I'll start in Kanto please.

You wake up to the sound of the birds and look at your alarm clock. 10:00?!?! You forgot to set your alarm and now you're gonna be late. You quickly throw clothes on and run outside. You see a crowd of people walking away from a house down the block. You run pass the crowd into the house.

You: Professor!! Can I have my Pokemon?

Professor: Hmmm... I do have one left... ok, you can have it...

You: Yes!! Thank you so much Professor!!

You take your Pokemon and run outside in excitement. You bump into another trainer.

Steve: It's about time you showed up. And judging by your Pokemon, the Professor didn't have anything else...

You: Don't talk about my Pokemon like that!!

Steve: Make me. Go, Aron (Make Lv. 5)!!

[Jaguar Love]

Donny: Allright then I will, go Pichu (lv.5)!

Donny sent Pichu out to face Aron.

Donny: Okay Pichu use thundershock!

[RipTide]

Pichu squeeks and sparks, letting loose a powerful thundershock attack. Aron takes the hit as the electricity rattles across his metalic body. Aron shakes it off and takes little damage! Pichu is in shock and forgets to move when Aron rams him with a tackle attack.

[Jaguar Love]

Donny: Oh no!

Pichu gets to his feet and looks determined to get back in the match.

Donny: Okay Pichu stand in front of that tree, and wait for it to use tackle, then when it runs at you jump out of the way and it'll hit the tree!

[RipTide]

Pichu backs up against a tree and Aron starts to charge. Pichu jumps out of the way and Aron nails the tree, but its strength and steel body knock the tree over! Aron took little to no damage!

[Jaguar Love]

Donny: Aaargh! I thought that'd work for sure! Okay try using charm then jump on it's back and use another thundershock!

[RipTide]

Aron turns from the tree and starts running straight at Pichu. Pichu uses charm and Aron trips out of distraction. His none-metalic underbelly is in the open and Pichu takes the opportunity to use thundershock. The electric attack does huge damage as it enters Aron's body and rattles around its steel plates. Aron gets up, and is still full of energy and power.

[Jaguar Love]

Donny: Yes! Good job Pichu! Now try using thundershock again, then when it's shaking it off use thundershock on it's belly!

[RipTide]

Pichu uses thundershock but Aron runs right through it and lands a devastating tackle. Pichu tumbles and tries another thundershock, but it merely bounces off of Arons head.

[Jaguar Love]

Donny: No! Okay he's bound to try another tackle, right!

Pichu nods in agreement after dusting himself off.

Donny: So....just wait until it runs at you then grabs it's belly and thundershock away!

[RipTide]

Aron charges in with another tackle and Pichu jumps up, then grabs on! Aron is running very fast and Pichu just holds on for dear life. Aron starts bucking and Pichu gets angry, unleashing a thundershock attack. At such a close range, some of the electricity penetrated Aron's steel-shell, doing some good damage.

[Jaguar Love]

Donny: Oh yeah! Nice work Pichu! Try for charm again and then when it's distracted hit it with a thundershock!

[RipTide]

Aron shakes Pichu loose and then tackles it hard. It goes in for another but Pichu looks up and uses charm. Aron stops dead in its tracks and cant decide whether to hit Pichu or not. Pichu takes the momentary halt in the battle to use thundershock. The attack was aimed low and sparks are able to graze Arons belly, doing good damage. Aron gets angry and charges, Pichu dodges and uses tundershock on Arons backside, sending him hurtling into the knocked down tree.

Aron looks tired....

Donny: Yes! Hit another thundershock while it's on the ground!

[RipTide]

Pichu uses thundershock but Aron jumps into the fallen branches, protecting it from the blast. But suddenly the branches catch on fire from the electrical attack! Fire is super effective against steel types and Aron comes out of the tree in utter pain! Pichu thundershocks it while its freaking out, knocking it to the ground.

FINISH ARON!

Donny: Okay Pichu Let's finish this! While he's down use your most powerful thundershock!

[RipTide]

Aron tries to raise itself off the ground but is sent flying by another powerful blast of thundershock. Aron is KO'd before it hits the ground.

