View Full Version : The Hylian Warriors vs. Illuyad

Okay. No 'practising' on a lvl 100 dragon, guys. No random joiners.

In case you all have no clue how to fight a war, which I am sure you don't, let me handle this bitch.

The Hylian Warriors will post a list of fighters. The Illuyad will post a list of fighters of equal number. Then, we start matching up and fighting. 1 vs. 1. Read only the posts that are in your fight. This is not an RP story. This is a set of RPBs.

The Hylian Warriors' list so far

Alright, guys. Since this is a clan war, should we only accept members from the original clan, or should we let the Illuyad pick from their FOG batch of mess?

Bah, we'll figure it out when they have their 7 fighters ready.

Ahh, yes, I forgot our other fighter... HyruleanHero.

.

Another point, fools. If one fighter/clan is 'up' in the RPB, and they fail to post for a considerable amount of pre-set time agreed upon by both parties, that fighter loses their fight, or the clan loses the war.

Aluno threw his left arm to the left, giving a single shake to remaster his coordination. Pain meant nothing to this assassin of a vagabond. He shook his upper limbs violently, tracing them in a full circle around before stopping in front of his torso, where he then bent his elbows, as if blocking a punch. In an instant, he snapped both arms outwards and was in full sprint towards the shapeshifter. She was making a slash for Aluno's head as he charged, but in the last second, he rolled backwards to escape the machete. Midway through the roll, he sprung back forwards into the air, over the machete. He twisted his torso to the right, spun his legs to the left, and twirled full circle to his left; his left leg extended and collided with Thunder's left arm, loosening her grip on one of the machetes.

While landing, Aluno extended his right palm into the center of Thunder's chest, knocking her backwards, but not over. He followed up by raising his right leg into her left armpit, causing her to drop her machete completely. Using the momentum from his right leg returning to his side, he spun around and drew the back of his hand across her face; the same momentum carried his left shin into her ribs. Sensing an immediate reprisal, Aluno leapt backwards, rolling along the ground before springing into a double backflip.

He took up a stance putting his right limbs forward, using his forefingers to beckon his opponent forward.

OOC: Sorry it took so long

Atreyu looked up at Zero. He was towering over him with an evil grin, laughing to himself. Any moment now he could finish Atreyu, and he knew it. He walked slowly around Atreyu with his blades held out in front of him. Atreyu knew well that if he didn't do something soon then that would be it. He tried to stand while Zero's back was turned, and taking pain with a smile, he stood. Ready.

He grabbed his sword and in a swift movement of Zero turning around and Atreyu running forward, he smashed the hilt into Zero's face. Zero fell to the ground and held his face. Atreyu was quick to move though and ran over to him; dropping his sword he lifted him by his shirt and punched him in the face. He punched him again before throwing him to the floor.

Zero crawled away, but didn't get far as Atreyu pulled something out of his bag, a small knife. He threw the knife and soon Zero scream rang out across the village as the knife found it's place in his left leg.

Surely Areyu's was one of, if not, the first person to hear one of these elite soldiers scream in pain. Atreyu walked over and looked down on Zero.

"I'm not going to save you again"

Atreyu muttered to Zero, but quick again Zero jumped to his feet and holding back the pain he swung one of his blades for Atreyu's head. Atreyu ducked quickly and dodged the blade, but Zero wasn't done yet. He swung again this time the two warriors blades hit each other. As a lone spark jumped threw the air the two warriors, both at even ground looked at each other.

"Why don't you just stay down?"

Zero screamed

"Because I'm...too...good!"

Atreyu said as he pushed Zero away, the two then ran at each other swords swinging. A quick parry from Zero left an open guard of Atreyu's, the soldier took his chance and swung a blade at Atreyu's leg, cutting it.

Atreyu cried out with pain as he fell backwards to the ground. Zero ran at him, but Atreyu had recovered his mana he iced up the sword once more. Zero furiously swung another blade at Atreyu, but it was blocked and as he did so, Ice froze on the blade.

"Wha?"

Exclaimed Zero

"It's ice genius!"

Atreyu cried before running at him again. He swung his sword and the freezing blade hit Zero face. Zero clutched his face as the cold froze one half of his face. He looked confused at Atreyu before running forward with his blade. The shining blade twinkled in the moonlight as it flew towards Atreyu's face.

Zero was now completely obsessed with killing Atreyu.

Atreyu ducked and weaved out of the way of the blade; it had already caught him several times he didn't want to have to take the pain again. He ran backwards and jumped onto another roof, Zero followed slashing quickly with both blades, hoping that one would catch the thief.

Atreyu dodged, but it was getting harder now, they had been fighting for ages and Atreyu couldn't keep ducking and dodging, he had to find a way to hit back. One of Zero's blades found it's mark and dug into Atreyu's right arm. The thief recoiled in pain as he tried to get away from Zero. He ripped the arm off of his coat and tied it around the cut.

