May: Bring it on!! Go Treecko!!! Let's do it buddy.
Mist: *Calls out into the sky* Yannnmaaa!!! Your up! *Yanma comes buzzing back to Mist and readies itself for battle*
Wally: Go, Ralts! Hehehe.

*Aqua Members ready to attack*

Mist: Yanma, quick attack that corpish and then send it flying with signal beam! Speed boost should get you a LOT faster than him. Keep that water pokemon away from Ralts and Treecko.
Wally: Ralts, use confusion to close Clamperls shell, then use him as a weapon to his psyduck with!
May: Treecko, wait for Ralts to do its thing, then hit the stunned Psyduck with aborb, then do the same to Clamperl

[Alice!]

The Clamperl lets out a twister of water straight towards Yanma as soon is it unleashes its Quick Attack. The attack misses and instead hits Ralts, just before it can use its Confusion. Ralts gets trapped in the vortex. Yanma continues on towards Corphish, and hits it with Quick Attack. Corphish quickly grabs Yanma's tail with its claw and slams it into the ground. Treecko sees Ralts trapped in the water and hits Psyduck with Absorb as it sprays water all over the battlefield

[RipTide]

Mist: Yanma, signalbeam corphish in the face to make it let go!
May: Treecko, bounce on clamperl to get height then quick attack and absorb psyduck!
Wally: Ralts, confusion to pick up Clamperl, then smash it into the ground over and over.

[Alice!]

Corphish is hit with Signal Beam and drops Yanma in the confusion of the lights. Corphish holds up its claws and forms a ring of water, then shoots it at Yanma. Yanma and Corphish are both confused now. Ralts uses a psychic blast to blow apart the twister, then picks up and throws Clamperl around mercilessly. Treecko uses Clamperl like a steeping stone, and as Ralts flings it up again, Treecko jumps high and look for Psyduck. Psyduck, incidentally, is hitting Ralts with Scratch, causing it to lose its focus and drop Clamperl onto a rock. Treecko then hits Psyduck with Absorb for moderate damage.

[RipTide]

Mist: Yanma, snap out of it. Foresight to keep an eye on Corphish. Then signal beam followed by Quick Attack!
May: Great work Treecko. Now, quick attack around psyduck to confuse it. Dodge ALL attacks! Then go in for a pound/absorb combo!
Wally: Great Ralts. Double Team to keep psyduck from hitting you, then pick Clamperl back up and smash it on that rock over and over!

[Alice!]

Yanma uses Foresight as Corphish lunges towards it. Yanma flits out of the way, and Corphish sails on, almost falling over the edge. Yanma then uses its Signal Beam on what it think is Corphish. The attack heads straight to where Psyduck and Treecko are going at it, and the attack hits both of them. Treecko was in the middle of its run at the time, and got distracted anough that Psyduck hit it with Scratch. Treecko then pivots and punches Psyduck with Pound, and pulls back while stealing its health with Absorb. Psyduck staggers backwards. Ralts uses Double Team, and suddenly there's seven Ralts' on the battlefield. Clamperl spits water at them at the same time as Corphish starts Bubbling. Ralts uses Confusion to fling Clamperl at Corphish, dealing damage to both of them. However, a lingering Bubble attack hits the real Ralts, who is damaged slightly as the Double Team breaks.

[RipTide]

Wally:Awesome ^_^....
Mist: Great work everyone. Keep it up! Yanma, flap your wings at highspeeds to try and blow corphish off the edge. Whether or not it works, NAIL it with a signal beam quick attack combo!
May: Treecko, use your speed to your advantage. Hop and dance around Psyduck, then smash it with your tail. Then jump on it and absorb as much as you can; its super effective!
Wally: Ralts, growl at Clamperl to shock it, then use confusion to try and crush it. Throw it to the ground and try to crack the shell.

[Alice!]

