You wake up to the sound of the birds and look at your alarm clock. 10:00?!?! You forgot to set your alarm and now you're gonna be late. You quickly throw clothes on and run outside. You see a crowd of people walking away from a house down the block. You run pass the crowd into the house.

You: Professor!! Can I have my Pokemon?

Professor: Hmmm... I do have one left... ok, you can have it...

You: Yes!! Thank you so much Professor!!

You take your Pokemon and run outside in excitement. You bump into another trainer.

Steve: It's about time you showed up. And judging by your Pokemon, the Professor didn't have anything else...

You: Don't talk about my Pokemon like that!!

Steve: Make me. Go, Magnemite (Lv. 5)!!

Me: Go!

I throw out my pokeball not sure what to expect and am quite surprised to see no one else wanted a Squirtle.

Me: Now, tail whip it and then hit it with a tackle Squirtle!

[RipTide]

Squirtle distracts Magnemite with a tail whip attack and then dashes in at surprising speed with tackle. Right before making contact Magnemite comes back to reality and lets loose a screeching noise. Squirtle trips and falls as he looses focus from the Metal Sound attack. Magnemite stops the irritating buzz and nails Squirtle with a tackle.

Me: Hmm, right, tackle it Squirtle and if it looks like it's going to do another screech cover your ears and tackle it!

[RipTide]

Squirtle rushes in for another Tackle attack, covering its ears as it runs. It smacks into Magnemite for some good damage, but Magnemite's steel body is too hard to be hurt very badly by tackle.

Squirtle: Right, Squirtle, cover your ears again and tail whip, then dodgoe, tail whip again and dodge, then tackle it!

Squirtle rushes in with the tail whip - tackle combo you ordered. He lays acouple attacks, but not much damage is being done, eve with Magnemite's defense lowered by tailwhip. Magnemite charges with two back-to-back tackles for some good damage on Squirtle.

Hm... maybe using some of the surrounding environment could help squirtle out....

Me: Hmm, this isn't working. Steel doesn't bode well for normal attacks. I know, try another tail whip and then try and tackle it into the ground from above!

By surrounding environment I mean get creative, tell Squirtle to uses rocks on the ground or climb a tree or hide in a nearby bush or something. Don't just use the same attacks, make them use them in a variety of ways.

Squirtle continues its predictable pattern of attacks and Magnemite keeps tackling back. Finally, Magnemite dives in for tackle and Squirtle jumps up and tackles Magnemite from above for some good damage.

I look around whilst Magnemite starts to float up again to see what's around, not a lot. I spot the prof's house.

Me: Squirtle, run behind the house, try and lose magnemite, then hit it with a tackle.

Nah, I don't want the list. If I see it, I'll be biased in my pokemon choices for your 'dex.

Squirtle hides behind the house and dives into a bush. Magnemite follows and searches for its target. Squirtle jumps out of the bush and hits Magnemite for a surprise tackle from behind. Squirtle lands and runs back into the bush to hide. Magnemite catches a glimpse of Squirtle and decides to lure it out... Mag uses metal sound and Squirtle comes running out, covering its ears. Magnemite nails it with tackle.

Me: Cheeky, hmm...ok Squirtle, tackle, dodge, tackle, dodge , tail whip and then dart around in thos trees, see if you can lose him.

Squirtle rushes in with a tackle an hits magnemite hard. Mag goes for a tackle of its own, but Squirtle dodges and tackles right back! Magnemite gets angry and starts heading for Squirtle, but the water pokemon simply whips its tail and Magnemite looses focus. Squirtle turns and takes off towards a group of trees, dodging and running and looking for a place to hide. Magnemite follows, but can't find Squirtle....

Me: Good, should be harder for that Magnemite to move now. NOW SQUIRTLE! Tail whip it into a tree and then tackle...then come back here, ok.

[RipTide]

Squirtle jumps into the air and whips Magnemite into a tree, damaging its magnets for good damage. Magnemite falls to the ground and Squirtle tackles, but misses and hits the tree. Magnemite is still a little stunned, so Squirtle tackles it for minimal damage and then runs back to Ross.

Me: Nice work Squirtle, but it's not over yet. When you see it again do a tackle, tail whip, tackle combo!

