lol, no one's goofing on darkmage.
Speaking of which, I should have something up either tonight, or tomorrow, I hope. I'm busy since school's starting for me soon, you know, back to school rush and all that.
Shouldn't take me long to write something up that'll give me an upper hand, though, no offence.

So what if you only missed one question on your national reading test...I would hope you did, considering reading is how we get along in life. Just a thought.
And quit changing your name, you're confusing the hell out of me.
By the way bounty, it's your turn to put up an attack post. Thank you, come again.

None taken. I've seen some of your RPBs and I probably cant match that. But since school's starting on Wednesday it might take some time for me to get up my posts as well. I like to write them on paper first before typing them up.

I swear, GW has a mind of its own. I can go through like 5 splits in Diablos and not lose my subscription, but then every once in a while...
Kris, if you added 'em all up, the Diablo leaders prolly have about 150 RP kills...pretty cool. That's an estimate though, I don't think any of us have kept much track of our records...

salika stared at his opponent. he knew that this was no man from his planet. an outsider, one without the gift. his opponents long swords hung at his side. dripping with blood, the blood of his comrades. salika knew what he had to do, to avenge his city, to get revenge on the wounds of his heart. the wind whistled across the torn city. buildings were crushed, houses were on fire, the streets were silent.
silence, this city used to be the haven of all obinatins. the sounds of people were gone now, only one sound could be heard, the wind. not the usual wind, the wind of the land. not the gifted, the wind soldiers are gone, destroyed like the city. he thought
salika stared at his opponent, his eyes filled with hatred. what man could destroy a city like this. only salika and this man could. it seemed that war with the planets was here. xinia had to wait, this force must be reckoned with first.
salika launched a lightining bolt that went straight toward the human. he dodged with ease. this was not the person who he seemed to be, a skilled warrior.
"so you seem to have great skill." salika stated
"just fight me and we'll see who is the better" the man replied
"as you wish."

Lunacy The voice within the beast's head spat silently in thought. Sheer balderdash The was no rage in the thought, indifferance may have been a better word, though no word could in truth describe what that beast was feeling. Everything had been going according to plan...the large city down below was crumbling under the might of the siege engines. Catapult... battering ram... they were all doing their job. and the beast had his job. Careless Ass It berated itself as on two great wings the beast hovored over the midst of the city watching it burn in the great blue inferno it had caused. That one miscalculation had ruined almost everything. In the city below and on it's outskirts the seige engines were quickly burning to ashes. The people of the city, which came forth bravely and honorably to defend their homes against what they beleived to be an unprovoked attack, were roasting under the immeasurable heat its flames had produced. The seige engines were part of the calculations. If somehow people managed to escape the seige then the design of those most effective engines coudl easily be stolen and used against their attackers. Thus the beast's instructions were clear. The siege engines were to be turned to ash.
They will demote you for this The voice within the beast's head spoke nonchalantly, with no real care apparant. The mistake that had been made was one far more horrific that expected. The beast was able to control it's flames perfectly, small calculations in glandular activity could cause flames that would discriminate between two people. The beast miscalculated, thus the people who called the city home... were not the only ones who were being roasted alive. Its own brothers, if one could honostly call them that, those thousands of hitherto nameless soldiers whom it called brothers merely out of ceremony, had been caught in it's miscalculations. It wasn't that the beast disliked it's 'brothers' or that it was purposefully. There had always been abit fo strife there. The beast was vastly different than the others. not in power ofcourse, but in appearance.. and that is what always causes emnity.
Wait... down there... the one we've been looking for. The beast lowered it's gaze and narrowed it's eyes. within the blazing blue inferno was an area swept clean of the fire, it could tell that there was one within that cleaned area. with an earth shattering bellow the humanoid dragon moved into a dive, dropping down through the air swiftly, and expanding it's wings at the right time to slow down and land almost noislessly on top of large building adjacent to the cleared area. The shape of the beast begin to blur, almost as if a mirage, though instead of empty space when that mirage dissapeared, stood a man. The warm, fire swept winds blew his long brown hair to the side. Two large, leathery dragonic wings spread out from his shoulder blades and wrapped around himself almost like a cloak. His loose brown pants were tucked into soft black leather boots and a black leather belt kept his loose pants on his hips. Golden eyes gazed out from the almost beautiful face of the man, scanning meticulously the area around for any signs of life beyond the one he knew was there. He could not see whom he awaited, but waited steadfastly, knowing that he would soon have to make battle.
