As a suggestion, a good idea before challenging your next clan would be to test out your skills in the Training Grounds (http://forums.gamewinners.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=258). It's a place for you to have your own training sessions and offer constructive criticism on each other's rp or rpb skills, although the former is more often done within the clan itself. You can host your own practice one on ones or have a mock tournament within your clan. For instance, TDM could face TF and LL would face bounty. Then the winners of those two matches would face each other. It's a good way to improve your rpb skills, and because of that fact there is only gain to be had from doing it. I started my own career in the training grounds and after only a year I was considered of the higher end calibur of rpb'ers. All it takes is patience, a willingness to learn, and creativity.

In short, as one of your two resident C&CW mods, welcome to C&CW. You've challenged the strongest clan in existence at this time and while I doubt you'll pose much of a threat, think of it as a chance to measure how you stack up against the best. Learn from your mistakes, and remember it's the fun that counts. Enjoy your stay here at Clubs and Clans Wars. Day was breaking as Salika watched the battle scarred wasteland he used to call home. His city was destroyed. But by whom. Xinia maybe, or a much powerful force, no Xinian army could take out an entire city. No it must be something much stronger. He looked on toward the sky, and tried to sense a electronic pulse. None, everyone was vanquished.

As all hope seemed to be lost he sensed something, something small. He turned towards the direction it was coming from and focused. He sensed it, yes something was still alive. He jumped and ran towards the faint electronic pulse.

He was nearing the source of the electricity when it seemed to grow extremely powerful, more powerful than he has ever felt.

The day was young but the sky was tinged black, blanketed by darkness. Destruction plagued the land and unspeakable horrors fell down upon all who lived in it. War had come. Those who attempted valiantly to defend their homes were struck down violently by the legions of the Diablos, an unstoppable war machine. Their soldiers were honed and their tactics perfected.

One of the Diablos' warriors stood high amongst the mountains, stopping to survey the violence that had befallen the valley below him. A wicked grin crept to his lips as he laughed quietly. They hadn't forseen the assault, and their country was far too weak to defend itself. Still, those who lived fought with every ounce of strength they posessed, searching for every warrior they could find.

A light breeze floated through the mountain range, gently swirling around the trees and over the grass. The silence was not complete, the shouting and cries for help could still be heard, escaping the village. Kelan took a deep breath with his eyes closed, swallowing the soft air and taking in the haunting morning. This day would be a long one, he knew that he was being hunted. He wasn't fearful, just weary from war. His cloak was tattered and torn at the hem, fluttering in the breeze. At his side hung two identical longswords, their black steel hiding inside their sheathes. His armor shrouded his war-honed body, its ebon metal protecting his chest. His gloved hands reached down to grasp the hilts of his swords. Even hanging at his waist he could feel their balance, feel their eagerness to pierce his enemy's body.

His eyes opened slowly as he looked back down upon the valley below. He turned swiftly back to the small path that led down the mountainside, his crimson cloak flowing behind him. The soft clinking of his armor accompanied the crackle of sticks and brush beneath his greaves, his feet wasting no time down the beaten trail. As he moved nonchalantly down the mountain, Kelan began to wonder what this small city had done to deserve such brutal punishment. He didn't question the orders of his superiors and he hadn't regret his actions. He was a veteran of war, he had seen much worse. But often times, his battles had been fought in defense of his homeland or in retribution to an unwarranted attack.

Kelan shook these slight doubts out of his mind, his hair moving in front of his eyes. He waved his fingers in front of his face and stopped suddenly as he reached the bottom of the incline. A wicked smile distorted his features as he looked through the trees and out into the fields. He could hear another man cautiously walking through the grass, but the darkness shrouded his enemy. He knew he had been sensed, or heard at the very least.

Kelan moved out of the forest and into the clearing. He spotted the other warrior and silently withdrew his weapons from their scabbards. The blackened swords hung comfortably at his sides, his gauntlets cupping their cold hilts with familiarity. Kelan stopped walking as the sun came out from behind the dark clouds. Sunlight poured into the clearing, dousing both of the warriors in golden light. With a smirk on his face, Kelan calmly addressed his enemy.

"So it seems you have found me at last. I was what you were searching for was I not?" he asked.

"I knew you would be here," Salika replied "I felt your presence."

"Good, then do what you came to do. However, know that I promise no ease in your endeavor."
