20 Strike Attack(lvl 3): Maxwell drives his sword into the chest of his oponent 20 times. It is only for use against a single enemy.
Sword Barrier(lvl 2): Maxwell spins around, swinging his sword quickly to defeat multiple enemies and drive them back.

Background: Maxwell grew up with his parents and younger brother. He would swordfight his brother with sticks and wood. Maxwell's younger brother disappeared one day, at the age of 10. Most thought that he was kidnapped or killed. Maxwell's father gave him a sword and he swore that he would find his younger brother and set him free.

Maxwell was wandering around in the woods. He hadn't eaten in a while. But he kept focused. He was supposed to find his brother. Suddenly, he heard a branch snap. He turned around to see a small deep playing around. It would make a good meal.

Fight the deer?

Maxwell draws his sword and shouts, "Fissure!" The deer starts to run but finds itself trapped in a crack in the ground. He holds his sword above his head and moves in for the kill.

ooc: I have no idea what I'm doing here. Is it like the Poke RPG where I tell you what I want to do and then you tell me if it works. Or is it I Rp everything?

Maxwell runs forward and slices the head off the deer.

Considering how that was a two post kill, I won't award a level up.

"Hmm, I should probably figure out how to cook and eat the meat but I think I want to go find something a little bit harder to defeat."

Maxwell begins walking off deeper into the forest.

[Aura]

Maxwell walked out of the woods. It was a lake! And drinking from the lake was a large buffalo.

Fight the buffalo?

[Pontus]

Maxwell shouts, "Fissure!" but the Buffalo hears him and comes charging at him. He sidesteps the buffalo as it charges at him like a Bullfighter. The large beast turns around and starts to charge back at Maxwell but he shoots a stream of mud into the air and at the buffalo.

[Aura]

The buffalo shook its head and charged toward Maxwell. Maxwell quickly dived under and stabbed the buffalo in the gut.

FYI, everything you use in an RP battle gets a level up. Use most of your skills to maxamize the skills you level up.

So did I level up there or what?



Maxwell yawns and says out loud, "I really wish there was something that would be a little bit harder to fight. I want to train a little bit before I set off on my journey.

ooc: Whoops, use that post for after I kill it, then. And who the hell edited my post so it says Saphire Katana?

Maxwell pulls out his blood-drenched blade and holds it over his head. He shouts, "Earth Blast!" and shoots the Buffalo with a chunk of mud, knocking it over. He jumped up into the air and the beast was trapped in a fissure. He shouted, "20 Strike Attack!" and drove his blade 20 times into the beast.

[Aura]

OOC: I did.

The buffalo fell over, dead. Pontus cuts it open and takes out some meat

"I think I'll go look for a town where I can stock up and maybe get in a fight.

[Aura]

You head toward town, singing "It's a small world after all" really loudly. You arrive at a small town resting in the mountains.

[Pontus]

...what?

Maxwell starts looking around for a weapons shop or a bar. He sees a gathering of people outside on the streets and moves closer to see what the commotion is about.

[Aura]

I felt mean, so sue me :P

You look over and see a large hole in the ground. "My baby fell through the hole! What can we do to save him?"

You can either kill everybody and make a new base in this town or you can save the boy. What do you want to do?

[Pontus]

ooc:I'm feeling mean and if my base is here, I must get all of the spoils for free.

Maxwell started laughing and drove his sword into the woman's chest. He threw her down into the hole and started gathering his power. The townspeople started attacking him and he shouted, "Sword Barrier!" They kept running at him but he started to spin quickly, chopping many of them in half.

"What do you think you're doing you little punk?" a man asked from the horde.

"Making a new HQ for myself in your nice little town!"

[Aura]

OOC: Evil! So damn evil!

Maxwell continues to slash the townspeople apart. After he kills the final person, he looks up to see a fighter standing on a house. He had a large soward and was wearing heavy armor. "You dare destroy my town? I will destroy you!" He jumps down and runs straight at you.

He is lecel 6, you are level two. The only way to win is to pour your soul into your RP.

[Pontus]

Maxwell starts to use fissure but the man flips over and lands behind him. He quickly ducks under a large sword and then jumps forwards to create distance between the two. Some of the ground comes up and is shot at the man but he easily dodges.

The armored man charges again and lunges at the murderer. Maxwell jumps to his left and the man finds himself stuck in a large crack in the ground. Maxwell starts to laugh and moves in saying, “20 Strike Attack!” He stabs 20 times extremely quickly into the man’s chest.

“You fool. It will take more than that to kill me with my armor!”