Yanma quickly blasts gusts of air at Corphish, who tenses up and is unmoved. Yanma then blasts it with Signal Beam, knocking it back a few inches so it slips off the edge, angrily spewing Bubbles as it goes. Ralts Growls at Clamperl as it throws another twister of water at it, trapping Ralts in the vortex. Clamperl then slowly approaches Treecko. Treecko has been demolishing Psyduck with quick movements and Absorbs. Psyduck suddenly turns at Treecko and waggles its finger. Treecko pauses to figure out what's up and gets hit with Clamperl's Clamp attack.

[RipTide]

Mist: Great work Yanma, keep an eye on the ledge to see what happens with Corphish. That fall should have KO'd it but.... I'm not convinced. But don't sit there and do nothing! Help Treecko!
May: Make that Clamperl wish it never touched you! Absorb it hard since its insides are vulnerable to you right now. It should let go. Then send it flying away with pound.
Mist: Yanma, go in and signal beam Psyduck in the eyes to try and confuse it!
Wally: Great idea, then you take control of its mind, Ralts, with confusion. And make it hurt itself. Then try and do massive damage by sending it smashing into the ground!

[Alice!]

Just a note, your Steelix's Metal Coat was expended when it evolved.

Yanma's 360o vision keeps an eye on the ledge as it Signal Beams Psyduck. Oddly, when Wally's Ralts's attack hits, the mental strain causes Psyduck to snap. It grins evily, and its eyes glow purple. Clamperl is enveloped in a purple haze as Psyduck slams it repeatedly into Treecko. Treecko keeps up a steady stream of Abosrbs to keep itself alove, and Clamperl faints quickly from the trauma and Absorbs. Psyduck scowls and tosses Clamperl off the edge as its owner recalls it.

MemberA: Oh! You're in trouble now kid. No one's ever beaten my Psyduck when it's like this.

Level up for Treecko and Ralts

[RipTide]

Mist: We're going to have to work together now guys!
May: Treecko, you ready? *Treecko nods*
Wally: Ralts, start us off! Double team all around Psyduck to keep it busy!
Mist: Then Yanma, use signal beam right into its eyes!
May: Then treecko, go behind it and absorb as much energy as you can!!!!
Mist: Remember Yanma, keep an eye out for Corphish, we're not sure if it got KO'd.

[Alice!]

Ralts puts all its energy into a Double Team, creating six after images in a circle around Psyduck. Psyduck starts blasting them away with psychic attacks, but Ralts keeps making more. Yanma flits up above the chaos and use Signal Beam, which Psyduck deflects automatically with a mental shield. The attack ricochets off into the air, narrowly missing Yanma. Meanwhile, Treecko gets back behind Psyduck and hits it with Absorb. The attack connects, but in addition to the usual flow of green energy, some purple is mixed in. When Treecko finally finishes its attack, it is confused, and has healed almost no HP.

[RipTide]

Mist: That's okay Yanma! Foresight to view any possible weak spots, then nail it with a quick attack-signal beam combination!
Wally: Keep up the double team Ralts! Try to bring down its forcefield with your own confusion attack!
May: Treecko, that's good. Keep working. Leer at that ugly duck and then when Yanma finds the weakspot go in with a pound-absorb combo!

[Alice!]

Ralts continues to crank out Double Teams as Psyduck blasts them away. Ralts uses its Confusion from all sides as Psyduck throws up shields. The two remain at a standoff of Psychic powers until Psyduck finally hits the right target. Ralts flys backwards, but at that exact moment, Yanma finishes its Foresight. It flits down and whispers something to Treecko, who nods and runs up in front of Psyduck while using Absorb. This time, Psyduck keeps all its attention on Treecko, who Absorbs its psychic energy fully, dealing itself damage. While Psyduck's attention is focused, Yanma flies behind and aims a precise Signal Beam attack at Psyduck's back. Psyduck completely ignores that blast until it makes contact, sending it sprawling towards Treecko, who happily Pounds Psyduck and uses a useful Absorb, healing the damage from before.