Everything had gone wrong. He wasn't supposed to be in this place. he somehow knew this. He had far more important matters to attend. his situation was greatly amiss, yet for some reason he could not bring himself to realize what had gone wrong to put him in this place. With that grim thought he readied himself for the coming storm. And then that voice in his mind spoke once more He's here

DKX lets do a 1-2-1 I also dont have much time on my hands.
--------------------------------
Dakil stood on the crest of a large hill near a destroyed city with war machines destroying anything left standing. The first strike began late the night before though Dakil had no real part in the battle he had watched from it’s beginning. The towns people were being slaughtered and the machines searched the city and the out skirts for any stray people trying to escape their imminent deaths.
Dakil glanced into the sky to see a dragon flighting above the city. It released a large stream of flame that burned every thing in its path. Machines burst into flames and all the remaining towns people burst into flame. Dakil continued looking at the dragon then he remembered the dragon from some time ago.
“Why are you here?” Dakil softly asked to himself. Dakil looked down once more at the ashes of the siege machines and wondered.
“Now why would you do that?” Dakil asked pondering the dragons destruction of the machines. He looked up again to see the dragon swooping towards him .It dove down and landed on top of the nearest building and everything around it swirled in a mist the as the sky cleared a man stood there with wings draped over him Dakil looked at the man with rage in his eyes then he said
“So it is you I will have pleasure in killing you.” Dakil began to walk towards the building then stopped not fifty feet from it.
“So we meet again hope you came here to die.” Dakil said as he drew his blade, his left hand grasping the handle tightly and his other hand suddenly became enveloped in flame.
“Oh quite the contrary.” the man answered then leapt down from the building....

“As you wish,” Salika replied.
Kelan paced to his left, his swords hungering for the flesh of his opponent. He could feel their eagerness in his fingertips, their cold edges waiting to obey his grip. His feel stalked silently, his boots leaving no prints in the soft dirt. The breeze fluttered his crimson cloak behind him, its tatters flapping in the wind. His eyes locked on to his opponent, who appeared to be unarmed. Kelan was not so foolish; after all, this man had known where to find him. Surely he would not be so ignorant as to enter battle without a weapon.
Suddenly Kelan moved forward, the black sword in his right hand raised, the weapon is his left guarding the way to his breast. His opponent still wasn’t moving; his only acknowledgement of the onslaught was the flexing of his fingers. The breezes stopped and silence fell upon the plains. Time seemed still and the world felt as though it halted on its axis. Salika raised his strong hand holding a small piece of steel and a wave of energy flowed from his fingertips. As Kelan’s dire blade came crashing down, there was a fierce metallic crash as his sword met the summoned blade now in Salika’s hand.
Not wasting a second, Salika thrust his empty palm forward, catching Kelan on the shoulder. Using his weight, the balanced warrior rolled backwards, coming to his feet a few meters away from Salika. Kelan waited now, knowing his opponent would now go on the offensive. He set his feet, his blades raised waiting for the attack. Salika charged, anger in his eyes, hatred in his attack, his sword slicing down straight for Kelan’s throat. Kelan parried the blow with ease, his opposite hand moving towards Salika’s exposed abdomen. Salika’s hand moved and struck the diving sword away, the wicked edge moving out wide.
Kelan spun with the movement of his arm, his fist flying around his body and connecting solidly with Salika’s ribs. The force of the blow sent Salika stumbling, his bruised ribs causing labored breathing. Suddenly a bolt of lightning spurted out of Salika’s open hand, shooting straight for Kelan’s chest. Kelan dove to the side behind a large tree as he heard the electricity slam against the wood. Immediately sparks flew from the bark and the entire tree erupted into flames.
Rising to his feet, Kelan turned and faced his enemy once more. Now understanding the true power of the man that he faced, he could better make his attacks and move on with his mission. He lifted his light weapons from the dirt and held them casually in front of him. He slowly walked toward his opponent, his swords again eager to fulfill their duty.