[RipTide]

Magnemite comes chasing after Squirtle and the water pokemon meets it half way with a runnin tackle. Magnemite is tossed backwards, but counters with its own diving tackle. Squirtle whips with its tail, lowering Magnemites defenses even lower. Squirtle dives towards Magnemite with another tackle, devastating it with massive damage.

FINISH MAGNEMITE!

Me: Right, if it dives at you again Squirtle dodge it, then tackle it and follow up with another tail whip if it's still not down and then tackle it into the ground following a jump!

[RipTide]

Squirtle waits for Magnemite to attack... but it doesnt.... suddenly it unleashes metal sound and Squirtle retreats into its shell. Magnemite falls for Squirtle's trick and dives down with tackle. Squirtle rolls to the side and then tackles Magnemite, causing it to faint.

LEVEL UP for Squirtle

Steve:Wah!? Oh whatever, my pokemon is still stonger than yours. I'll see you later and take you down. See ya later!

As Steve walks away he drops $200. Lucky you!

*Tv Announcer*: --seems so Mary, but that's not the only problem. Along with the escape of the Team Rocket member from the scene of the crime, it turns out he stole a pokemon from one of the Pokemart customers; a rookie trainer with a rare pokemon to be exact. The Rocket is said to be somewhere between Viridian, Pallet, and the Pokemon League Entrance Center. This has been Tom Atoe Reporting live from the Viridian City Pokemart. Back to you Mary...

Mom: Sorry, dear. I needed to hear that report. Now what were you going to say?
You: I'm heading out on a pokemon journey, mom. ^_^
Mom:Oh that's wonderful, hunny. I'm sure you'll do great. Just be careful. I'll miss you so much. Here, have these for your journey.

Lets head on up to Viridian.

You step onto Route 1 and smile as you realizes what just happened: You just took your first step on your pokemon journey! Hooray!

You begin walking, enjoying the beautiful whether. You pass a few pokemon: Pidgey, Caterpie, and even a Ledyba. You are deciding whether to try and capture one or the other, when suddenly a huge explosion goes off right past a group of trees not even 100 meters away!

Hm... that wasn't really a choice... But I can work it.

You see a Pidgey in an open spot in the forest, and begin crouching towards it. Suddenly the explosion comes nearer and all the pokemon around scatter and run!

You turn in anger and see a man rushing toward you. You recognize him as the man wanted as a burglar.

Bad Guy: Outta my way, kid!

Suddenly two police officers appear behind him from the woods. The burglar turns to them and tosses out a pokeball.

Bad Guy: Let's see if this stolen pokemon is any good!

An extremely rare pokemon from Hoenn suddenly appears. You pull out your 'dex and find out it's a Chimecho! The Chimecho lets out giant psychic waves that strike the police officers, putting them to sleep.

Bad Guy: Get in there with that other egg move you know, Dream eater, and make them PAY!

The Chimecho doesn't want to do it, but does it out of fear. It obviously misses its real trainer.

Stop the burglar?
Run away?

Me: That pokemon seems stronger than my Squirtle, but it's not yours!

Challenge him!

Squirtle comes out of its pokeball and readies itself for battle.

Bad Guy:Oh come on. You lil' brat. Can't just let me get away, can you? Go Chimecho! (Female, Lvl 6)

OOC: last I knew only Hoenn pokemon appreaed in Hoenn, Johot pokemon appeared in Hoenn and Johto and Kanto Pokemon appeared all over...but that's just me :), before you say it, I know it's a caught pokemon so it could've gotten to Kanto. :D


Me: People like you don't deserve to get away! Tail whip and then tackle that...BURGLAR!

In th RPGS we play pokemon can appear basically anywhere. For example, you know the Cave on Dewford Island in Hoenn? I just found a Swinub there in my game. Swinub (according to the electronic games) don't appear in that cave, or even Hoenn at all! We place pokemon here where you would expect to find them. For example, when you get to Viridian Forest which is full of bugs you'll find not only caterpie and weedle (+ evolutions) but probably Spinarak, Ledyba, Wurmple, and maybe some even rarer pokemon like Yanma and Scyther. So yes, I know what your saying, but that's only in electronic games. And they just do that so you can't catch all the pokemon therefore you need to buy ALL the games so that you can trade. :P

Squirtle uses tailwhip to lower Chimecho's defense, but then turns and runs in at the Burglar.

Bad Guy: Chimecho, block it!!!