[RipTide]

May: Wow... great teamwork!
Mist: Yeah! ^_^
Wally: Ralts, you okay? Get back in the Psyducks face and startle it with growl! Then pin it down with confusion!
Mist: Yanma, keep it up. Your speed is untouchable by now with that speed boost. Zoom around and use foresight to find those openings, then hit it hard with signal beam.
May: Watch Yanma as it looks for openings, until then dodge all attacks with your quick attack. When you know where an opening is, go in with quick attack and bite down on Psyduck, then absorb as much as you can!

[Alice!]

Yanma uses Forsight as it flits back and forth, keeping the same relative postion to Psyduck no matter Psyduck does. Ralts perks up and cries out as it charges Psyduck. Psyduck throws up a barrier, with Ralts counters by using Confusion. The two pokemon are sent stumbling backwards, and Yanma has to veer to one side to avoid flying into a tree. The moment Yanma deviates from its course, Psyduck spins around and grabs Yanma with a mental force. Yanma struggles to get free, its energy being sapped away from it the longer Psyduck maintains its hold. Treecko suddenly gets a flash of insight and leaps onto a tree branch, mirroring what Yanma was doing earlier. Treecko dives straight for Psyduck, who is completely ignorant to Treecko's presence until it hits with its Quick Attack. Psyduck then hurls Treecko away before it can Absorb, letting go of Yanma in the process.

[RipTide]

May: Great work treecko!
Mist: Thanks May, Treecko sure helped us out there. Yanma, fly at near invisible speeds and start hacking away at Psyduck's HP with a barrage of quickattacks. If he grabs a hold of you, startle him with signal beam.
May: Treecko, back into the tree now. Hide and wait for an opportunity to pound and absorb. It's the strongest combo we have!
Wally: Ralts, you're doing amazing. Keep up this psychic dual. Take down its barriers with confusion and send it flying backwards with the strongest blast you can muster!

[Alice!]

Yanma flaps it wings and dissapears from view. Small shields start appearing all around Psyduck, occasionally with glowing lights showing up slightly before. Treecko jumps up and out of the way as Ralts launches a barrage of Confusion attacks. Yanma continues pelting Psyduck while Treecko gets into position and attack, getting through all the barriers and Pound/Absorbing Psyduck. When Treecko connects with its attacks, Ralts finally breaks through, hitting Psyduck with Confusion as Yanma hits it with Signal Beam. Psyduck is sent reeling from all the attacks and falls face first to the ground before weakly getting up, the glow in its eyes starting to fade.

Mist: Guys. take advantage of this opportunity!! Yanma, quick attack to finish it!
May: Treecko, quick attack with absorb!
Wally: Ralts, confusion!!!

BTW: When I KO'd corphish, Yanma didn't gain a level... Was that on purpose, or did you forget? =[

[Alice!]

Yanma and Treecko rush in with twin Quick Attacks and strike Psyduck before Ralts can get an attack in, leaving the poor guy out of it.

May: All right you three, now what's your deal with Briney?

MemberB: Yeah right, like we'd tell you. Now Corphish!

Corphish bursts from out of a bush and gribs Ralts between its pincers.

[RipTide]

Mist: I knew it!
Wally: Ralts! NO! Confusion that crawfish to make it let go of you, then evade it with double team!
May: Treecko, jump all around Corphish and absorb it to get it angry- if it's still holding on to Ralts, make sure your attacks don't hit it! Make sure everything hits Corphish.
Mist: Yanma, we can't risk hitting Ralts with signal beam. So- foresight to aim at Corphish, then zoom in with quick attack!

[Alice!]

Much to your surprise, Corphish faints after just one Confusion attack. Looks like the fall hurt more than you thought it did. Regardless....

Level up for Yanma and Ralts

MemberB: Ermmh...sorry?
MemberA: Yeah right! Snap out of it, we gotta go report to the boss.
MemberC: See ya' later suckers!

The Aqua Members dash down the path faster than you can chaase them down and get into escape boats, roaring off across the water. Lucky you though, they seem to have dropped something.

