Al vs. Terraina

Al walks with confidence to his position in the gym. He thumbs at his Pokeballs, considering which one to send out. "Alrighty, let's get this battle going!" he exclaims.

[Alice!]

Girl: Heh, my name is Terraina Dunes, and don't you forget it! This will be a one on one singles match with no time limit. This will be half stats and half RP, the better you role-play the more damage your attacks will do. Now then, I'll send out first. Go Vibrava! (Level 13, Female)

Vibrava eh? Well that makes Nidoran a terrible choice....I might as well match flying with flying...Go Hoothoot! Use forsight so you can get a lock on it, then dodge its next attack and Growl at it as much as you can!

[Alice!]

Hoothoot takes to the air as Vibrava flaps its wings hard, causing the sand on the gym floor to start swirling at your feet. You hop back to avoid being trapped, but Hoothoot just keeps flying. Hoothoot ducks out of the way of Vobrava as it tries to Bite, but with its Foresight he is able to dodge and hits Vibrava with a pair of Growl attacks.

Good Hoothoot! Keep flying around, dodging attacks and sending Growls at it!

[Alice!]

Hoothoot flies around quickly, but Vibrava is able to Bite it hard after being hit with only one more Growl attack. Vibrava drags Hoothoot down to the quicksand and lets go, but Hoothoot is able to quickly fly out of the way and avoid extra damage.

Good Hoothoot, continue flying around quickly, but now go for as many tackles as you can!

Hoothoot flys around and slams into Vibrava multiple times as Vibrava tries to kick up clouds of sand around Hoothoot, though none of its efforts amount to anything.

Terraina: Damn it Vibrava! Hoothoot's a flying type, your ground attacks won't work on it!

Vibrava nods and suddenly fades away in a black mist. Hoothoot looks around anxiously, and Vibrava pops up out of Hoothoot's shadow and slams into it for decent damage.

Argh, Faint Attack....

Hoothoot! Go in for Tackles on Vibrava, and if it disappears, start flying as fast as you can in loops!

Hoothoot continues to pummel Vibrava with Tackles, but Vibrava gets into a groove and starts to retalite easily, finally Biting Hoothoot so hard on the wing that it is forced to land. Luckily, the sand has quieted down from earlier.