Maxwell sighed and began pummeling the man with his Earth Blast attack. He repeatedly used it until one attack sent the man flying out of his Fissure. He started to charge again but Maxwell started to spin with his sword barrier technique.

“Do you think that will stop me?” the man jeered. He grabbed the blunt side of the sword while Maxwell was still spinning. He then through him by the sword all the way over and into a building. Maxwell used his sword to push himself up and then charged at the man.

Maxwell swung over his head but then pulled out and stabbed for the stomach. His attack was dodged but he flipped forward and kicked the man in the face. He used Earth Blast and knocked the man back a few feet so he could observe the armor.

“It looks weak in the neck and under the arm pits,” Maxwell thought to himself. He then used fissure to capture the man and lunged at the man’s throat.

[Aura]

OOC: Very nice! :^: This will take a few more Rp posts.

The man easily blocked Maxwell's strike. "Why do you want to ham our village? I honestly want to know!"

[Pontus]

“A couple of reasons. First, I was feeling sort of evil today and I needed a new base anyway. Second, I needed some experience in battle, why not practice on you and your towns people. And third, it’s fun!”

With that, Maxwell kicked the man in the chest and sent him flying out of the crack in the ground. He turned on his heel and sent a blast of earth into the man’s chest. Over and over again, he used this Earth Blast technique until the man dove out of the way and dodged one of them.

This time, the man charged head-on at Maxwell. He jumped up and tried to drive his sword into Maxwell’s chest. Maxwell ducked under the strike and them used the helm of his sword to bash the man in the face. The man’s nose started to bleed steadily and in his rage, he threw Maxwell into a building.

Maxwell was slow to get up. He drove his sword into the building and sat there for a moment until the man started to run at him again. He swore under his breath and then jumped to his feet, climbing the building by driving his sword into the wall and dragging himself up with his feet.

After reaching the top of the building, the man started to jeer and curse, trying to get him to come down. Maxwell cut a piece of wood off of the roof and threw it at the man.

The man easily deflected the wood with his large sword but Maxwell was right behind. He landed on the man’s shoulders and pushed him to the ground, holding his sword up to his throat, preparing for the final thrust.

[Aura]

The man gasps for air. "Spare my life...and I will give you my armor and weapon as well as show you where the hidden treasure is."

[Pontus]

Maxwell reaches down and takes off the man's armor. He takes his weapon and tosses it across the ground.

"Get up and put your hands behind your back so I can tie them." The man obeys and soon, his hands are bound and a sword is held at his throat. "I'll come back for your weapon and armor as soon as you show me the treasure."

[Aura]

The man walks into a small shack and closes the door. A few minutes pass by. The door slams into Maxwell's face as a wall of flames emerges from the building. It is a young mage. He stares at the bodies in horror. "Understood, sire. This fiend shall suffer."

[Pontus]

ooc: How did he slam the door or even walk into a shack without me following him. And his arms are tied. And what level is the mage?

[Aura]

OOC: You opened the door for him. Whatever makes you happy. Please post what Maxwell does.

[Pontus]

Maxwell quickly slits the man's throat and traps the mage in a Fissure. He bolts but not before stopping to pick up the Armor and Sword (Names and Levels?). He feels the heat of fire balls and blasts of other magic behind him but he keeps running until he is far from the city. Maxwell then straps on the armor and waits to see if the mage followed him this far, creeping into the bushes for a sneak attack.

ooc: Did I get level ups for defeating the man, even though I didn't directly kill him? Also, what are the names of my new Armor and Weaponry.

[Aura]

OOC: Soon.

The mage blasts the items out of Maxwell's hands before he can study them. "If you want the village, then take it! But leave us alone!"

[Pontus]

"I'm in a good mood right now so I think I will let you go. However, I get everything that is in the city and if you even show a slight sign of aggression, I will kill you instantly."

[Aura]

"My name is Sendo. We will meet again." The mage teleports away to an unknown place. When you return to the village, you see most of it burned to the ground. Only three houses remain.

Which will you search first?

Maxwell walks into the first house on the left and slowly opens the door. He looks around.

What is inside?

[Aura]

You see many tables and lots of canvas. This must have been a mapmaker's house! With some effort, it can be turned into a briefing room if you get enough members to get a base!

[Pontus]

Maxwell walks out and then into another building, hoping that it conains something useful.

[Aura]

Maxwell sees many beds and a large kitchen. This would serve well as the bunker.

[Pontus]

Maxwell walks into the last building and crosses his fingers, hoping for some sort of armary of some sorts.

[Aura]

How'd you know that was what it was?