Steve:Awww man! That had'ta be a fluke! My pokemon is way cooler than yours. Whatever, man. I'm heading out on my pokemon journey... smell'ya later!

As Steve leaves he drops $200!! Lucky you!

Mom: Oh, hello dear. You're what? Leaving me for a pokemon journey, aren't you?! You don't even need to say it, I can see it written all over your face...

Mom: Well, well, I know you'll be fine. Hunny, I hope you become the greatest pokemon trainer alive! Have this, I bought it last time I went to Goldenrod in Jhoto...

Hooray! Your pokemon journey has begun! You wave goodbye to your hometown Palet and head out towards Viridian City.

As you head out you hear footsteps behind you. Oh man! It's the professor running to catch up to you!

Oak: Donny! *pant pant* You- *pant* Erm, *cough* Excuse me. Donny, you left without talking to me! Here is your poke'dex. Now, just so you know, Viridian is the city closest to here. Train hard and get ready. If you plan on beating the gym leader there you'll need a good squad. If I remember correctly, the gym type is Ground. Good luck!

He turns and leaves. You are now alone on the route heading north to Viridian! You decide to look for pokemon... You come across a large ledge that you can't get over, so you follow it and look for a way up. You see a climbable rock formation, but below it is tall grass. And right beyond that is the edge of the beautiful ocean! There must be pokemon around here somewhere... where do you want to look?

I'll go to the edge of the beautiful ocean please.

You arrive at the waters edge and let the sun warm you. The wind picks up and blows your hat off. It lands acouple yards away, but when you go to try and pick it up, it moves!

-->Leave it! It's too scary! I mean c'mon, a moving hat!?

You pick up the hat and OUCH! A Krabby just pinched you! The crab pokemon backs away and pinchers its claws together menacingly.

There are sure to be other pokemon around if you don't want this one...

You begin walking away from Krabby and it it gets very angry. Suddenly it glows and unleashes a beam of ice at your feet! You turn around and watch it disappear into the water. Darn, you missed a chance at a supe'd up Krabby with icebeam...

You sigh is frustration and continue along the shore. Hm... not much going on around here. You hear splashing and see two pokemon duking it out in the water. It's a carvanha and tentacool!

Hmmm, go after one?
Or go back towads the grass?

OOC: Go back towards the grass

Donny: Darn, that Krabby was awesome, guess I'll just go look in the grass

[RipTide]

You walk back up the beach and soon the sounds of the water pokemon battle behind you fades into the distance.

You reach the grass you saw before and begin looking. Nothing much seems to be going on. You start to head out of the grass when something brushes against your leg. Hmm... wonder what it was?

Suddenly it zooms by again and comes into a clearing so you can see it. It's a Tangela! Wow.. it's moving at miraculous speed. The sun must have something to do with it...

Battle tangela?
Or move on and keep looking?
Look for trainers?
Go towards Viridian?

Without any other choice of pokemon, you send out Pichu...

Because you forgot to make any commands, Tangela rushes in with constrict, crushing Pichu with its powerful vines.

Donny: Aaargh! Pichu use a thundershock on the vines, then when it lets go use thundershock again!

[RipTide]

Pichu sends a jolt of electricity along Tangela's vines. At such close range the attack does BIG damage! Pichu tries another thundershock after Tangela lets go, but Tangela runs and dodges. Pichu tries to run in close and use another thundershock but suddenly Tangela lets loose a blue powder. Pichu evades it, but doesn't know what it is....

[Jaguar Love]

Donny: Wierd, what is that?

Pichu looks puzzled

Donny: Never mind that! Pichu use your charm attack, then when it's distracted hit it with another thunderbolt!

[RipTide]

Pichu is confused by the thunderbolt command, because it doesn't know the attack.... But it uses charm on Tangela, which doesn't do anything but make it stop and stare at Pichu. Tangela rushes in and uses contrict, but charm had done its trick and lowered Tangela's attack power.... Tangela, in a confused panic, unleashes another cloud of blue pollen.. this time, it covered Pichu who could do nothing but look on in fear until suddenly it was on the ground sleeping!

