There are a few more moderators who are in the firing line, too.

I'm 98% sure that this isn't the first time he's been demodded for inactivity, so there's basically no reason why he'd be allowed another shot.

If he is nominated he could be. That happened with Chris, I believe it was him, that he used to mod POK and Religion, left, then came back, whence Julz nominated him for mod and he became mod again.

There's a difference between leaving, and being removed, Behas.
That's why people who've been dishonorably discharged don't get put into the ex-mods usergroup (a usergroup that retains the ability to edit their own posts wherever they are.)

then these two has been removed and not leaved , so they will not return to be a mod in any way whatsoever ???

If JungleJane showed up and explained that she'd had a family crisis, or her computer just plum blew up, then we might consider letting her return.
Going on the basis that this isn't the first time it's happened to Realm, including what I know of his actual moderating, I personally wouldn't even contemplate letting him back. I don't know about my co-admins, though.

Sad to see more mods go. They should just post a LOA so this doesn't happen.

LOA's are not a safety net, they're only good for so long, and people have been demodded for taking too long to come back, though its more lenient when dealing with them should they eventually come back

At the end of the day, we appreciate that people have lives outside of this site, and indeed they should always be the priority, but as moderators of this site they have responsibilities here as well. One post explaining why you're going to be absent is a small ask. And to be fair, if they are inactive enough to be caught by this check they should have the dignity to resign as moderators before they are forceably removed.

Hmm... You know, I have never seen the JungleJane person. Not ever. Not in the moderator forums or outside them. Did she ever crawl out of the Zelda forums?

I think she posted in the moderator forum maybe once just after she was modded. Perhaps in CnS. It really was literally once or twice though, if at all. I don't remember seeing her post anywhere outside of the forum she moderated.

Agreed, I've never seen of heard of JungleJane until this thread, but then again, there are quite a few moderators I haven't heard of until recently...

I've only seen her name when I've sent out mod newsletters or when we've had a mod check-in. Otherwise she didn't get involved in anything that I know of.

She's been a mod since at least 2004, because I remember seeing her name back before I was a smod, but she never got involved in anything enough for me to take any special interest in her.

Yeah, she's been a mod for a long time really. Kind of fitting/ironic in a way - quiet as a mod, just left/faded out without a word either.