Mist: Yeeaah! A blue flute! This will come in handy if my pokemon ever fall asleep.
Wally:Hm.. that's pretty cool!
May:Come on guys, lets go talk to Mr. Briney. If we run into a police station any time soon we should tell them about the Aqua members.
Mist and Wally: Right! Let's go.

[Alice!]

You head down the path to Mr. Briney's sea-side cottage. You enter to see the place in ramshackles, the whole place looks trashed. Mr. Briney's asleep on his bed thoguh, apparently undisturbed.

[RipTide]

Wally: Erm....
Mist: Hey Mr. Briney! WAAKEY WAAKEY!
May: *Sigh* Way to go Mist...

[Alice!]

Mr. Briney: *yawn* *looks around* Ahh! What are you kids doing here?

[RipTide]

Mist: Hello sir. We were on our way to ask for a ride to Dewford when we saw a bunch of Aqua members come from your house. We fought them off... but it looks like they did more damage than we thought. Are you okay?

[Alice!]

Mr. Briney: Aqua members? Who in the world are they. I've been looking all over to find my keys. I can't even start the boat without 'em, let alone take you kids anywhere.

[RipTide]

Mist: Aqua Members are a group of people that work for a secret and evil organization out to expand the sea, destroying the earth... Anyways...
May: We can help you find your keys!
Wally: Yeaah!
Mist: I've got an idea! Go Yanma, use foresight and your awesome eyes to find those keys!

[Alice!]

Yanma appears and quickly scours the room, turning up nothing.

Mr. Briney: The last time I remember having them is down at the beach somewhere. Maybe I dropped them there by accident. Would you kids mind looking for me, I'm not as spry as I once was.

[RipTide]

YES I WOULD MIND! >_<

*May elbows Mist*
May:We'd be more than happy.
Wally:Let's go!
*The group heads to the beach, in search of keys and pokemon*

[Alice!]

You walk down to the beach, and look around. Yanma quickly spots some tracks, and you follow them down to the end of the beach where it meets some bushes. They rustle, and a pokemon you've never seen before waddles out. A grayish blue pokemon with a wide grin and two pointed ears. It's about two feet tall, and seems very heavy, due to its sinking slightly into the sand.

[RipTide]

Wally: Is that a Glalie?
May: Why would one of those be on the beach...
Wally: Maybe its a Wooper? No, no.. those are smaller. ARGH! I think my eyes are fogged.. *rubs his eyes*
Mist: Guys, I don't what it is, so let's check. *Pulls out a poke'dex*

[Alice!]

Dex: Ping...ping...error! Please point at pokemon.

May: Well that's weird. It's not even registering as a pokemon.
Wally: Ermh. Now what guys?

The mystery pokemon shuffles aside a little, and you can see into the grotto it came from. A collection of many different unrelated items lie there. You notice a bunch of them seem to be food.

[RipTide]

Mist: Wait a tic!!! That thing looks like the pokemon Professor Elm told me about before I left on my journey. He said new pokemon were starting to be discovered, and that Munchlax was one of them!
May: My dad said what?
Wally: What the heck is a Munchlax?
Mist: The baby form of Snorlax!
May and Wally: No way!!!
Mist: Hey, are those Briney's keys amongst all that food?
May: I don't know, maybe. There's too much clutter to see.
Mist: Yanma, ask Munchlax if it has keys. If it does and won't cooperate, flash your signal beam so I know and I can catch that sucker to stay outta our way.
Wally: Isn't that dangerous? We don't know anything about it!
Mist: Yeah, but catching it could make some big news throughout the pokemon world!

[Alice!]

Yanma buzzes down towards Munchlax and the two start conversing.Yanma flashes its Signal Beam, startling Munchlax, who runs back to its den and crouches defensively over its food stash. Yanma uses Foresight to get a lock on the keys, but can't see them. Munchlax must have hidden them somewhere.

[RipTide]

Mist: Fine, we're going to have to knock this lil' guy out.
Wally:That's kinda sad...
May:Yeah, but we hafta do it for Mr. Briney.
Mist:Maybe we don't hafta hurt it. I have a plan. Yanma, keep buzzing around and find those keys. I'll use Oddish to lure it away from its nest. GO ODDISH! Okay buddy, lure Munchlax towards you with sweet scent. Keep drawing it away from its nest so Yanma can find the keys!
Wally: That's genious!

