Welcome to the Fantasy Sports sub-forum section. As you might have guessed, this sub-forum covers fantasy sports, from Fantasy Football all the way down to Fantasy Nascar.
Fantasy Leagues that are on another site (ESPN, Yahoo, etc.)
You are free to post a thread in this sub-forum to try and get people to join your league. Make sure to post the important information for people to access and enter your league in that thread (including the website where it takes place if needed), but only that thread. If you desire, you can hold on posting some registration information if you feel that you don't want just anybody signing up. Also, this probably goes without saying, but it has to be a free league. Trying to post a pay league here will warrant a warning.
If you decide to hold your draft here at Gamewinners, (as opposed to live, etc.) please PM me first before doing so. Your league should have at least 6 or so members before you attempt to draft here at GW. Keep in mind that depending on the activity level of the members of your league, fantasy drafts here at Gamewinners could take up to and even over a month.
Fantasy Leagues that take place here at Gamewinners
Though I imagine most kinds of leagues that take place at GW would be pick'em type leagues (save for the football one back in '06), if you wish to hold an entire fantasy league here at GW (one that's not even being hosted elsewhere), PM me first so that I am aware of it, and that I or another capable member can help with the maintenance of your league (editing is turned on, keep that in mind).
In general, a league posted here at Gamewinners should have various threads setup, one for current rosters, another for transactions (may be the same thread), and then another thread for setting starting lineups and such. In these cases, the important threads will be stuck while the week by week threads (or similar) will be closed upon completion.
This Place Isn't Just for Drafts and League Setups, Though!
Topics regarding fantasy sports, such as "How's this fantasy team of mine?", "Should I start Favre or Kitna?", or "Do you recommend any waiver-wire steals?" Would be perfectly fine in this sub-forum and I infact encourage such topics. Let the fine denizens of the Sports forum give you fantasy advice. .......yeah.
Rules for the Fantasy Sports sub-forum

-If you're part of a fantasy league that's hosted at another site, keep the random discussion/trash talk at the boards there. Anything of that sort here will warrant in spam warnings.
-Similarly, if you're part of a league being hosted at Gamewinners, keep the random discussion or trash talking to a bare minimum (or PM if necessary), and post in the threads here only when it's necessary. Somewhat on-topic posts will be tolerated to a point.
-On that note, if you do decide to trash talk here, keep it within GW rules. No flaming, trolling, etc.
2) Fantasy League/Draft Inactivity
-The host of the league as well as myself can remove any member from a fantasy league if he or she displays constant inactivity through a draft or other league activity here at Gamewinners. Though no warning can be issued for not showing up, there are probably a lot of people ready and willing to take your spot should you not bother to show up every couple of days.
IN OTHER WORDS: BE ONLINE OFTEN!
3) Fantasy Soccer (or Fantasy Football as the non-US calls it)
-Go to the Soccer (http://forums.gamewinners.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=187) forum for your Fantasy Soccer needs. Any posts or threads here regarding Fantasy Soccer will be moved to the Soccer forum.