Chimecho doesn't listen and Squirtle ends up tackling the Burglar hard. The Burglar rises and kicks squirtle VERY hard.

Bad Guy: Don't be stupid kid. This is a pokemon battle. I'll kill that turtle if I have to.

Me: Chimecho, you don't have to listen to that man, you can attack him, he's not your trainer! Squirtle, again, tail whip the Chime and tackle the Burglar, but only after dodging around it some times.

The shows were produced in order of the creation of pokemon, so there was no way to have a spinarak in Kanto. Stop arguing with me it's starting to bother me, even if it is just joking around.

Chimecho doesn't trust you, and just cower away in fear. Squirtle tail whips it and Chimecho doesn't like that. It rushes in and wraps Squirtle, trapping the turtle pokemon from moving anywhere.

Bad Guy:Even if it doesn't trust me, it doesn't trust you either!

OOC: Well they even said it in the shows. Plus this isn't arguing, it's a discusion, know the difference ;), but this could work in my advantage I guess.


Me: Maybe so, but I doubt it'll stay with you for long. SQUIRTLE! Wriggle free of the wrap move and then tial whip that pokeball away from the burglar! Then try and chase him away and also try and convince that Chimecho that we're it's friends!

Squirtle tries to wiggle away, but can't. Chimecho can feel Squirtle moving, so it puts it to sleep with Hypnosis.

Cannibal3rd, you can find pokemon where you would normally expect it. Riptide is right in the fact that in this RPG, you can find pokemon where you would expect to find them. You can't really trust the show as to where pokemon can be found. There is no way they could just miss a couple hundred types of pokemon then all of a sudden "discover" them. You also have to realize Riptide has to do other pokedexes and may not have time to bother answering questions or have "discussions."

Riptide, don't tell Cannibal3rd to shut up. I realize he's agrivating you, but you don't have to tell him to shut up and tell him he's annoying.

Me: Grr, Chimecho stop. Who was the one who stole you and who is the one trying to get you back to your trainer! Think about it, you're doing bad and I'm sure your trainer wouldn't like it!

Chimecho is utterly confused as to who to trust and starts panicing.

All of a sudden a humongous spiderweb entraps the burglar. You look behind him and noticed the two police officers wide awake. There are two officer Jennys. One with a Growlithe by her side, the other with an Ariados.

Jenny 1:Good work Ariados.
Bad Guy:Darn it! My plan is foiled!
Jenny 2:Thank you trainer for stalling him. We can't thank you enough.

Suddenly a young girl appears from the forest path leading to town, her eyes are drenched with tears, but she begins smiling as soon as she sees her Chimecho.

Girl: Chimecho! You're okay!

The two friends reunite as you return your Squirtle (Level Up for being a good guy ^_^)

Girl:My name is Juno. Thank you so much for saving my pokemon. Please, pleeease take this.

$200 obtained.

Juno:Thank you officers for helping me.

The officers say their goodbyes and haul the burglar off to jail.

Juno:Hey, thanks again. How about a friendly battle? I have other pokemon you know.

...I feel my bag moving and when I open the egg I have been carrying starts to move. I take it out and place it on the ground and almost as soon as I let go of it, it bursts into flames. Both Juno and I shield are eyes from the light and when we look back, sat in the scorched area is a cute looking Cyndaquil.

Me: What the?

I pull out my pokedex and it does the usual banter.

Me: Cool, well atleast I don't have to puzzle about what was in that egg anymore.

Juno: Where did you get it?

Me: I got it as a present from my dad...where ever he is. Well, it's getting dark, we better find somewhere to rest up for tomorrow.



OOC: Sorry if it's not allowed, but I do that in the other RPG (DBZ, Pokemon, Final Fanatsy), just don't like the idea of pokemon appearing in my collection :)

Also, added a few links to the first post for the looks or characters. Got bored, you know. They will change as I prefer to use my own stuff rather than something someone else has made...so they'll get edited in some way, shape or form. I know you probably care about || much, but hey, I'm bored. How do you picture Juno BTW? I see a brown haired version of the pic I got.

The moon is out completely now and the hums and chirps of various pokemon can be heard in the woods.

Juno:It sure is scary out....
You:Don't worry. Viridian should be up ahead.