[Alice!]

Yanma buzzes around as Oddish uses Sweet Scent. Munchlaxx drunkily breathes in the fumes, then pauses, gets a ravenous look in its eyes, and stares at Oddish in a stupor before charging and knocking it backwards.

Mist: Damn! This must be what Professor Elm warned me about. Feeding frenzy!

[RipTide]

Mist: Yanma! Munchlax is out of its nest! Find those keys now! Grab 'em and get back here! Run Oddish, run! Wave your leaves and blow the sweetscent away from you and away from its nest so it follows the smell!

[Alice!]

Yanma zooms in and quickly grabs a pair of keys. Oddish leads Munchlax onto the beach before getting hit by a full body Tackle, knocking Oddish into the sand. Munchlax licks Oddish, sending Oddish into convulsions before locking up in paralysis.

[RipTide]

Mist: Okay,we got the keys. Now, come here Yanma and lemme have em. Great job buddy. Now, return Oddish!

*They turn to leave when Mist decides this opportunity isn't worth passing up*

May:What are you doing?
Mist:I'm catching that Munchlax! Go Steelix, that lil sucker won't lay much damage on you! *Steelix appears- it's steel body rotating and shining in the bright sun.* Knock him silly with rockslide then get in their and crush him with bind!

[Alice!]

Munchlax glares at Steelix, who uses Rock Slide as Munchlax curls up into a small ball. The rocks bounce of of Munchlax's flexible skin, doing little damage. Steelix then wraps around Munchlax and squeezes tightly with a bind, but Munchlax slips out and lands in the sand.

[RipTide]

Mist: Steelix, you are a kajillion times tougher than this thing. Use your brute force to crush him! Tunnel underground and then come up and knock him into the sky, then slam him down onto a pile of boulders from rockthrow with your massive tail.

[Alice!]

Onix dives down as Munchlax uncurls, then sits down with a dumb look on its face. Munchlax falls facefirst onto the ground and sighs heavily as it waits for Steelix, who comes up quickly, knocking Munchlax high into the air. Munchlax curls up as the Steelix smacks it down with its tail. Munclax rebounds off the ground and jetisons up towards Steelix. Munchlax latches onto Steelix's tail with its mouth, and Steelix starts spasming as Munchlax drops off and takes a look at what it did. Steelix continues to writhe, then freezes up, gripped by paralysis.

[RipTide]

Mist: Creepy lil'... *sigh* Steelix, here a Prz Cure. *use it* Now get in there! Rockslide to trap him, then rear up and smash down with youe entire body. Smash him on the head- come on, yor made of stell. Make it hurt him!

Hehehe. You called steelix, onix.

[Alice!]

Whatev'. Steelix became on Onix for a moment. You were confused, until it became shiny and Steelix-like again.

Munchlax curls up into a ball again, and the rocks slamming down on him causes him to squirt out directly into Steelix's eye. Steelix howls in rage and slams Munchlax into the side of the nearby cliff, embedding him a few feet in. Munchlax rolls out and pops up, dazed but still able to fight.

Also, did you get the PM sent you last night? I kind of want an answer.

[RipTide]

May: Wow... that lil' guy can take a hit!
Mist:Yeah, but he can't hold out forever. Steelix, tunnel under again and try and create a quick-sand like pit so he get's stuck. Then strike it with a full out tackle. As he falls back to the ground, hit it with rockslide followed by a deadly bind attack!

[Alice!]

Steelix burrows, but without a natural spring, is unable to make quicksand. Munchlax waddles over and Licks Steelix's tail, causing it to shudder and reflexively smack Munchlax in the head. Munchlax flies up into the air and lands headfirst, dazed and confused.

Finish Munchlax

[RipTide]

Mist: Slam down hard with your tail, right on his head! Finisht the little bugger!

[Alice!]