He then looked inside his bag once more for something that could slow down Zero. He found it, two knives tied together at the handles. He waited for the right moment, and then threw the knives. He watched them wrap around Zero's legs and trip him. But Atreyu had forgotten about his shadow powers. Easily Zero moved with the shadows and appeared behind Atreyu, ready to finish him off.

"Now I will finish you!"

He cried out as he swung the blade towards Atreyu's chest

"Not yet!"

Atreyu cried as he dodged the blade and then jabbed with his own sword. Zero dodged and both fighters moved backwards.

"This is an even fight; maybe I should have finished you when I had the chance"

Said Atreyu as he got ready for another attack from Zero

"Yes, you should have finished me, because believe me, you'll wish you'd taken the chance!"

Zero screamed and ran forward jumping towards Atreyu he slammed into him with a kick, knocking the thief backwards. He was quick to try and attack again, another kick knocking Atreyu further backwards. Then as Atreyu tried to roll back to his feet, one of Zero's blades clashed into the roof next to his head. He took the chance and kicked out at Zero's face, knocking him away.

"So I guess this is a fight to the death then?"

Atreyu asked

"Absolutely!"

Zero cried back before attacking again. Atreyu dodged and smashed into Zero chest with a kick. Zero hit the ground and rolled over. He jumped up and then kicked Atreyu in the face with a kick, knocking him back. Both fighters, the thief and the soldier, were now ready to finish this fight, both ready to make the final move, both ready to kill the other.

Ooc:....he thinks she's a....AHAHAHAHAHA! Oh she's no shapeshifter....in a few RP's I do have shapeshifter chars though...

Thunder's wolf instincts were already adapting to the pain..But the human wasn't. She hoped a rib wasn't broken. She growled and placed the remaining machete in its sheath. Her eyes rested on the remaining one she opened her left hand and the machete flew back into it...but she placed it into its sheath. Thunder suddenly began to sprout fur..And get tall..Bigger in every way..She was turning into the natural born werewolf she truly was. (If you want a good description a picture's worth a thousand words..) (http://www.ilmondodielena.it/tendress/lupo/werewolf-11.jpg)

Thunder: Foolish mortal...I wonder what you thought I actually was.

Thunder howled.. She was suddenly right in front of him instead of a few feet away. She slashed in crossed his right cheek and crossed his stomach, ripping his clothes. Thunder howled again...the eerie howl echoed through the forest. She suddenly slunk into the shadows...he could no longer see her. Suddenly he heard a rustling behind him and a werewolf lunged at him...he dodged and kicked her in the stomach wile she flew past. Thunder landed on her feet, growling.

Jerk. Lost my clever retort because of that...

A shapeshifter is anyone who changes shape or form. Therefore, a werewolf is a shapeshifter and lycanthropy is a shapeshifter's disease. And I have to point out that your posts are inconsistent.

~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-
The blind monk charged at the lycanthrope, keeping his right shoulder low and his left arm trailing high. He leapt up into the air in front of the diseased one, kicking her again in the stomach to ascend over her. As he did, he tumbled, taking the wolfen head in his right arm and one of the werewolves machetes with his left hand. The movement caused Thunder to be bent backwards, almost completely immobilized. Aluno quickly used the unsheathed machete to skin the fur off the back of his opponent. The machete cut only deep enough to the skin, and from there Aluno removed both fur and flesh from the base of the spine up to Thunder's neck. His hand sizzling from contacting the machete, Aluno cast the blade off into the darkest depths of the forest. A infuriated bear roared from the distance; Death Crows swooped down for the peeled flesh, devouring it as they flew back upwards.

Returning to his foray, Aluno twisted the neck of his opponent slightly as he brought it lower. Using his free left arm, he smashed the clavicles of the werewolf, fracturing the bones. He leapt upwards, head still captive, and kicked into the exposed meat of his opponent, using the force to bring himself back down and under between the legs. Thunder howled in pain, clawing the empty air as she tried to examine her wounded back. Aluno took a position to kick her in the chest, but the beast grabbed his leg and tossed him towards the center of the ring. He quickly pulled his legs inwards, balling himself and sending him spinning. He extended his legs and reached downwards towards the flaming brazier as he passed over it. He suspended himself over the flame carefully, his bare bleeding chest directly over the flame. The flames licked and danced over the blood, purifying it of the shapeshifter's disease.

Aluno brought himself lower to the flames, allowing them to seal his wounds. He raised himself up again, pointing his feet straight into the air. He dropped himself towards the flames again, legs retracted, and then sprung upwards, flipping towards his opponent. He threw the hot flaming tinders he pulled from the brazier; Thunder's fur was set on fire. Death Crows must have sensed burning meat, as they were flying around low on fire. Thunder howled in flaming agony once more, but Aluno knew he wasn't done yet.