Maxwell walks in and sees multiple weapon racks as well as boxes. There ate two spears leaning on the back wall, but it is quite empty.

[Pontus]

"Perfect!" Maxwell runs back and grabs one spear and then leaves the building. "There are 2 things I need to do now. Find some people to follow me unquestionably and fill of my weapons room."

Maxwell sets off to look for followers.

Acquired Iron Spear

Maxwell journies throughout the mountains and the forest, now finding anybody. He is about to return when he feels a soft hand on his shoulder. Maxwell turned to see some sort of ghost chuckling to himself. "Foolish mortal, you dare to enter my lair?" The trees dissappear and are then filled with chaos energy. "Prepare to join my band of slaves, mortal!" With that, he turned into a swordsman with simple robes.

[Pontus]

"It would be in your best interest not to mess with me. If you do not want to die, follow me and we can make the most powerful faction to walk the earth! If you start a fight, I will not hesitate to kill you."

ooc: Did I level up or not for beating that other guy?

[Aura]

(Lv.1, Maxwell swings his sword into the air, sending the opponent flying)

"Your offer interests me. Show me your base."

[Pontus]

ooc: Did everything I use level up too?

"Follow me." Maxwell walks back to his base and shows the person his burned base. "You look like a mage or warlock. With your help, I can rebuild this town and make an amazing base. However, we'll need slave help to build the wall around the base. That is where your slaves come in. The building on the left is for Briefings. The one in the middle is the bunks for the high ranking soldiers only. Then the building on the right is for weapons, armor, and anything else that needs to be stored. We can rebuild the rest of this town for whatever we want. If you want to put something in the building on the right, go ahead and do so. However, I need a sign that I can trust you."

[Aura]

Yes, go ahead and edit that in.

"I am interested. And yes, when I was alive, I was a powerful warlock. I need to find the man who slayed me so I can regain my body, thus regaining my power."

[Pontus]

"Well do you know what he looks like or where he might be? If you do not, would you mind helping me rebuild my base and gain members? We should find another town to gather people from."

[Aura]

"Wait here." The spirit dives into the well. "These souls will make a nice collection to my army." Maxwell sees a bright flash as the bodies dissappear.

A few hours later, the ghost comes up from the well. "I found a town beyond those mountains. Let's go."

[Pontus]

"Okay, it shouldn't take long to reach the town unless we run into some trouble. What was your name again? And is there also a way to have a spell that transports people back here?"

They head off towards the town.

[Aura]

"My name is Olero. Now, let's get there quickly. I can make a magical teleport mark right here." Olero floats over and creates an orb of soft white light.

You are the only person who now knows anything about Olero! I'll make a thread explaining his past later.

[Pontus]

"Okay, let's get going on our way to the next town."

[Aura]

The walk up the mountain was uneventful. However, on the way down, Maxwell picked up a sapphire necklace.

[Pontus]

The two reached the town and walked in. "You go to the weapon's shop and buy as many weapons for our armory as you can. I'll go to the bar and look for new recruits," Maxwell said.

They split up and Maxwell opens the door to the bar.

[Aura]

Maxwell opens the door and sees lots of drunk fat people. However, he sees a young woman with a large sword leaning against the wall. She looks strong and dangerous.

[Pontus]

Maxwell walks up to the woman and stands in front of her.

"What do you want?"

"Your services."

"I'm not a hooker you scum bag."

"I meant as a fighter. You look strong and I'm currently starting a Mercenary group. One of my men is buying weapons. I'm looking for followers."

Meanwhile, Olero walks into the weapons shop and up to the counter. "What weapons do you have for sale?"

[Aura]

5000.

"Fine. But don't try anything with me. Where is your base?"

Olero walked in and started putting things into his ghostly body without anybody noticing.

[Pontus]

"My base is just over the mountains but we have a warlock who will teleport us there. What is your name? And lets go meet up with him."

Maxwell and ??? wait outside the weapons shop for Olero.

[Aura]

"My name is Crith. Yours is...?"

[Pontus]

"The name is Maxwell. Crith...that is an interesting name. Now to find Olero."

They wait outside some more(have him come out now).

[Aura]

Olero floats outside. "No idea what we have, but we should head back. Grenduios Malkius!"

[Pontus]

Maxwell leads Crith and Olero to the armory room and they start unloading the goods.

What do we have?


ooc: I'm going to the pool so after we unload everything, we can go and show Crith our other two buildings and start getting them ready for more members.

[Aura]

Acquired three steel warhammers, six iron spears, two brass daggers, and a steel battleaxe.