Allight, I'm making my attack post now, hope I didn't keep you waiting too long Malak, I've been realy busy.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He's the one... atleast you didn't screw that one up He berated himself, though his thoughts were more uncaring than anything. The mysterious dragonic winged man stood atop the building a moment longer and watched his adversary emerging from the blue flames. The flames themselves seemed to part away from him, no doubt a result of that man's gifts over flames.
"Dragon Knight... listen up this is important." a voice sounded not too far from where he stood in the staging pavilion. He didn't make his name privvy to any but the battlemages and ofcourse the overlords... instead he merely went by the title of Dragon Knight.. a fitting title. "Dragon Knight, your objective is as follows; you are to..." the draconic winged man stopped listening at this point. he had gone over the plan many times already. the seige of the city was mere subterfuge. the true objective was to flush out the adept as the plans had reffered to him. As the general droned on and on about what he was supposed to do he went over the information he had regarding this adept. No information was on file regarding this person's appearance. It wasn't even sure if the adept was male or female. There was one deffinate report however from intelligence however, that this person had a fair ability to control fire. That was how he intended to defeat the adept.
He snapped out of his backflash and looked down at Dakil. who was now standing in a clearing of what was once a city park about fifty feet away from the building he stood upon. Dakil had issued the challenge he awaited, and ofcourse the taunt which seemed customary. He didn't quite know why but he felt the need to correct the adept and thus he did. His wings unfurled from around himself and spread out wide. He took a few steps towards the edge and then let himself calmly drop from the edge. It only took a few moments for his wings to catch the heated air.
One might consider the benifits of fighting on the ground, but the dragon knight didn't care much for making war that way. it seemed unnatural for him to battle on the ground...not that he always has much choice in the matter. Matter in fact, he almost never does. It is with this note that he didn't bother touching down. as he soared rapidly closer, his fist clenched. He launched an aerial strike at Dakil. Dakil ofcourse managed to see the strike coming, though he couldn't have expected quite the force that came with it. Dakil wasn't knocked down, but he was knocked back a few feet, the lines in the ground marking where his feet had dug in a memorial to Dakil's balance.
The draconic winged man hovered over the spot where his opponent had been before, wings beating into the air to keep him afloat. His face held none of the emotion that might come from most. He knew he had not hurt Dakil, his attack was not meant to. He considered it a form of greeting.
"My name is Valentine Shiroji... some call me Val Shiro... others call me The Dragon Knight. It's a pleasure to meet you." He said it aslmost as if greeting a friend. "Well since we don't have any choice in this, neither you nor me, let's get on with it." Then, as if addressing an old comrade he spoke one last time. "If our battle is memorial, and I happen to come out the victor, I shall grant you the gift of life and spare you. Ofcourse... if you'd rather death..." he left it hanging
Dakil waited for Val to finish his, what he considered nearly raving, words and then extended his flaming hand towards Val. With a sick smile Dakil launched the flames as a ball towards the dragonic winged man. Val extended his own hand and merely caught the ball of flame in his hand and in his other produced a blue flamed ball of the same size. He smiled and began to joggle the fireballs for a moment, his intent to irritate Dakil. Then with a flick of his wrists he sent the fireballs off in seperate directions then lowered himself to the ground. A bluish light emerged from his right hand and then extended into his famed sword. "Enough playing I think... " He held out his sword towards Dakil and began to walk forward slowly.
They had said it would end all conflict, that they were not to blame for the endless battles, that all they had to do was kill their damned leader… What was worse than the heap of lies itself was the fact that those lies had never been exposed as half-truths, but rather taken as legitimate fact, and they had based their lives around it.
The lies had taken countless lives, but that was not nearly the extent of the damage done to the people: Those who had lived through the attempts, the battles, the Hell on Earth saw their fallen comrades not as sacrifices, but simply lucky. They’d never know that their lives and sacrifices were for absolutely nothing, that their minds had been twisted, their faces lied to blatantly. They, the misinformed ignorant dead, would always be the glorious dead in their own eyes. Blissfully ignorant, and ignorantly bliss.