You walk for what seems like an hour but there is still no sign of Viridian. Suddenly you notice a grouping of trees and rocks that looks oddly familiar. Uh oh. It seems like your lost. Or are you? Both of you realize you're not any more tired than you were an hour ago, and that the moon is in the same exact place it was. You're stuck in some kind of an illusion!

Juno:Oh my god. What is going on. It must be some kind of ghost pokemon.

Suddenly the two of you hear laughter and the illusion fades, you're both right on the outskirts of Viridian, and the moon has moved quite far. With a popping noise and a sudden burst of purple smoke, a ghastly and a shuppet appear before you.

Do what?

Me: Ghost pokemon?! I know gastly are weak against more attacks than a normal ghost, but that other one I've never seen before.

Juno: It's a Shuppet from what my daddy told me.

Me: Well...do we battle them or leave them be?

Juno: They're scary looking, lets leave them alone.

[RipTide]

The two of you walk past the ghost pokemon, and the shreik and moan is saddness as you walk farther and farther away from them.

Well congratulations! You have made it to Viridian City!

Since it's not night time, there are no trainers walking the streets and everything looks boring. You decide to head the pokemon center and rest until morning.

As the sun rises the next day the two of you head out into Viridian. There are loads of people walking around town with their pokemon. There are also a lot of houses, shops, and even a pokemart. Far off in the distance is the pokemon gym, but you realize your pokemon are far too weak to battle even the weakest of gym leaders.

Do what in the town?

Juno: Ooo, ooo, can we go look at that gym please.

You: I dunno, I've had a knagging feeling since last night when we left those two ghosts alone. They either wanted a battle or to be caught. Their cries got to me I guess.

Juno: But they weren't nice looking. They scared me.

Me: Even so, ghost pokemon like that could be an advantage. You know, I'm gonna go look for them again tonight. Maybe try over in those mantains.

Juno: You want to catch both of them?

Me: Greedy I know, but they could be an advantage to me like I said. Maybe I could give one to you...but you don't like them.

Juno: They were creepy. Besides, that's the way to the Indigo Plateau.

Me: Well it's rocky. I'm sure there are some caves up there they might hide in. Maybe some cute looking Nidoran for you Juno.

Juno: Ok, lets go, but if you go into a cave I'm not going.



OOC: Probably should've edited my post before you replied. But...I WANT THOSE GHOST POKEMON NOW! :bawl: I'll understand if you don't allow me to see them again as missed my chance, the fool I was.

You head toward the Plateau with Juno by yourside, but unfortunately, its morning and ghost pokemon will be a rarity even in caves...

When you finall reach the Indigo Plateau Cave entrance its only noon. You still decide to look for alternate cave entrances because this one is off limits; a guard says you need 8 badges to pass.

Finally you find a cave entrance and enter, leaving Juno behind.

Juno:It's okay. I'm going to go train. I'll see you in awhile.

You head in alone, searching for ghost pokemon. You pull out your 'dex to check on what kind of ghosts exist, but as you suspected, as the 'dex tells you about each kind it also says, "Found during the night. Daytime spottings are very rare.".

You search the cave for nearly an hour with your hope dwindling, when suddenly something scratches at your leg. You panic and search for your flashlight, and when you finally find it, you see a Gligar!

[Cannibal3rd]

Me: You're not what I want. If you'd like you can battle my new Cydnaquill? What do ya say...ugh...friendly bat thing?

[RipTide]

You're not going to find any ghosts for awhile... just so you know. It's daytime and will be for awhile. :shrug:

The Gligar is alarmed by your speaking and angered that you entered its territory. It bites your leg and then disappears into the darkness of the cave...

OOC: I realise that, but as I said...well, I might not of, but I'm picky about the pokemon I want. Which is why I was extremely happy when I got the Cyndaquil. Typhlosion is my fav pokemon...EVER!



Me: Hmm, maybe this isn't such a good idea. I better go back and check on Juno, wait until night comes round again. I'm sure I saw a flock of Nidoran on our way here. Maybe Juno would like a female one.

You arrive outside the cave and find Juno standing alone, smiling.

You:What's up?

Juno: I just did some awesome training.

You: Really? What happened?

Juno: Well, I found some trainer, and she challenged me to battle, 2 pokemon each. I beat her so bad! Then, the day got even better and I saw a cute little hoppip. But I decided to leave it alone, my party of pokemon is pretty good for now. I'm gunna hold off on catching pokemon until I find something I really like.