[Pontus]

"Hmm, this is perfect. I'll take one of the Brass Daggers," Maxwell said, "Now follow me to our other two buildings."

Maxwell leads them to the other two buildings and shows Crith around.

Now what?

ooc: What ever happened to that man's armor and sword? I want them.

Acquired Steel Armor and Cobalt Katana!

You put all your weapons into your armory. Now to get some pawns.

[Pontus]

Maxwell straps the armor on (Lvl 1) and puts the Cobalt Katana in the armory. "Follow me."

He walks out into the forest and sees a small camp fire. He moves closer to investigate and see if it is a person worthy to join.

[Aura]

Nothing but a fire and a tent there...

[Pontus]

"Maybe the person is out hunting or looking for something else. Crith, you go search that tent while Olero and I search the surrounding area for someone."

[Aura]

Maxwell and Olero go walking in the woods. Suddenly, Maxwell hears Crith scream. He runs back and into the tent. There is a dead body on the floor.

[Pontus]

"Oh sh!t, I hope that isn't crith." Maxwell rolls the body over and looks at the face.

[Aura]

"It's not me, moron." Crith sits up. She was in the back. "I saw the guy, then I saw all of these..." She points to a group of knives and other cutting devices. "Notice how that guy has no face?"

I haven't seen you around GWIT. Why not?

[Pontus]

ooc: I read everything, just don't post.

"Phew. Grab those knives and other sh!t and search the body for anything useful. Was he dead when you found him or did you kill him?

[Aura]

You pick up the items, but find nothing useful on the body. Although the body is female...and she had a small katana in her robe...

Maybe Olero can revive her for you?

Maxwell stoops down and takes the robe, retrieving the katana. "Hey Olero, mind reviving her for us?"

[Aura]

Acquired Steel Claymore

Olero puts his hand over the body and slowly chants to himself. The body rised and regains a face. As her eyes open, she yells "I am not going to die!" She punches Maxwell across the face. She shakes her head and stares at him. "What the..."

[Pontus]

"Crith, restrain her just incase," turns to the woman, "Now... Why are you here?"

ooc: What is up with you and katanas, lol. There are different types of swords, you know.

[Aura]

OOC: Fixed. Katana's are cool swords! However, the only swords I know about are sword, katana, and claymore. Got any others?

Crith grabs the person as the lady responds. On closer inspection, she looks like she is only seven. "I came here looking for my daddy. I took his sword to rpotect me. He came to cut wood so we could be warm and have a fire. He didn't come back for three days, so I came looking for him. I saw him inside this tent, so I came inside. He had red eyes. He started cutting me...and..." She starts crying severly.

OOC2: I try to mix emotion in with RP's in Illuyad. I like evoking emotion in the readers.

ooc: Claymore is a long, two handed sword. Shortsword, Longsword, Claymore, Katana, Dagger. And then there is Mace, Battle Axe(big, two hanged, double sided), War Axe, (Small, one sided), War Hammer, etc.


"That's horrible... Olero! Go search for this girl's father or the man that killed her. It's going to be alright, we'll find this man and kill him for you." The girl continues to cry until Maxwell drops to one knee, looks her in the eye, pats her on the back, and grins. She stops crying and manages a forced smile in return.

[Aura]

OOC: I know about those weapons. I meant if there was something I was missing...flamberge?

"No, Olero. I'll go." Crith withdrew a large wooden staff that had been hidden beneath her cape. "I know you from somewhere." Crith raced out the door.

[Pontus]

Maxwell and Olero wait while comforting the girl.

ooc: Claymore is a very very big weapon. No way this girl was holding one.

[Aura]

OOC: More dragging the sword...

Multiple yells were heard outside the tent. "Maxwell, I found the guy. This guy has really scary red eyes!"

[Pontus]

Maxwell storms out of the tent with Olero right behind him. He spots the man and knocks him to the ground. Holing him down with a foot and a sword at the throat. "You better have a damn good explanation."

[Aura]

The man screeches and transforms into a large black dragon. He runs forward and slashes at Maxwell.

OOC: You are aware it is midnight, correct?

[Pontus]

ooc: What level is this dragon? And no, I didn't know that.

"How about you join us on our quest for glory, riches, and power. We will rule everything. If you deny, We will kill you."

[Aura]

OOC: Yep. Pure midnight!


The demon roars and unleashes a flaming breath toward Maxwell.

[Pontus]

"Well I'll take that as a no. Prepare to die, bastard."

ooc: What level is he!? And I can't write until later because it'll actually take effort to kill a big dragon.
