two current moderators will pick up a newly created forum. They don't have to have modded a forum for a previous game in the series, it can be any moderator. If no one wants to pick up the forum, the forum will become modless and usual procedures will apply with regards to that. In other words, a current moderator can pick it up at any time, but as long as it is modless it will be checked by super moderators fairly regularly. A member can also be nominated at any time for a modless forum as per usual, though obviously permission from the moderators of that forum are not needed, because by definition there are none.

Yeah, I had no time to be a mod anymore. Y'know; work, life etc. etc.

Unlike some of you, I guess I think that these mod clean-ups are a good thing. The God of War forum was getting out of hand and needing multi-threads and stuff like that cleaned up. Of course that was taken care of with the last three demods.

Just because the GTA forums are my livelyhood at GW. They're one of the main reasons I'm at GW.

I left before you guys could demod me. Ha!

Ugh, it sucks to see more mods go, though.

I left but wasn't about to get demodded anyway. They had no reason to demod me... they just don't want me back, that's all. :D

Mojo: Mod clean-ups are a good thing. You can't have the privileges for nothing.