Level up (+1) for Chimecho and Trapinch

Juno: So now what'er we gunna do?

Me: Well I decided that going through that cave was a bad idea. I scared off a Gligar and I didn't really want to see a whole flock of bat pokemon coming at me. I did want to go find that flock of Nidoran I saw earlier.

Juno: Which kind, male or female?

Me: You sure do know your stuff don't you. Well I think it was both kinds.

Juno: I did say my dad was a breeder *big grin* But I thought you wanted to catch both those ghosts?

Me: I do, but I need to wait for nightfall. Plus I got a spare pokeball.

Juno: No you don't. You had three but you used one for your Cyndaquil.

Me: Oh right, hmm, well I'll have to back into town then and get some more. Maybe if we see that Nidoran flock I'll catch myself one. But I'm sure by the time we get back to Viridian, buy my pokeballs and get back here it should be night.

[RipTide]

You and Juno walk back to Viridian and as you travel you notice the clearing with the pack of Nidoran in it is now empty...

After buying some pokeballs (go do it in the PokeMart) you and Juno head back once again. By the time you reach the caves, night is beginning to fall. But both of you are beyond tired and need to rest a moment outside the cave entrances...

Juno: *pant* *pant* Are-- are you sure you're up for battling ghosts?
You: Of course I am!
Juno: Well, okay. There are 3 passages, which one are you taking?

Me: Hmm, eenie, meenie, minie...mo! That path (2).

Juno: Are you suuuure you want to face two ghost pokemon? Out of your two pokemon there is only one damaging attack between them.

Me: Hmm, well if I find something to strengthen my Cyndaquil in...wait, I could use him as a torch couldn't I.

*brings out Cyndaquil*

Me: You mind being our torch Cynda?

Juno: I still don't like this idea.

You: Well who says I'll find two ghosts? The odds of me finding the same two is really unlikely... Besides, we saw those two on the edge of Viridian forest. We're pretty far from there...

Juno: Well. Okay. But I'm coming with you. I'm not letting you get hurt or lost.

You: Okeydokey.

The two of you enter passage two with Cyndaquil as your light. Outside the cave, the sun is nearly gone, and above you in the cave Zubat and Golbat are waking up for their nightly hunting. You search for a long time but no Ghosts seem to be around.

The two of you decide to make camp in the cave forawhile, just to rest. Somehow, the two of you begin to doze off, until suddenly Juno is awakened by something playing with your supplies.

Juno: *whispering:* Oh man. Psssst. Wake up! There's something right next to us!

You: Wah, wah, what? Wow! *Whispering* You're right! Lemme just..

You pull out your pokedex and suddenly the pokemon realizes that you are awake. It hisses as Cyndaquil begins to light the cave again, but all you can see are two shiny stones reflecting the fire.

Poke'dex: Sableye, the darkness pokemon. Sableye lead quiet lives deep inside caverns. They are feared, however, because these Pokémon are thought to steal the spirits of people when their eyes burn with a sinister glow in the Darkness.

Juno: Oh my gosh!!! What are we going to do!?!!?!

Cyndaquil runs at Sableye and tries to tackle, but sails right through it since Sableye is a ghost. Cyndaquil is so surprised that it was unable to tackle, that it forgets to leer, and Sableye hits it a powerful scratch.

OOC: S*it, forgot it was a ghost type. But I don't like Sableye's. Again, I'm really picky...if you put me up against one I like then I'll catch it, but so far you haven't :)...changed my mind after I left the Gastly and Shuppet, but that was too late :(


Me: Stupid Hasty me. Cynda, stop fighting. I won't draw you back into your pokeball as I still need to see. GO, SQUIRTLE! Tail whip it and then hit it with a bubble Squirlte. Just becareful though, it's ghost.

Are you allowed to trade pkmn? Maybe Ross might want something and the other person wants a Sableye. Is that allowed, or am I just spamming? If I am, feel free to report me!

Squirtle heads out into the battle and uses bubble, damaging Sableye. But it doesn't do much, and Sableye just gets angry. It scratches Squirtle and squirtle stumbles back into Cyndaquil, burning itself.

Me: Hmm, this isn't going to be pretty. Maybe a two against one might be better. Cynda, Leer at Sableye and whislt it's guard is down hit it with a tail whip Squirtle. Then run around and Bubble it a few times. Keep up the leering Cynda.