Tangela learns sleep powder at level 4! Oh no!

Donny: Pichu! Wake up! Wake up!

Pichu was having a rather nice sleep, while it should have been battling. Donny bent down and picked Pichu up, he began to tickle the pokemon's sensitive ears, and sure enough Pichu woke up.

Donny: Oh yeah! Now get in there and use a super powered thundershock!

[RipTide]

Um... you can't decide whether or not a pokemon wakes up. You can only call out demands and make your PERSON do actions... If you would have said that you went ove and tickled Pichu I would have most likely had Pichu wake up... but because you did it yourself you need to have some kind of consequence..... =P

Pichu is still asleep and does nothing.... Tangela rushes over next to it and bats Pichu with its powerful vines for good damage.

Donny walks over to Pichu and begins to tickle it's sensitive ears.

Donny: C'mon wake up

[RipTide]

To your surprise, the tickling works! Pichu wakes up and glares at Tangela, wanting revenge for that tricky sleep powder. Tangela shakes its body and unleases another cloud of blue power, but Pichu dodges and uses thundershock, knocking Tangela back a few yards. Tangela looks very weak, but suddenly it gains energy! You notice its legs are suddenly in the ground, Tangela is using Ingrain!

[Jaguar Love]

Donny: That is one smart Tangela, but it's no match for us, right Pichu! Get in there and use your charm to get it's roots out of the ground, then thundershock it with your most powerful thundershock!

[RipTide]

Pichu uses charm, which does not get Tangela out of the ground, but does lower its attack. Looks like Tangela is stuck in the ground for the rest of the match! Pichu uses thundershock at the now very vulnerable Tangela for good damage. Looks like it is going to be a race between Tangela absorbing energy, and Pichu cutting away at its energy!

[Jaguar Love]

Donny: Hehehehe! We got this one down! Keep using your thundershock, Pichu!

[RipTide]

Tangela gets pumped up with anger when it hears your comment and lashes out with massive vines, constricting and crushing Pichu. It lets go before Pichu uses thundershock, and tries to block the attack by curling up into a ball. The thundershock hits, but doesn't do much damage.

[Jaguar Love]

Donny: Aaargh! Okay Pichu get in there and use a powerful thundershock! Then use another thundershock!

[RipTide]

Pichu rushes in and Tangela does not see the attack coming. Pichu lays a heavy duty thundershock on Tangela that is powerful enough to blow it right out of the ground! Tangela tries to get up, but can't.

FINISH TANGELA!

Donny: Finish it off with another thundershock, Pichu!

[RipTide]

Tangela rises up but Pichu lays down the law with another bolt of electricity. Tangela is KO'd.

You head to Viridian but the sun begins to set before you can reach it. You decide to trudge on because you can see the city lights in the distance.

Finally you reach the city border, but suddenly the buhses to your right start to rattle. A flock of Zubat come flying out with a trainer close behind.

Boy: Get back here you!

He trips and falls as the Zubat fly off. You start to laugh.

BoY: Hey, kid. Don't laugh at me. It's not very nice!

He lifts himself off the ground and wipes dirt from his face.

Boy: I almost had those suckers. I'm really into flying pokemon. My name is Skyler. Care for a match?

Donny: Sure, let's go!

Donny grabs a pokeball from his belt

Donny: Go....Tangela!

Donny tosses the pokeball and Tangela appears

[RipTide]

Skyler:A GRASS pokemon? I told you I was a flying trainer. Well... if you're that confident in your Tangela....

You: I am.

Skyler:Well then. Let's battle. Go, Pigeotto! (Male, Lvl 7)

[Jaguar Love]

Donny: Okay Tangela, use your sleep powder, if that doesn't work try grabbing it with constrict! If it does work, still use constrict!

[RipTide]

Tangela lets out a cloud of sleep powder, but Pigeotto doges around it. It dives in with tackle but Tangela constricts it and smashes it into the ground for HUGE damage; a surprise since its the beginning of the battle.

