-+- VIDEO GAME NOUNS -+-

You know, person, place, thing, action...nouns. Now I'll be the first to admit I haven't played but a handful of vid games but, I'm good at research. I'll be using faqs and cheats so forgive any mistakes that come out of them.

Rules! Rules! Rules! For now let's go with the rules set forth in Video Game Hangman. Well, most of them anyway. Let's do away with the Abeyance points. Any puzzle not guessed will result in points for the current host/hostess. All puzzles will be valued at three (3) points. Thanks for playing with me guys/dolls. Let's Rock!

The game is just getting underway so expect some modifications as we go along. Thanks again for playing everyone.

Here are the rules for this game. Some of you may notice that some of them are similar to those on Video Game Title Hangman.

1. Obey the forum rules and the forum-wide rules.
2. You may guess two consonants, a vowel, a number and a consonant or vowel, or the answer at a time. Please note that if you guess a letter that has already been guessed after the last 5 minutes, it will go into the wrong guesses section. If it was wrong in the first place, it will go in there twice.
3. Each puzzle will be worth three points.
4. Each puzzle can have a maximum of twelve wrong guesses at a time. If all twelve are used up before the correct answer is given, then points will go to the host/hostess.
5. Every once in a while, the host/hostess may mess up on something on a puzzle, and it affect players' ability to correctly guess the answer. When this happens, all players who posted a guess will recieve 3 points.
6. Every once in a while, the host/hostess will do puzzles where the players can get bonus points for correctly guessing the word(s) it/themselves as well as the game (or a game) that it's from. They'll have to submit the game when they submit the word itself, so they won't be able to find out the word or term from someone else's post and then post the game. If the game name isn't with the term in the first correct post, the bonus isn't earned.
7. These rules are subject to change.

New: To make it easier for everyone to know when there's a special puzzle in play, I will now use three different colours denoting three different puzzle types: Navy is the standard three point puzzle that is most commonly seen; Sea Green simply means that the puzzle is worth more than the usual three points; Royal Blue means that the puzzle has bonus points for naming the game from which the puzzle was from.