Well met, Atreyu. That was fun.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A fight to the death?
When had this fight not been a fight to the death?
Zero and Atreyu, breathing heavily, watched each other, wary of the next move. At this point of the battle, fatigue made mistakes obvious and frequent, something detrimental to both of the fighters. Gone were the flashy combos, the clever feints, and the delighted banter between the two combatants.
Zero reached down to his leg, and pulled the small dagger out with a sickly squelch. Wiping his blood off the blade, Zero threw it down at Atreyu’s feet.
“Again,” he said.
Atreyu cautiously snatched up the dagger, not sure why the sheikah had given him such an advantage, and measured up the distance between himself and Zero, some ten feet. His thoughts still on the stupidity of Zero's move, Atreyu threw the deadly projectile.
Time seemed to slow for Zero. The dagger raced towards him at a much slower pace than he knew it should, and Zero took advantage of that. Nonchalantly waving his right hand before him, Zero conjured a wave of darkness, concealing himself from Atreyu’s eyes.
Atreyu watched as the dagger flew true into the shadow field. A few seconds passed, and the darkness dissipated. Atreyu fumbled for some more daggers.
Zero stood, hands at his sides, no dagger in sight. Zero shrugged, as if it was nothing, and pointed one blade at Atreyu.
“Again.”
Atreyu picked up the bola knives, again throwing them at Zero. This time, the Sheikah didn’t even have to lift his arm. A sphere of darkness intercepted the bola, engulfing it and leaving nothing.
Okay, Atreyu thought. Now what do I do?
“You die.” Zero said, gesturing to his shadow. The creature jumped up to its master, holding out its hand. He had listened to the thoughts coursing through Atreyu’s shadow. Atreyu’s thoughts. “My turn.”
Something began to slide out of Zero’s shadow. Squinting, Atreyu recognized it as his dagger. Zero’s shadow placed the dagger in its master’s hand, and then quickly summoned the bolas.
Zero sheathed a makhaira, and wound up. Atreyu tensed, ready to dodge the dagger. He had no idea who he was up against. Zero watched Atreyu’s muscles coil, and quickly calculated where the thief would run. Reading the swordsman’s shadow wasn’t necessary. He had toyed around with him long enough.
Zero threw the dagger with lightning speed, sending the shadows to aid it in its flight. Atreyu rolled to the side, eyes bulging as he watched the dagger bounce off a shadow and resume its pursuit. Atreyu steeled himself for the coming agony.
The dagger slid into Atreyu’s shoulder, digging deep. The thief looked up at Zero, noticing then that the Sheikah had disappeared again.
“Show yourself, you bastard!” Atreyu shouted to the darkness, only then noticing that it was only getting darker.
“Do you fear the dark?” a voice said behind him. Atreyu swung his sword, hitting naught but the ever increasing darkness. Soon it was all around him, a perfect darkness that covered everything. Atreyu locked his feet into the ground, cautious of this new, fiendish technique.
“Do you fear me?” the voice said again. “For the darkness and I are one and the same…”
Atreyu wheeled around, his sword becoming fainter and fainter in the pervading darkness. Soon he couldn’t see it, or even himself, only darkness.
“On a beautiful night such as this,” the voice said continued, “ I am everything the darkness touches. Even you, Atreyu Waye of Alrozane. What are you going to do? Hit me with that big Breeze of yours? Swing away, thief! But come to think of it, where’d your sword go?”
Atreyu grasped around in the darkness. His blade had seemingly disappeared, evaporated from his grasp. Atreyu got down on his hands and knees, searching for the weapon. He stopped, feeling a thin blade tickle across his throat. Atreyu jumped up, springing into a fighting stance. A figure seemed to materialize out of the darkness.
Zero stepped forward, grinning maliciously. His mask was gone now, and Atreyu could see his entire face, or, perhaps, what was left of it. Zero’s jaw, eyes, and nose were gone, ripped off by some unknown force. But still, the Sheikah walked forward, speaking to the terrified thief. Bleeding, oozing, the ravaged skull looked in his direction, as if nothing had changed.
“I am Gnisal, the Guardian of Shadows. I am the One Who Walks With the Darkness, the Khriska’Tar, Sun Cotos! The one you know as ‘Zero’ is just one of my many forms. The darkness has no true form, though. Each shadow, each fear is unique to the one who views it.”
Atreyu realized that this Gnisal was the voice he had heard in the darkness. He raced forward, tackling the Sheikah, only to pass right through him. Atreyu landed in a heap somewhere else in the darkness.
“I know your fear, Atreyu Waye…” Gnisal whispered into Atreyu’s ear. The thief thought about striking the Sheikah, but realized the futility of the action. Gnisal’s head, disjointed from his body, swung around to face the young thief.