Sableye realizes that this battle is unfair now that its 2 v 2 and hisses at you and runs into the darkness.

You: Hm. Didn't see that coming.

Suddenly you hear pokemon screeches coming from the dark passage Sableye just ran into. Should you go see what it is?

Juno: I don't like those sounds.

Me: They sound like cries of pain...or something of that sort. Lets go see.


OOC: Remember I still got Squirtle out of the pokeball ;)

Juno: Alrighty, let's go!

The two of you head deeper into the cave and the screeching grows louder. Suddenly, when it sounds like the screeches are right next to you, they stop, and suddenly the screeching turns into goulish laughter!

Sableye reappears and eyes you angrily. It seems angry that you tried to battle it 2 v 1.

From the darkness appears another pokemon, but you can't see what it is.

Poke'dex: *Ping ping* Entry found! Shuppet, the puppet pokemon. Shuppet is attracted by feelings of jealousy and vindictiveness. If someone develops strong feelings of vengeance, this Pokémon will appear in a swarm and line up beneath the eaves of that person's home.

This Shuppet must have appeared to help Sableye when it sensed its strong feelings of anger and vengeance!!

The two ghost types begin to draw closer, reading themselves for a battle.

Juno: Ross, Cyndaquil is useless against these pokemon. Call it back, we can use our flash lights. I'll help you battle with my trapinch. It's bite attack will come in handy!

Just so you know, we have the pokemon move tutor for a reason. If there is an egg move you want your pokemon to learn, take it there. You can drop off Juno's pokemon too. The catch is, they are there for 3 days, and you can't use them in the RPG until those 3 days are over. Just thought I'd tell you incase you wanted to get Cynda some good moves early on.

Me: Flashlights...hmm, might scare them off, but sure. Squirtle go hit a tail whip on Shuppet and then hit a bubble. If you pass right through it whilst trying the tail whip turn around and hit a bubble. Need to see if I can use another attack.

Juno: Go Trapnich, use quick attack to speed yourself up and then bite that Sableye. Remember to stay away from it unless you're attacking.


OOC: Yeah...don't really want to do that. Not sure why, some good egg moves for Cyndaquil, but I'd rather not :)

Squirtle whips its tail, but instead of using it as an attack, it uses it to destract Shuppet, lowering its defense. As the ghost pokemon giggles to itself at the funny sight, Squirtle turns and hammers it hard with a wall of bubble attacks.

Trapinch uses quick attack to move at near invisible speed around Sableye. The ghost pokemon has extraordinary sight and is able to scratch Trap as it whizzes by. Trapinch turns and bites Sableye, but its not very effective.

Juno: Maybe I should use Trapinch on Shuppet, its bite is super effective against it. But not against Sableye. If its the Shuppet you want, you can catch it after we knock it out.

Me: I'd rather catch it myself, but thank you for the offer. I'm sure this will be good practise for your Trapinch...or we could try and tag this. Hmm, wait...*whispers something in Juno's ear*...yeah or no?

Juno: I'll give it a try. Trapinch, use quick attack again to speed up and run around both Sableye and Shuppet.

Me: Squirtle, Get on Trapinch and use bubble trapping them both inside a wall of bubbles!

Juno: ...and if that works Trapinch jump in and bite them both!

The plan works like a charm as Squirtle and Trap work together in perfect unison. Shuppet and Sableye become shrouded in a wall of bubbles and then find themselves loosing chunks of damage as Trapinch jumps in with multiple bite attacks.

Unfortunately, jumping through the bubbles hurt Trapinch quite badly....

OOC: For some reason I thought of one of the only Pokemon Hoenn episodes I've seen...it being the one where Ash faced Tate and Liza. Thought of Pikachu on Taillow...so I thought I'd try the same :)


Juno: Ground weak against water. Forgot about that.

Me: So did I. Hmm...

Juno: Trapinch, keep using quick attack and then jumping in at Sableye and Shuppet every now and again with bite!

Me: Squirtle, time to get acrobatic. Jump onto Trapinch when you can and fire bubbles at both sableye and Shuppet and if you can, hit the odd tail whip!

Trapinch whizzes around the ghost pokemon, occasionly stopping to bite them. Soon, however, Trapinch gets tired. Sableye rushes at it and scratches and then Shuppet follows in with Knock Off.

