Sabian, Zildjian or other?

Personally, I like Sabians. I just like their sound more...


I'm wondering about everyone else, though. Are you pure Sabian, pure Ziljian, other, or like a mix?


I may get a Zildjian ride, because their rides tend to be sweet...
I need to replace my hi-hats, too, any suggestions?

You can't forget Paiste. :)

Both Zildjian and Sabian have their highs and lows...I guess I'm a mix between Zildjian, Paiste, and Wuhan.

For hi-hats...15" A New Beats or 14" A Zildjian & CIE Vintage sound nice.

And since you say you like Sabian, try out the Vault hi-hats. They're great but expensive.

I know Paiste is good, but also expensive, I find. At least the sh!t the stores around here carry are.

I was thinking of some 15", since I tend to have my set be really low-tuned, and I have big crashes and such... We'll see, I get paid soon.

i'm not a drummer, but Paiste tend to get the best feedback from people i talk to.

Paiste crashes sound great. And every set needs a Wuhan China.

I have a set of Z/K hats, great things. the zildjians while over priced are very good.

Sabian, well meh at this stage. I moved on from them.

Paiste are possibly the best for your buck, and there is a brand called Meinl that are also brilliant.

You have to be careful with Meinl though...They sell some of the best cymbals but they also sell some of the worst.

and definetly Wuhan for china's, cannot be beat for price for quality by a loooooong way.

Any specific zildjian hat? I know you said K, but I'm not sure what they make within the K line of hats.

And I've been looking for a Wuhan china for a while, but no one seems to have them up here. :(

the wuhans are really an internet job.

As for the hats, i use Z/K dyno beat hats 13"
