Once again i am asking how to play this darn game ive asked how to make a character and a dragon and im not sure how to play by the sound of it you just pick a name and type stuff like its a story or word battle?Will someone please get back to me on this

rpb or role play battles are tests of writing and creative skill. generally a one on one battle, two original fictional characters thought up by the users.

best way t start and to create a character is uniqe based on the writers preference, myself I work on a personality and discription then choose a name, but some do it the other way around. Your character or characters must have both streigths and weaknessess(you don't have to post and brocast them you just have to have them and inplement then in the fight haveing two god clash niether in no real danger or takeing any damage is a dull read you need real in depth characters to impress a judge)

the battles themselves are not judged on the outcome of the actual fight, as both sides post a "kill" post but mainly on the skill and feniss of the writers, whoever can chreate a riviting small story of the fight is the winer not the one who creates the more god like character, else the c&c wars forums would just be one giant dbz arena

I'm hopeing that bhelps and is a acuate discribtion, I'm not totally sure if I have it right I'm a bit rusty myself as I haven't rpb'ed in years

To quote Hero Of Time from another thread here in C&CW:

Basically you write a creative prose introducing your character and the events leading up to the impending battle with my character. Then I would introduce my character in the same fashion. Then we would take turns typing out a battle between our characters, with each post picking up where the last one left off.

Then we kill each other (the second person's kill obviously picking up from their previous post, and not the one immediately before theirs, since in that post their character died).

For example a fight between you and I might go something like this:

Your Intro: "Stumpy walks onto battlefield"
My Intro: "HoT walks onto battlefield"
Your 1st Post: "Stumpy punches HoT"
My 1st Post: "Recovering from punch, HoT kicks stumpy"
Your Kill: "Stumpy leaps to his feet and crushes HoT's skull"
My Kill: "Following his kick, HoT stabs Stumpy repeatedly."

This would be called a "1-1-1" battle, meaning there is one intro, one battle post, one kill, from each person. Fights can be 1-3-1, 1-5-1, etc. If you want to be old school do a 1-8-1.

But obviously that is a dumbed down version of fighting. The winner is judged (by a referee) on creativity, so posting like I did above would be a complete joke in an actual RPB (role-play battle).
