This is a simple thread. I would like to know which purchase of which game would be the best. In England and on the Xbox, mind you. The options are:
Fifa 06
Pro Evo 5
Wait for Pro Evo 6 (when is that, by the way?)
Wait for Fifa 07 (read contents of above brackets)
Any previous edition of either of those series
Other (please state)
Currently I have Fifa 04, Fifa 05, Pro Evo 4, and Man U Club Football 04/05. I also have Fifa 04 on the PS1.
Thanks in advance!

You got ripped off :D
Pro Evolution 6 will probably come out around October, as they usually do. If that's the case get a cheap copy of Pro Evo 5 (you'll probably be able to get one for about a tenner) and play that for a few months. Then get six upon its release.

Why is that? It's a great game, with the same controls as Pro Evo 4.
And won't Pro Evo 5 stay quite expensive until a few weeks after Pro Evo 6's release?

Please do not use 'Club Football' in the same sentence as 'Pro Evo'. The whole Club Football set of games were mediocre at absolute best.
And you can pick up Pro Evo 5 quite cheap now. As I said about a tenner if you're lucky. Football games go down in value faster than most other genres.

I repeat, what is it that makes the Club Football series so 'mediocre' as you put it?
And are the prices you mentioned for Pro Evo 5 for the PS2 (which I think you have), because I have an Xbox, not a PS2.

I'm sure I saw it cheap recently on X-Box.

Ok. Thanks. But I find it is actually a decent game. I can score from kick-off (although in career mode you can't in the first half if you're home, as it makes you start as your own player, not the whole team.