Steelix slams down onto Munchlax, effectively knocking it out.

Level up for Steelix

Mist: All right! G'job Steelix!

[RipTide]

Mist: Let's catch this guy! *throws greatball*

[Alice!]

1...2...3...all right! You caught a Munchlax! (Level 12, Egg Move Lick, Male, Ability: Immune)

Just use Snorlax's moveset. Also, I'm setting the evolution at level 26. At least until we know what it actually is.

Mist: Awesome... *return Steelix*
Wally:Let's get these keys back to Mr. Briney

[Alice!]

You return, and give Mr. Briney the keys. He gives you an odd look.

Mr. Briney: These aren't my keys...where did you find these?

[RipTide]

Mist: Er... on the beach... a pokemon had stolen them
May: Now what do we do?
Wally: Ugh.

[Alice!]

Mr. Briney: Well, maybe I should go down and take a look for myself. Would you mind accompanying me?

[RipTide]

Mist: Sure! Wynaut?
May: Haha.. loser..

[Alice!]

You go back down to the grotto, leading Mr Briney. Yanma quickly scans it and finds a large pile of keys. Mr. Briney looks through them....

Mr. Briney: None of these are mine! That little Laxathing must have put them somewhere else.

[RipTide]

Mist: *Lets Munchy out of its pokeball* Okay Munchlax, where are this man's keys?
May: Please tell us Munchlax!

[Alice!]

Munchlax waddles out towards the keys and yawns, promptly falling asleep.

[RipTide]

Mist: Here you go, sir. Now can you take us to Dewford? I want to get there and do some training before I take on Brawley....

[Alice!]

Mr. Briney: For you kids, anything. Come on aboard.
May: Cool. We're going to go to Dewford!

The four of you take off, and after an uneventful boat ride, arrive in Dewford.

Mr. Briny: I'm going to go take a break in the Pokemon Center. I'll be there if you need to leave.

[RipTide]

Mist: Wow.. it's awesome outside right now ^_^
May: I love the beach!
Wally: Let's go check out the beaches!
Mist: Great idea. Maybe I'll find some pokemon or trainers to battle. I could use a doubles battle for my pokemon or something.

[Alice!]

The three of you head up along the beaches, taking in the beautiful scenery and salty air. Eventually, you reach a bit of a fork in the road. You have come upon a cliff with a large opening. Looks like there's quite a bit of room in there. You assume it to be a cave of some sort. You also see large rocks beginning to crop up along the beach. Maybe something's using them to hide.

A: Into the cave
S: Investigate the rocks

[RipTide]

Mist: Let's investigate the rocks and then we'll go into the cave later.
May and Wally: Sounds good!

[Mr. Blue!]

You enter the grotto and discover its plum full of beach pokemon; Staryu, Krabby, Marill, and an odd orb shaped thing with an odd design in the corner...

[RipTide]

Mist:Ohhh man, I want that Krabby! It'd be a nice addition to the team.
Wally:You take Krabby, and I'll go off and battle some pokemon on my own, see'ya!
May: I want to see what that orb is... I'll get it. Be right back!

[Mr. Blue!]

Wally leaves and you corner the biggest Krabby you can find. May grabs the orb and suddenly water sprays in her face hard. The orb jumps away and out pop blue two arms, legs, and a head.

[RipTide]

Mist: May, take care of whatever that is. Catch it if you want. I'm going for this Krabby. Go, Oddish! Oddish, attract Krabby towards you than hammer it with razor leaves! Stay away from its claws!

[Mr. Blue!]

Krabby smells the sweat scent of Oddish's leaves and rushes towards it. Oddish then sends sveral razor sharp leaves flying at Krabby, hurting the pokemon severely, as well as getting it very angry. It dives at Oddish claws ready to strike.


May sends out Treeko to battle the Squirtle, starting right off the bat with an Absorb attack.

[RipTide]

Do I have to battle for May? Or are you just going to give me updates as we go?

