Haven't the Ace Combat Series and Twisted Metal Series forums been experimented already? And what is the Conquer Online one about?

Yes, they have. And Pets was also a forum a couple of years ago, but died of inactivity. We decided to give them another shot due to requests and/or new games.
Conquer Online is ... an online game. I really don't know a whole lot about it, personally.
Quite frankly with the new system we have we've gone through the whole list and aren't getting a lot of good new suggestions.

Nice to see science got through. Any ideas who will be modding it eventually?

The Dragon Quest Forum has already got a mod, so I guess whoever voluteers in the mod only forum first will get to mod the Science Forum. So in otherwords, first come first serve :P

What's gamer school about? Sounds interesting, but vague.

I initially disliked the idea of all the new experimentals...but I didn't realise the purpose of Pets...now I really enjoy that place :D

Can someone please explain what 'Pets' is? I hear about it all the time and am curious...

A forum, honey. One that even has a link leading to in the first post.

You could probably make an educated guess.

What's gamer school about? Sounds interesting, but vague. It was idea that someone came up with to do with helping people improve at playing computer games in a more general sense. Unfortunately, as of last night, the member that suggested it is yet to actually post in it so we're all in the dark a bit.

I went back, and some posts have been made, so I can see what the general idea is. Hard to say how successful it'll be, seems like quite a broad topic for discussion. I'll stay tuned. ;)

Well I just PMed the guy who came up with it, to let him know that his input would be appreciated. I can see some potential poking out here and there, but at the moment it's just lacking structure of any kind.

Um...not to be bragging or demanding credit, but a while back I suggested Twisted Metal, and I posted on the Twisted Metal forum about this exact same question, was it because of me that GW decided to put it in experimental? It's been driving me crazy that no one's answered me.

Yes, I think it was your suggestion from which the forum was made.

When are these experimentals over?

Talk about a bump...from experience they generally run from one to three months a round, to a give them a decent run before a decision is made on whether they pass to a 'full time' forum or not