Skyler: Well, well. I guess this will be tougher than I thought. Let's do this Pigeotto.

[Jaguar Love]

Donny: Tangela try the same again, sleep powder then constrict even if sleep powder doesn't hit! If it hits you use ingrain right away!

[RipTide]

Pidgeotto rushes in with tackle before Tangela can use any attacks. Tangela rise back up, and turns to Pigeotto who is swooping in for another attack. Tangela LETS Pigeotto hit it because as the tackle hits, a puff of blue powder is sent flying into the air by Tangela! Pigeotto sucumbs to the sleep powder and falls out of the sky, landing with a thud on the ground. Tangela begins constricting it as hard as possible.

Donny: Yeah! Good work Tangela! Keep using constrict, don't let it get away!

[RipTide]

Tangela begins constricting as hard as possible and suddenly Pigeotto awakens. It spreads its wings and Tangela is forced to let go. Tangela dives in with another constrict but Pigeotto soars up into the sky.

Skyler:Pigeotto, show them your special move!

Pigeotto stops flying around in circles and begins flapping in one spot. Suddenly it pulls back both its wings and with a violent flap Pigeotto smashes its wings together, sending a sharp wave of air straight at Tangela! The attack, which your pokedex tells you is the Egg Move: Air Cutter, hits Tangela dead on for a devastating super effective hit.

Donny: Oh! Okay use ingrain to regain some energy, then when it flies near sleep powder it and grab it in a constrict!

[RipTide]

Tangela uses ingrain and starts absorbing energy. Skyler snickers happily, realizing that Tangela won't be able to move. Pigeotto rears back and nails Tangela with another air cutter for big damage. It also stays at a far enough distance so that sleep powder won't harm it. Tangela grows desperate and shoots out its massive vines. Surprisingly, Tangela can reach, and nails Pigeotto with its strongest constrict.

[Jaguar Love]

Donny: Haha! Good work Tangela, keep using your constrict! If it gets away hit it with sleep powder then grab it in another constrict!

[RipTide]

Tangela keeps its hold on Pigeotto and tries to real it in. Pigeotto lands on the ground and attempts to backout of the constrict, but Tangela won't let go. Suddenly Pigeotto whips up a cloud of sand, blinding Tangela and giving Pigeotto a chance to escape. As Pigeotto flies back into the sky you can see its wings give out once and awhile due to pain and exhaustion....

Donny: Use ingrain to regain energy, then if it comes close hit it with sleep powder again, then use constrict!

[RipTide]

Just so you know, ingrain is permanent unless the pokemon gets like RIPPED out of the ground. So it's risky.... and Tangela is already ingrained.

Tangela absorbs more and more energy as Pigeotto regains its strength up in the air. Tangela tries a sleep powder, but it doesn't work. Pidgeotto hammers Tangela from a distance with air cutter. Suddenly, the ingrain lets loose as Tangela gets blasted away with another air cutter.

[Jaguar Love]

Donny: Aargh! Ok Tangela you're still doing great, try again with sleep powder, then use constrict to squeeze it tight!

[RipTide]

Pigeotto rushes in with tackle but is sent tumbling to the ground as sleep powder engulfs it. Tangela takes this opportunity to squeeze Pigeotto as tightly as possible with constrict.

Skyler: Oh no!

FINISH PIGEOTTO!

[Jaguar Love]

Donny: Yeah! Finish it Tangela, using your vines slam Pigeotto hard into the ground!

[RipTide]

Tangela slams Pidgeotto with its vineys and constricts it, knocking it out.

Level up +1 for Tangela!

Skyler: Awww man. Return Pigeotto. That was an impressive match, kid. Seriously, I don't get beaten often, let alone by something with a type disadvantage. Congrats... ermm...

You: The name is Donny.

Skyler: Okay, Congrats, Donny. I'm heading outta here. Obviously my Pigeotto needs some training. Especially if I plan on beating Brock. Even if Pigeotto is the weakest of my pokemon, flying is going to be tough to be rock with.