Squirtle tries to protect Trapinch by using bubble. But after a few hit Shuppet, the ghost turns and uses its secret attack: Disable!

You: What the!? *Pulls out 'dex*

Poke'dex: Shuppet, like nearly all pokemon, is able to learn moves through breeding. These moves are passed on from the pokemons parents. Shuppet, are capable of learning 5 egg moves. One of them being Disable.

Juno: Oh noo!

OOC: I assume that disabling Bubble?


Me: This will make things interesting.

Juno: It sure will.

Me: Squirtle, tail whip both Sableye and Shuppet

Juno: Jump in and bite them after Squirtle hits his attack Trapinch and then use quick attack to evade their attacks.

Me: When Trapinch uses quick attack Squirtle jump on it's back and leap off using more tail whips!

Juno: Then strike for more bites Trapinch. This shouldn't take much longer!

Squirtle lowers the ghosts defense with more tailwhips. But Sableye doesn't think its too cute. It rushes in at Squirtle with scratch attack but is cut off by Trapinch who uses a bite. Squirtle turns an tailwhips Shuppet to keep its mind off the battle. Trapinch lays bite after bite, doing huge damage to Sableye.

Finish Sableye!

Shuppet, on the other hand, looks perfeclty fine.

Me: That Shuppet looks too happy. Squirtle Keep up the tail whips and jumping off Trapinch. I know it's dull, but it's all you can do.

Juno: Keep up the quick attack and bite combo Trapinch. Hit a few bites on Sableye and then try and land a few on Shuppet.

*readies pokeball* :)

Trapinch lays a finishing bite on Sableye and the ghost pokemon faints.

Level up +1 for Squirtle and Trapinch.

Squirtle tries to wag its tail, and as its breathing heavily it suddenly lets out a bubble. It's no longer disabled!!

Trapinch tries its quick attack and bite combo, but is sent flying backwards as Shuppet nails it inbetween the eyes with a knock off.

Juno: Come on Trapinch, hold on. Keep up the quick attack, maybe do some weaving, but keep lunging in with bites.

Me: Squirtle, fire some bubbles at Shuppet and whilst it's distracted by those and Trapinch biting it hit a tail whip, bounce off Trapinch and use a bubble!

Shuppet continuously blocks Trapinch's bites with knock off as the ground pokemon attempts one after another.

Squirtle, while it has the chance, sneaks up behind Shuppet and hammers it with bubbles. But still, somehow, Shuppet refuses to give in.

Me: That Shuppet is being a real bugger.

Juno: I thought you didn't want a Sableye?

Me: I don't, but I couldn't just leave it lying there in it's weakend form now could I. I'm sure someone will trade with me in Viridian.

Juno: I don't like trading, but if you don't want it I guess it would be better off with someone who will. Now, this Shuppet?

Me: Yeah, Squirtle, you're going to have to try and distract that Shuppet so Trapinch can get some good bite attacks in. Maybe we should try a tail whip bite combo in that order?

Juno: Yeah, sounds like a plan.

Me: Squirtle jump at Shuppet and try some tail whips!

Juno: Jump right behind Squirtle Trapinch and bite that Shuppet!

Me: Turn around when you land Squirtle and hit a bubble and then a tail whip!

Juno: Then jump in for another bite Trapinch, we can take this pokemon down!



OOC: A question, since I said I don't like just randomly getting pokemon can I do a little rp of me getting the Mareep?

Sure whatever. But do it when we leave the cave or else it will be weird. And you're pokemon will not get level up for it.

Juno: When Squirtle throws you Trapinch use a bite attack, that should finish it. If not just keep biting it, it looks to worn out to retaliate.

I meant if you have Mareep appear and you decide to "catch it" you won't get any level up if you have one of your pokemon KO it because it wasn't part of my updates.

You fall asleep and when morning arrives you head to Viridian.

Juno: Why don't you challenge the gym?

Me: I was told that the leader was the toughest around here in Viridian. Besides I haven't the pokemon to effectivly beat someone like a gym leader yet. Lets head on up to...ugh...Pewter right. That forrest is just outside of town and there are a few bug pokemon there I've heard.

Juno: BUGS! If you're going in I'm taking a route around.

Me: Is there a route around?

Juno: I don't know, but I'm not going anywhere near some bug filled forest...EWW!