After their leader had died, what was said to happen never exactly did. The ‘attacks’ would end, the borders would be safe, all would be fine, and back to the norm. What actually happened was a fierce wave of ‘attacks’, leading to more death and disappointment. Those who voiced their disappointment and anger simply disappeared…
He had been a soldier. He had always been a soldier, and after the enemy’s leader was beheaded, and the war did not end, he had no idea exactly what he was any more. Was he still a soldier, defending his land? He could not tell: His unit had been a part of more offensives then defensives. Was he a murderer? He was told that the enemy were nothing but a barbaric band of beasts. He’d seen differently, though. But, then again, every soldier was a murderer. Was he a traitor? He was dismissed of his duties, for psychological reasons, he had been told. He supposed he wasn’t a traitor. His mind was, but not him. No, not him. He’d done everything he could…
But, he wasn’t even sure of that anymore. Many times he watched his kinsmen be cut down or shot, when he could have saved them, somehow. But, he hadn’t. He watched out for himself, and he had survived. Was he a traitor for that? Surviving? The dead are always remembered as great people, or heroes, but he was not. He was looked upon as a traitor, or a murderer, or a liar, thief… The people saw him as one of those soldiers who had failed the country, killed innocents, or cowered and retreated at first sign of resistance.
But they knew nothing of war. They saw war as a contest, a simple game where people did not come home, but were heroes. Yes, they died, but it was for the good of the crown, the country… Truth be told, it was nothing like a contest, but more like a desperate defense mechanism that was imbedded in all people, and was triggered at desperate times and brought about desperate actions. They killed so they would not be killed. They killed so their friends would not be killed. They saved so no one else would get killed…
He had seen grown men cry, seen sworn enemies help each other- Men who had clashed and attempted to kill just seconds before. He had seen piles of bodies, liters of blood, bones of still living, bleeding men, and the life leave countless eyes. He had gone and died on the inside, lost his life as he knew it, for what would have been an end to the years of suffering, and when his goal was reached, when he was there, on the side of the rocky hill, helping one of his previously sworn enemies reach shelter, and he looked up to the ruined keep atop that hill, he felt glory and euphoria for a short time. He saw the great Captain Cepheus, and his sword relieve the enemy’s ‘leader’, ‘king’, what have you, of his duties. He laughed, cried, and cheered all at once, and even his enemy was happy.
Days later, he was sent out to die once again. He had done it all for nothing. The upper echelons had lied to his entire generation. They wanted not to end the war, but to push it further, take more land, resources, slaves… Then, they had the nerve to blame it on the soldiers. And, of course, the people bought it.
Now, he and the other soldiers were hated. But, the soldiers were all out fighting. Meathos Alregdia had the pleasure of dealing with the public. He figured he had fought more after his war was over than while he was in it. Every so often, he would have to deal with people wishing to fight him for his past profession. He complied every time, and usually won… It caused him to be ‘slightly’ on edge.
He had taken it all in stride. He had realized, be it the propaganda or the broken mind of his, that he had been mislead, not lied to. Everything was eventually turned back to the ‘norm’: War had become the norm. That was why he did not hate or blame those who hated him. His army had taken the orders in a certain light that changed the meaning of it all.
His eyes snapped back into focus as he realized he was staring. He blinked once hard, and again. His dry eyes teared up, he stretched his nose by pulling his upper lip down with his jaw. He opened his right hand as it dangled between his knees, then shook it as the sand and stone fell to the ground with characteristic hollow clicks and ticks. He then leaned back on his arms as he placed his hands behind him, rolled his weight onto the right arm, and proceeded to stand.
He dusted his gloves off on each other with a few claps, cracked his wrist and knuckles, and looked about. He saw the bit of trees around him, he heard the small creek somewhere within those trees, felt the stone beneath his heavy boots shift. It was all very beautiful, natural, and green. He, as he knew it, stood out amongst it all like dirt upon a mother’s cleaned white bed sheets: He was wearing what he felt as the most important parts of his ‘uniform’. Breast and back plates, pauldrons, bracers, and armour on his thighs. His boots were indeed heavy leather, but they had plates fastened to the front of the shins. Under his upper armour, hanging down over his heavy, worn-in leather pants was a chain mail shirt. Under that, a simple cotton shirt. At his left hip, hanging from a frog and a belt, rested a sword. It had saved him more times than he liked, and killed more than he thought he could have… It was all dirtied, but seemed polished against the natural growth and grime of a well-watered forest.