You: Pigeotto is your WEAKEST? O_o And what about Viridian gym, I bet you could battle there.

Skyler: Oh, I already have that badge. My Hoppip laid some pain there. ^_^ Odds are I'll have to use her again in Pewter.. oh well. I hope I meet up again with you someday!

Skyler leaves and you return Tangela.

Hmm... its night time still, but Viridian is upahead. Do what now?

[RipTide]

You head to Viridian and stop by the pokemon center. Nurse Joy sees you coming and urges you to come inside and sleep until morning.

Soon sunlight is flooding through the windows and you decide that its time to get up and going. You thank Nurse Joy for the place to sleep and for healing your pokemon.

You step outside and see trainers playing and fighting, and a lot of shops and stores. It's a beautiful day and the city is bustling.

Head to the gym.

Okeydokey. Please go to the Gym Leader Castle and create a thread called "Donny VS Viridian Leader" (since I'm not sure who the gym leader is. I want this to be the ground gym, but I suppose Giovanni isn't the leader anymore. I'll just create a leader for your battle.)

Then, in the pot, post your character walking into the gym and stating that they want to challenge the leader.

You leave the gym, exhausted, but find that it's still only midafternoon and people are everywhere just enjoying the wonderful weather.

You walk around and talk, but no one really seems to interested in you.

You decide to let Tangela and Pichu out to stretch, and suddenly you become a hot topic.

Girl: Oh look at that tangela!
Girl 2: Yeah, it's so cute!!!
Boy: Whatever, the Pichu is cool.
Girl 3: Oh looky it sparked!
Boy 2: Man I wish I had pokemon like that...

It seems more of the kids are interested, as many of the odler trainers and adults walk by and smirk at your obviously "novice" ranked team. Suddenly one of the kids standing around you that was quiet before starts talking.

Boy: Well... my pokemon are still better....
You: ....?
Boy: Don't give me that look! You wanna battle?! If you beat me, I'll give you something cool. But if I beat you, you gotta fork over half your money.
*All the kids gasp*
Boy: So wuddya say?

Boy: Okay, cool. The name is Gavin. We'll have a one on one match with a two pokemon limit. So if one of your pokemon faints, which it will, you can send out another. Now let's see...

*He looks at his collection of pokeballs*

Gavin: Alright. Go, Nidoran (Male, level 9)

Donny: Pichu go!

Pichu runs from Donny's side and faces off against the Nidoran

Donny: Pichu use your charm, then hit it with thundershock!

[RipTide]

Pichu uses charm and Nidoran instantly stops in its tracks, blushing. Pichu takes advantage of Nidoran's pause and blasts it with thundershock for good damage. Nidoran rises, and looks ready to fight.

Donny: Hehe, Pichu use thundershock again! Keep that electricity going buddy!

[RipTide]

Pichu tries to thundershock but Nidoran easily dodges and pecks Pichu hard in the face. Pichu stumbles backwards and shocks itself!

Donny: Darn! Okay Pichu hide behind that box there and then when Nidoran walks by, jump out and surprise it with a thundershock!

[RipTide]

Pichu stares at you confused. Where on earth is a box!?!? Nidoran dahses in and strikes Pochu hard from behind with peck, hurting it badly.

Yeah when we're on paths you can use trees and stuff, but where on earth did a box come from!?! :P

OOC: Last time I checked we're in Viridian city, cities have boxes lying around everywhere don't they? Unless Viridian isn't like Manchester

Donny: Pichu! Use charm then jump on top of it and use Thundershock!

Pokemon cities always seem to be clean unless its a huge city like Saffron. I could see random boxes if we were in an alley or by a shipyard or something, but we're just in the town square in Viridian, so eh' to the boxes. Nice idea though.

Charm works just like it did before and Nidoran stops in the middle of its attack, confused by Pichu's charm. Pichu nails it hard with thundershock and Nidoran gets very angry. It runs in and tries to peck, but Pichu dodges and in Nidorans fury it hurts itself.
