Well, then. As the round 1 vote starts, we announce the round 2 theme and restrictions.

It's now time for the theme I know I will like best, the no stock image freestyle.

The competitors will receive points according to their placement in each round.
10 points for 1st, 7 for 2nd, 4 for 3rd, 2 for 4th and 1 for 5th.
You can not enter with anything that you have shown here before.
Your entry must be your original work.

Each round will last for one week, plus four days for voting.

Maximum 500x160 pixels.
Maximum 25600 bytes / 25 Kilobytes.
No stock image or "render" allowed.

100% freestyle, minus a stock image. Do whatever you want as long as you make it all yourself. Brushing is allowed, of course.

Shouldn't there technically be no brushing (downloaded brushes) allowed in this round, since that's using something you didn't make? I think that might disqualify a few people already...

Touche. Personally, I don't think there's a problem using downloaded brushes. If you're good enough to make and use your own, cool, just don't expect everyone else to be able to (read: me).

Argh, I'm sure I replied to this, but it doesn't look like it now...


Technically, brushes shouldn't be allowed, and neither should any fonts you haven't made yourself, but we're allowing that.

Hombre, just so you know, there is a filesize limit for this round...

...why? That really doesn't make any sense...

We don't actually have to use it as our sig, so why should the filesize have to be the same as the signature size limit?

This whole contest is starting to piss me off...