Then, the man, Meathos Alregdia, heard someone approaching him… Knowing it would end in conflict, he simply decided to cut to the chase. He drew his sword, turned, looked at the person, and started striding briskly towards them. The wind had caught his rather short red hair, and fully exposed his face. It seemed to be rather fair, even though twisted into an angry scowl. His eyes were brown, but had an orange tinge. It, his face, was all rather sharp-featured. He resembled a fox, more than an average person would have.
“Get ready, I already know why you’ve tracked me down. I’m skipping the introductions for both our entertainment’s sake.” Meathos called to the still distant person, who had changed their posture from one of calm to utterly surprised. “I said ready yourself!” Alregdia spun his weapon in a circle beside him, rolling his wrist over itself, as he scanned the new-born battlefield: Quiet forest, quiet creek, light stone dusting dark earth, and no clear path. Beyond the small forest, as he remembered, was a hill, which lead into a wide and open valley with the great capital of the land in sight, reaching to the clear blue sky with its many turrets and towers, like a silver coin floating atop a quiet quaint pond, surface covered in algae, doing anything but reflecting the majestic blue sheet of sky above it.
And with a palm caressing a tree trunk as he passed, Meathos quietly, inconspicuously prepared for another murder, another body to the piles, more blood, more Hell, one more death, be it his own, or this other person’s… Quietly, inconspicuously, he wished it to be his time to join his friends amongst the leagues of glorious blissfully ignorant, ignorantly blissful dead.
Okay, gets the job done. Sorry for the wait, I've been drunk busy. You know, end of summer. I didn't get started on this 'till about an hour ago, so, yeah.
Attak Post 1 Malak202 vs DKX
Val slowly walked towards Dakil, his fiery blade outstretched forward at Dakil. Dakil glanced down at his blade then up at Val’s
“Two can play at that game.” Dakil said as he waved a hand over his blade, engulfing it in flame then He also began to take a few steps forward. Val then lifted his blade above his head and ran forward and slashed down at Dakil’s head. But instead of contacting Dakil’s head his blade rose up and contacted Val’s blade. Dakil’s parry put him on the offence, he slashed low and Val easily hopped over the blade. Val then thrust his blade downward to stab Dakil through the gut. Dakil parried the blow, a shower of sparks flew from the blades as they contacted and Dakil slashed at Val’s torso but the attack was parried away. Dakil attacked again but as Val was about to block the attack Dakil switched directions and attacked Val’s right arm. Val did react in time and shifted his flaming blade to parry the blow, Val then jumped back and into the air, his wings propelling him into the air. Val then swooped down and with his sword in front of him attempting to impale Dakil. Dakil saw it coming and his hand once again became enveloped in flame. As Val came close Dakil sidestepped and with the flaming hand grabbed his wing.
Val crashed to the ground screaming in pain, he quickly regained his footing and charged at Dakil. He stabbed at Dakil furiously Dakil managed to block all but one, the sword slipped past his guard and slit his right arm, the heat of the blade cauterize the wound on contact. Dakil stepped back a few feet and grasped his arm tightly. Dakil shook of the pain and focused on his enemy. Val charged forward again and slashed for Dakil’s head, Dakil ducked under the blow and rolled sideways to avoid any down strike from Val.
He regained his footing along with the offence. Flaming blades collided and wove in and out, slashing and stabbing, defending and slicing. All in a beautiful and deadly show of swordsmanship.
Blades whizzed above heads and under feet, with the enemy they could not meet. Fighters dodged and slashed in every way, looking for a weakness in the others way.
Dakil retreated once more and Val answered in kind. Both fighters circling one another waiting for the other to make a move. Several minutes passed and both fighters remained at a standoff, swords crackling from their flames. Then it happened both fighters charged forward blades pointed at each other both men attempting to impale the other with their sword and ind a shower of sparks they re-engaged.....