“You fear death!” Gnisal said, maggots spewing from his mouth. Atreyu fell backwards, clawing at the disgusting insects that quickly wiggled into his garments and feasted on his skin.
“You fear the past!” the head shouted, and Breeze materialized before Atreyu. Before the thief could reach it though, the blade shattered into dozens of pieces. Atreyu roared in anger. Breeze had been his most treasured gift from his father.
“You fear failure!” Gnisal continued, his ravaged visage still managing to convey a smile. Atreyu looked across the darkness, and watched with horror as a member of the Sheikah Service produced his father. “N-no…” Atreyu stammered, jumping to his feet. “Dad!!”
The Sheikah forced the man to his knees, and produced a large saber.
“See how Sket longs for the kill?” Gnisal’s voice whispered in Atreyu’s ear. “He is skilled at making these executions entertaining. Just look at your father’s eyes. Can you save him? Will you reach him in time? To me, it looks like you’re going no where.”
“Shut up, you sick freak!” Atreyu yelled, pouring on the speed. He was so close, so close to his father. His hand reached out, as if the few feet it would gain would save the old man. Atreyu’s father looked up at the thief, eyes full of sorrow. “Atreyu…” he said pitifully, before Sket stabbed him through the throat.
“NOOOOO!” Atreyu screamed, watching the Sheikah slide and twist the blade further into his father, before kicking the decrepit man off the blade and wiping it clean.
Gnisal materialized in front of Sket. “Well done, my friend.”
Atreyu roared. He would kill them. He would kill them all. He continued his pursuit of the two Sheikah, who walked off into the darkness. Atreyu lunged, diving at them-
And the illusion disappeared.
Atreyu dove off the roof of the building, tumbling head over heel to the street below. Zero, who had been standing patiently, creating the masterful mirage, looked over the edge of the building to the crumpled form below. To his surprise, Atreyu clawed around with his left and right hands. But it was obvious that both the thief’s legs were broken.
Zero took his time heading downstairs. He had one last lesson in fear left. Passing Sket, Kriska, and the rest of his team, Zero stepped over the dead forms of the other criminals. One last loose end to tie up…
Atreyu was crying from the pain. His legs were shattered, and his back twisted in more places than he could count. To sit up alone, the young thief had to prop himself on his elbows. Looking to his side, Atreyu saw Breeze right where he left it: in his hand. Looking up, he didn’t see his dead father or feel the crawl of the maggots on him.
He could only see the shadowy form of Zero gliding towards him.
“No…” Atreyu gasped. He watched as a curved makhaira slipped into Zero’s hands.
“P-p-please. Mercy.” Atreyu stammered. He couldn’t defend himself at all.
“I can’t fight…You…you can’t kill me now.” Atreyu tried, noticing that Zero slowed his step considerably.
Zero slowed his step because he wanted the thief to see him coming. He wanted the boy to see death, to watch it walk up to him. He wanted the boy to understand how pointless it was to try to beg, to try to run, to try and fight.
Nevertheless, Atreyu did try to run. Or rather, he tried to crawl. Muttering in fear, the boy might have made it four feet before a solid boot smashed down onto one of his functioning hands. Well, it wasn’t functioning anymore. With a kick, the boot rolled Atreyu over, and he beheld Zero, the Watcher of the Night, Death Incarnate.
Zero bent down, a single makhaira in his left hand. The blade danced across Atreyu’s throat lightly. The lad looked up, not wanting to see his own death. A strong hand grabbed his hair, and pulled his eyes down to watch.
The makhaira dug into the notch just above Atreyu’s sternum. Blood began to ooze out of Atreyu’s mouth and the wound. Getting a tight hold on the weapon, Zero pulled downwards, cutting through the sternum and slicing through Atreyu’s vital organs. Zero pulled with all his might, gutting Atreyu from sternum to stomach like a butcher guts a pig.
Atreyu was dead before he made it down to the intestines, though.
Zero heard footsteps behind them. He recognized their beat, though, and the voice from the shadows only reassured him.
“Your orders, boss?” Kriska said.
Zero stood up, and wiped the blood on his hands and blade off on Atreyu’s coat.
“Tag them, and string them up in the town square. Make an example of them.” Zero replied, clapping Kriska on the shoulder. The lower ranked policeman walked over to Atreyu’s body, relieving the lad of his sword and fifty pieces of gold.
“He gave you quite a run, didn’t he, Gnisal?” Kriska said, cringing at the mistake.
Zero looked over his shoulder. The mirage he conjured for Atreyu did harbor some truths…
“Perhaps.”