Mist: Oddish DODGE! Use absorb to mess up Krabby's attack! Then use sweet scent to lure Krabby back, we want a close range razor leaf attack to do as much damage as possible. You have the upper hand on types here, so let's see what we can do!

[Mr. Blue!]

I'm just going to update it as we go, unless you want to battle Squirtle.

Oddish jumps away and Krabby barely misses the attack. Oddish shoots several vines at Krabby, which attatch onto it and leech off of him. He cuts off a few vines with his claws and before the attack ends. Oddish then lets out a sweet aroma, luring Krabby in. As Oddish is about to release its razor sharp leaves, the Krabby lunges forward and snaps with its claws.

Mist: Great work Oddish. Since Krabby keeps getting in your face, absorb it! At such a close range you can absorb tons! When it lets loose, use the biggest barrage of razor leaves you can!

Krabby snaps close to Oddish again, and is leeched by the Absorb attack. He shakes off the vines and goes for another attack, but is hit by a barrage of Razor leaves. Krabby becomes very iratated and snaps Oddish, sending the grass-type into a painful vicegrip attack.

Mist: Oddish, create a sweet scent and blow it away from you with your leaves that way Krabby will follow the nice aroma. Then when its back is to you, hammer it with razor leaf. Try and finish it!

You run inside the cave. After exploring a little you find very little. Suddenly you feel something fuzzy brush your leg. You look down to see a Swinub brushing against the back of your leg scratching itself.

Mist: Okay, you catch it. May and I will keep searching around to see if anyone else is in here. I coulda swore I saw someone come in.

You two adventure through the cave and it begins to get darker and deeper. Soon May complains of getting scared, and the place is giving you the chills, and not just from the tempurature. Suddenly something slides into your legs send both of you to the ground. A flashlight shines on your grunting and groaning and you hear a kid call back his Delibird that just slammed into you.

B: Battle him.
L: Yell at him.
U: Blow him off, it's too freaky down here to do anything, and Wally probably has caught that Swinub by now.

Mist:Hey kid, let's get out of this cave. You really hurt me and I'd sure like to duke it out with our pokemon.

[Alice!]

The kid walks up to you, his Delibird right behind him. He appears to be around 15, and is pretty scrawny for his height.

Kid: I'd love to, but his isn't the easiest cave to get out of. Take a look behind you.

You look back and see many snaking pathways branching off in different directions. Most unsettlingly, you can't remember which one you came from.

Kid: I've been stuck in here for a couple days now. I've been eating what my Delibird can cath for me in a pool I found down here. Mostly raw cave-fish. Not the tastiest thing you've ever eaten.
May: Wait. Are you saying we're stuck down here!?
Kid: Well, to be blunt, yes. The floor is slick, so there's no tracks to follow. If you haven't noticed yet, the tracking device on your PokeNav doesn't work down there. And to top it all off, there's no special features in this central room to help us remember which paths we've already been down!
May: Damn....

[RipTide]

Mist: That's alright, I got a plan. Yanma, Steelix, Staryu, come on out. *both pokemon appear after a flash of red light* Yanma, use your wings to create vibrations and try to use a kind of sonar to find a way out. Steelix, tunnel around and try to find a path back out to the beach. Staryu, you just stay here and blink your core if you sense any danger approaching. I sure hope Wally didn't get lost since he's all alone....

[Alice!]

Yanma flaps its wings, and, using Staryu as a reference point, flaps its wings and flits about. Unfortunately, without the capacity to process the information from the reflecting sound waves, it just gets itself lost before flying back to Staryu. Steelix dives off into the rock, quickly dissapearing from sight. Staryu suddenly flashes, just before you hear a high pitched screaming. Wally comes running into the cavern and slams into May. The two of them roll off into a wall.

Kid: Hey, are you two okay.
Wally: Oww.... I think so. Now what was I...oh yeah! I saw this really weird pokemon down here. I panicked in the darkness, but I don't think it chased me....

Mist:Staryu, Yanma, do you sense anything? *pulls out poke'dex and points it into the dark cavern wally came from* Let's see if the 'dex picks up anything.....
